1. రాజైన లెమూయేలు మాటలు, అతని తల్లి అతని కుపదేశించిన దేవోక్తి,

1. My words have been spoken by God- the oracular answer of a king, whom his mother instructed.

2. నా కుమారుడా, నేనేమందును? నేను కన్న కుమా రుడా, నేనేమందును? నా మ్రొక్కులు మ్రొక్కి కనిన కుమారుడా, నేనే మందును?

2. What will you keep, my son, what? The words of God? My firstborn son, I speak to you: what? Son of my womb? What? Son of my vows?

3. నీ బలమును స్త్రీలకియ్యకుము రాజులను నశింపజేయు స్త్రీలతో సహవాసము చేయ కుము

3. Give not your wealth to women, nor your mind and living to remorse. Do all things with counsel: drink wine with counsel.

4. ద్రాక్షారసము త్రాగుట రాజులకు తగదు లెమూయేలూ, అది రాజులకు తగదు మద్యపానాసక్తి అధికారులకు తగదు.

4. Princes are prone to anger: let them then not drink wine:

5. త్రాగినయెడల వారు కట్టడలను మరతురు దీనులకందరికి అన్యాయము చేయుదురు

5. lest they drink, and forget wisdom, and not be able to judge the poor rightly.

6. ప్రాణము పోవుచున్నవానికి మద్యము నియ్యుడి మనోవ్యాకులముగలవారికి ద్రాక్షారసము నియ్యుడి.

6. Give strong drink to those that are in sorrow, and the wine to drink to those in pain,

7. వారు త్రాగి తమ పేదరికము మరతురు తమ శ్రమను ఇక తలంచకుందురు.

7. that they may forget their poverty, and may not remember their troubles anymore.

8. మూగవారికిని దిక్కులేనివారికందరికిని న్యాయము జరుగునట్లు నీ నోరు తెరువుము.

8. Open your mouth with the word of God, and judge all fairly.

9. నీ నోరు తెరచి న్యాయముగా తీర్పు తీర్చుము దీనులకును శ్రమపడువారికిని దరిద్రులకును న్యాయము జరిగింపుము.

9. Open your mouth and judge justly, and plead the cause of the poor and weak.

10. గుణవతియైన భార్య దొరుకుట అరుదు అట్టిది ముత్యముకంటె అమూల్యమైనది.

10. Who shall find a virtuous woman? For such a one is more valuable than precious stones.

11. ఆమె పెనిమిటి ఆమెయందు నమ్మికయుంచును అతని లాభప్రాప్తికి వెలితి కలుగదు.

11. The heart of her husband trusts in her; such a one shall stand in no need of fine spoils.

12. ఆమె తాను బ్రదుకు దినములన్నియు అతనికి మేలు చేయును గాని కీడేమియు చేయదు.

12. For she employs all her living for her husband's good.

13. ఆమె గొఱ్ఱెబొచ్చును అవిసెనారను వెదకును తన చేతులార వాటితో పనిచేయును.

13. Gathering wool and flax, she makes it serviceable with her hands.

14. వర్తకపు ఓడలు దూరమునుండి ఆహారము తెచ్చునట్లు ఆమె దూరమునుండి ఆహారము తెచ్చుకొనును.

14. She is like a ship trading from a distance- so she procures her livelihood.

15. ఆమె చీకటితోనే లేచి, తన యింటివారికి భోజనము సిద్ధపరచును తన పనికత్తెలకు బత్తెము ఏర్పరచును.

15. And she rises by night, and gives food to her household, and [appointed] tasks to her maidens.

16. ఆమె పొలమును చూచి దానిని తీసికొనును తాము కూడబెట్టిన ద్రవ్యము పెట్టి ద్రాక్షతోట యొకటి నాటించును.

16. She views a farm, and buys it; and with the fruit of her hands she plants and a possession.

17. ఆమె నడికట్టుచేత నడుము బలపరచుకొని చేతులతో బలముగా పనిచేయును
లూకా 12:35

17. She strongly girds her loins, and strengthens her arms for work.

18. తన వ్యాపారలాభము అనుభవముచే తెలిసికొనును రాత్రివేళ ఆమె దీపము ఆరిపోదు.

18. And she finds by experience that working is good, and her lamp does not go out all night.

19. ఆమె పంటెను చేత పట్టుకొనును తన వ్రేళ్లతో కదురు పట్టుకొని వడుకును.

19. She reaches forth her arms to needful works, and applies her hands to the spindle.

20. దీనులకు తన చెయ్యి చాపును దరిద్రులకు తన చేతులు చాపును

20. And she opens her hands to the needy, and reaches out fruit to the poor.

21. తన యింటివారికి చలి తగులునని భయపడదు ఆమె యింటివారందరు రక్తవర్ణ వస్త్రములు ధరించిన వారు.

21. Her husband is not anxious about those at home when he tarries anywhere abroad: for all her household are clothed.

22. ఆమె పరుపులను సిద్ధపరచుకొనును ఆమె బట్టలు సన్నని నారబట్టలు రక్తవర్ణపు వస్త్రములు.

22. She makes for her husband clothes of double texture, and garments for herself of fine linen and scarlet.

23. ఆమె పెనిమిటి దేశపు పెద్దలతోకూడ కూర్చుం డును గవినియొద్ద పేరుగొనినవాడై యుండును.

23. And her husband becomes a distinguished [person] in the gates, when he sits in council with the old inhabitants of the land.

24. ఆమె నారబట్టలు నేయించి అమ్మునునడికట్లను వర్తకులకు అమ్మును.

24. She makes fine linens, and sells sashes to the Canaanites; she opens her mouth heedfully and with propriety, and controls her tongue.

25. బలమును ఘనతయు ఆమెకు వస్త్రములు ఆమె రాబోవు కాలము విషయమై నిర్భయముగా ఉండును.

25. She puts on strength and honor, and rejoices in the last days.

26. జ్ఞానము కలిగి తన నోరు తెరచును కృపగల ఉపదేశము ఆమె బోధించును.

26. But she opens her mouth wisely, and according to law.

27. ఆమె తన యింటివారి నడతలను బాగుగా కని పెట్టును పనిచేయకుండ ఆమె భోజనము చేయదు.

27. The ways of her household are careful, and she eats not the bread of idleness.

28. ఆమె కుమారులు లేచి ఆమెను ధన్యురాలందరు చాలమంది కుమార్తెలు పతివ్రతాధర్మము ననుసరించి

28. And her kindness to them sets up her children for them, and they grow rich, and her husband praises her.

29. యున్నారు గాని వారందరిని నీవు మించినదానవు అని ఆమె పెనిమిటి ఆమెను పొగడును.

29. Many daughters have obtained wealth, many have wrought valiantly, but you have exceeded, you have surpassed all.

30. అందము మోసకరము, సౌందర్యము వ్యర్థము యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగిన స్త్రీ కొని యాడబడును

30. Charms are false, and woman's beauty is vain: for it is a wise woman that is blessed, and let her praise the fear the Lord.

31. చేసిన పనినిబట్టి అట్టిదానికి ప్రతిఫలమియ్యదగును గవునులయొద్ద ఆమె పనులు ఆమెను కొనియాడును.

31. Give her of the fruit of her lips; and let her husband be praised in the gates.
