1. రక్షింపనేరక యుండునట్లు యెహోవా హస్తము కురుచకాలేదు విననేరక యుండునట్లు ఆయన చెవులు మందము కాలేదు మీ దోషములు మీకును మీ దేవునికిని అడ్డముగా వచ్చెను

1. Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2. మీ పాపములు ఆయన ముఖమును మీకు మరుగు పరచెను గనుక ఆయన ఆలకింపకున్నాడు.

2. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.

3. మీ చేతులు రక్తముచేతను మీ వ్రేళ్లు దోషముచేతను అపవిత్రపరచబడియున్నవి మీ పెదవులు అబద్ధములాడుచున్నవి మీ నాలుక కీడునుబట్టి మాటలాడుచున్నది.

3. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips pronounce lies; your tongue speaks evil.

4. నీతినిబట్టి యెవడును సాక్ష్యము పలుకడు సత్యమునుబట్టి యెవడును వ్యాజ్యెమాడడు అందరు వ్యర్థమైనదాని నమ్ముకొని మోసపుమాటలు పలుకుదురు చెడుగును గర్భము ధరించి పాపమును కందురు.

4. No one calls for righteousness, nor [do any] judge by the truth; they trust in vanity, and speak vanities; they conceive trouble and bring forth iniquity.

5. వారు మిడునాగుల గుడ్లను పొదుగుదురు సాలెపురుగు వల నేయుదురు ఆ గుడ్లు తినువాడు చచ్చును వాటిలో ఒకదానిని ఎవడైన త్రొక్కినయెడల విష సర్పము పుట్టును.

5. They hatch cockatrice' eggs and weave the spider's web; whosoever shall eat of their eggs shall die, and if they should squeeze them, a viper shall come out.

6. వారి పట్టు బట్టనేయుటకు పనికిరాదు వారు నేసినది ధరించుకొనుటకు ఎవనికిని వినియోగింపదు వారి క్రియలు పాపక్రియలే వారు బలాత్కారము చేయువారే.

6. Their cloth is unfit to be a garment, neither shall they cover themselves with their works; their works [are] works of violence, and the work of iniquity is in their hands.

7. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts [are] thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are their paths.

8. The way of peace they did not know; nor is there anything straight about their ways; they have wilfully made themselves crooked paths; whosoever goes therein shall not know peace.

9. కావున న్యాయము మాకు దూరముగా ఉన్నది నీతి మమ్మును కలిసికొనుటలేదు వెలుగుకొరకు మేము కనిపెట్టుకొనుచున్నాము గాని చీకటియే ప్రాప్తించును ప్రకాశముకొరకు ఎదురుచూచుచున్నాము గాని అంధకారములోనే నడచుచున్నాము

9. Therefore judgment has withdrawn from us, and righteousness has never overtaken us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, [but] we walk in darkness.

10. గోడ కొరకు గ్రుడ్డివారివలె తడవులాడుచున్నాము కన్నులు లేనివారివలె తడవులాడుచున్నాము సంధ్యచీకటియందువలెనే మధ్యాహ్నకాలమున కాలు జారి పడుచున్నాము బాగుగ బ్రతుకుచున్నవారిలోనుండియు చచ్చినవారి వలె ఉన్నాము.

10. We grope for the wall like the blind, and as if [we had] no eyes we walk by touch; we stumble at noonday as in the night; [we are] in graves as dead [men].

11. మేమందరము ఎలుగుబంట్లవలె బొబ్బరించుచున్నాము గువ్వలవలె దుఃఖరవము చేయుచున్నాము న్యాయముకొరకు కాచుకొనుచున్నాము గాని అది లభించుటలేదు రక్షణకొరకు కాచుకొనుచున్నాము గాని అది మాకు దూరముగా ఉన్నది

11. We all roar like bears and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but [there is] none; for saving health, [but] it has withdrawn from us.

12. మేము చేసిన తిరుగుబాటుక్రియలు నీ యెదుట విస్తరించియున్నవి మా పాపములు మామీద సాక్ష్యము పలుకుచున్నవి మా తిరుగుబాటుక్రియలు మాకు కనబడుచున్నవి. మా దోషములు మాకు తెలిసేయున్నవి.

12. For our rebellions are multiplied before thee, and our sins have testified against us; for our iniquities [are] with us; and we know our sins:

13. తిరుగుబాటు చేయుటయు యెహోవాను విసర్జించుటయు మా దేవుని వెంబడింపక వెనుకదీయుటయు బాధకరమైన మాటలు విధికి వ్యతిరిక్తమైన మాటలు వచించుటయు హృదయమున యోచించుకొని అసత్యపుమాటలు పలు కుటయు ఇవియే మావలన జరుగుచున్నవి.

13. To rebel and to lie against the LORD, and to depart away from our God; the speaking of libel and rebellion, to conceive, and to speak from the heart words of falsehood,

14. న్యాయమునకు ఆటంకము కలుగుచున్నది నీతి దూరమున నిలుచుచున్నది సత్యము సంతవీధిలో పడియున్నది ధర్మము లోపల ప్రవేశింపనేరదు.

14. and that which is right has departed, and righteousness withdrew afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity could not enter.

15. సత్యము లేకపోయెను చెడుతనము విసర్జించువాడు దోచబడుచున్నాడు న్యాయము జరుగకపోవుట యెహోవా చూచెను అది ఆయన దృష్టికి ప్రతికూలమైయుండెను.

15. And the truth was taken captive; and he [that] departed from evil [was] imprisoned: and the LORD saw [it], and it was displeasing in his eyes because that which is right was lost.

16. సంరక్షకుడు లేకపోవుట ఆయన చూచెను మధ్యవర్తి లేకుండుట చూచి ఆశ్చర్యపడెను. కాబట్టి ఆయన బాహువు ఆయనకు సహాయము చేసెను ఆయన నీతియే ఆయనకు ఆధారమాయెను.

16. And he saw that [there was] no man and wondered that [there was] no intercessor; therefore his arm brought salvation unto him, and his righteousness, it sustained him.

18. so as to give payment, so as to repay the vengeance of his enemies, and repay his adversaries; to the islands he will give recompense.

19. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he shall come like a violent river impelled by the breath of the LORD.
