1. ఒకడు ఎద్దునైనను గొఱ్ఱెనైనను దొంగిలించి దాని అమ్మినను చంపినను ఆ యెద్దుకు ప్రతిగా అయిదు ఎద్దులను ఆ గొఱ్ఱెకు ప్రతిగా నాలుగు గొఱ్ఱెలను ఇయ్యవలెను.
లూకా 19:8

1. If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

2. దొంగ కన్నము వేయుచుండగా వాడు దొరికి చచ్చునట్లు కొట్టబడినయెడల అందువలన రక్తాపరాధ ముండదు.

2. If a thief shall be found breaking through, and be smitten that he die, [there shall] no blood [be shed] for him.

3. సూర్యుడు ఉదయించిన తరువాత వాని కొట్టినయెడల వానికి రక్తాపరాధముండును; వాడు సరిగా సొమ్ము మరల చెల్లింపవలెను. వానికేమియు లేకపోయిన యెడల వాడు దొంగతనము చేసినందున అమ్మబడవలెను.

3. If the sun shall have risen upon him, [there shall be] blood [shed] for him; [for] he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

4. వాడు దొంగిలినది ఎద్దయినను గాడిదయైనను గొఱ్ఱెయైనను సరే అది ప్రాణముతో వానియొద్ద దొరికినయెడల రెండం తలు చెల్లింపవలెను.

4. If the theft shall be certainly found in his hand alive, whether an ox, or donkey, or sheep; he shall restore double.

5. ఒకడు చేనునైనను ద్రాక్షతోటనైనను మేపుటకు తన పశువును విడిపించగా ఆ పశువు వేరొకని చేను మేసినయెడల అతడు తన చేలలోని మంచిదియు ద్రాక్ష తోటలోని మంచిదియు దానికి ప్రతిగా నియ్యవలెను.

5. If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man's field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.

6. అగ్ని రగిలి ముండ్ల కంపలు అంటుకొనుటవలన పంట కుప్పయైనను పంటపైరైనను చేనైనను కాలి పోయినయెడల అగ్ని నంటించినవాడు ఆ నష్టమును అచ్చుకొనవలెను.

6. If fire shall break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of grain, or the standing grain, or the field, shall be consumed; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.

7. ఒకడు సొమ్మయినను సామానై నను జాగ్రత్తపెట్టుటకు తన పొరుగువానికి అప్పగించినప్పుడు అది ఆ మనుష్యుని యింట నుండి దొంగిలింపబడి ఆ దొంగ దొరికినయెడల వాడు దానికి రెండంతలు అచ్చుకొనవలెను;

7. If a man shall deliver to his neighbour money or goods to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief shall be found, let him pay double.

8. ఆ దొంగ దొరకని యెడల ఆ యింటి యజమానుడు తన పొరుగువాని పదార్థములను తీసికొనెనో లేదో పరిష్కారమగుటకై దేవునియొద్దకు రావలెను.

8. If the thief shall not be found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the judges, [to see] whether he hath put his hand to his neighbour's goods.

9. ప్రతి విధమైన ద్రోహమును గూర్చి, అనగా ఎద్దునుగూర్చి గాడిదనుగూర్చి గొఱ్ఱెను గూర్చి బట్టనుగూర్చి పోయినదాని నొకడు చూచి యిది నాదని చెప్పిన దానిగూర్చి ఆ యిద్దరి వ్యాజ్యెము దేవుని యొద్దకు తేబడవలెను. దేవుడు ఎవనిమీద నేరము స్థాపించునో వాడు తన పొరుగువానికి రెండంతలు అచ్చుకొన వలెను.

9. For all manner of trespass, [whether it be] for ox, for donkey, for sheep, for raiment, [or] for any manner of lost thing, which [another] challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; [and] he whom the judges shall condemn, shall pay double to his neighbour.

10. ఒకడు గాడిదనైనను ఎద్దునైనను గొఱ్ఱెనైనను మరి ఏ జంతువునైనను కాపాడుటకు తన పొరుగువానికి అప్పగించినమీదట, అది చచ్చినను హాని పొందినను, ఎవడును చూడకుండగా తోలుకొని పోబడినను,

10. If a man shall deliver to his neighbour a donkey, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it shall die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing [it]:

11. వాడు తన పొరుగువాని సొమ్మును తీసికొనలేదనుటకు యెహోవా ప్రమాణము వారిద్దరిమధ్య నుండవలెను. సొత్తుదారుడు ఆ ప్రమాణమును అంగీకరింపవలెను; ఆ నష్టమును అచ్చుకొననక్కరలేదు.
హెబ్రీయులకు 6:16

11. [Then] shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand to his neighbour's goods; and the owner of it shall accept [of it], and he shall not make restitution.

12. అది నిజముగా వానియొద్దనుండి దొంగిలబడినయెడల సొత్తుదారునికి ఆ నష్టమును అచ్చుకొనవలెను.

12. And if it shall be stolen from him, he shall make restitution to the owner of it.

13. అది నిజముగా చీల్చబడినయెడల వాడు సాక్ష్యముకొరకు దాని తేవలెను; చీల్చబడినదాని నష్టమును అచ్చుకొన నక్కరలేదు.

13. If it shall be torn in pieces, [then] let him bring it [for] witness, [and] he shall not make good that which was torn.

14. ఒకడు తన పొరుగువానియొద్ద దేనినైనను బదులు దీసికొనిపోగా దాని యజమానుడు దానియొద్ద లేనప్పుడు, అది హానిపొందినను చచ్చినను దాని నష్టమును అచ్చుకొనవలెను.

14. And if a man shall borrow [any thing] from his neighbour, and it shall be hurt, or die, the owner of it [being] not with it, he shall surely make [it] good.

15. దాని యజమానుడు దానితో నుండిన యెడల దాని నష్టమును అచ్చుకొననక్కరలేదు. అది అద్దెదైన యెడల అది దాని అద్దెకు వచ్చెను.

15. [But] if the owner of it shall [be] with it, he shall not make [it] good: if it [be] an hired [thing], it came for his hire.

16. ఒకడు ప్రధానము చేయబడని ఒక కన్యకను మరులుకొల్పి ఆమెతో శయనించినయెడల ఆమె నిమిత్తము ఓలి ఇచ్చి ఆమెను పెండ్లి చేసికొనవలెను.

16. And if a man shall entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.

17. ఆమె తండ్రి ఆమెను వానికి ఇయ్యనొల్లని యెడల వాడు కన్యకల ఓలిచొప్పున సొమ్ము చెల్లింపవలెను.

17. If her father shall utterly refuse to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

18. శకునము చెప్పుదానిని బ్రదుకనియ్యకూడదు.

18. Thou shalt not allow a witch to live.

19. మృగసంయోగము చేయు ప్రతివాడు నిశ్చయముగా మరణశిక్ష నొందవలెను.

19. Whoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.

20. యోహోవాకు మాత్రమే గాక వేరొక దేవునికి బలి అర్పించువాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడు.

20. He that sacrificeth to [any] god, except to the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

21. పరదేశిని విసికింపవద్దు, బాధింపవద్దు; మీరు ఐగుప్తు దేశములో పరదేశులై యుంటిరి గదా.

21. Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

22. విధవరాలినైనను దిక్కులేని పిల్లనైనను బాధపెట్టకూడదు.

22. Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

23. వారు నీచేత ఏ విధముగానైనను బాధనొంది నాకు మొఱ పెట్టినయెడల నేను నిశ్చయముగా వారి మొఱను విందును.

23. If thou shalt afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to me, I will surely hear their cry;

24. నా కోపాగ్ని రవులుకొని మిమ్మును కత్తిచేత చంపించెదను, మీ భార్యలు విధవ రాండ్రగుదురు, మీ పిల్లలు దిక్కులేనివారగుదురు.

24. And my wrath shall burn, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

25. నా ప్రజలలో నీయొద్దనుండు ఒక బీదవానికి సొమ్ము అప్పిచ్చినయెడల వడ్డికిచ్చువానివలె వాని యెడల జరిగింపకూడదు, వానికి వడ్డికట్టకూడదు.

25. If thou shalt lend money to [any of] my people [that is] poor among you, thou shalt not be to him as a money-lender, neither shalt thou charge him interest.

26. నీవు ఎప్పుడైనను నీ పొరుగువాని వస్త్రమును కుదవగా తీసికొనినయెడల సూర్యుడు అస్తమించువేళకు అది వానికి మరల అప్పగించుము.

26. If thou shalt at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it to him by the setting of the sun.

27. వాడు కప్పుకొనునది అదే. అది వాని దేహమునకు వస్త్రము; వాడు మరి ఏమి కప్పుకొని పండుకొనును? నేను దయగలవాడను, వాడు నాకు మొఱపెట్టిన యెడల నేను విందును.

27. For that [is] his only covering, it [is] his raiment for his skin: what shall he sleep in? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth to me, that I will hear; for I [am] gracious.

28. నీవు దేవుని నిందింపగూడదు, నీ ప్రజలలోని అధికారిని శపింపకూడదు.
అపో. కార్యములు 23:5

28. Thou shalt not revile the judges, nor curse the ruler of thy people.

29. నీ మొదటి సస్యద్రవ్యములను అర్పింప తడవు చేయ కూడదు. నీ కుమారులలో జ్యేష్ఠుని నాకు అర్పింపవలెను.

29. Thou shalt not delay [to offer] the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give to me.

30. అట్లే నీ యెద్దులను నీ గొఱ్ఱెలను అర్పింపవలెను. ఏడు దినములు అది దాని తల్లియొద్ద ఉండవలెను. ఎనిమిదవ దినమున దానిని నాకియ్యవలెను.

30. Likewise shalt thou do with thy oxen, [and] with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it to me.

31. మీరు నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠింపబడినవారు గనుక పొలములో చీల్చబడిన మాంసమును తినక కుక్కలకు దాని పారవేయ వలెను.

31. And ye shall be holy men to me: neither shall ye eat [any] flesh [that is] torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
