1. రాజైన అర్తహషస్త ఏలుబడి కాలమందు బబులోను దేశమునుండి నాతోకూడ వచ్చిన యింటి పెద్దల వంశావళి.

1. These are the heads of their fathers that were named, which went up with me from Babilon, what time as king Arthaxerses reigned.

2. ఫీనెహాసు వంశములో గెర్షోమును, ఈతామారు వంశములో దానియేలును, దావీదు వంశములో హట్టూషును,

2. Of the children of Phinehes, Gersom: of the children of Ithamar, Daniel: of the children of David, Hatus:

3. షెకన్యా పరోషుల వంశములలో జెకర్యాయు వంశావళికి నూట ఏబదిమంది పురుషులును లెక్కింపబడిరి.

3. Of the children of Zecaniah, of the children of Pharos, Zachary, and with him were numbered an hundredth and fifty men.(of the childre of Pareos, Zachary, and the men childre nombred with him, an hundreth and fiftye)

4. పహత్మోయాబు వంశములో జెరహ్య కుమారుడైన ఎల్యో యేనైయు రెండు వందలమంది పురుషులును

4. Of the children of Pahath Moab, Elioenai the son of Zarakiah, and with him two hundredth men.(males)

5. షెకన్యా వంశములో యహజీయేలు కుమారుడును మూడువందల మంది పురుషులును

5. Of the children of Zechaniah the son of Jahasiel, and with him three hundredth men.(males)

6. ఆదీను వంశములో యోనాతాను కుమారుడైన ఎబెదును ఏబదిమంది పురుషులును

6. Of the children also of Adin Abed the son of Jonathan, and with him fifty men.(males)

7. ఏలాము వంశములో అతల్యా కుమారుడైన యెషయాయు డెబ్బది మంది పురుషులును

7. Of the children of Elam, Jesaiah the son of Athaliah, and with him seventy men.(males)

8. షెఫట్య వంశములో మిఖాయేలు కుమారుడైన జెబద్యాయు ఎనుబదిమంది పురుషులును

8. Of the children of Saphatia, Zabadiah the son of Michael, and with him fourscore men.(males)

9. యోవాబు వంశములో యెహీయేలు కుమారుడైన ఓబ ద్యాయు రెండువందల పదునెనిమిదిమంది పురుషులును

9. Of the children of Joab, Obadiah the son of Jehiel, and with him two hundredth and eighteen men.(men children)

10. షెలోమీతు వంశములో యోసిప్యా కుమారుడును నూట అరువదిమంది పురుషులును

10. Of the children of Selomith, the son of Josphiah, and with him an hundredth and three men.(three score males)

11. బేబై వంశములో బేబై కుమారుడైన జెకర్యాయు ఇరువది ఎనిమిదిమంది పురుషు లును

11. Of the children of Bebai, Zachary the son of Bebai, and with him eight and twenty men.(males)

12. అజ్గాదు వంశములో హక్కాటాను కుమారుడైన యోహానానును నూట పదిమంది పురుషులును

12. Of the children of Asgad, Jehanan the son of Hakatan,(the youngest sonne) and with him an hundredth and ten men.(males)

13. అదోనీ కాముయొక్క చిన్న కుమారులలో ఎలీపేలెటును యెహీ యేలును షెమయాయు అరువదిమంది పురుషులును

13. Of the last children of Adonicam, and these were their names: Eliphelet, Jehiel, and Samaiah, and with them threescore men.(males)

14. బిగ్వయి వంశములో ఊతైయును జబ్బూదును డెబ్బది మంది పురుషులును.

14. Of the children of Begui, Uthai, and Zabud, and with them seventy men.(males)

15. వీరిని నేను అహవా వైపునకు పారు నదియొద్దకు సమకూర్చితిని. అచ్చట మేము మూడు దిన ములు గుడార ములలో ఉంటిమి. అంతలో నేను జనులను యాజకులను తనికీ చూడగా లేవీయుడొకడును నాకు కనబడలేదు.

15. And I gathered them together by the water that runneth(renneth) toward Ahava, and there abode we three days. And when I looked among the people and the priests, I found no Levites there.

16. అప్పుడు నేను పెద్దలైన ఎలీయెజెరు అరీయేలు షెమయా ఎల్నాతాను యారీబు ఎల్నాతాను నాతాను జెకర్యా మెషుల్లాము అను వారిని, ఉపదేశకులగు యోయారీబు ఎల్నాతానులను పిలువనంపించి

16. Then sent I Elieser, Ariel, Semeiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zachary, and Mosollam the rulers, and Joiarib, and Elnathan the teachers,

17. కాసిప్యా అను స్థల మందుండు అధికారియైన ఇద్దోయొద్దకు వారిని పంపి, మా దేవుని మందిరమునకు పరిచారకులను మాయొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చునట్లుగా కాసిప్యా అను స్థలమందుండు ఇద్దోతోను అతని బంధువులైన నెతీనీయులతోను చెప్పవలసిన మాటలను వారికి తెలియజెప్పితిని.

17. and those sent I unto Edo the chiefest at Casphia, that they should fetch us ministers for the house of our God, and I told them what they should say unto Edo and to his brethren the Nethinims, at Casphia.

18. మా దేవుని కరుణా హస్తము మాకు తోడుగా ఉన్నందున వారు ప్రజ్ఞావంతుడైన ఒకనిని షేరేబ్యాను అతని కుమారులను సహోదరులను, పదు నెనిమిదిమందిని తోడుకొని వచ్చిరి. ఆ ప్రజ్ఞావంతుడు మహలి కుమారులలో ఒకడు; ఈ మహలి ఇశ్రాయేలునకు పుట్టిన లేవి వంశస్థుడు.

18. And (according to the good hand of our God upon us) they brought us a wise man from among the children of Moholi the son of Levi the son of Israel, even Sarebia, with his sons and brethren, eighteen.

19. హషబ్యాను అతనితోకూడ మెరారీయుడగు యెషయాను అతని బంధువులును వారి కుమారులునైన యిరువదిమందిని వారు తోడుకొని వచ్చిరి.

19. And Hasabia, and with him Jesaiah of the children of Merari, with his brethren and their sons, twenty.

20. మరియు లేవీయులు చేయవలసిన సేవలో తోడ్పడుటకై దావీదును అధిపతులును నిర్ణయించిన నెతీనీయులలో రెండువందల ఇరువదిమంది వచ్చిరి. వీరందరును పేర్లు ఉదాహరింపబడి నియమింపబడినవారు.

20. And of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes gave to minister unto the Levites, two hundredth and twenty, all named by name.

21. అప్పుడు దేవుని సన్నిధిని మమ్మును మేము దుఃఖపరచుకొని, మాకును మా చిన్న వారికిని మా ఆస్తికిని శుభ ప్రయాణము కలుగునట్లుగా ఆయనను వేడుకొనుటకు అహవా నదిదగ్గర ఉప వాసముండుడని ప్రకటించితిని.

21. And even there at the water beside Ahaua, caused I a fasting to be proclaimed, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and our children and all our substance.

22. మేలు కలుగజేయుటకై ఆయనను ఆశ్రయించు వారికందరికిని మా దేవుని హస్తము తోడుగా ఉండునుగాని, ఆయన హస్తమును ఆయన ఉగ్రతయు ఆయనను విసర్జించు వారందరిమీదికి వచ్చునని మేము రాజుతో చెప్పియుంటిమి గనుక మార్గ మందున్న శత్రువుల విషయమై మాకు సహాయము చేయునట్లు కాల్బలమును రౌతులును రాజునొద్ద కావలెనని మనవి చేయుటకు సిగ్గు నాకు తోచెను.

22. For I was ashamed to require of the king, soldiers and horsemen, to help us against the enemy in the way. For we had said unto the king: The hand of our God is upon all them that seek him in goodness,(is for the best upon all them that seek him) and his violence and wrath is upon all them that forsake him.

23. మేముఉపవాసముండి ఆ సంగతినిబట్టి మా దేవుని వేడుకొనగా ఆయన మా మనవిని అంగీకరించెను

23. So we fasted, and sought this at our God, and he heard us.

24. గనుక నేను యాజ కులలోనుండి ప్రధానులైన పండ్రెండు మందిని, అనగా షేరేబ్యాను హషబ్యాను వీరి బంధువులలో పదిమందిని ఏర్పరచి

24. And I took out twelve of the chief priests, Sarabia and Hasabia, and ten of their brethren with them,

25. మా దేవుని మందిరమును ప్రతిష్ఠించుట విషయ ములో రాజును అతని మంత్రులును అధిపతులును అక్కడ నున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును ప్రతిష్ఠించిన వెండిబంగార ములను ఉపకరణములను తూచి వారికి అప్పగించితిని.

25. and weighed them there the silver and gold and vessels for the heave offering unto the house of our God, which the king and his lords of his counsel and princes, and all Israel that were at hand, had given to the heave offering:

26. వెయ్యిన్ని మూడువందల మణుగుల వెండిని రెండువందల మణుగుల వెండి ఉపకరణములను, రెండువందల మణుగుల బంగారమును,

26. And there weighed I them under their hand six hundredth and fifty talents of silver, and in silver vessel an hundredth talents, and in gold an hundredth talents,

27. ఏడువేల తులములుగల యిరువది బంగా రపు గిన్నెలను, బంగారమంత వెలగల పరిశుద్ధమైన రెండు రాగి పాత్రలను తూచి

27. twenty cups of gold of a thousand drams,(guldens) and two costly ornaments of good brass, as clear as gold,

28. వారిచేతికి అప్పగించిమీరు యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠింపబడినవారు, పాత్రలును ప్రతి ష్ఠితములైనవి. ఈ వెండి బంగారములును మీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు స్వేచ్ఛార్పణలై యున్నవి.

28. and said unto them: Ye are holy unto the LORD, therefore are these vessels holy also, and so is the silver and the gold that is given of a good will unto the LORD God of your fathers:

29. కాబట్టి మీరు యెరూషలేములో యెహోవా మందిరపు ఖజానా గదులలో, యాజకులయొక్కయు లేవీయుల యొక్కయు ఇశ్రాయేలు పెద్దలయొక్కయు ప్రధానులైన వారి యెదుట, వాటిని తూచి అప్పగించు వరకు వాటిని భద్రముగా ఉంచుడని వారితో చెప్పితిని.

29. Watch ye therefore and keep it, till ye weigh it down before the chief priests and Levites, and ancient fathers of Israel at Jerusalem in the chests of the house of the LORD.

30. కాబట్టి యాజకులును లేవీయులును వాటి యెత్తు ఎంతో తెలిసికొని, యెరూషలేములోనున్న మన దేవుని మందిరమునకు కొనిపోవుటకై ఆ వెండి బంగారములను పాత్రలను తీసికొనిరి.

30. Then took the priests and the Levites that weighed silver and gold and vessel, to bring it to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

31. మేము మొదటి నెల పండ్రెండవ దినమందు యెరూష లేమునకు వచ్చుటకై అహవా నదినుండి బయలుదేరగా, మా దేవుని హస్తము మాకు తోడుగా నుండి, శత్రువుల చేతిలోనుండియు మార్గమందు పొంచియున్నవారి చేతిలో నుండియు మమ్మును తప్పించినందున

31. So we brake up, from the water of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and delivered us from the hand of the enemies and prevy waitings by the way.

32. మేము యెరూష లేమునకు వచ్చి మూడుదినములు అక్కడ బసచేసితివిు.

32. And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.

33. నాలుగవ దినమున వెండి బంగారములును పాత్రలును మా దేవుని మందిరమందు యాజకుడైన ఊరియా కుమారుడైన మెరేమోతుచేత తూనిక వేయబడెను. అతనితో కూడ ఫీనెహాసు కుమారుడైన ఎలియాజరు ఉండెను; వీరితో లేవీయులైన యేషూవ కుమారుడైన యోజాబాదును బిన్నూయి కుమారుడైన నోవద్యాయును కూడనుండిరి.

33. But on the fourth day was the silver and gold, and vessel weighed in the house of our God under the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest, and with him Eleazar the son of Phinehes, and with them Josabad the son of Jesua, and Noadiah the son of Benoi the Levites,

34. సంఖ్యచొప్పునను ఎత్తుచొప్పునను అన్నిటిని సరిచూచిన తరువాత వాటి యెత్తు ఎంతైనది లెక్కలలో వ్రాసిరి.

34. according to the number and weight of every one. And the weight was all written up at the same time.

35. మరియు చెరలోనికి కొనిపోబడిన వారికి పుట్టి చెరనుండి విడుదలనొంది తిరిగి వచ్చినవారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవునికి దహన బలులు అర్పించిరి. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరికొరకు పండ్రెండు ఎడ్లను తొంబది యారు పొట్టేళ్లను డెబ్బది యేడు గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలను, పాపపరిహారార్థబలిగా పండ్రెండు మేకపోతులను తెచ్చి అన్నిటిని దహనబలిగా యెహోవాకు అర్పించిరి.

35. And the children of the captivity, which were come out of prison, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel: twelve bullocks for all Israel, six and ninety rams, seven and seventy lambs, twelve goats for a sinoffering, all to the burnt offering of the LORD.

36. వారు రాజుయొక్క నిర్ణయములను రాజుయొక్క సేనాధిపతులకును నది యివతలనున్న అధికారులకును అప్పగించిన తరువాత వీరు జనులకును దేవుని మందిరపు పనికిని సహాయము చేసిరి.

36. And they delivered the king's commission unto the king's officers, and to the captains(Debytes) on this side the water. And they promoted the people and the house of God.
