1. రాష్ట్రములారా, నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి వినుడి జనములారా, చెవి యొగ్గి ఆలకించుడి భూమియు దాని సంపూర్ణతయు లోకమును దానిలో పుట్టినదంతయు వినును గాక.

1. Come close, you nations, and listen! Pay close attention, you peoples! Let the earth hear, and everything in it; the world, with all it produces.

2. యెహోవా కోపము సమస్త జనములమీదికి వచ్చు చున్నది వారి సర్వ సైన్యములమీద ఆయన క్రోధము వచ్చు చున్నది ఆయన వారిని శపించి వధకు అప్పగించెను.

2. For ADONAI is angry at every nation, furious with all their armies; he has completely destroyed them, handed them over to slaughter.

3. వారిలో చంపబడినవారు బయట వేయబడెదరు వారి శవములు కంపుకొట్టును వారి రక్తమువలన కొండలు కరగిపోవును.

3. Their slain will be thrown out, the stench will rise from their corpses, the mountains will flow with their blood.

4. The whole host of heaven will decompose, the heavens themselves be rolled up like a scroll; all their array will wither away like a withering grape-leaf that falls from a vine or a withered fig from a fig tree.

6. యెహోవా ఖడ్గము రక్తమయమగును అది క్రొవ్వుచేత కప్పబడును గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలయొక్కయు మేకలయొక్కయు రక్తము చేతను పొట్లేళ్ల మూత్రగ్రంథులమీది క్రొవ్వుచేతను కప్ప బడును ఏలయనగా బొస్రాలో యెహోవా బలి జరిగించును ఎదోము దేశములో ఆయన మహా సంహారము చేయును.

6. There is a sword that belongs to ADONAI. It is filled with blood, gorged with fat, filled with the blood of lambs and goats, gorged with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For ADONAI has a sacrifice in Botzrah, a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

7. వాటితోకూడ గురుపోతులును వృషభములును కోడె లును దిగిపోవుచున్నవి ఎదోమీయుల భూమి రక్తముతో నానుచున్నది వారి మన్ను క్రొవ్వుతో బలిసియున్నది.

7. The wild oxen will fall with them, the young bulls with the strong, mature ones. Their land will be drunk with blood and their dust made greasy with fat.

8. అది యెహోవా ప్రతిదండనచేయు దినము సీయోను వ్యాజ్యెమునుగూర్చిన ప్రతికార సంవత్సరము.

8. For ADONAI has a day of vengeance, a year of requital for fighting with Tziyon.

9. ఎదోము కాలువలు కీలగును దాని మన్ను గంధకముగా మార్చబడును దాని భూమి దహించు గంధకముగా ఉండును.

9. Its streams will be changed to tar, its dust to sulfur, its land burning tar

10. that will not be quenched night or day; its smoke will rise forever. In all generations it will lie waste; no one will pass through it ever again.

11. Horned owl and hawk will possess it, screech owl and raven will live there; he will stretch over it the measuring line of confusion and the plumbline of the empty void.

13. ఎదోము నగరులలో ముళ్లచెట్లు పెరుగును దాని దుర్గములలో దురదగొండ్లును గచ్చలును పుట్టును అది అడవికుక్కలకు నివాసస్థలముగాను నిప్పుకోళ్లకు సాలగాను ఉండును

13. Thorns will overgrow its palaces, nettles and thistles its fortresses; it will become a lair for jackals, an enclosure for ostriches.

14. అడవిపిల్లులును నక్కలును అచ్చట కలిసికొనును అచ్చట అడవిమేక తనతోటి జంతువును కనుగొనును అచ్చట చువ్వపిట్ట దిగి విశ్రమస్థలము చూచుకొనును

14. Wildcats and hyenas will meet there; and billy-goats call to each other; Lilit [[the night monster]] will lurk there and find herself a place to rest.

15. చిత్తగూబ గూడు కట్టుకొనును అచ్చట గుడ్లు పెట్టి పొదిగి నీడలో వాటిని కూర్చును అచ్చటనే తెల్లగద్దలు తమ జాతిపక్షులతో కూడు కొనును.

15. There the hoot owl will nest, lay her eggs, hatch and gather her young in its shade. There the vultures will assemble, every one with its mate.

16. యెహోవా గ్రంథమును పరిశీలించి చదువుకొనుడి ఆ జంతువులలో ఏదియు లేక యుండదు దేని జతపక్షి దానియొద్ద ఉండక మానదు నా నోటనుండి వచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞ యిదే ఆయన నోటి ఊపిరి వాటిని పోగుచేయును.

16. Consult the book of ADONAI and read it: not one of these will be missing, none will be lacking a mate. For by his own mouth he gave the order, and by his Spirit he brought them together.

17. అవి రావలెనని ఆయన చీట్లువేసెను ఆయన కొలనూలు చేత పట్టుకొని వాటికి ఆ దేశమును పంచిపెట్టును. అవి నిత్యము దాని ఆక్రమించుకొనును యుగయుగములు దానిలో నివసించును.

17. It is he who cast the lot for them, his hand measured out their shares. They will possess it forever, and live there through all generations.
