1. When the wall was built and I had set up the doors, and the gate-keepers and singers and Levites were chosen,

7. These people returned with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, and Baanah. The number of the men of Israel:

43. The Levites: 74 sons of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, of the sons of Hodevah.

44. The singers: 148 sons of Asaph.

45. The gate-keepers: 138 sons of Shallum, of Ater, of Talmon, of Akkub, of Hatita, and of Shobai.

46. The servants of the house of God: the sons of Ziha, the sons of Hasupha, the sons of Tabbaoth,

55. the sons of Barkos, the sons of Sisera, the sons of Temah,

56. సొలొమాెెను దాసుల వంశస్థులు సొటయి వంశస్థులు

56. the sons of Neziah, and the sons of Hatipha.

57. సోపెరెతు వంశస్థులు పెరూదా వంశస్థులు

57. The sons of Solomon's servants: the sons of Sotai, the sons of Sophereth, the sons of Perida,

58. యహలా వంశస్థులు దర్కోను వంశస్థులు గిద్దేలు వంశస్థులు

58. the sons of Jaala, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel,

59. షెఫట్య వంశస్థులు హట్టీలు వంశస్థులు జెబాయీయుల సంబంధమైన పొకెరెతు వంశస్థులు ఆమోను వంశస్థులు.

59. the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pocherethhazzebaim, and the sons of Amon.

60. ఈ నెతీనీయులందరును సొలొమోను దాసుల వంశస్థులును మూడువందల తొంబది యిద్దరు.

60. All the servants in the house of God and the sons of Solomon's servants were 392.

61. తేల్మెలహు తేల్హర్షా కెరూబు అదోను ఇమ్మేరు మొద లైన స్థలములనుండి వచ్చినవారు తాము ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సంబంధులో కారో తెలుపుటకు తమ యింటి పేరులైనను తమ వంశావళి పత్రికయైనను కనుపరచలేకపోయిరి.

61. Now these were the men who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer. But they were not able to prove their fathers' houses or that they were children of Israel:

62. వారెవరనగా దెలాయ్యా వంశస్థులు టోబీయా వంశస్థులు నెరోదా వంశస్థులు వీరు ఆరువందల నలువది యిద్దరు

62. 642 sons of Delaiah, Tobiah, and Nekoda.

63. హబాయ్యా వంశస్థులు హక్కోజు వంశస్థులు బర్జిల్లయి వంశస్థులు, అనగా గిలాదీయులైన బర్జిల్లయి కుమార్తెలలో ఒకతెను పెండ్లి చేసికొని వారి పేరుచేత పిలువబడిన బర్జిల్లయి వంశస్థులును యాజక సంతానులు.

63. And the sons of the religious leaders: the sons of Hobaiah, Hakkoz, and Barzillai, who had married one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called by their name.

64. వీరి వంశా వళులనుబట్టి యెంచబడినవారిలో వారి పద్దు పుస్తకమును వెదకగా అది కనబడకపోయెను; కాగా వారు అపవిత్రు లుగా ఎంచబడి యాజకులలో ఉండకుండ వేరుపరచబడిరి.

64. These men looked for their names among the names of all the families, but could not find them. So they were thought of as being unclean, and were not allowed to work as religious leaders.

65. కాగా అధికారిఊరీము తుమీ్మము అనువాటిని ధరించు కొని ఒక యాజకుడు ఏర్పడువరకు అతి పరిశుద్ధవస్తువులను మీరు తినకూడదని వారితో చెప్పెను.

65. And the leader told them that they should not eat from the most holy things until a religious leader learned God's will by the Urim and Thummin.

66. సమాజకులందరును నలువది రెండువేల మూడువందల అరువదిమంది.

66. There were 42,360 people in all,

67. వీరు గాక వీరి పని వారును పనికత్తెలును ఏడు వేల మూడు వందల ముప్పది యేడుగురును, గాయకులలో స్త్రీ పురు షులు రెండువందల నలువది యయిదుగురునై ఉండిరి.

67. besides the 7,337 men and women servants, and 245 singing men and women.

68. వారి గుఱ్ఱములు ఏడువందల ముప్పది ఆరును, వారి కంచర గాడిదలు రెండువందల నలువది యయిదును

68. They had 736 horses, 245 mules,

69. వారి ఒంటెలు నాలుగువందల ముప్పది యయిదును వారి గాడిదలు ఆరు వేల ఏడువందల ఇరువదియునై యుండెను.

69. 435 camels, and 6,720 donkeys.

70. పెద్దలలో ప్రధానులైన కొందరు పనికి కొంత సహా యము చేసిరి. అధికారి ఖజానాలో నూట ఇరువది తులముల బంగారమును ఏబది పళ్లెములను ఏడువందల ముప్పది యాజక వస్త్రములను వేసి యిచ్చెను.

70. Some from among the heads of the family groups gave to the work. The ruler gave 1,000 gold pieces, fifty deep dishes, and 530 sets of clothing for the religious leaders.

71. మరియు పెద్దలలో ప్రధానులైనవారు కొందరు ఖజానాలో నూట నలువది తులముల బంగారమును పదునాలుగు లక్షల తుల ముల వెండిని వేసిరి.

71. And some of the leaders of family groups gave 20,000 gold pieces and 2,200 silver pieces.

72. మిగిలినవారును రెండువందల నలువది తులముల బంగారమును రెండువందల నలువది లక్షల తుల ముల వెండిని అరువదియేడు యాజక వస్త్రములను ఇచ్చిరి.

72. The rest of the people gave 20,000 gold pieces, 2,000 silver pieces, and 67 sets of clothing for the religious leaders.

73. అప్పుడు యాజకులు లేవీయులు ద్వారపాలకులు గాయ కులు జనులలో కొందరును, నెతీనీయులు ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లందరును, తమ పట్టణములయందు నివాసము చేసిరి.

73. Now the religious leaders, the Levites, the gate-keepers, the singers, some of the people, the servants in the house of the Lord, and all Israel, lived in their cities. When the seventh month had come, the sons of Israel were in their cities.
