1. తూరునుగూర్చిన దేవోక్తి తర్షీషు ఓడలారా, అంగలార్చుడి తూరు పాడైపోయెను ఇల్లయినను లేదు ప్రవేశమార్గమైనను లేదు కిత్తీయుల దేశమునుండి ఆ సంగతి వారికి వెల్లడి చేయబడెను.
మత్తయి 11:21-22

1. An heavy burthen upon Tyrus. Mourn ye ships of Tharsis, for she is thrown down to the ground, and conquered of them that are come from Cethim.

2. సముద్రతీరవాసులారా, అంగలార్చుడి సముద్రము దాటుచుండు సీదోను వర్తకులు తమ సరకులతో నిన్ను నింపిరి.

2. The indwellers of the Islands, the merchants of Sidon, and they that occupied the sea, (of whom thou wast full sometime) are at a point.

3. షీహోరు నది ధాన్యము నైలునది పంట సముద్రముమీద నీలోనికి తేబడుచుండెను తూరువలన జనములకు లాభము వచ్చెను.

3. For by sea were there fruits brought unto thee, and all manner of corn by water. Thou wast the common market of all people.

4. సీదోనూ, సిగ్గుపడుము, సముద్రము సముద్రదుర్గము మాటలాడుచున్నది నేను ప్రసవవేదనపడనిదానను పిల్లలు కననిదానను ¸యౌవనస్థులను పోషింపనిదానను కన్యకలను పెంచనిదానను.

4. Sidon is sorry for it, yea and all the power of the sea complaineth, and sayeth: O that I had never traveled with child, that I had never born any, that I had neither nourished boy, nor brought up daughter.

5. ఆ వర్తమానము ఐగుప్తీయులు విని తూరును గూర్చి మిక్కిలి దుఃఖింతురు.

5. As soon as Egypt perceiveth it, she will be as sorry as Tyrus it self.

6. తర్షీషునకు వెళ్లుడి సముద్రతీరవాసులారా, అంగ లార్చుడి.

6. Go over the sea, mourn ye that dwell in the Isles.

7. నీకు సంతోషము కలుగజేసిన పట్టణమిదేనా? ప్రాచీన కాలముననుండిన పట్టణమిదేనా? పరదేశనివాసముచేయుటకు దూరప్రయాణముచేసిన దిదేనా?

7. Is not that the glorious city, which hath been of long antiquity? Whose natives dwelling far off, commend her so greatly?

8. దాని వర్తకులు రాజసమానులు దాని వ్యాపారులు భూనివాసులలో ఘనులు కిరీటముల నిచ్చుచుండు తూరుకు ఈలాగు చేయ నెవడు ఉద్దేశించెను?

8. Who hath devised such things upon Tyrus the crown of all cities, whose merchants and Captains were the highest and principal of the world?

9. సర్వసౌందర్య గర్వాతిశయమును అపవిత్రపరచుట కును భూమిమీదనున్న సర్వఘనులను అవమానపరచుటకును సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు చేయ నుద్దేశించెను.

9. Even the LORD of Hosts hath devised it, that he may put down all pomp, and minish all the Glory of the world.

10. తర్షీషుకుమారీ, నీ దేశమునకిక నడికట్టు లేకపోయెను నైలునది ప్రవహించునట్లు దానిమీద ప్రవహించుము.

10. Go thorow thy land (O thou daughter of the sea) as men go over the water, and there is not a girdle more.

11. ఆయన సముద్రముమీద తన చెయ్యి చాపెను రాజ్యములను కంపింపజేసెను కనానుకోటలను నశింపజేయుటకు యెహోవా దాని గూర్చి ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

11. Thus the LORD that removeth the kingdoms, hath taken in hand against that mighty Canaan to root(rote) it out: hath stretched out his hand over the sea,

12. మరియు ఆయన సీదోను కన్యకా, చెరపబడినదానా, నీకికను సంతోషముండదు నీవు లేచి కిత్తీముకు దాటి పొమ్ము అక్కడనైనను నీకు నెమ్మది కలుగదు

12. and said: From hence forth shalt thou make no more mirth, O thou daughter of Sidon: for thou shalt be put down of the Cethens. Stand up therefore, and go where the enemy will carry thee, where thou shalt also have no rest.

13. ఇదిగో కల్దీయుల దేశమును చూడుము వారికను జనముగా ఉండరు అష్షూరీయులు దానిని అడవిమృగములకు నివాసముగా చేసియున్నారు. వారు కోటలు కట్టించి దాని నగరులను పడగొట్టి యున్నారు.

13. Behold, (for thine example) The Chaldees were such a people, that no man was like them, Assur builded them: he set up his castles and palaces, and broke them down again.

14. తర్షీషు ఓడలారా, అంగలార్చుడి, మీ దుర్గము పాడై పోయెను.

14. And therefore mourn (ye ships of the sea) for your power shall be thrown down.

15. ఒక రాజు ఏలుబడిలో జరిగినట్లు తూరు ఆ దినమున డెబ్బది సంవత్సరములు మరవబడును డెబ్బది సంవత్సరములైన తరువాత వేశ్యల కీర్తనలో ఉన్నట్లు జరుగును, ఏమనగా

15. After that, shall the seventy years of Tyrus (even as long as their kings life was) be forgotten. And after seventy years, it shall happen to Tyrus as with an harlot that playeth upon a lute.

16. మరవబడిన వేశ్యా, సితారాతీసికొని పట్టణములో తిరుగులాడుము నీవు జ్ఞాపకమునకు వచ్చునట్లు ఇంపుగా వాయిం చుము అనేక కీర్తనలు పాడుము.

16. Take thy lute (say men to her) and go about the city, thou art yet an unknown wench, make pastime with divers ballads,(balettes) whereby thou mayest come into acquaintance.

17. డెబ్బది సంవత్సరముల అంతమున యెహోవా తూరును దర్శించును అది వేశ్యజీతమునకు మరల భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త లోక రాజ్యములతో వ్యభిచారము చేయును.

17. Thus shall it happen after seventy years. The LORD shall visit the city of Tyrus, and it shall come again to her merchandise, and shall occupy with all the kingdoms that be in the world.

18. వేశ్యజీతముగా ఉన్నదాని వర్తకలాభము యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమగును అది కూర్చబడదు ధననిధిలో వేయబడదు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నివసించువారికి సంతుష్టి ఇచ్చు భోజనమునకును ప్రశస్త వస్త్రములకును ఆ పట్టణపు లాభము ఆధారముగా నుండును.

18. But all her occupying and wining shall be hallowed unto the LORD. For then shall they lay up nothing behind them nor upon heaps: but the merchandise of Tirus shall belong to the citizens of the LORD, to the feeding and sustaining of the hungry, and to the clothing of the aged.
