1. మనుష్యులు మనమీదికి లేచినప్పుడు యెహోవా మనకు తోడైయుండనియెడల

1. A song of ascents. Of David. I Had not the LORD been with us, let Israel say,

2. వారి ఆగ్రహము మనపైని రగులుకొనినప్పుడు

2. Had not the LORD been with us, when people rose against us,

3. యెహోవా మనకు తోడైయుండనియెడల వారు మనలను ప్రాణముతోనే మింగివేసియుందురు

3. They would have swallowed us alive, for their fury blazed against us.

4. జలములు మనలను ముంచివేసి యుండును ప్రవాహము మన ప్రాణములమీదుగా పొర్లిపారి యుండును

4. The waters would have engulfed us, the torrent overwhelmed us;

5. ప్రవాహములై ఘోషించు జలములు మన ప్రాణములమీదుగా పొర్లి పారియుండును అని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అందురు గాక.

5. seething waters would have drowned us.

6. వారి పండ్లకు మనలను వేటగా అప్పగింపని యెహోవా స్తుతినొందును గాక.

6. Blessed be the LORD, who did not leave us to be torn by their fangs.

7. పక్షి తప్పించుకొనినట్లు మన ప్రాణము వేటకాండ్ర ఉరినుండి తప్పించుకొని యున్నది ఉరి తెంపబడెను మనము తప్పించుకొని యున్నాము.

7. We escaped with our lives like a bird from the fowler's snare; the snare was broken and we escaped.

8. భూమ్యాకాశములను సృజించిన యెహోవా నామము వలననే మనకు సహాయము కలుగుచున్నది.

8. Our help is the name of the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth.
