1. నా స్తుతికి కారణభూతుడవగు దేవా, మౌనముగా ఉండకుము

1. To the Overseer. -- A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, be not silent,

2. నన్ను చెరపవలెనని భక్తిహీనులు తమ నోరు కపటముగల తమ నోరు తెరచియున్నారు వారు నామీద అబద్ధములు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నారు.

2. For the mouth of wickedness, and the mouth of deceit, Against me they have opened, They have spoken with me -- A tongue of falsehood, and words of hatred!

3. నన్ను చుట్టుకొని నా మీద ద్వేషపు మాటలాడు చున్నారు నిర్నిమిత్తముగా నాతో పోరాడుచున్నారు
యోహాను 15:25

3. They have compassed me about, And they fight me without cause.

4. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా వారు నామీద పగ పట్టియున్నారు అయితే నేను మానక ప్రార్థనచేయుచున్నాను.

4. For my love they oppose me, and I -- prayer!

5. నేను చేసిన మేలునకు ప్రతిగా కీడు చేయుచున్నారు. నేను చూపిన ప్రేమకు ప్రతిగా నామీద ద్వేష ముంచుచున్నారు.

5. And they set against me evil for good, And hatred for my love.

6. వానిమీద భక్తిహీనుని అధికారిగా నుంచుము అపవాది వాని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచును గాక.

6. Appoint Thou over him the wicked, And an adversary standeth at his right hand.

7. వాడు విమర్శలోనికి తేబడునప్పుడు దోషియని తీర్పు నొందును గాక వాని ప్రార్థన పాపమగునుగాక

7. In his being judged, he goeth forth wicked, And his prayer is for sin.

8. వాని జీవితదినములు కొద్దివగును గాక వాని ఉద్యోగమును వేరొకడు తీసికొనును గాక.

8. His days are few, his oversight another taketh,

9. వాని బిడ్డలు తండ్రిలేనివారవుదురు గాక వాని భార్య విధవరాలగును గాక

9. His sons are fatherless, and his wife a widow.

10. వాని బిడ్డలు దేశద్రిమ్మరులై భిక్షమెత్తుదురు గాక పాడుపడిన తమ యిండ్లకు దూరముగా జీవనము వెదకుదురు గాక

10. And wander continually do his sons, Yea, they have begged, And have sought out of their dry places.

11. వాని ఆస్తి అంతయు అప్పులవారు ఆక్రమించు కొందురు గాక వాని కష్టార్జితమును పరులు దోచుకొందురుగాక

11. An exactor layeth a snare for all that he hath, And strangers spoil his labour.

12. వానికి కృప చూపువారు లేకపోదురు గాక తండ్రిలేనివాని బిడ్డలకు దయచూపువారు ఉండక పోదురు గాక

12. He hath none to extend kindness, Nor is there one showing favour to his orphans.

13. వాని వంశము నిర్మూలము చేయబడును గాక వచ్చుతరమునందు వారి పేరు మాసిపోవును గాక

13. His posterity is for cutting off, In another generation is their name blotted out.

14. వాని పితరులదోషము యెహోవా జ్ఞాపకములోనుంచు కొనును గాక వాని తల్లి పాపము తుడుపుపెట్టబడక యుండును గాక

14. The iniquity of his fathers Is remembered unto Jehovah, And the sin of his mother is not blotted out.

15. ఆయన వారి జ్ఞాపకమును భూమిమీదనుండి కొట్టి వేయునట్లు ఆ పాపములు నిత్యము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కనబడుచుండునుగాక.

15. They are before Jehovah continually, And He cutteth off from earth their memorial.

16. ఏలయనగా కృప చూపవలెనన్నమాట మరచి శ్రమనొందినవానిని దరిద్రుని నలిగిన హృదయము గలవానిని చంపవలెనని వాడు అతని తరిమెను.

16. Because that he hath not remembered to do kindness, And pursueth the poor man and needy, And the smitten of heart -- to slay,

17. శపించుట వానికి ప్రీతి గనుక అది వానిమీదికి వచ్చి యున్నది. దీవెనయందు వానికిష్టము లేదు గనుక అది వానికి దూరమాయెను.

17. And he loveth reviling, and it meeteth him, And he hath not delighted in blessing, And it is far from him.

18. తాను పైబట్ట వేసికొనునట్లు వాడు శాపము ధరించెను అది నీళ్లవలె వాని కడుపులో చొచ్చియున్నది తైలమువలె వాని యెముకలలో చేరియున్నది

18. And he putteth on reviling as his robe, And it cometh in as water into his midst, And as oil into his bones.

19. తాను కప్పుకొను వస్త్రమువలెను తాను నిత్యము కట్టుకొను నడికట్టువలెను అది వానిని వదలకుండును గాక.

19. It is to him as apparel -- he covereth himself, And for a continual girdle he girdeth it on.

20. నా విరోధులకు నా ప్రాణమునకు విరోధముగా మాట లాడువారికి ఇదే యెహోవావలన కలుగు ప్రతికారము.

20. This [is] the wage of mine accusers from Jehovah, And of those speaking evil against my soul.

21. యెహోవా ప్రభువా, నీ నామమునుబట్టి నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృప ఉత్తమమైనది గనుక నన్ను విడిపింపుము.

21. And Thou, O Jehovah Lord, Deal with me for Thy name's sake, Because Thy kindness [is] good, deliver me.

22. నేను దీనదరిద్రుడను నా హృదయము నాలో గుచ్చ బడియున్నది.

22. For I [am] poor and needy, And my heart hath been pierced in my midst.

23. సాగిపోయిన నీడవలె నేను క్షీణించియున్నాను మిడతలను పారదోలునట్లు నన్ను పారదోలుదురు

23. As a shadow when it is stretched out I have gone, I have been driven away as a locust.

24. ఉపవాసముచేత నా మోకాళ్లు బలహీనమాయెను నా శరీరము పుష్టి తగ్గి చిక్కిపోయెను.

24. My knees have been feeble from fasting, And my flesh hath failed of fatness.

25. వారి నిందలకు నేను ఆస్పదుడనైతిని వారు నన్ను చూచి తమ తలలు ఊచెదరు

25. And I -- I have been a reproach to them, They see me, they shake their head.

26. యెహోవా నా దేవా, యిది నీచేత జరిగినదనియు యెహోవావైన నీవే దీని చేసితివనియు వారికి తెలియునట్లు

26. Help me, O Jehovah my God, Save me, according to Thy kindness.

27. నాకు సహాయము చేయుము నీ కృపనుబట్టి నన్ను రక్షింపుము.

27. And they know that this [is] Thy hand, Thou, O Jehovah, Thou hast done it.

28. వారు శపించుచున్నారు గాని నీవు దీవించుదువు వారు లేచి అవమానము పొందెదరు గాని నీ సేవకుడు సంతోషించును.
1 కోరింథీయులకు 4:12

28. They revile, and Thou dost bless, They have risen, and are ashamed, And Thy servant doth rejoice.

29. నా విరోధులు అవమానము ధరించుకొందురు గాక తమ సిగ్గునే నిలువుటంగీవలె కప్పుకొందురు గాక

29. Mine accusers put on blushing, and are covered, As an upper robe [is] their shame.

30. నా నోటితో నేను యెహోవాకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు మెండుగా చెల్లించెదను అనేకుల మధ్యను నేనాయనను స్తుతించెదను.

30. I thank Jehovah greatly with my mouth, And in the midst of many I praise Him,

31. దరిద్రుని ప్రాణమును విమర్శకు లోపరచువారి చేతి లోనుండి అతని రక్షించుటకై యెహోవా అతని కుడిప్రక్కను నిలుచుచున్నాడు.

31. For He standeth at the right hand of the needy, To save from those judging his soul.
