1. యెహోవా, నీవు నన్ను పరిశోధించి తెలిసికొని యున్నావు

1. [For the choirmaster Of David Psalm] Yahweh, you examine me and know me,

2. నేను కూర్చుండుట నేను లేచుట నీకు తెలియును నాకు తలంపు పుట్టకమునుపే నీవు నా మనస్సు గ్రహించుచున్నావు.

2. you know when I sit, when I rise, you understand my thoughts from afar.

3. నా నడకను నా పడకను నీవు పరిశీలన చేసియున్నావు, నా చర్యలన్నిటిని నీవు బాగుగా తెలిసికొనియున్నావు.

3. You watch when I walk or lie down, you know every detail of my conduct.

4. యెహోవా, మాట నా నాలుకకు రాకమునుపే అది నీకు పూర్తిగా తెలిసియున్నది.

4. A word is not yet on my tongue before you, Yahweh, know all about it.

5. వెనుకను ముందును నీవు నన్ను ఆవరించియున్నావు నీ చేయి నామీద ఉంచియున్నావు.

5. You fence me in, behind and in front, you have laid your hand upon me.

6. ఇట్టి తెలివి నాకు మించినది అది అగోచరము అది నాకందదు.

6. Such amazing knowledge is beyond me, a height to which I cannot attain.

7. నీ ఆత్మయొద్దనుండి నేనెక్కడికి పోవుదును? నీ సన్నిధినుండి నేనెక్కడికి పారిపోవుదును?

7. Where shall I go to escape your spirit? Where shall I flee from your presence?

8. నేను ఆకాశమునకెక్కినను నీవు అక్కడను ఉన్నావు నేను పాతాళమందు పండుకొనినను నీవు అక్కడను ఉన్నావు

8. If I scale the heavens you are there, if I lie flat in Sheol, there you are.

9. నేను వేకువ రెక్కలు కట్టుకొని సముద్ర దిగంతములలో నివసించినను

9. If I speed away on the wings of the dawn, if I dwell beyond the ocean,

10. అక్కడను నీ చేయి నన్ను నడిపించును నీ కుడిచేయి నన్ను పట్టుకొనును

10. even there your hand will be guiding me, your right hand holding me fast.

11. అంధకారము నన్ను మరుగుచేయును నాకు కలుగు వెలుగు రాత్రివలె ఉండును అని నేనను కొనిన యెడల

11. I will say, 'Let the darkness cover me, and the night wrap itself around me,'

12. చీకటియైనను నీకు చీకటి కాకపోవును రాత్రి పగటివలె నీకు వెలుగుగా ఉండును చీకటియు వెలుగును నీకు ఏకరీతిగా ఉన్నవి

12. even darkness to you is not dark, and night is as clear as the day.

13. నా అంతరింద్రియములను నీవే కలుగజేసితివి నా తల్లి గర్భమందు నన్ను నిర్మించినవాడవు నీవే.

13. You created my inmost self, knit me together in my mother's womb.

14. నీవు నన్ను కలుగజేసిన విధము చూడగా భయమును ఆశ్చర్యమును నాకు పుట్టుచున్నవి అందునుబట్టి నేను నీకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించు చున్నాను నీ కార్యములు ఆశ్చర్యకరములు. ఆ సంగతి నాకు బాగుగా తెలిసియున్నది.

14. For so many marvels I thank you; a wonder am I, and all your works are wonders. You knew me through and through,

15. నేను రహస్యమందు పుట్టిననాడు భూమియొక్క అగాధస్థలములలో విచిత్రముగా నిర్మింపబడిననాడు నాకు కలిగినయెముకలును నీకు మరుగై యుండలేదు

15. my being held no secrets from you, when I was being formed in secret, textured in the depths of the earth.

16. నేను పిండమునై యుండగా నీ కన్నులు నన్ను చూచెను నియమింపబడిన దినములలో ఒకటైన కాకమునుపే నా దినములన్నియు నీ గ్రంథములో లిఖితము లాయెను.

16. Your eyes could see my embryo. In your book all my days were inscribed, every one that was fixed is there.

17. దేవా, నీ తలంపులు నా కెంత ప్రియమైనవి వాటి మొత్తమెంత గొప్పది.

17. How hard for me to grasp your thoughts, how many, God, there are!

18. వాటిని లెక్కించెద ననుకొంటినా అవి యిసుక కంటెను లెక్కకు ఎక్కువై యున్నవి నేను మేల్కొంటినా యింకను నీయొద్దనే యుందును.

18. If I count them, they are more than the grains of sand; if I come to an end, I am still with you.

19. దేవా,నీవు భక్తిహీనులను నిశ్చయముగా సంహరించెదవు నరహంతకులారా, నాయొద్దనుండి తొలగిపోవుడి.

19. If only, God, you would kill the wicked!-Men of violence, keep away from me!-

20. వారు దురాలోచనతో నిన్నుగూర్చి పలుకుదురు మోసపుచ్చుటకై నీ నామమునుబట్టి ప్రమాణము చేయుదురు.

20. those who speak blasphemously about you, and take no account of your thoughts.

21. యెహోవా, నిన్ను ద్వేషించువారిని నేనును ద్వేషించు చున్నాను గదా? నీ మీద లేచువారిని నేను అసహ్యించుకొనుచున్నాను గదా?

21. Yahweh, do I not hate those who hate you, and loathe those who defy you?

22. వారియందు నాకు పూర్ణద్వేషము కలదు వారిని నాకు శత్రువులనుగా భావించుకొనుచున్నాను

22. My hate for them has no limits, I regard them as my own enemies.

23. దేవా, నన్ను పరిశోధించి నా హృదయమును తెలిసికొనుము నన్ను పరీక్షించి నా ఆలోచనలను తెలిసికొనుము

23. God, examine me and know my heart, test me and know my concerns.

24. నీకాయాసకరమైన మార్గము నాయందున్న దేమో చూడుము నిత్యమార్గమున నన్ను నడిపింపుము.

24. Make sure that I am not on my way to ruin, and guide me on the road of eternity.
