1. మరియు యెహోవా యోబునకు ఈలాగు ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెను

1. And Yahweh responded to Job, and said:�

2. ఆక్షేపణలు చేయజూచువాడు సర్వశక్తుడగు దేవునితో వాదింపవచ్చునా? దేవునితో వాదించువాడు ఇప్పుడు ప్రత్యుత్తర మియ్యవలెను.

2. Shall a reprover contend, with the Almighty? He that disputeth with GOD, let him answer it!

3. అప్పుడు యోబు యెహోవాకు ఈలాగున ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చెను

3. Then Job responded to Yahweh, and said:�

4. చిత్తగించుము, నేను నీచుడను, నేను, నీకు ఏమని ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెదను? నా నోటిమీద నా చేతిని ఉంచుకొందును.

4. Lo! I am of no account, what shall I reply to thee? My hand, have I laid on my mouth:

5. ఒక మారు మాటలాడితిని నేను మరల నోరెత్తను. రెండు సారులు మాటలాడితిని ఇకను పలుకను.

5. Once, have I spoken, but I will not proceed, yea twice, but I will not add.

6. అప్పుడు యెహోవా సుడిగాలిలోనుండి ఈలాగు యోబుతో ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెను

6. So then Yahweh responded to Job, out of a storm, and said:�

7. పౌరుషము తెచ్చుకొని నీ నడుము కట్టుకొనుము నేను నీకు ప్రశ్నవేసెదను నీవు ప్రత్యుత్తరమిమ్ము.

7. Gird, I pray thee�as a strong man�thy loins, I will ask thee, and inform thou me.

8. నీవు నా న్యాయమును బొత్తిగా కొట్టివేసెదవా? నిర్దోషివని నీవు తీర్పు పొందుటకై నామీద అపరాధము మోపుదువా?

8. Wilt thou even frustrate my justice? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest appear right?

9. దేవునికి కలిగియున్న బాహుబలము నీకు కలదా? ఆయన ఉరుము ధ్వనివంటి స్వరముతో నీవు గర్జింప గలవా?

9. But if, an arm like GOD, thou hast, and, with a voice like his, thou canst thunder,

10. ఆడంబర మహాత్మ్యములతో నిన్ను నీవు అలంకరించు కొనుము గౌరవప్రభావములను ధరించుకొనుము.

10. Deck thyself, I pray thee, with majesty and grandeur, Yea, with dignity and splendour, thou shalt clothe thyself;

11. నీ ఆగ్రహమును ప్రవాహములుగా కుమ్మరించుము గర్విష్టులైన వారినందరిని చూచి వారిని క్రుంగ జేయుము.

11. Pour out thy transports of anger, and look on every one who is high, and lay him low;

12. గర్విష్టులైన వారిని చూచి వారిని అణగగొట్టుము దుష్టులు ఎక్కడనున్నను వారిని అక్కడనే అణగ ద్రొక్కుము.

12. Look on every one who is high, and humble him, yea tread down the lawless, on the spot:

13. కనబడకుండ వారినందరిని బూడిదెలో పాతిపెట్టుము సమాధిలో వారిని బంధింపుము.

13. Hide them in the dust all together, Their faces, bind thou in darkness;

14. అప్పుడు నీ దక్షిణహస్తమే నిన్ను రక్షింపగలదని నేను నిన్నుగూర్చి ఒప్పుకొనెదను.

14. And, even I myself, will praise thee, in that thine own right hand can bring thee salvation.

15. నేను చేసిన నీటిగుఱ్ఱమును నీవు చూచియున్నావు గదా ఎద్దువలె అది గడ్డి మేయును.

15. Behold, I pray thee, the Hippopotamus, which I made with thee, Grass�like the ox, he eateth;

16. దాని శక్తి దాని నడుములో ఉన్నది దాని బలము దాని కడుపు నరములలో ఉన్నది.

16. Behold, I pray thee, his strength in his loins, and his force, in the muscles of his belly;

17. దేవదారుచెట్టు కొమ్మ వంగునట్లు అది తన తోకను వంచును దాని తొడల నరములు దిట్టముగా సంధింపబడి యున్నవి.

17. He bendeth down his tail like a cedar, the sinews of his thighs, are twisted together;

18. దాని యెముకలు ఇత్తడి గొట్టములవలె ఉన్నవి దాని ప్రక్క టెముకలు ఇనుపకమ్ములవలె ఉన్నవి

18. His bones, are barrels of bronze, his frame, is like hammered bars of iron:

19. అది దేవుడు సృష్టించినవాటిలో గొప్పది దాని సృజించినవాడే దాని ఖడ్గమును దానికిచ్చెను.

19. He, is the beginning of the ways of GOD, Let his maker, present him his sword:

20. పర్వతములలో దానికి మేత మొలచును అరణ్యజంతువులన్నియు అచ్చట ఆడుకొనును.

20. Surely the mountains bring, produce, to him, where, all the wild beasts of the field, do play;

21. తామర చెట్లక్రిందను జమ్ముగడ్డి మరుగునను పఱ్ఱలోను అది పండుకొనును

21. Under the lotus-trees, he lieth down, in a covert of reed and swamp;

22. తామరచెట్ల నీడను అది ఆశ్రయించును నదిలోని నిరవంజిచెట్లు దాని చుట్టుకొనియుండును.

22. The lotus-trees cover him with their shade, the willows of the torrent-bed compass him about;

23. నదీప్రవాహము పొంగి పొర్లినను అది భయపడదు యొర్దానువంటి ప్రవాహము పొంగి దానినోటియొద్దకు వచ్చినను అది ధైర్యము విడువదు.

23. Lo! the river becometh insolent�he is not alarmed! He is confident, though a Jordan burst forth to his mouth:

24. అది చూచుచుండగా ఎవరైన దానిని పట్టుకొనగలరా? ఉరియొగ్గి దాని ముక్కునకు సూత్రము వేయగలరా?

24. Before his eyes, shall he be caught? With a hook, can one pierce his nose?
