1. విధవరాండ్రు తమకు దోపుడుసొమ్ముగా ఉండవలెననియు

1. Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression,

2. తలిదండ్రులులేనివారిని కొల్ల పెట్టుకొనవలెననియు కోరి న్యాయవిమర్శ జరిగింపకుండ దరిద్రులను తొలగించుటకును నా ప్రజలలోని బీదల న్యాయమును తప్పించుటకును అన్యాయపు విధులను విధించువారికిని బాధకరమైన శాసనములను వ్రాయించువారికిని శ్రమ.

2. to turn aside the needy from justice and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey!

3. దర్శనదినమున దూరమునుండి వచ్చు ప్రళయదినమున మీరేమి చేయుదురు? సహాయమునొందుటకు ఎవరియొద్దకు పారిపోవుదురు?మీ ఐశ్వర్యమును ఎక్కడ దాచుకొందురు?
1 పేతురు 2:12

3. What will you do on the day of punishment, in the storm which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help, and where will you leave your wealth?

4. వారు చెరపట్టబడినవారి క్రింద దాగుకొనుచున్నారు హతులైనవారి క్రింద కూలుచున్నారు ఈలాగు జరిగినను యెహోవా కోపము చల్లారలేదు ఆయన బాహువు ఇంకను చాపబడియున్నది.

4. Nothing remains but to crouch among the prisoners or fall among the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away and his hand is stretched out still.

5. అష్షూరీయులకు శ్రమ వారు నా కోపమునకు సాధనమైన దండము నా దుడ్డుకఱ్ఱ నా ఉగ్రత వారిచేతిలో ఉన్నది.

5. Ah, Assyria, the rod of my anger, the staff of my fury!

6. భక్తిహీనులగు జనములమీదికి నేను వారిని పంపెదను దోపుడుసొమ్ము దోచుకొనుటకును కొల్లపెట్టుటకును వీధులను త్రొక్కించుటకును నా ఉగ్రతకు పాత్రులగు జనులనుగూర్చి వారి కాజ్ఞాపించెదను.

6. Against a godless nation I send him, and against the people of my wrath I command him, to take spoil and seize plunder, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

7. అయితే అతడు ఆలాగనుకొనడు అది అతని ఆలోచనకాదు; నాశనము చేయవలెననియు చాల జనములను నిర్మూలము చేయవలెననియు అతని ఆలోచన.

7. But he does not so intend, and his mind does not so think; but it is in his mind to destroy, and to cut off nations not a few;

8. అతడిట్లనుకొనుచున్నాడు నా యధిపతులందరు మహారాజులు కారా?

8. for he says: 'Are not my commanders all kings?

9. కల్నో కర్కెమీషువలె నుండలేదా? హమాతు అర్పాదువలె నుండలేదా? షోమ్రోను దమస్కువలె నుండలేదా?

9. Is not Calno like Carchemish? Is not Hamath like Arpad? Is not Samaria like Damascus?

10. విగ్రహములను పూజించు రాజ్యములు నా చేతికి చిక్కినవి గదా? వాటి విగ్రహములు యెరూషలేము షోమ్రోనుల విగ్రహములకంటె ఎక్కువైనవి గదా?

10. As my hand has reached to the kingdoms of the idols whose graven images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,

11. షోమ్రోనునకును దాని విగ్రహములకును నేను చేసినట్లు యెరూషలేమునకును దాని విగ్రహములకును చేయక పోదునా అనెను.

11. shall I not do to Jerusalem and her idols as I have done to Samaria and her images?'

12. కావున సీయోను కొండమీదను యెరూషలేము మీదను ప్రభువు తన కార్యమంతయు నెరవేర్చిన తరువాత నేను అష్షూరురాజుయొక్క హృదయగర్వమువలని ఫలమునుబట్టియు అతని కన్నుల అహంకారపు చూపులనుబట్టియు అతని శిక్షింతును.

12. When the Lord has finished all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem he will punish the arrogant boasting of the king of Assyria and his haughty pride.

13. అతడునేను వివేకిని నా బాహుబలముచేతను నాబుద్ధిచేతను ఆలాగుచేసితిని నేను జనముల సరిహద్దులను మార్చి వారి ఖజానాలను దోచుకొంటిని మహా బలిష్ఠుడనై సింహాసనాసీనులను త్రోసివేసితిని

13. For he says: 'By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom, for I have understanding; I have removed the boundaries of peoples, and have plundered their treasures; like a bull I have brought down those who sat on thrones.

14. పక్షిగూటిలో ఒకడు చెయ్యివేసినట్టు జనముల ఆస్తి నా చేత చిక్కెను. ఒకడు విడువబడిన గుడ్లను ఏరుకొనునప్పుడు రెక్కను ఆడించునదియైనను నోరు తెరచునదియైనను కిచకిచలాడునదియైనను లేకపోవునట్లు నిరభ్యంతరముగా నేను సర్వలోకమును ఏరుకొను చున్నానని అనుకొనును.

14. My hand has found like a nest the wealth of the peoples; and as men gather eggs that have been forsaken so I have gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved a wing, or opened the mouth, or chirped.'

15. గొడ్డలి తనతో నరుకువాని చూచి అతిశయపడునా? రంపము తనతో కోయువానిమీద పొగడుకొనునా? కోల తన్నెత్తువానిని ఆడించినట్లును దండము కఱ్ఱకానివానిని ఎత్తినట్లును ఉండును గదా?

15. Shall the axe vaunt itself over him who hews with it, or the saw magnify itself against him who wields it? As if a rod should wield him who lifts it, or as if a staff should lift him who is not wood!

16. ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా బలిసిన అష్షూరీయులమీదికి క్షయరోగము పంపును వారిక్రింద అగ్నిజ్వాలలుగల కొరవికట్టె రాజును.

16. Therefore the Lord, the LORD of hosts, will send wasting sickness among his stout warriors, and under his glory a burning will be kindled, like the burning of fire.

17. ఇశ్రాయేలుయొక్క వెలుగు అగ్నియును అతని పరిశుద్ధ దేవుడు జ్వాలయునగును; అది అష్షూరుయొక్క బలురక్కసిచెట్లకును గచ్చ పొదలకును అంటుకొని ఒక్కదినమున వాటిని మింగివేయును.

17. The light of Israel will become a fire, and his Holy One a flame; and it will burn and devour his thorns and briers in one day.

18. ఒకడు వ్యాధిగ్రస్తుడై క్షీణించిపోవునట్లుగా శరీర ప్రాణములతోకూడ అతని అడవికిని అతని ఫలభరితమైన పొలములకును కలిగిన మహిమను అది నాశనము చేయును.

18. The glory of his forest and of his fruitful land the LORD will destroy, both soul and body, and it will be as when a sick man wastes away.

19. అతని అడవిచెట్ల శేషము కొంచెమగును బాలుడు వాటిని లెక్క పెట్టవచ్చును.

19. The remnant of the trees of his forest will be so few that a child can write them down.

20. ఆ దినమున ఇశ్రాయేలు శేషమును యాకోబు కుటుంబికులలో తప్పించుకొనినవారును తమ్మును హతము చేసినవానిని ఇకను ఆశ్రయింపక సత్యమునుబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పరిశుద్ధదేవుడైన యెహోవాను నిజముగా ఆశ్రయించెదరు.

20. In that day the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more lean upon him that smote them, but will lean upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

21. శేషము తిరుగును, యాకోబు శేషము బలవంతుడగు దేవునివైపు తిరుగును.

21. A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.

22. నీ జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలు సముద్రపు ఇసుకవలె ఉండి నను దానిలో శేషమే తిరుగును, సమూలనాశనము నిర్ణయింపబడెను. నీతి ప్రవాహమువలె వచ్చును
రోమీయులకు 9:27-28

22. For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return. Destruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness.

23. ఏలయనగా తాను నిర్ణయించిన సమూలనాశనము ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా సర్వలోకమున కలుగజేయును.
రోమీయులకు 9:27-28

23. For the Lord, the LORD of hosts, will make a full end, as decreed, in the midst of all the earth.

24. ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు సీయోనులో నివసించుచున్న నా జనులారా, ఐగుప్తీయులు చేసినట్టు అష్షూరు కఱ్ఱతో నిన్ను కొట్టి నీమీద తన దండము ఎత్తినను వానికి భయపడకుము. ఇకను కొద్ది కాలమైన తరువాత నా కోపము చల్లారును

24. Therefore thus says the Lord, the LORD of hosts: 'O my people, who dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrians when they smite with the rod and lift up their staff against you as the Egyptians did.

25. వారిని నాశనము చేయుటకు నా ఉగ్రత తిరుగును.

25. For in a very little while my indignation will come to an end, and my anger will be directed to their destruction.

26. ఓరేబు బండయొద్ద మిద్యానును హతము చేసినట్లు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా తన కొరడాలను వానిమీద ఆడించును. ఆయన దండము సముద్రమువరకు వచ్చును ఐగుప్తీయులు దండమెత్తినట్లు ఆయన దాని నెత్తును.

26. And the LORD of hosts will wield against them a scourge, as when he smote Midian at the rock of Oreb; and his rod will be over the sea, and he will lift it as he did in Egypt.

27. ఆ దినమున నీ భుజముమీదనుండి అతని బరువు తీసి వేయబడును. నీ మెడమీదనుండి అతని కాడి కొట్టివేయబడును నీవు బలిసినందున ఆ కాడి విరుగగొట్టబడును.

27. And in that day his burden will depart from your shoulder, and his yoke will be destroyed from your neck.' He has gone up from Rimmon,

28. అష్షూరీయులు ఆయాతుమీద పడుచున్నారు మిగ్రోను మార్గముగా పోవుచున్నారు మిక్మషులో తమ సామగ్రి ఉంచుచున్నారు

28. he has come to Aiath; he has passed through Migron, at Michmash he stores his baggage;

29. వారు కొండసందు దాటి వచ్చుచున్నారు రామా వణకుచున్నది గెబలో బసచేతము రండని అనుచున్నారు సౌలుగిబ్యా నివాసులు పారిపోవుదురు.

29. they have crossed over the pass, at Geba they lodge for the night; Ramah trembles, Gibeah of Saul has fled.

30. గల్లీములారా, బిగ్గరగా కేకలువేయుడి లాయిషా, ఆలకింపుము అయ్యయ్యో, అనాతోతు

30. Cry aloud, O daughter of Gallim! Hearken, O Laishah! Answer her, O Anathoth!

31. మద్మేనా జనులు పారిపోవుదురు గిబానివాసులు పారిపోదురు

31. Madmenah is in flight, the inhabitants of Gebim flee for safety.

32. ఈ దినమే దండు నోబులో దిగును ఈ దినమే సీయోను కుమారి పర్వతమను యెరూషలేము కొండమీద వారు తమ చెయ్యి ఆడించుదురు

32. This very day he will halt at Nob, he will shake his fist at the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

33. చూడుడి ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా భీకరముగా కొమ్మలను తెగగొట్టగా మిక్కిలి యెత్తుగల చెట్లు నరకబడును ఉన్నతమైనవి పడిపోవును.

33. Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts will lop the boughs with terrifying power; the great in height will be hewn down, and the lofty will be brought low.

34. ఆయన అడవి పొదలను ఇనుపకత్తితో కొట్టివేయును లెబానోను బలవంతుడైన యొకనిచేత కూలిపోవును.

34. He will cut down the thickets of the forest with an axe, and Lebanon with its majestic trees will fall.
