1. నా స్తుతికి కారణభూతుడవగు దేవా, మౌనముగా ఉండకుము

1. I give praise to You, O God. Do not be quiet.

2. నన్ను చెరపవలెనని భక్తిహీనులు తమ నోరు కపటముగల తమ నోరు తెరచియున్నారు వారు నామీద అబద్ధములు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నారు.

2. For sinners and liars have opened their mouths against me. They have spoken against me with lying tongues.

3. నన్ను చుట్టుకొని నా మీద ద్వేషపు మాటలాడు చున్నారు నిర్నిమిత్తముగా నాతో పోరాడుచున్నారు
యోహాను 15:25

3. They have gathered around me with words of hate. They fought against me for no reason.

4. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా వారు నామీద పగ పట్టియున్నారు అయితే నేను మానక ప్రార్థనచేయుచున్నాను.

4. I give them my love but they speak against me in return. But I am in prayer.

5. నేను చేసిన మేలునకు ప్రతిగా కీడు చేయుచున్నారు. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా నామీద ద్వేష ముంచుచున్నారు.

5. They pay me what is bad for what is good. They give me hate for my love.

6. వానిమీద భక్తిహీనుని అధికారిగా నుంచుము అపవాది వాని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచును గాక.

6. Let a sinful man have power over him. Let one who speaks against him stand at his right hand.

7. వాడు విమర్శలోనికి తేబడునప్పుడు దోషియని తీర్పు నొందును గాక వాని ప్రార్థన పాపమగునుగాక

7. When he is tried, let him be found guilty. And may his prayer become sin.

8. వాని జీవితదినములు కొద్దివగును గాక వాని ఉద్యోగమును వేరొకడు తీసికొనును గాక.

8. Let his days be few. Let another person take over his work.

9. వాని బిడ్డలు తండ్రిలేనివారవుదురు గాక వాని భార్య విధవరాలగును గాక

9. Let his children be without a father. And let his wife be without a husband.

10. వాని బిడ్డలు దేశద్రిమ్మరులై భిక్షమెత్తుదురు గాక పాడుపడిన తమ యిండ్లకు దూరముగా జీవనము వెదకుదురు గాక

10. May his children go around begging. And may they look for food far from their destroyed homes.

11. వాని ఆస్తి అంతయు అప్పులవారు ఆక్రమించు కొందురు గాక వాని కష్టార్జితమును పరులు దోచుకొందురుగాక

11. Let the one to whom he owes money take all that he has. May strangers take away all he has worked for.

12. వానికి కృప చూపువారు లేకపోదురు గాక తండ్రిలేనివాని బిడ్డలకు దయచూపువారు ఉండక పోదురు గాక

12. May no one show him kindness. Let no one pity his children who have no father.

13. వాని వంశము నిర్మూలము చేయబడును గాక వచ్చుతరమునందు వారి పేరు మాసిపోవును గాక

13. Let his children be cut off. Do not let their family name be remembered by the people-to-come.

14. వాని పితరులదోషము యెహోవా జ్ఞాపకములోనుంచు కొనును గాక వాని తల్లి పాపము తుడుపుపెట్టబడక యుండును గాక

14. Let the sins of his fathers be remembered by the Lord, and do not let the sins of his mother be forgotten.

15. ఆయన వారి జ్ఞాపకమును భూమిమీదనుండి కొట్టి వేయునట్లు ఆ పాపములు నిత్యము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కనబడుచుండునుగాక.

15. May these sins always be before the Lord. So He may not let them be remembered on the earth.

16. ఏలయనగా కృప చూపవలెనన్నమాట మరచి శ్రమనొందినవానిని దరిద్రుని నలిగిన హృదయము గలవానిని చంపవలెనని వాడు అతని తరిమెను.

16. Because he did not remember to show loving-kindness. Instead he made it hard for the poor and those in need and those with a broken heart. He even put them to death.

17. శపించుట వానికి ప్రీతి గనుక అది వానిమీదికి వచ్చి యున్నది. దీవెనయందు వానికిష్టము లేదు గనుక అది వానికి దూరమాయెను.

17. He loved to curse others, so may it come to him. He did not like to have good come to others, so good was far from him.

18. తాను పైబట్ట వేసికొనునట్లు వాడు శాపము ధరించెను అది నీళ్లవలె వాని కడుపులో చొచ్చియున్నది తైలమువలె వాని యెముకలలో చేరియున్నది

18. He dressed himself with cursing as with a coat. They came into his body like water and into his bones like oil.

19. తాను కప్పుకొను వస్త్రమువలెను తాను నిత్యము కట్టుకొను నడికట్టువలెను అది వానిని వదలకుండును గాక.

19. May they be like clothing that covers him and like a belt that he always wears.

20. నా విరోధులకు నా ప్రాణమునకు విరోధముగా మాట లాడువారికి ఇదే యెహోవావలన కలుగు ప్రతికారము.

20. Let this be what the Lord pays to those who speak against me and wish bad things would happen to me.

21. యెహోవా ప్రభువా, నీ నామమునుబట్టి నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృప ఉత్తమమైనది గనుక నన్ను విడిపింపుము.

21. But You, O God, the Lord, be kind to me because of Your name. Take me out of trouble because Your loving-kindness is good.

22. నేను దీనదరిద్రుడను నా హృదయము నాలో గుచ్చ బడియున్నది.

22. For I am in trouble and in need. And my heart is hurt within me.

23. సాగిపోయిన నీడవలె నేను క్షీణించియున్నాను మిడతలను పారదోలునట్లు నన్ను పారదోలుదురు

23. I am passing like an evening shadow. I am shaken off like a locust.

24. ఉపవాసముచేత నా మోకాళ్లు బలహీనమాయెను నా శరీరము పుష్టి తగ్గి చిక్కిపోయెను.

24. My knees are weak from going without food. And my body has lost all its fat.

25. వారి నిందలకు నేను ఆస్పదుడనైతిని వారు నన్ను చూచి తమ తలలు ఊచెదరు

25. Others laugh at me. They look at me and shake their heads.

26. యెహోవా నా దేవా, యిది నీచేత జరిగినదనియు యెహోవావైన నీవే దీని చేసితివనియు వారికి తెలియునట్లు

26. Help me, O Lord my God! Save me by Your loving-kindness.

27. నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృపనుబట్టి నన్ను రక్షింపుము.

27. Let them know that this is Your hand and that You, O Lord, have done it.

28. వారు శపించుచున్నారు గాని నీవు దీవించుదువు వారు లేచి అవమానము పొందెదరు గాని నీ సేవకుడు సంతోషించును.
1 కోరింథీయులకు 4:12

28. Let them hope that bad things will happen. But You make good things happen. Let them be ashamed when they rise up against me. But let Your servant be full of joy.

29. నా విరోధులు అవమానము ధరించుకొందురు గాక తమ సిగ్గునే నిలువుటంగీవలె కప్పుకొందురు గాక

29. Let those who speak against me be dressed with shame. Let them cover themselves with shame as with a coat.

30. నా నోటితో నేను యెహోవాకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు మెండుగా చెల్లించెదను అనేకుల మధ్యను నేనాయనను స్తుతించెదను.

30. I will give thanks to the Lord in a loud voice. I will praise Him among many people.

31. దరిద్రుని ప్రాణమును విమర్శకు లోపరచువారి చేతి లోనుండి అతని రక్షించుటకై యెహోవా అతని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచుచున్నాడు.

31. For He stands at the right hand of the one in need to save him from those who judge his soul.
