2. జ్ఞానులారా, నా మాటలు వినుడి అనుభవశాలులారా, నాకు చెవియొగ్గుడి

2. "So, my fine friends--listen to me, and see what you think of this.

3. అంగిలి ఆహారమును రుచి చూచునట్లు చెవి మాటలను పరీక్షించును.

3. Isn't it just common sense-- as common as the sense of taste--

4. న్యాయమైనదేదో విచారించి చూతము రండి మేలైనదేదో మనంతట మనము విచారించి తెలిసి కొందము రండి.

4. To put our heads together and figure out what's going on here?

5. నేను నీతిమంతుడను దేవుడు నా పట్ల న్యాయము తప్పెను

5. "We've all heard Job say, 'I'm in the right, but God won't give me a fair trial.

6. న్యాయవంతుడనై యుండియు నేను అబద్దికునిగా ఎంచబడుచున్నాను నేను తిరుగుబాటు చేయకపోయినను నాకు మానజాలని గాయము కలిగెనని యోబు అనుచున్నాడు.

6. When I defend myself, I'm called a liar to my face. I've done nothing wrong, and I get punished anyway.'

7. యోబువంటి మానవుడెవడు? అతడు మంచి నీళ్లవలె తిరస్కారమును పానముచేయుచున్నాడు.

7. Have you ever heard anything to beat this? Does nothing faze this man Job?

8. అతడు చెడుతనము చేయువారికి చెలికాడాయెను భక్తిహీనులకు సహవాసి ఆయెను.

8. Do you think he's spent too much time in bad company, hanging out with the wrong crowd,

9. నరులు దేవునితో సహవాసము చేయుట వారి కేమాత్రమును ప్రయోజనకరము కాదని అతడు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నాడు.

9. So that now he's parroting their line: 'It doesn't pay to try to please God'?

10. విజ్ఞానముగల మనుష్యులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించుడి దేవుడు అన్యాయము చేయుట అసంభవము. సర్వశక్తుడు దుష్కార్యము చేయుట అసంభవము

10. "You're veterans in dealing with these matters; certainly we're of one mind on this. It's impossible for God to do anything evil; no way can the Mighty One do wrong.

11. నరుల క్రియలకు తగినట్టుగా ఫలము ఆయన వారి కిచ్చును అందరికి వారి వారి మార్గములనుబట్టి వారికి ఫల మిచ్చును.

11. He makes us pay for exactly what we've done--no more, no less. Our chickens always come home to roost.

12. దేవుడు ఏ మాత్రమును దుష్కార్యము చేయడు సర్వశక్తుడు న్యాయము తప్పడు.

12. It's impossible for God to do anything wicked, for the Mighty One to subvert justice.

13. ఎవడైన భూమిని ఆయనకు అప్పగింతపెట్టెనా? ఎవడైన సర్వప్రపంచ భారమును ఆయన కప్పగించెనా?

13. He's the one who runs the earth! He cradles the whole world in his hand!

14. ఆయన తన మనస్సు తనమీదనే ఉంచుకొనిన యెడల తన శ్వాసనిశ్వాసములను తనయొద్దకు తిరిగి తీసికొనిన యెడల

14. If he decided to hold his breath,

15. శరీరులందరు ఏకముగా నశించెదరు నరులు మరల ధూళియై పోవుదురు.

15. every man, woman, and child would die for lack of air.

16. కావున దీని విని వివేచించుము నా మాటల నాలకింపుము.

16. "So, Job, use your head; this is all pretty obvious.

17. న్యాయమును ద్వేషించువాడు లోకము నేలునా? న్యాయసంపన్నుడైన వానిమీద నేరము మోపుదువా?

17. Can someone who hates order, keep order? Do you dare condemn the righteous, mighty God?

18. నీవు పనికిమాలినవాడవని రాజుతోనైనను మీరు దుష్టులని ప్రధానులతోనైనను అనవచ్చునా?

18. Doesn't God always tell it like it is, exposing corrupt rulers as scoundrels and criminals?

19. రాజులయెడల పక్షపాతము చూపనివానితోను బీదలకన్న ధనముగలవారిని ఎక్కువగా చూడని వాని తోను ఆలాగు పలుకుట తగునా? వారందరు ఆయన నిర్మించినవారు కారా?

19. Does he play favorites with the rich and famous and slight the poor? Isn't he equally responsible to everybody?

20. వారు నిమిషములో చనిపోవుదురు మధ్యరాత్రి ప్రజలు కల్లోలమునొంది నాశనమగుదురు బలవంతులు దైవికముగా కొనిపోబడెదరు.

20. Don't people who deserve it die without notice? Don't wicked rulers tumble to their doom? When the so-called great ones are wiped out, we know God is working behind the scenes.

21. ఆయన దృష్టి నరుల మార్గములమీద నుంచబడియున్నది ఆయన వారి నడకలన్నియు కనిపెట్టి చూచుచున్నాడు.

21. "He has his eyes on every man and woman. He doesn't miss a trick.

22. దుష్‌క్రియలు చేయువారు దాగుకొనుటకు చీకటియైనను మరణాంధకారమైనను లేదు.

22. There is no night dark enough, no shadow deep enough, to hide those who do evil.

23. ఒకడు న్యాయవిమర్శలోనికి రాకముందు బహుకాలము అతనిని విచారణచేయుట దేవునికి అగత్యము లేదు.

23. God doesn't need to gather any more evidence; their sin is an open-and-shut case.

24. విచారణ లేకుండనే బలవంతులను ఆయన నిర్మూలము చేయుచున్నాడు వారి స్థానమున ఇతరులను నియమించుచున్నాడు.

24. He deposes the so-called high and mighty without asking questions, and replaces them at once with others.

25. వారి క్రియలను ఆయన తెలిసికొనుచున్నాడు రాత్రియందు ఆయన నాశనము కలుగజేయగా వారు నలుగగొట్టబడుదురు.

25. Nobody gets by with anything; overnight, judgment is signed, sealed, and delivered.

26. దుష్టులని బహిరంగముగానే ఆయన వారిని శిక్షించును.

26. He punishes the wicked for their wickedness out in the open where everyone can see it,

27. ఏలయనగా వారు ఆయనను అనుసరించుట మానిరి ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలలో దేనినైనను లక్ష్యపెట్టకపోయిరి.

27. Because they quit following him, no longer even thought about him or his ways.

28. బీదల మొఱ్ఱను ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చునట్లు చేసిరి దీనుల మొఱ్ఱను ఆయనకు వినబడునట్లు చేసిరి.

28. Their apostasy was announced by the cry of the poor; the cry of the afflicted got God's attention.

29. ఆయన సమాధానము కలుగజేసినయెడల శిక్ష విధింప గలవాడెవడు?ఆయన తన ముఖమును దాచుకొనినయెడల ఆయనను చూడగలవాడెవడు? అది అనేకులను గూర్చినదైనను ఒకటే, ఒకని గూర్చిన దైనను ఒకటే

29. "If God is silent, what's that to you? If he turns his face away, what can you do about it? But whether silent or hidden, he's there, ruling,

30. భక్తిహీనులు రాజ్యపరిపాలన చేయకుండునట్లు వారు ప్రజలను చిక్కించుకొనకుండునట్లు బలవంతులను ఆయన నిర్మూలము చేయుచున్నాడు

30. so that those who hate God won't take over and ruin people's lives.

31. ఒకడునేను శిక్షనొందితిని నేను ఇకను పాపము చేయను

31. "So why don't you simply confess to God? Say, 'I sinned, but I'll sin no more.

32. నాకు తెలియనిదానిని నాకు నేర్పుము నేను దుష్కార్యము చేసియున్న యెడల ఇకను చేయనని దేవునితో చెప్పునా?

32. Teach me to see what I still don't see. Whatever evil I've done, I'll do it no more.'

33. నీకిష్టము వచ్చినట్లు ఆయన ప్రతికారముచేయునా? లేనియెడల నీవుందువా? నేను కాదు నీవేనిశ్చయింపవలెను గనుక నీవు ఎరిగిన దానిని పలుకుము.

33. Just because you refuse to live on God's terms, do you think he should start living on yours? You choose. I can't do it for you. Tell me what you decide.

34. వివేచనగలవారు జ్ఞానముగలిగి నా మాట వినువారు నాతో నీలాగు పలుకుదురు

34. "All right-thinking people say-- and the wise who have listened to me concur--

35. యోబు తెలివిమాలిన మాటలాడుచున్నాడు. అతని మాటలు బుద్ధిహీనమైనవి

35. 'Job is an ignoramus. He talks utter nonsense.'

36. దుష్టులవలె యోబు ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చినందున అతడు తుదముట్ట శోధింపబడవలెనని నేనెంతో కోరుచున్నాను.

36. Job, you need to be pushed to the wall and called to account for wickedly talking back to God the way you have.

37. అతడు తన పాపమునకు తోడుగా ద్రోహము కూర్చు కొనుచున్నాడు మనయెదుట చప్పట్లుకొట్టి దేవునిమీద కాని మాటలు పెంచుచున్నాడు.

37. You've compounded your original sin by rebelling against God's discipline, Defiantly shaking your fist at God, piling up indictments against the Almighty One."
