1. రాజైన లెమూయేలు మాటలు, అతని తల్లి అతని కుపదేశించిన దేవోక్తి,

1. THE WORDS OF KING LEMUEL: The prophecie which his mother taught him.

2. నా కుమారుడా, నేనేమందును? నేను కన్న కుమా రుడా, నేనేమందును? నా మ్రొక్కులు మ్రొక్కి కనిన కుమారుడా, నేనే మందును?

2. What my sonne! and what ye sonne of my wombe! and what, O sonne of my desires!

3. నీ బలమును స్త్రీలకియ్యకుము రాజులను నశింపజేయు స్త్రీలతో సహవాసము చేయ కుము

3. Giue not thy strength vnto women, nor thy wayes, which is to destroy Kings.

4. ద్రాక్షారసము త్రాగుట రాజులకు తగదు లెమూయేలూ, అది రాజులకు తగదు మద్యపానాసక్తి అధికారులకు తగదు.

4. It is not for Kings, O Lemuel, it is not for Kings to drink wine nor for princes strog drinke,

5. త్రాగినయెడల వారు కట్టడలను మరతురు దీనులకందరికి అన్యాయము చేయుదురు

5. Lest he drinke and forget the decree, and change the iudgement of all the children of affliction.

6. ప్రాణము పోవుచున్నవానికి మద్యము నియ్యుడి మనోవ్యాకులముగలవారికి ద్రాక్షారసము నియ్యుడి.

6. Giue ye strong drinke vnto him that is readie to perish, and wine vnto them that haue griefe of heart.

7. వారు త్రాగి తమ పేదరికము మరతురు తమ శ్రమను ఇక తలంచకుందురు.

7. Let him drinke, that he may forget his pouertie, and remember his miserie no more.

8. మూగవారికిని దిక్కులేనివారికందరికిని న్యాయము జరుగునట్లు నీ నోరు తెరువుము.

8. Open thy mouth for the domme in the cause of all the children of destruction.

9. నీ నోరు తెరచి న్యాయముగా తీర్పు తీర్చుము దీనులకును శ్రమపడువారికిని దరిద్రులకును న్యాయము జరిగింపుము.

9. Open thy mouth: iudge righteously, and iudge the afflicted, and the poore.

10. గుణవతియైన భార్య దొరుకుట అరుదు అట్టిది ముత్యముకంటె అమూల్యమైనది.

10. Who shall finde a vertuous woman? for her price is farre aboue the pearles.

11. ఆమె పెనిమిటి ఆమెయందు నమ్మికయుంచును అతని లాభప్రాప్తికి వెలితి కలుగదు.

11. The heart of her husband trusteth in her, and he shall haue no neede of spoyle.

12. ఆమె తాను బ్రదుకు దినములన్నియు అతనికి మేలు చేయును గాని కీడేమియు చేయదు.

12. She will doe him good, and not euill all the dayes of her life.

13. ఆమె గొఱ్ఱెబొచ్చును అవిసెనారను వెదకును తన చేతులార వాటితో పనిచేయును.

13. She seeketh wooll and flaxe, and laboureth cheerefully with her handes.

14. వర్తకపు ఓడలు దూరమునుండి ఆహారము తెచ్చునట్లు ఆమె దూరమునుండి ఆహారము తెచ్చుకొనును.

14. She is like the shippes of marchants: shee bringeth her foode from afarre.

15. ఆమె చీకటితోనే లేచి, తన యింటివారికి భోజనము సిద్ధపరచును తన పనికత్తెలకు బత్తెము ఏర్పరచును.

15. And she riseth, whiles it is yet night: and giueth the portion to her houshold, and the ordinarie to her maides.

16. ఆమె పొలమును చూచి దానిని తీసికొనును తాము కూడబెట్టిన ద్రవ్యము పెట్టి ద్రాక్షతోట యొకటి నాటించును.

16. She considereth a field, and getteth it: and with the fruite of her handes she planteth a vineyarde.

17. ఆమె నడికట్టుచేత నడుము బలపరచుకొని చేతులతో బలముగా పనిచేయును

17. She girdeth her loynes with strength, and strengtheneth her armes.

18. తన వ్యాపారలాభము అనుభవముచే తెలిసికొనును రాత్రివేళ ఆమె దీపము ఆరిపోదు.

18. She feeleth that her marchandise is good: her candle is not put out by night.

19. ఆమె పంటెను చేత పట్టుకొనును తన వ్రేళ్లతో కదురు పట్టుకొని వడుకును.

19. She putteth her handes to the wherue, and her handes handle the spindle.

20. దీనులకు తన చెయ్యి చాపును దరిద్రులకు తన చేతులు చాపును

20. She stretcheth out her hand to the poore, and putteth foorth her hands to the needie.

21. తన యింటివారికి చలి తగులునని భయపడదు ఆమె యింటివారందరు రక్తవర్ణ వస్త్రములు ధరించిన వారు.

21. She feareth not the snowe for her familie: for all her familie is clothed with skarlet.

22. ఆమె పరుపులను సిద్ధపరచుకొనును ఆమె బట్టలు సన్నని నారబట్టలు రక్తవర్ణపు వస్త్రములు.

22. She maketh her selfe carpets: fine linen and purple is her garment.

23. ఆమె పెనిమిటి దేశపు పెద్దలతోకూడ కూర్చుం డును గవినియొద్ద పేరుగొనినవాడై యుండును.

23. Her husband is knowen in the gates, when he sitteth with the Elders of the land.

24. ఆమె నారబట్టలు నేయించి అమ్మునునడికట్లను వర్తకులకు అమ్మును.

24. She maketh sheetes, and selleth them, and giueth girdels vnto the marchant.

25. బలమును ఘనతయు ఆమెకు వస్త్రములు ఆమె రాబోవు కాలము విషయమై నిర్భయముగా ఉండును.

25. Strength and honour is her clothing, and in the latter day she shall reioyce.

26. జ్ఞానము కలిగి తన నోరు తెరచును కృపగల ఉపదేశము ఆమె బోధించును.

26. She openeth her mouth with wisdome, and the lawe of grace is in her tongue.

27. ఆమె తన యింటివారి నడతలను బాగుగా కని పెట్టును పనిచేయకుండ ఆమె భోజనము చేయదు.

27. She ouerseeth the wayes of her housholde, and eateth not the bread of ydlenes.

28. ఆమె కుమారులు లేచి ఆమెను ధన్యురాలందరు చాలమంది కుమార్తెలు పతివ్రతాధర్మము ననుసరించి

28. Her children rise vp, and call her blessed: her husband also shall prayse her, saying,

29. యున్నారు గాని వారందరిని నీవు మించినదానవు అని ఆమె పెనిమిటి ఆమెను పొగడును.

29. Many daughters haue done vertuously: but thou surmountest them all.

30. అందము మోసకరము, సౌందర్యము వ్యర్థము యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగిన స్త్రీ కొని యాడబడును

30. Fauour is deceitfull, and beautie is vanitie: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praysed.

31. చేసిన పనినిబట్టి అట్టిదానికి ప్రతిఫలమియ్యదగును గవునులయొద్ద ఆమె పనులు ఆమెను కొనియాడును.

31. Giue her of the fruite of her hands, and let her owne workes prayse her in the gates.
