1. ఆమోజు కుమారుడైన యెషయాకు బబులోనుగూర్చి ప్రత్యక్షమైన దేవోక్తి

1. This is a message about Babylon, which Isaiah son of Amoz received from God.

2. జనులు ప్రధానుల ద్వారములలో ప్రవేశించుటకు చెట్లులేని కొండమీద ధ్వజము నిలువబెట్టుడి ఎలుగెత్తి వారిని పిలువుడి సంజ్ఞ చేయుడి.

2. On the top of a barren hill raise the battle flag! Shout to the soldiers and raise your arm as the signal for them to attack the gates of the proud city.

3. నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితులైనవారికి నేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియున్నాను నా కోపము తీర్చుకొనవలెనని నా పరాక్రమశాలురను పిలిపించియున్నాను నా ప్రభావమునుబట్టి హర్షించువారిని పిలిపించి యున్నాను.

3. The LORD has called out his proud and confident soldiers to fight a holy war and punish those he is angry with.

4. బహుజనులఘోషవలె కొండలలోని జనసమూహము వలన కలుగు శబ్దము వినుడి కూడుకొను రాజ్యముల జనములు చేయు అల్లరి శబ్దము వినుడి సైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా యుద్ధమునకై తన సేనను వ్యూహక్రమముగా ఏర్పరచుచున్నాడు

4. Listen to the noise on the mountains---the sound of a great crowd of people, the sound of nations and kingdoms gathering. The LORD of Armies is preparing his troops for battle.

5. సర్వలోకమును పాడుచేయుటకై ఆయన దూరదేశమునుండి ఆకాశ దిగంతముల నుండి యెహోవాయును ఆయన క్రోధము తీర్చు ఆయుధములును వచ్చుచున్నారు.

5. They are coming from far-off countries at the ends of the earth. In his anger the LORD is coming to devastate the whole country.

6. యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుచున్నది ఘోషించుడి అది ప్రళయమువలె సర్వశక్తుడగు దేవుని యొద్దనుండి వచ్చును.

6. Howl in pain! The day of the LORD is near, the day when the Almighty brings destruction.

7. అందుచేత బాహువులన్నియు దుర్బలములగును ప్రతివాని గుండె కరగిపోవును

7. Everyone's hands will hang limp, and everyone's courage will fail.

8. జనులు విభ్రాంతినొందుదురు వేదనలు దుఃఖములు వారికి కలుగును ప్రసవవేదన పడుదానివలె వారు వేదనపడెదరు ఒకరినొకరు తేరి చూతురు వారి ముఖములు జ్వాలలవలె ఎఱ్ఱబారును.

8. They will all be terrified and overcome with pain, like the pain of a woman in labor. They will look at each other in fear, and their faces will burn with shame.

9. యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుచున్నది. దేశమును పాడుచేయుటకును పాపులను బొత్తిగా దానిలోనుండకుండ నశింపజేయుట కును క్రూరమైన ఉగ్రతతోను ప్రచండమైన కోపము తోను అది వచ్చును.

9. The day of the LORD is coming---that cruel day of his fierce anger and fury. The earth will be made a wilderness, and every sinner will be destroyed.

10. ఆకాశ నక్షత్రములును నక్షత్రరాసులును తమ వెలుగు ప్రకాశింపనియ్యవు ఉదయకాలమున సూర్యుని చీకటి కమ్మును చంద్రుడు ప్రకాశింపడు.

10. Every star and every constellation will stop shining, the sun will be dark when it rises, and the moon will give no light.

11. లోకుల చెడుతనమునుబట్టియు దుష్టుల దోషమునుబట్టియు నేను వారిని శిక్షింపబోవు చున్నాను అహంకారుల అతిశయమును మాన్పించెదను బలాత్కారుల గర్వమును అణచివేసెదను.

11. The LORD says, 'I will bring disaster on the earth and punish all wicked people for their sins. I will humble everyone who is proud and punish everyone who is arrogant and cruel.

12. బంగారుకంటె మనుష్యులును ఓఫీరు దేశపు సువర్ణముకంటె నరులును అరుదుగా ఉండ జేసెదను.

12. Those who survive will be scarcer than gold.

13. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఉగ్రతకును ఆయన కోపాగ్ని దినమునకును ఆకాశము వణకునట్లును భూమి తన స్థానము తప్పునట్లును నేను చేసెదను.

13. I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place on that day when I, the LORD Almighty, show my anger.

14. అప్పుడు తరుమబడుచున్న జింకవలెను పోగుచేయని గొఱ్ఱెలవలెను జనులు తమ తమ స్వజనులతట్టు తిరుగుదురు తమ తమ స్వదేశములకు పారిపోవుదురు.

14. 'The foreigners living in Babylon will run away to their homelands, scattering like deer escaping from hunters, like sheep without a shepherd.

15. పట్టబడిన ప్రతివాడును కత్తివాత కూలును తరిమి పట్టబడిన ప్రతివాడును కత్తివాత కూలును

15. Anyone who is caught will be stabbed to death.

16. వారు చూచుచుండగా వారి పసిపిల్లలు నలుగ గొట్టబడుదురు వారి యిండ్లు దోచుకొనబడును వారి భార్యలు చెరుపబడుదురు.

16. While they look on helplessly, their babies will be battered to death, their houses will be looted, and their wives will be raped.'

17. వారిమీద పడుటకు నేను మాదీయులను రేపెదను వీరు వెండిని లక్ష్యము చేయరు సువర్ణముకూడ వారికి రమ్యమైనది కాదు

17. The LORD says, 'I am stirring up the Medes to attack Babylon. They care nothing for silver and are not tempted by gold.

18. వారి విండ్లు ¸యౌవనస్థులను నలుగగొట్టును గర్భఫలమందు వారు జాలిపడరు పిల్లలను చూచి కరుణింపరు.

18. With their bows and arrows they will kill the young men. They will show no mercy to babies and take no pity on children.

19. అప్పుడు రాజ్యములకు భూషణమును కల్దీయులకు అతిశ యాస్పదమును మాహాత్మ్యమునగు బబులోను దేవుడు పాడుచేసిన సొదొమ గొమొఱ్ఱాలవలెనగును.

19. Babylonia is the most beautiful kingdom of all; it is the pride of its people. But I, the LORD, will overthrow Babylon as I did Sodom and Gomorrah!

20. అది మరెన్నడును నివాసస్థలముగా నుండదు తరతరములకు దానిలో ఎవడును కాపురముండడు అరబీయులలో ఒకడైనను అక్కడ తన గుడారము వేయడు గొఱ్ఱెలకాపరులు తమ మందలను అక్కడ పరుండ నియ్యరు

20. No one will ever live there again. No wandering Arab will ever pitch a tent there, and no shepherd will ever pasture a flock there.

21. నక్కలు అక్కడ పండుకొనును గురుపోతులు వారి యిండ్లలో ఉండును నిప్పుకోళ్లు అక్కడ నివసించును కొండమేకలు అక్కడ గంతులు వేయును

21. It will be a place where desert animals live and where owls build their nests. Ostriches will live there, and wild goats will prance through the ruins.

22. వారి నగరులలో నక్కలును వారి సుఖవిలాస మందిర ములలో అడవికుక్కలును మొరలిడును ఆ దేశమునకు కాలము సమీపించియున్నది దాని దినములు సంకుచితములు.

22. The towers and palaces will echo with the cries of hyenas and jackals. Babylon's time has come! Her days are almost over.'
