1. మనుష్యులు మనమీదికి లేచినప్పుడు యెహోవా మనకు తోడైయుండనియెడల

2. వారి ఆగ్రహము మనపైని రగులుకొనినప్పుడు

3. యెహోవా మనకు తోడైయుండనియెడల వారు మనలను ప్రాణముతోనే మింగివేసియుందురు

3. Then, alive, had they swallowed us up, in the glow of their anger against us;

4. జలములు మనలను ముంచివేసి యుండును ప్రవాహము మన ప్రాణములమీదుగా పొర్లిపారి యుండును

4. Then, the waters, had whelmed us, the torrent, gone over our soul;

5. ప్రవాహములై ఘోషించు జలములు మన ప్రాణములమీదుగా పొర్లి పారియుండును అని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అందురు గాక.

5. Then, had gone over our soul the waters so proud!

6. వారి పండ్లకు మనలను వేటగా అప్పగింపని యెహోవా స్తుతినొందును గాక.

6. Blessed, be Yahweh, who gave us not as prey to their teeth.

7. పక్షి తప్పించుకొనినట్లు మన ప్రాణము వేటకాండ్ర ఉరినుండి తప్పించుకొని యున్నది ఉరి తెంపబడెను మనము తప్పించుకొని యున్నాము.

7. Our soul, as a bird, hath escaped from the snare of the fowlers, The snare, is broken, and, we, are escaped:

8. భూమ్యాకాశములను సృజించిన యెహోవా నామము వలననే మనకు సహాయము కలుగుచున్నది.

8. Our help, is in the Name of Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.
