1. అప్పుడు ఎలీహు మరల ఈలాగు చెప్పసాగెను

1. Moreover Elihu answered and said,

2. జ్ఞానులారా, నా మాటలు వినుడి అనుభవశాలులారా, నాకు చెవియొగ్గుడి

2. Hear my words, ye wise [men]; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

3. అంగిలి ఆహారమును రుచి చూచునట్లు చెవి మాటలను పరీక్షించును.

3. For the ear trieth words, as the palate tasteth food.

4. న్యాయమైనదేదో విచారించి చూతము రండి మేలైనదేదో మనంతట మనము విచారించి తెలిసి కొందము రండి.

4. Let us choose for ourselves what is right; let us know among ourselves what is good!

5. నేను నీతిమంతుడను దేవుడు నా పట్ల న్యాయము తప్పెను

5. For Job hath said, I am righteous, and *God hath taken away my judgment:

6. న్యాయవంతుడనై యుండియు నేను అబద్దికునిగా ఎంచబడుచున్నాను నేను తిరుగుబాటు చేయకపోయినను నాకు మానజాలని గాయము కలిగెనని యోబు అనుచున్నాడు.

6. Should I lie against my right? My wound is incurable without transgression.

7. యోబువంటి మానవుడెవడు? అతడు మంచి నీళ్లవలె తిరస్కారమును పానముచేయుచున్నాడు.

7. What man is like Job? he drinketh up scorning like water,

8. అతడు చెడుతనము చేయువారికి చెలికాడాయెను భక్తిహీనులకు సహవాసి ఆయెను.

8. And goeth in company with workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.

9. నరులు దేవునితో సహవాసము చేయుట వారి కేమాత్రమును ప్రయోజనకరము కాదని అతడు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నాడు.

9. For he hath said, It profiteth not a man if he delight himself in God.

10. విజ్ఞానముగల మనుష్యులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించుడి దేవుడు అన్యాయము చేయుట అసంభవము. సర్వశక్తుడు దుష్కార్యము చేయుట అసంభవము

10. Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: Far be wickedness from *God, and wrong from the Almighty!

11. నరుల క్రియలకు తగినట్టుగా ఫలము ఆయన వారి కిచ్చును అందరికి వారి వారి మార్గములనుబట్టి వారికి ఫల మిచ్చును.

11. For a man's work will he render to him, and cause every one to find according to [his] way.

12. దేవుడు ఏ మాత్రమును దుష్కార్యము చేయడు సర్వశక్తుడు న్యాయము తప్పడు.

12. Yea, surely, *God acteth not wickedly, and the Almighty perverteth not judgment.

13. ఎవడైన భూమిని ఆయనకు అప్పగింతపెట్టెనా? ఎవడైన సర్వప్రపంచ భారమును ఆయన కప్పగించెనా?

13. Who hath entrusted to him the earth? and who hath disposed the whole world?

14. ఆయన తన మనస్సు తనమీదనే ఉంచుకొనిన యెడల తన శ్వాసనిశ్వాసములను తనయొద్దకు తిరిగి తీసికొనిన యెడల

14. If he only thought of himself, [and] gathered unto him his spirit and his breath,

15. శరీరులందరు ఏకముగా నశించెదరు నరులు మరల ధూళియై పోవుదురు.

15. All flesh would expire together, and man would return to the dust.

16. కావున దీని విని వివేచించుము నా మాటల నాలకింపుము.

16. If now [thou hast] understanding, hear this: give ear to the voice of my words!

17. న్యాయమును ద్వేషించువాడు లోకము నేలునా? న్యాయసంపన్నుడైన వానిమీద నేరము మోపుదువా?

17. Should he that hateth right indeed govern? and wilt thou condemn the All-just?

18. నీవు పనికిమాలినవాడవని రాజుతోనైనను మీరు దుష్టులని ప్రధానులతోనైనను అనవచ్చునా?

18. Shall one say to a king, Belial? to nobles, Wicked?

19. రాజులయెడల పక్షపాతము చూపనివానితోను బీదలకన్న ధనముగలవారిని ఎక్కువగా చూడని వాని తోను ఆలాగు పలుకుట తగునా? వారందరు ఆయన నిర్మించినవారు కారా?
యాకోబు 2:1

19. [How then to him] that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich man more than the poor? for they are all the work of his hands.

20. వారు నిమిషములో చనిపోవుదురు మధ్యరాత్రి ప్రజలు కల్లోలమునొంది నాశనమగుదురు బలవంతులు దైవికముగా కొనిపోబడెదరు.

20. In a moment they die, even at midnight the people are convulsed and pass away; and the strong are taken away without hand.

21. ఆయన దృష్టి నరుల మార్గములమీద నుంచబడియున్నది ఆయన వారి నడకలన్నియు కనిపెట్టి చూచుచున్నాడు.

21. For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his steps.

22. దుష్‌క్రియలు చేయువారు దాగుకొనుటకు చీకటియైనను మరణాంధకారమైనను లేదు.

22. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

23. ఒకడు న్యాయవిమర్శలోనికి రాకముందు బహుకాలము అతనిని విచారణచేయుట దేవునికి అగత్యము లేదు.

23. For he doth not long consider a man, to bring him before *God in judgment.

24. విచారణ లేకుండనే బలవంతులను ఆయన నిర్మూలము చేయుచున్నాడు వారి స్థానమున ఇతరులను నియమించుచున్నాడు.

24. He breaketh in pieces mighty men without inquiry, and setteth others in their stead;

25. వారి క్రియలను ఆయన తెలిసికొనుచున్నాడు రాత్రియందు ఆయన నాశనము కలుగజేయగా వారు నలుగగొట్టబడుదురు.

25. Since he knoweth their actions; and he overthroweth [them] in the night, and they are crushed.

26. దుష్టులని బహిరంగముగానే ఆయన వారిని శిక్షించును.

26. He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others,

27. ఏలయనగా వారు ఆయనను అనుసరించుట మానిరి ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలలో దేనినైనను లక్ష్యపెట్టకపోయిరి.

27. Because they have turned back from him, and would consider none of his ways;

28. బీదల మొఱ్ఱను ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చునట్లు చేసిరి దీనుల మొఱ్ఱను ఆయనకు వినబడునట్లు చేసిరి.

28. So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.

29. ఆయన సమాధానము కలుగజేసినయెడల శిక్ష విధింప గలవాడెవడు?ఆయన తన ముఖమును దాచుకొనినయెడల ఆయనను చూడగలవాడెవడు? అది అనేకులను గూర్చినదైనను ఒకటే, ఒకని గూర్చిన దైనను ఒకటే

29. When he giveth quietness, who then will disturb? and when he hideth [his] face, who shall behold him? and this towards a nation, or towards a man alike;

30. భక్తిహీనులు రాజ్యపరిపాలన చేయకుండునట్లు వారు ప్రజలను చిక్కించుకొనకుండునట్లు బలవంతులను ఆయన నిర్మూలము చేయుచున్నాడు

30. That the ungodly man reign not, that the people be not ensnared.

31. ఒకడునేను శిక్షనొందితిని నేను ఇకను పాపము చేయను

31. For hath he said unto *God, I bear [chastisement], I will not offend;

32. నాకు తెలియనిదానిని నాకు నేర్పుము నేను దుష్కార్యము చేసియున్న యెడల ఇకను చేయనని దేవునితో చెప్పునా?

32. What I see not, teach thou me; if I have done wrong, I will do so no more?

33. నీకిష్టము వచ్చినట్లు ఆయన ప్రతికారముచేయునా? లేనియెడల నీవుందువా? నేను కాదు నీవేనిశ్చయింపవలెను గనుక నీవు ఎరిగిన దానిని పలుకుము.

33. Shall he recompense according to thy mind? for thou hast refused [his judgment]; for thou so choosest, and not I; speak then what thou knowest.

34. వివేచనగలవారు జ్ఞానముగలిగి నా మాట వినువారు నాతో నీలాగు పలుకుదురు

34. Men of understanding will say to me, and a wise man who heareth me:

35. యోబు తెలివిమాలిన మాటలాడుచున్నాడు. అతని మాటలు బుద్ధిహీనమైనవి

35. Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were not with intelligence.

36. దుష్టులవలె యోబు ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చినందున అతడు తుదముట్ట శోధింపబడవలెనని నేనెంతో కోరుచున్నాను.

36. Would that Job may be tried unto the end, because of [his] answers after the manner of evil men!

37. అతడు తన పాపమునకు తోడుగా ద్రోహము కూర్చు కొనుచున్నాడు మనయెదుట చప్పట్లుకొట్టి దేవునిమీద కాని మాటలు పెంచుచున్నాడు.

37. For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth [his hands] among us, and multiplieth his words against *God.
