1. నీవు వారికి నియమింపవలసిన న్యాయవిధులేవనగా

1. Now, these are the regulations which thou shalt put before them.

2. నీవు హెబ్రీయుడైన దాసుని కొనినయెడల వాడు ఆరు సంవత్సరములు దాసుడై యుండి యేడవ సంవత్సరమున ఏమియు ఇయ్యకయే నిన్ను విడిచి స్వతంత్రుడగును.
యోహాను 8:35

2. When thou shalt acquire a servant who is a Hebrew, six years, shall he serve, but in the seventh shall he go out freely for nought.

3. వాడు ఒంటిగా వచ్చినయెడల ఒంటిగానే వెళ్లవచ్చును. వానికి భార్య యుండిన యెడల వాని భార్య వానితోకూడ వెళ్లవచ్చును.

3. If, by himself, he came in, by himself, shall he go out, if he was married, then shall his wife go out with him.

4. వాని యజమానుడు వానికి భార్యనిచ్చిన తరువాత ఆమె వానివలన కుమారులనైనను కుమార్తెలనైనను కనిన యెడల ఆ భార్యయు ఆమె పిల్లలును ఆమె యజమానుని సొత్తగుదురుకాని వాడు ఒంటిగానే పోవలెను.

4. If his lord gave him a wife, and she have borne him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her lords, and, he shall go out by himself.

5. అయితే ఆ దాసుడునేను నా యజమానుని నా భార్యను నా పిల్లలను ప్రేమించుచున్నాను; నేను వారిని విడిచి స్వతంత్రుడనై పోనొల్లనని నిజముగా చెప్పిన యెడల

5. But, if the servant shall plainly say, I love my lord, and my wife and my sons, I will not go out free,

6. వాని యజమానుడు దేవుని యొద్దకు వానిని తీసికొని రావలెను, మరియు వాని యజమానుడు తలుపునొద్ద కైనను ద్వారబంధ మునొద్దకైనను వాని తోడుకొనిపోయి వాని చెవిని కదురుతో గుచ్చవలెను. తరువాత వాడు నిరంతరము వానికి దాసుడైయుండును.

6. then shall his lord bring him near unto God, and shall bring him near unto the door, or unto the door-post, and his lord shall pierce his ear with an awl, so shall he serve him all his life.

7. ఒకడు తన కుమార్తెను దాసిగా అమ్మినయెడల దాసులైన పురుషులు వెళ్లిపోవునట్లు అది వెళ్లిపోకూడదు.

7. And when a man shall sell iris daughter to be a handmaid, she shall not go out according to the out-going of the men-servants,

8. దానిని ప్రధానము చేసికొనిన యజమానుని దృష్టికి అది యిష్టురాలుకానియెడల అది విడిపింపబడునట్లు అవకాశము నియ్యవలెను; దాని వంచించినందున అన్యజనులకు దానిని అమ్ముటకు వానికి అధికారము లేదు.

8. If she is uncomely in the eyes of her lord, who hath not assigned her in marriage, then shall he suffer her to be redeemed: to a strange people, shall he not have power to sell her in that he hath dealt treacherously with her.

9. తన కుమారునికి దాని ప్రధానము చేసినయెడల కుమార్తెల విషయమైన న్యాయవిధిని బట్టి దానియెడల జరిగింపవలెను.

9. And if to his soul he assign her, according to the custom for daughters, shall he do for her.

10. ఆ కుమారుడు వేరొక దాని చేర్చుకొనినను, మొదటిదానికి ఆహారమును వస్త్రమును సంసారధర్మమును తక్కువ చేయకూడదు.

10. If he take to himself another, her food her clothing, and her marriage-right, shall he not withdraw.

11. ఈ మూడును దానికి కలుగజేయని యెడల అది ఏమియు ఇయ్యక స్వతంత్రురాలై పోవచ్చును.

11. But if these three, he will not do for her, then shall she go out for nought, without silver.

12. నరుని చావగొట్టినవానికి నిశ్చయముగా మరణశిక్ష విధింపవలెను.

12. He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall surely be put to death.

13. అయితే వాడు చంపవలెనని పొంచి యుండకయే దైవికముగా వానిచేత ఆ హత్య జరిగిన యెడల వాడు పారిపోగల యొక స్థలమును నీకు నిర్ణయించెదను.

13. But he who hath not lain in wait, but, God, hath occasioned him to come to his hand, then will I appoint for thee a place, whither he may flee.

14. అయితే ఒకడు తన పొరుగువానిమీద దౌర్జన్యముగా వచ్చి కపటముగా చంప లేచినయెడల వాడు నా బలిపీఠము నాశ్రయించినను వాని లాగివేసి చంపవలెను.

14. But, when a man shall act presumptuously against his neighbour to slay him with guile, from mine altar, shalt thou take him to die.

15. తన తండ్రినైనను తల్లినైనను కొట్టువాడు నిశ్చయముగా మరణశిక్షనొందును.

15. And, he that smiteth his father or his mother, shall, surely be put to death.

16. ఒకడు నరుని దొంగిలించి అమ్మినను, తనయొద్దనుంచుకొనినను, వాడు నిశ్చయముగా మరణశిక్ష నొందును.

16. And, he that stealeth a man of the sons of Israel, and selleth him, or he be found in his hand, shall, surely be put to death.

17. తన తండ్రినైనను తల్లినైనను శపించువాడు నిశ్చయముగా మరణశిక్ష నొందును.

17. And he who revileth his father or his mother, shall, surely be put to death.

18. మనుష్యులు పోట్లాడుచుండగా ఒకడు తన పొరుగు వానిని రాతితోనైనను పిడికిటితోనైనను గుద్దుటవలన వాడు చావక మంచముమీద పడియుండి

18. And when men strive together, and one shall smite the other, with a stone or with his fist, and he die not, but shall fall to his bed;

19. తరువాత లేచి తన చేతికఱ్ఱతో బయటికి వెళ్లి తిరుగుచుండిన యెడల, వాని కొట్టిన వానికి శిక్ష విధింపబడదు గాని అతడు పనిచేయలేని కాలమునకు తగిన సొమ్ము ఇచ్చి వాడు అతనిని పూర్తిగా బాగుచేయింపవలెను.

19. if he rise and shall walk abroad on his staff, then shall he that smote him be acquitted, only, for his loss of time, he shall pay, and, shall surely heal, him.

20. ఒకడు తన దాసుడైనను తన దాసియైనను చచ్చునట్లు కఱ్ఱతో కొట్టినయెడల అతడు నిశ్చయముగా ప్రతిదండన నొందును.

20. And when a man shall smite his servant or his handmaid with a rod, and he die under his hand, he shall, surely be avenged;

21. అయితే వాడు ఒకటి రెండు దినములు బ్రదికినయెడల ఆ ప్రతిదండన అతడు పొందడు, వాడు అతని సొమ్మేగదా.

21. nevertheless if, for a day or for two days, he continue, he shall not be avenged, for, his silver, he is.

22. నరులు పోట్లాడుచుండగా గర్భవతియైన స్త్రీకి దెబ్బతగిలి ఆమెకు గర్భపాతమేగాక మరి ఏ హానియు రానియెడల హానిచేసినవాడు ఆ స్త్రీ పెనిమిటి వానిమీద మోపిన నష్టమును అచ్చుకొనవలెను. న్యాయాధిపతులు తీర్మానించినట్లు దాని చెల్లింపవలెను.

22. And when men strive together and push against a woman with child, and she miscarry, hut there is no other mischief, he shall, surely be fined, according as the woman's husband shall lay upon him, but he shall give it through judges.

23. హాని కలిగిన యెడల నీవు ప్రాణమునకు ప్రాణము,

23. But, if mischief follow, then shalt thou give life for life;

24. కంటికి కన్ను, పంటికి పల్లు, చేతికి చెయ్యి, కాలికి కాలు,
మత్తయి 5:38

24. eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

25. వాతకు వాత, గాయమునకు గాయము, దెబ్బకు దెబ్బయు నియమింపవలెను.

25. brand for brand, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

26. ఒకడు తన దాసుని కన్నైనను తన దాసి కన్నైనను పోగొట్టినయెడల ఆ కంటి హానినిబట్టి వారిని స్వతంత్రునిగా పోనియ్యవలెను.

26. And, when a man smiteth the eye of his servant, or the eye of his handmaid, and destroyeth it, he shall send him forth, free, for his eye;

27. వాడు తన దాసుని పల్లయినను తన దాసి పల్లయినను ఊడగొట్టినయెడల ఆ పంటి నిమిత్తము వారిని స్వతంత్రులగా పోనియ్య వలెను.

27. or, if, the tooth of his servant or the tooth of his handmaid, he knock out, he shall send him forth, free, for his tooth.

28. ఎద్దు పురుషునైనను స్త్రీనైనను చావపొడిచినయెడల నిశ్చయముగా రాళ్లతో ఆ యెద్దును చావకొట్టవలెను. దాని మాంసమును తినకూడదు, అయితే ఆ యెద్దు యజమానుడు నిర్దోషియగును.

28. And when an ox goreth a man or a woman, and death ensueth, the ox shall, surely be stoned and his flesh shall not be eaten, and the owner of the ox, shall be quit.

29. ఆ యెద్దు అంతకు ముందు పొడుచునది అని దాని యజమానునికి తెలుపబడినను, వాడు దాని భద్రము చేయకుండుటవలన అది పురుషునైనను స్త్రీనైనను చంపినయెడల ఆ యెద్దును రాళ్లతో చావగొట్టవలెను; దాని యజమానుడు మరణశిక్ష నొంద వలెను.

29. But, if, the ox, was wont to gore before that time and it hath been attested to his owner, and he hath not proceeded to put him under guard, and he causeth the death of man or woman, the ox, shall be stoned, and, his owner also, shall be put to death.

30. వానికి పరిక్రయధనము నియమింపబడినయెడల వానికి నియమింపబడిన అన్నిటి ప్రకారము తన ప్రాణ విమోచన నిమిత్తము ధనము చెల్లింపవలెను.

30. If, a sin-covering, be laid on him, then shall he give a ransom for his life, according to whatsoever may be laid on him:

31. అది కుమారుని పొడిచినను కుమార్తెను పొడిచినను ఈ విధి చొప్పున అతడు చేయవలెను.

31. if, a son, he gore or, a daughter, he gore, according to this regulation, shall it be done to him;

32. ఆ యెద్దు దాసునినైనను దాసినైనను పొడిచిన యెడల వారి యజమానునికి ముప్పది తులములవెండి చెల్లింపవలెను. మరియు ఆ యెద్దును రాళ్లతో చావకొట్ట వలెను.

32. if, a servant the ox gore, or a handmaid, thirty shekels of silver, shall he give to his lord, and, the ox, shall be stoned.

33. ఒకడు గోతిమీది కప్పు తీయుటవలన, లేక ఒకడు గొయ్యి త్రవ్వి దాని కప్పకపోవుటవలన, దానిలో ఎద్దయినను గాడిదయైనను పడిన యెడల

33. And when a man openeth a pit, or when a man diggeth a pit, and doth not cover it, and there falleth thereinto an ox or an ass,

34. ఆ గోతి ఖామందులు ఆ నష్టమును అచ్చుకొనవలెను; వాటి యజమానునికి సొమ్ము ఇయ్యవలెను; చచ్చినది వానిదగును.

34. the owner of the pit, shall make it good, silver, shall he pay back to the owner thereof, and the dead beast, shall be his.

35. ఒకని యెద్దు వేరొకని యెద్దు చచ్చునట్లు దాని పొడి చినయెడల బ్రదికియున్న ఎద్దును అమ్మి దాని విలువను పంచుకొనవలెను, చచ్చిన యెద్దును పంచుకొనవలెను.

35. And when the ox of one man thrusteth the ox of his neighbour so that it dieth, then shall they sell the live ox and divide the silver thereof, and the dead ox also, shall they divide,

36. అయితే అంతకు ముందు ఆ యెద్దు పొడుచునది అని తెలియబడియు దాని యజమానుడు దాని భద్రము చేయని వాడైతే వాడు నిశ్చయముగా ఎద్దుకు ఎద్దునియ్యవలెను; చచ్చినది వానిదగును.

36. Or if it was known that, an ox, was, wont to gore, before that time, and his owner proceeded not to put him under guard, he shall surely make good, an ox for the ox, and, the dead one, shall be his.
