1. నా స్తుతికి కారణభూతుడవగు దేవా, మౌనముగా ఉండకుము

1. A David prayer. My God, don't turn a deaf ear to my hallelujah prayer.

2. నన్ను చెరపవలెనని భక్తిహీనులు తమ నోరు కపటముగల తమ నోరు తెరచియున్నారు వారు నామీద అబద్ధములు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నారు.

2. Liars are pouring out invective on me; Their lying tongues are like a pack of dogs out to get me,

3. నన్ను చుట్టుకొని నా మీద ద్వేషపు మాటలాడు చున్నారు నిర్నిమిత్తముగా నాతో పోరాడుచున్నారు

3. barking their hate, nipping my heels--and for no reason!

4. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా వారు నామీద పగ పట్టియున్నారు అయితే నేను మానక ప్రార్థనచేయుచున్నాను.

4. I loved them and now they slander me--yes, me!-- and treat my prayer like a crime;

5. నేను చేసిన మేలునకు ప్రతిగా కీడు చేయుచున్నారు. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా నామీద ద్వేష ముంచుచున్నారు.

5. They return my good with evil, they return my love with hate.

6. వానిమీద భక్తిహీనుని అధికారిగా నుంచుము అపవాది వాని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచును గాక.

6. Send the Evil One to accuse my accusing judge; dispatch Satan to prosecute him.

7. వాడు విమర్శలోనికి తేబడునప్పుడు దోషియని తీర్పు నొందును గాక వాని ప్రార్థన పాపమగునుగాక

7. When he's judged, let the verdict be, 'Guilty,' and when he prays, let his prayer turn to sin.

8. Give him a short life, and give his job to somebody else.

9. వాని బిడ్డలు తండ్రిలేనివారవుదురు గాక వాని భార్య విధవరాలగును గాక

9. Make orphans of his children, dress his wife in widow's weeds;

10. వాని బిడ్డలు దేశద్రిమ్మరులై భిక్షమెత్తుదురు గాక పాడుపడిన తమ యిండ్లకు దూరముగా జీవనము వెదకుదురు గాక

10. Turn his children into begging street urchins, evicted from their homes--homeless.

11. వాని ఆస్తి అంతయు అప్పులవారు ఆక్రమించు కొందురు గాక వాని కష్టార్జితమును పరులు దోచుకొందురుగాక

11. May the bank foreclose and wipe him out, and strangers, like vultures, pick him clean.

12. వానికి కృప చూపువారు లేకపోదురు గాక తండ్రిలేనివాని బిడ్డలకు దయచూపువారు ఉండక పోదురు గాక

12. May there be no one around to help him out, no one willing to give his orphans a break.

13. వాని వంశము నిర్మూలము చేయబడును గాక వచ్చుతరమునందు వారి పేరు మాసిపోవును గాక

13. Chop down his family tree so that nobody even remembers his name.

14. వాని పితరులదోషము యెహోవా జ్ఞాపకములోనుంచు కొనును గాక వాని తల్లి పాపము తుడుపుపెట్టబడక యుండును గాక

14. But erect a memorial to the sin of his father, and make sure his mother's name is there, too--

15. ఆయన వారి జ్ఞాపకమును భూమిమీదనుండి కొట్టి వేయునట్లు ఆ పాపములు నిత్యము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కనబడుచుండునుగాక.

15. Their sins recorded forever before GOD, but they themselves sunk in oblivion.

16. ఏలయనగా కృప చూపవలెనన్నమాట మరచి శ్రమనొందినవానిని దరిద్రుని నలిగిన హృదయము గలవానిని చంపవలెనని వాడు అతని తరిమెను.

16. That's all he deserves since he was never once kind, hounded the afflicted and heartbroken to their graves.

17. శపించుట వానికి ప్రీతి గనుక అది వానిమీదికి వచ్చి యున్నది. దీవెనయందు వానికిష్టము లేదు గనుక అది వానికి దూరమాయెను.

17. Since he loved cursing so much, let curses rain down; Since he had no taste for blessing, let blessings flee far from him.

18. తాను పైబట్ట వేసికొనునట్లు వాడు శాపము ధరించెను అది నీళ్లవలె వాని కడుపులో చొచ్చియున్నది తైలమువలె వాని యెముకలలో చేరియున్నది

18. He dressed up in curses like a fine suit of clothes; he drank curses, took his baths in curses.

19. తాను కప్పుకొను వస్త్రమువలెను తాను నిత్యము కట్టుకొను నడికట్టువలెను అది వానిని వదలకుండును గాక.

19. So give him a gift--a costume of curses; he can wear curses every day of the week!

20. నా విరోధులకు నా ప్రాణమునకు విరోధముగా మాట లాడువారికి ఇదే యెహోవావలన కలుగు ప్రతికారము.

20. That's what they'll get, those out to get me-- an avalanche of just deserts from GOD.

21. యెహోవా ప్రభువా, నీ నామమునుబట్టి నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృప ఉత్తమమైనది గనుక నన్ను విడిపింపుము.

21. Oh, GOD, my Lord, step in; work a miracle for me--you can do it! Get me out of here--your love is so great!--

22. నేను దీనదరిద్రుడను నా హృదయము నాలో గుచ్చ బడియున్నది.

22. I'm at the end of my rope, my life in ruins.

23. సాగిపోయిన నీడవలె నేను క్షీణించియున్నాను మిడతలను పారదోలునట్లు నన్ను పారదోలుదురు

23. I'm fading away to nothing, passing away, my youth gone, old before my time.

24. ఉపవాసముచేత నా మోకాళ్లు బలహీనమాయెను నా శరీరము పుష్టి తగ్గి చిక్కిపోయెను.

24. I'm weak from hunger and can hardly stand up, my body a rack of skin and bones.

25. వారి నిందలకు నేను ఆస్పదుడనైతిని వారు నన్ను చూచి తమ తలలు ఊచెదరు

25. I'm a joke in poor taste to those who see me; they take one look and shake their heads.

26. యెహోవా నా దేవా, యిది నీచేత జరిగినదనియు యెహోవావైన నీవే దీని చేసితివనియు వారికి తెలియునట్లు

26. Help me, oh help me, GOD, my God, save me through your wonderful love;

27. నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృపనుబట్టి నన్ను రక్షింపుము.

27. Then they'll know that your hand is in this, that you, GOD, have been at work.

28. వారు శపించుచున్నారు గాని నీవు దీవించుదువు వారు లేచి అవమానము పొందెదరు గాని నీ సేవకుడు సంతోషించును.

28. Let them curse all they want; you do the blessing.

29. నా విరోధులు అవమానము ధరించుకొందురు గాక తమ సిగ్గునే నిలువుటంగీవలె కప్పుకొందురు గాక

29. Let them be jeered by the crowd when they stand up, followed by cheers for me, your servant. Dress my accusers in clothes dirty with shame, discarded and humiliating old ragbag clothes.

30. నా నోటితో నేను యెహోవాకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు మెండుగా చెల్లించెదను అనేకుల మధ్యను నేనాయనను స్తుతించెదను.

30. My mouth's full of great praise for GOD, I'm singing his hallelujahs surrounded by crowds,

31. దరిద్రుని ప్రాణమును విమర్శకు లోపరచువారి చేతి లోనుండి అతని రక్షించుటకై యెహోవా అతని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచుచున్నాడు.

31. For he's always at hand to take the side of the needy, to rescue a life from the unjust judge.
