1. అరణ్యపు తట్టుననున్న సెలనుండి దేశము నేలువానికి తగిన గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలను కప్పముగా సీయోను కుమార్తె పర్వతమునకు పంపుడి

1. Send ye the lamb due to the ruler of the land, From Sela towards the desert, Unto the mount of the daughter of Zion;

2. గూటినుండి చెదరి ఇటు అటు ఎగురు పక్షులవలె అర్నోను రేవులయొద్ద మోయాబు కుమార్తెలు కన బడుదురు.

2. Yet shall it be that Like wandering birds from a nest cast forth, Shall be the daughters of Moab, at the fords of Amen.

3. ఆలోచన చెప్పుము విమర్శచేయుము. చీకటి కమ్మినట్లు మధ్యాహ్నమున నీ నీడ మా మీద ఉండనియ్యుము. చెదరినవారిని దాచిపెట్టుము పారిపోయినవారిని పట్టియ్యకుము

3. Bring thou, in counsel, Execute thou judgment, Make as the night, thy shadow in the midst of high noon, Hide thou the outcasts, The wanderer, do not thou reveal.

4. నేను వెలివేసినవారిని నీతో నివసింపనిమ్ము దోచుకొనువారు వారిమీదికి రాకుండునట్లు మోయా బీయులకు ఆశ్రయముగా ఉండుము బలాత్కారులు ఓడిపోయిరి సంహారము మాని పోయెను. అణగద్రొక్కువారు దేశములో లేకుండ నశించిరి.

4. Let mine own outcasts, sojourn with thee, O Moab, become thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler, For vanished is the oppressor, At an end is extortion, They who tread down have ceased out of the land.

5. కృపవలన సింహాసనము స్థాపింపబడును సత్యసంపన్నుడై దానిమీద కూర్చుండి తీర్పుతీర్చు నొకడు కలడు దావీదు గుడారములో అతడాసీనుడై న్యాయము విచారించుచు న్యాయము జరిగించుటకై తీవరించును.

5. So shall be established, in lovingkindness, a throne, And one shall sit thereon, in truth, in the home of David, Judging and seeking justice and speeding righteousness.

6. మోయాబీయులు బహు గర్వముగలవారని మేము విని యున్నాము వారి గర్వమును గూర్చియు వారి అహంకార గర్వక్రోధములను గూర్చియు విని యున్నాము. వారు వదరుట వ్యర్థము.

6. We have heard of the arrogance of Moab, Proud exceedingly! His haughtiness and his arrogance and his passion, Not true, are his boastings.

7. కావున మోయాబీయులు మోయాబునుగూర్చి అంగ లార్చుదురు అందరును అంగలార్చుదురు మోయాబీయులారా కేవలము పాడైయున్న కీర్హరెశెతు ద్రాక్షపండ్ల అడలు దొరకక మీరు మూలుగుదురు.

7. Therefore shall, Moab, howl for, Moab, All that belong to her, shall wail, For the ruins of Kir-hareseth, shall they moan out Utterly stricken!

8. ఏలయనగా హెష్బోను పొలములు సిబ్మా ద్రాక్షా వల్లులు వాడిపోయెను దాని శ్రేష్ఠమైన ద్రాక్షావల్లులను జనముల అధికారులు అణగద్రొక్కిరి. అవి యాజరువరకు వ్యాపించెను అరణ్యములోనికిప్రాకెను దాని తీగెలు విశాలముగా వ్యాపించి సముద్రమును దాటెను.

8. For, the fields of Heshbon are withered The vine of Sibmah, the owners of nations, have broken off ruddy branches, Unto Jazer, had they reached, They had spread abroad to the desert, Her boughs, had stretched forth, had gone over to the sea.

9. అందువలన యాజరు ఏడ్చినట్టు నేను సిబ్మా ద్రాక్షా వల్లుల నిమిత్తము ఏడ్చెదను హెష్బోనూ, ఏలాలే, నా కన్నీళ్లచేత నిన్ను తడిపె దను ఏలయనగా ద్రాక్షతొట్టి త్రొక్కి సంతోషించునట్లు నీ శత్రువులు నీ వేసవికాల ఫలములమీదను నీ కోత మీదను పడి కేకలు వేయుదురు.

9. For this cause, will I bewail, in the wailing of Jazer, The vine of Sibmah, I will drench thee with my tears, O Heshbon and Elealeh, For, upon thy fruit-harvest, and upon thy grain-harvest, the battle-shout, hath fallen.

10. ఆనందసంతోషములు ఫలభరితమైన పొలమునుండి మానిపోయెను ద్రాక్షలతోటలో సంగీతము వినబడదు ఉత్సాహ ధ్వని వినబడదు గానుగులలో ద్రాక్షగెలలను త్రొక్కువాడెవడును లేడు ద్రాక్షలతొట్టి త్రొక్కువాని సంతోషపుకేకలు నేను మాన్పించియున్నాను.

10. Now shall be withdrawn rejoicing and exultation out of the garden-land, And, in the vineyards, shall be neither singing nor shouting, Wine in the winepress, the treader, shall not tread, The vintage-shout, have I made to cease.

11. మోయాబు నిమిత్తము నా గుండె కొట్టుకొనుచున్నది కీర్హరెశు నిమిత్తము నా ఆంత్రములు సితారావలె వాగుచున్నవి.

11. For this cause, mine inward parts for Moab, like a lyre, shall make a plaintive sound, Yea what is within me, for Kir-heres.

12. మోయాబీయులు ఉన్నత స్థలమునకు వచ్చి ఆయాస పడి ప్రార్థన చేయుటకు తమ గుడిలో ప్రవేశించునప్పుడు వారికేమియు దొరకకపోవును.

12. And it shall be When it is seen that Moab hath laboured in vain on the high place, He shall enter into his holy place to pray, and shall not prevail,

13. పూర్వకాలమున యెహోవా మోయాబునుగూర్చి సెలవిచ్చిన వాక్యము ఇదే; అయితే యెహోవా ఇప్పుడీలాగున ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాడు

13. This, is the word which Yahweh spake concerning Moab in, time past;

14. కూలివాని లెక్కప్రకారము మూడేండ్లలోగా మోయాబీయులయొక్క ప్రభావమును వారిగొప్ప వారి సమూహమును అవమానపరచబడును శేషము బహు కొద్దిగా మిగులును అది అతి స్వల్పముగా నుండును.

14. But now, hath Yahweh spoken saying, In three years, as the years of a hireling, shall the glory of Moab be diminished, with all the great multitude, even a very small remnant, of no account.
