1. మనష్షే యేలనారంభించినప్పుడు పండ్రెండేండ్లవాడై యెరూషలేములో ఏబది యయిదు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను.

1. Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king of Judah. He was king for 55 years in Jerusalem.

2. ఇతడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యెదుటనుండి యెహోవా వెళ్ల గొట్టిన అన్యజనులు చేసిన హేయక్రియలను అనుసరించి, యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడునడత నడచెను.

2. Manasseh did what the Lord said was wrong. He followed the terrible and sinful ways of the nations that the Lord had forced out of the land before the Israelites.

3. ఇతడు తన తండ్రియైన హిజ్కియా పడగొట్టిన ఉన్నతస్థలములను తిరిగి కట్టించి, బయలు దేవతకు బలిపీఠములను నిలిపి, దేవతాస్తంభములను చేయించి, ఆకాశనక్షత్రము లన్నిటిని పూజించి కొలిచెను.

3. Manasseh rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had broken down. Manasseh built altars for the Baal gods and made Asherah poles. He bowed down to the constellations and worshiped those groups of stars.

4. మరియునా నామము ఎన్నటెన్నటికి ఉండునని యెరూషలేమునందు ఏ స్థలమునుగూర్చి యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చెనో అక్కడనున్న యెహోవా మందిరమందు అతడు బలిపీఠములను కట్టించెను.

4. Manasseh built altars for false gods in the Lord's Temple. The Lord said about the Temple, 'My name will be in Jerusalem forever.'

5. మరియు యెహోవా మందిరపు రెండు ఆవరణములలో అతడు ఆకాశనక్షత్ర సమూహమునకు బలిపీఠములను కట్టించెను.

5. He built altars for all the groups of stars in the two yards of the Lord's Temple.

6. బెన్‌హిన్నోము లోయయందు అతడు తన కుమారులను అగ్నిలోగుండ దాటించి, ముహూర్తములను విచారించుచు, మంత్రములను చిల్లంగితనమును వాడుకచేయు కర్ణపిశాచ ములతోను సోదెగాండ్రతోను సాంగత్యము చేయుచు, యెహోవా దృష్టికి బహుగా చెడునడత నడచుచు ఆయ నకు కోపము పుట్టించెను.

6. He also burned his own children for a sacrifice in the Valley of Ben Hinnom. He also used magic by doing soothsaying, divination, and sorcery. He talked with mediums and wizards. He did many things that the Lord said were wrong, and this made the Lord angry.

7. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్ర స్థానములన్నిటిలో నేను కోరుకొనిన యెరూషలేమునందు నా నామము నిత్యము ఉంచెదను,

7. Manasseh also made a statue of an idol and put it in God's Temple�the very same Temple that God had talked about to David and his son Solomon. God had said, 'I will put my name in this house and in Jerusalem�the city that I chose from all the cities in all the tribes�and my name will be there forever!

8. నేను మోషేద్వారా నియమించిన కట్టడలను విధులను ధర్మశాస్త్రమంతటిని అను సరించి నడచుకొనుటకై వారు జాగ్రత్తపడినయెడల, మీ పితరులకు నేను ఖాయపరచిన దేశమునుండి ఇశ్రా యేలీయులను నేను ఇక తొలగింపనని దావీదుతోను అతని కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనుతోను దేవుడు సెలవిచ్చిన మాటను లక్ష్యపెట్టక, ఆ మందిరమునందు మనష్షే తాను చేయించిన చెక్కుడు విగ్రహమును నిలిపెను.

8. I will not continue to keep the Israelites off the land that I chose to give to their ancestors. But they must obey everything I commanded them. The Israelites must obey all the laws, rules, and commands that I gave Moses to give to them.'

9. ఈ ప్రకారము మనష్షే యూదావారిని యెరూషలేము కాపురస్థులను మోసపుచ్చిన వాడై, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులయెదుట ఉండకుండ యెహోవా నశింపజేసిన అన్యజనులకంటెను వారు మరింత అక్రమ ముగా ప్రవర్తించునట్లు చేయుటకు కారకుడాయెను.

9. Manasseh encouraged the people of Judah and the people living in Jerusalem to do wrong. They were worse than the nations that were in the land before the Israelites�and the Lord destroyed those people.

10. యెహోవా మనష్షేకును అతని జనులకును వర్తమాన ములు పంపినను వారు చెవియొగ్గకపోయిరి.

10. The Lord spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they refused to listen.

11. కాబట్టి యెహోవా అష్షూరురాజుయొక్క సైన్యాధిపతులను వారి మీదికి రప్పించెను. మనష్షే తప్పించుకొని పోకుండ వారు అతని పట్టుకొని, గొలుసులతో బంధించి అతనిని బబులోనునకు తీసికొని పోయిరి.

11. So the Lord brought commanders from the king of Assyria's army to attack Judah. These commanders captured Manasseh and made him their prisoner. They put hooks in him and brass chains on his hands and took him to the country of Babylon.

12. అతడు శ్రమలో ఉన్నప్పుడు తన దేవుడైన యెహోవాను బతిమాలుకొని, తన పితరుల దేవుని సన్నిధిని తన్ను తాను బహుగా తగ్గించు కొని.

12. When these troubles came to him, Manasseh begged for help from the Lord his God. He humbled himself before the God of his ancestors.

13. ఆయనకు మొరలిడగా, ఆయన అతని విన్నపములను ఆలకించి యెరూషలేమునకు అతని రాజ్యములోనికి అతని తిరిగి తీసికొని వచ్చినప్పుడు యెహోవా దేవుడై యున్నాడని మనష్షే తెలిసికొనెను.

13. Manasseh prayed to God and begged God to help him. The Lord heard his begging and felt sorry for him, so the Lord let him return to Jerusalem and to his throne. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was the true God.

14. ఇదియైన తరువాత అతడు దావీదు పట్టణము బయట గిహోనుకు పడమరగా లోయయందు మత్స్యపు గుమ్మము వరకు ఓపెలు చుట్టును బహు ఎత్తుగల గోడను కట్టించెను. మరియు యూదా దేశములోని బలమైన పట్టణములన్నిటిలోను సేనాధిపతులను ఉంచెను.

14. After that happened, Manasseh built an outer wall for the City of David. This wall went to the west of Gihon Spring in Kidron Valley, to the entrance of the Fish Gate, and around the hill of Ophel. He made the wall very tall. Then he put officers in all the fortresses in Judah.

15. మరియు యెహోవా మందిరమునుండి అన్యుల దేవతలను విగ్రహమును తీసివేసి, యెరూషలేమునందును యెహోవా మందిర పర్వతము నందును తాను కట్టించిన బలిపీఠములన్నిటిని తీసి పట్టణము బయటికి వాటిని లాగివేయించెను.

15. Manasseh took away the strange idol gods, and he took the idol out of the Lord's Temple. He took away all the altars he had built on the Temple hill, and in Jerusalem. Manasseh threw all the altars out of the city of Jerusalem.

16. ఇదియుగాక అతడు యెహోవా బలిపీఠమును బాగుచేసి, దానిమీద సమాధాన బలులను కృతజ్ఞతార్పణలను అర్పించుచుఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాను సేవించుడని యూదా వారికి ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

16. Then he set up the Lord's altar and offered fellowship offerings and thank offerings on it. He gave a command for all the people of Judah to serve the Lord, the God of Israel.

17. అయినను జనులు ఉన్నత స్థలములయందు ఇంకను బలులు అర్పించుచు వచ్చిరిగాని ఆ యర్పణలను తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నామమునకే చేసిరి.

17. The people continued to offer sacrifices at the high places, but their sacrifices were only to the Lord their God.

18. మనష్షే చేసిన యితర కార్యములను గూర్చియు, అతడు దేవునికి పెట్టిన మొరలను గూర్చియు, ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా పేరట అతనితో పలికిన దీర్ఘదర్శులు చెప్పిన మాటలను గూర్చియు, ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది.

18. Everything else Manasseh did, his prayer to his God and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of the Lord, the God of Israel, are all written in the book, The Official Records of the Kings of Israel.

19. Manasseh's prayer and how God listened and felt sorry for him are written in The Book of the Seers. Also all his sins, the wrongs he did before he humbled himself, and the places where he built high places and set up the Asherah poles are written in The Book of the Seers.

20. మనష్షే తన పితరులతోకూడ నిద్రించి తన నగరునందు పాతిపెట్టబడెను; అతని కుమారుడైన ఆమోను అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

20. So Manasseh died and was buried with his ancestors. The people buried Manasseh in his own palace. Manasseh's son Amon became the new king in his place.

21. ఆమోను ఏలనారంభించినప్పుడు ఇరువది రెండేండ్ల వాడై యెరూషలేములో రెండు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను.

21. Amon was 22 years old when he became king of Judah. He was king for two years in Jerusalem.

22. అతడు తన తండ్రియైన మనష్షే నడచినట్లు యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడునడత నడచెను;తన తండ్రియైన మనష్షే చేయిం చిన చెక్కుడు విగ్రహములన్నిటికి బలులు అర్పించుచు పూజించుచు

22. Amon did evil before the Lord, just as his father Manasseh had done. Amon offered sacrifices for all the carved idols and statues that Manasseh his father made. Amon worshiped those idols.

23. తన తండ్రియైన మనష్షే గుణపడినట్లు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని పశ్చాత్తప్తుడు కాకను గుణపడకను, ఈ ఆమోను అంతకంతకు ఎక్కువ ద్రోహకార్యములను చేయుచు వచ్చెను.

23. Amon did not humble himself in front of the Lord like Manasseh his father humbled himself. But Amon sinned more and more.

24. అతని సేవకులు అతనిమీద కుట్రచేసి అతని నగరునందే అతని చంపగా

24. His servants made plans against him. They killed Amon in his own house.

25. దేశ జనులు ఆమోను రాజుమీద కుట్ర చేసినవారినందరిని హతముచేసి అతని కుమారుడైన యోషీయాను అతని స్థానమందు రాజుగా నియమించిరి.

25. But the people of Judah killed all the servants who planned against King Amon. Then the people chose Amon's son Josiah to be the new king.
