1. నా స్తుతికి కారణభూతుడవగు దేవా, మౌనముగా ఉండకుము

1. For the leader. A psalm of David: God, whom I praise, don't remain silent!

2. నన్ను చెరపవలెనని భక్తిహీనులు తమ నోరు కపటముగల తమ నోరు తెరచియున్నారు వారు నామీద అబద్ధములు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నారు.

2. For wicked and deceitful men have opened their mouths against me, spoken against me with lying tongues,

3. నన్ను చుట్టుకొని నా మీద ద్వేషపు మాటలాడు చున్నారు నిర్నిమిత్తముగా నాతో పోరాడుచున్నారు
యోహాను 15:25

3. surrounded me with hateful words, and attacked me without cause.

4. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా వారు నామీద పగ పట్టియున్నారు అయితే నేను మానక ప్రార్థనచేయుచున్నాను.

4. In return for my love they became my accusers, even though I prayed for them.

5. నేను చేసిన మేలునకు ప్రతిగా కీడు చేయుచున్నారు. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా నామీద ద్వేష ముంచుచున్నారు.

5. They repay me evil for good and hatred for my love.

6. వానిమీద భక్తిహీనుని అధికారిగా నుంచుము అపవాది వాని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచును గాక.

6. [[They say,]] 'Appoint a wicked man over him, may an accuser stand at his right.

7. వాడు విమర్శలోనికి తేబడునప్పుడు దోషియని తీర్పు నొందును గాక వాని ప్రార్థన పాపమగునుగాక

7. When he is tried, let him be found guilty, may even his plea be counted a sin.

8. వాని జీవితదినములు కొద్దివగును గాక వాని ఉద్యోగమును వేరొకడు తీసికొనును గాక.

8. May his days be few, may someone else take his position.

9. వాని బిడ్డలు తండ్రిలేనివారవుదురు గాక వాని భార్య విధవరాలగును గాక

9. May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.

10. వాని బిడ్డలు దేశద్రిమ్మరులై భిక్షమెత్తుదురు గాక పాడుపడిన తమ యిండ్లకు దూరముగా జీవనము వెదకుదురు గాక

10. May his children be wandering beggars, foraging for food from their ruined homes.

11. వాని ఆస్తి అంతయు అప్పులవారు ఆక్రమించు కొందురు గాక వాని కష్టార్జితమును పరులు దోచుకొందురుగాక

11. May creditors seize all he owns and strangers make off with his earnings.

12. వానికి కృప చూపువారు లేకపోదురు గాక తండ్రిలేనివాని బిడ్డలకు దయచూపువారు ఉండక పోదురు గాక

12. May no one treat him kindly, and may no one take pity on his orphaned children.

13. వాని వంశము నిర్మూలము చేయబడును గాక వచ్చుతరమునందు వారి పేరు మాసిపోవును గాక

13. May his posterity be cut off; may his name be erased within a generation.

14. వాని పితరులదోషము యెహోవా జ్ఞాపకములోనుంచు కొనును గాక వాని తల్లి పాపము తుడుపుపెట్టబడక యుండును గాక

14. May the wrongs of his ancestors be remembered by ADONAI, and may the sin of his mother not be erased;

15. ఆయన వారి జ్ఞాపకమును భూమిమీదనుండి కొట్టి వేయునట్లు ఆ పాపములు నిత్యము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కనబడుచుండునుగాక.

15. may they always be before ADONAI, so he can cut off all memory of them from the earth.

16. ఏలయనగా కృప చూపవలెనన్నమాట మరచి శ్రమనొందినవానిని దరిద్రుని నలిగిన హృదయము గలవానిని చంపవలెనని వాడు అతని తరిమెను.

16. For he did not remember to show kindness but hounded the downtrodden, the poor and the brokenhearted to death.

17. శపించుట వానికి ప్రీతి గనుక అది వానిమీదికి వచ్చి యున్నది. దీవెనయందు వానికిష్టము లేదు గనుక అది వానికి దూరమాయెను.

17. He loved cursing; may it recoil on him! He didn't like blessing; may it stay far from him!

18. తాను పైబట్ట వేసికొనునట్లు వాడు శాపము ధరించెను అది నీళ్లవలె వాని కడుపులో చొచ్చియున్నది తైలమువలె వాని యెముకలలో చేరియున్నది

18. He clothed himself with cursing as routinely as with his coat; May it enter inside him as easily as water, as easily as oil into his bones.

19. తాను కప్పుకొను వస్త్రమువలెను తాను నిత్యము కట్టుకొను నడికట్టువలెను అది వానిని వదలకుండును గాక.

19. May it cling to him like the coat he wears, like the belt he wraps around himself.'

20. నా విరోధులకు నా ప్రాణమునకు విరోధముగా మాట లాడువారికి ఇదే యెహోవావలన కలుగు ప్రతికారము.

20. This is what my adversaries want ADONAI to do, those who speak evil against me.

21. యెహోవా ప్రభువా, నీ నామమునుబట్టి నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృప ఉత్తమమైనది గనుక నన్ను విడిపింపుము.

21. But you, God, ADONAI, treat me as your name demands; rescue me, because your grace is good.

22. నేను దీనదరిద్రుడను నా హృదయము నాలో గుచ్చ బడియున్నది.

22. For I am poor and needy, and my heart within me is wounded.

23. సాగిపోయిన నీడవలె నేను క్షీణించియున్నాను మిడతలను పారదోలునట్లు నన్ను పారదోలుదురు

23. Like a lengthening evening shadow, I am gone; I am shaken off like a locust.

24. ఉపవాసముచేత నా మోకాళ్లు బలహీనమాయెను నా శరీరము పుష్టి తగ్గి చిక్కిపోయెను.

24. My knees are weak from lack of food, my flesh wastes away for lack of nourishment.

25. వారి నిందలకు నేను ఆస్పదుడనైతిని వారు నన్ను చూచి తమ తలలు ఊచెదరు

25. I have become the object of their taunts; when they see me, they shake their heads.

26. యెహోవా నా దేవా, యిది నీచేత జరిగినదనియు యెహోవావైన నీవే దీని చేసితివనియు వారికి తెలియునట్లు

26. Help me, ADONAI, my God! Save me, in keeping with your grace;

27. నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృపనుబట్టి నన్ను రక్షింపుము.

27. so that they will know that this comes from your hand, that you, ADONAI, have done it.

28. వారు శపించుచున్నారు గాని నీవు దీవించుదువు వారు లేచి అవమానము పొందెదరు గాని నీ సేవకుడు సంతోషించును.
1 కోరింథీయులకు 4:12

28. Let them go on cursing; but you, bless! When they attack, let them be put to shame; but let your servant rejoice.

29. నా విరోధులు అవమానము ధరించుకొందురు గాక తమ సిగ్గునే నిలువుటంగీవలె కప్పుకొందురు గాక

29. Let my adversaries be clothed with confusion, let them wear their own shame like a robe.

30. నా నోటితో నేను యెహోవాకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు మెండుగా చెల్లించెదను అనేకుల మధ్యను నేనాయనను స్తుతించెదను.

30. I will eagerly thank ADONAI with my mouth, I will praise him right there in the crowd,

31. దరిద్రుని ప్రాణమును విమర్శకు లోపరచువారి చేతి లోనుండి అతని రక్షించుటకై యెహోవా అతని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచుచున్నాడు.

31. because he stands alongside a needy person to defend him from unjust accusers.
