1. ఇదంతయు సమాప్తమైన తరువాత అక్కడనున్న ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును యూదా పట్టణములకు పోయి, యూదాదేశమంతటను, బెన్యామీను ఎఫ్రాయిము మనష్షే దేశముల యందంతటను ఉన్న విగ్రహములను నిర్మూలముచేసి, దేవతాస్తంభములను ముక్కలుగా నరికి, ఉన్నతస్థలములను బలిపీఠములను పడగొట్టిరి; తరువాత ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును తమ తమ పట్టణములలోనున్న తమ తమ స్వాస్థ్యములకు తిరిగి వెళ్లిరి

1. Now, when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went forth unto the cities of Judah, and brake in pieces the pillars and cut down the Sacred Stems and threw down the high places and the altars, out of all Judah and Benjamin and throughout Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had made an end, then all the sons of Israel returned every man to his own possession, unto their own cities.

2. అంతట హిజ్కియా యెవరి సేవాధర్మము వారు జరుపుకొనునట్లుగా యాజకులను వరుసల ప్రకారముగాను, లేవీయులను వారి వారి వరుసల ప్రకారముగాను నియమించెను; దహనబలులను సమాధాన బలులను అర్పించుటకును, సేవను జరిగించుటకును కృతజ్ఞతా స్తుతులు చెల్లించుటకును, యెహోవా పాళెపు ద్వారముల యొద్దస్తుతులు చేయుటకును యాజకులను లేవీయులను నియ మించెను.

2. And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests, and the Levites, over their courses, every man according to the requirements of his service, both priests and Levites, for ascending-sacrifice and for peace-offerings, to be in attendance and to give thanks and to offer praise, in the gates of the camps of Yahweh;

3. మరియు యెహోవాధర్మశాస్త్రమునందు వ్రాయ బడియున్న విధినిబట్టి జరుగు ఉదయాస్తమయముల దహన బలులను విశ్రాంతిదినములకును అమావాస్యలకును నియా మకకాలములకును ఏర్పడియున్న దహనబలులను అర్పించుటకై తనకు కలిగిన ఆస్తిలోనుండి రాజు ఒక భాగమును ఏర్పాటుచేసెను.

3. also the portion of the king out of his own substance, for the ascending-sacrifices, even for the ascending-sacrifices of the morning and of the evening, and the ascending-sacrifices for the sabbaths, and for the new moons and for the appointed feasts, as written in the law of Yahweh.

4. మరియు యెహోవా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును బట్టి యాజకులును లేవీయులును ధైర్యము వహించి తమ పని జరుపుకొనునట్లు ఎవరి భాగములను వారికి ఇయ్య వలసినదని యెరూషలేములో కాపురమున్న జనులకు అతడు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

4. And he bade the people who were dwelling in Jerusalem give the portion of the priests and the Levites, to the end they might persevere in the law of Yahweh.

5. ఆ యాజ్ఞ వెల్లడియగుటతోడనే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రథమఫలములైన ధాన్య ద్రాక్షారసములను నూనెను తేనెను సస్యఫలములను విస్తారముగా తీసికొని వచ్చిరి. సమస్తమైన వాటిలోనుండియు పదియవ వంతులను విస్తారముగా తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

5. And, as soon as the thing spread abroad, the sons of Israel caused to abound the firstfruit of corn, new wine, and oil, and honey, and all the increase of the field, yea, the tithe of all in abundance, brought they in.

6. యూదా పట్టణములలో కాపురమున్న ఇశ్రాయేలు వారును యూదా వారును ఎద్దులలోను గొఱ్ఱెలలోను పదియవవంతును, తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములైన వస్తువులలో పదియవ వంతును తీసికొని వచ్చి కుప్పలుగా కూర్చిరి.

6. And, as for the sons of Israel and Judah who were dwelling in the cities of Judah, even they, a tithe of oxen, and sheep, and a tithe of hallowed things, which had been hallowed unto Yahweh their God, did bring in and pile up heaps, heaps.

7. వారు మూడవ మాసమందు కుప్పలువేయ నారంభించి ఏడవ మాసమందు ముగించిరి.

7. In the third month, began they the heaps, at the foundation, and, in the seventh, they finished.

8. హిజ్కియాయును అధి పతులును వచ్చి ఆ కుప్పలను చూచి యెహోవాను స్తుతించి ఆయన జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను దీవించిరి.

8. And Hezekiah and the rulers came, and saw the heaps, and blessed Yahweh, and his people Israel.

9. హిజ్కియా ఆ కుప్పలనుగూర్చి యాజకులను లేవీయులను ఆలోచన యడిగినందుకు సాదోకు సంతతివాడును ప్రధానయాజ కుడునగు అజర్యా

9. Then applied Hezekiah unto the priests and the Levites, concerning the heaps.

10. యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి జనులు కానుకలను తెచ్చుట మొదలుపెట్టినప్పటినుండి మేము సమృద్ధిగా భోజనముచేసినను చాలా మిగులుచున్నది; యెహోవా తన జనులను ఆశీర్వదించినందున ఇంత గొప్పరాశి మిగిలినదని రాజుతోననగా

10. And Azariah, the chief priest of the house of Zadok, spake unto him, and said From the time of beginning to bring in, the heave-offering, into the house of Yahweh to eat and to be full, there hath still been left, even to this abundance. For, Yahweh, hath blessed his people, and, that which is left, is this great plenty.

11. హిజ్కియా యెహోవా మందిరములో కొట్లను సిద్ధపరచవలసినదని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

11. Then Hezekiah gave word to prepare chambers, in the house of Yahweh, and they prepared them;

12. వారు వాటిని సిద్ధపరచి ఏమియు అపహరింపకుండ కానుకలను పదియవ భాగములను ప్రతి ష్ఠితములుగా తేబడిన వస్తువులను లోపల చేర్చిరి; లేవీయు డైన కొనన్యా వాటిమీద విచారణకర్తగా నియమింపబడెను; అతని సహోదరుడైన షిమీ అతనికి సహకారిగా ఉండెను.

12. and brought in the heave-offering and the tithe and the hallowed things, faithfully, and, over them, as chief ruler, was Cononiah the Levite, and Shimei his brother, next;

13. మరియు యెహీయేలు అజజ్యాహు నహతు అశాహేలు యెరీమోతు యోజాబాదు ఎలీయేలు ఇస్మ క్యాహు మహతు బెనాయాలనువారు రాజైన హిజ్కియా వలనను, దేవుని మందిరమునకు అధిపతియైన అజర్యావలనను, తాము పొందిన ఆజ్ఞచొప్పున కొనన్యా చేతిక్రిందను, అతని సహోదరుడగు షిమీ చేతిక్రిందను కనిపెట్టువారై యుండిరి.

13. and Jehiel and Azaziah and Nahath and Asahel and Jerimoth and Jozabad, and Eliel and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, overseers under the direction of Cononiah and Shemei his brother, by the appointment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the chief ruler of the house of God.

14. తూర్పుతట్టు ద్వారమునొద్ద పాల కుడును ఇమ్నా కుమారుడునగు లేవీయుడైన కోరే యెహోవా కానుకలను అతిపరిశుద్ధమైనవాటిని పంచి పెట్టుటకు దేవునికి అర్పింపబడిన స్వేచ్ఛార్పణలమీద నియమింపబడెను.

14. And, Kore, son of Imnah the Levite, the door-keeper on the east, was over the freewill offerings of God, to give the heave-offering of Yahweh, and the most holy things.

15. అతని చేతిక్రింద ఏదెను మిన్యామీను యేషూవ షెమయా అమర్యా షెకన్యా అనువారు నమ్మకమైనవారు గనుక యాజకుల పట్టణములందు పిన్న పెద్దలైన తమ సహోదరులకు వంతులచొప్పున భాగము లిచ్చుటకు నియమింపబడిరి.

15. And, under his direction, were Eden and Miniamin and Jeshua and Shemaiah, Amariah and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in trust to give unto their brethren by courses, as the great so the small;

16. ఇదియుగాక గోత్రములలో మూడు సంవత్సరములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సు గలవారై జనసంఖ్య సరిచూడబడిన మగవారికందరికిని, వంతులచొప్పున సేవచేయుటకై ప్రతిదినము యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి వచ్చువారందరికిని,

16. besides registering them by males, from three years old and upward, unto every one that entered into the house of Yahweh, in the need of a day upon its day, by their service, in their watches, according to their courses:

17. ఇరువది సంవత్సర ములు మొదలుకొని అంతకు పైవయస్సు గలవారై వంతుల చొప్పున సేవచేయుటకు తమ తమ పితరుల వంశములచొప్పున యాజకులలో సరిచూడబడిన లేవీయులకు,

17. both the registering of the priests, by their ancestral houses, and the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, in their watches, in their courses;

18. అనగా నమ్మకమైనవారై తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనిన లేవీ యులకును, తమ పిల్లలతోను భార్యలతోను కుమారులతోను కుమార్తెలతోను

18. even to the registering of all their little ones, their wives and their sons and their daughters, unto all the convocation, for, in their trust, they hallowed themselves in holiness;

19. సమాజమంతటను సరిచూడబడిన వారికిని, ఆయా పట్టణములకు చేరిన గ్రామములలో నున్న అహరోను వంశస్థులైన యాజకులకును, వంతులు ఏర్పరచుటకు వారు నియమింపబడి యుండిరి. పేళ్లచేత చెప్పబడిన ఆ జనులు యాజకులలో పురుషులకందరికిని, లేవీయులలో వంశములచొప్పున సరిచూడబడిన వారికందరికిని వంతులు ఏర్పరచుటకు నియమింపబడిరి.

19. also unto the sons of Aaron the priests in the fields of the pasture land of their cities, in every several city, men who were expressed by name, to give portions to every male among the priests, and to all registered among the Levites.

20. హిజ్కియా యూదా దేశమంతటను ఈలాగున జరిగించి, తన దేవుడైన యెహోవా దృష్టికి అనుకూలముగాను యథార్థముగాను నమ్మకముగాను పనిచేయుచు వచ్చెను.

20. And Hezekiah did thus, throughout all Judah, and he did that which was good and right and faithful, before Yahweh his God.

21. తన దేవుని ఆశ్ర యించుటకై దేవుని మందిర సేవవిషయమందేమి ధర్మశాస్త్ర విషయమందేమి ధర్మమంతటివిషయమందేమి తాను ఆరంభించిన ప్రతి పని అతడు హృదయపూర్వకముగా జరిగించి వర్ధిల్లెను.

21. And, in all the work which he began in the service of the house of God and in the law and in the commandment, to seek unto his God, with all his heart, he wrought, and prospered.
