1. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

2. ఈస్థలమందు నీకు కుమారులైనను కుమార్తెలైనను పుట్టకుండునట్లు నీవు వివాహము చేసికొన కూడదు.

2. Thou shall not take to thee a wife, Neither shalt thou have sons or daughters, in this place.

3. ఈ స్థలమందు పుట్టు కుమారులను గూర్చియు, కుమార్తెలనుగూర్చియు, వారిని కనిన తల్లులనుగూర్చియు, ఈ దేశములో వారిని కనిన తండ్రులను గూర్చియు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు

3. For, Thus, saith Yahweh, Concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are being horn in this place, and concerning their mothers who do bear them, and concerning their fathers who do beget them, in this land,

4. వారు ఘోరమైన మరణము నొందెదరు; వారినిగూర్చి రోదనము చేయబడదు, వారు పాతిపెట్టబడక భూమిమీద పెంట వలె పడియుండెదరు, వారు ఖడ్గముచేతను క్షామముచేతను నశించెదరు; వారి శవములు ఆకాశపక్షులకును భూజంతువులకును ఆహారముగా ఉండును.

4. Of deaths from diseases, shall they die, They shall not be lamented, Neither shall they be buried, As heaps of dung on the face of the ground, shall riley serve, Yea by sword and by famine, shall they be consumed, And, their dead bodies shall become, food To the bird of the heavens, and To the beast of the earth.

5. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడునేను ఈ ప్రజలకు నా సమాధానము కలుగనియ్యకయు వారియెడల నా కృపావాత్సల్యములను చూపకయు ఉన్నాను గనుక రోదనముచేయు ఇంటిలోనికి నీవు పోకుము, వారినిగూర్చి అంగలార్చుటకు పోకుము, ఎవరినిని ఓదార్చుటకు వెళ్లకుము; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు

5. For, Thus, saith Yahweh Do not thou enter into the house of crying, Neither do thou go to lament, nor do thou bemoan for them, For I have withdrawn my blessing from this people, Declareth Yahweh, Both lovingkindness and compassion.

6. ఘనులేమి అల్పులేమి యీ దేశమందున్నవారు చనిపోయి పాతిపెట్టబడరు, వారి నిమిత్తము ఎవరును అంగలార్చకుందురు, ఎవరును తమ్మును తాము కోసికొన కుందురు, వారి నిమిత్తము ఎవరును తమ్మును తాము బోడి చేసికొనకుందురు.

6. So shall great and small die in this land, They shall not be buried, Neither shall men lament for them Nor cut themselves, Nor make themselves bald for them;

7. చచ్చినవారినిగూర్చి జనులను ఓదార్చుటకు అంగలార్పు ఆహారము ఎవరును పంచిపెట్టరు; ఒకని తండ్రి యైనను తల్లియైనను చనిపోయెనని యెవరును వారికి ఓదార్పు పాత్రను త్రాగనియ్యకుందురు.

7. Neither shall they break bread to them in mourning To console one over his dead, Nor cause them to drink the cup of consolation, Over ones father Or over ones mother;

8. వారియొద్ద కూర్చుండి అన్నపానములు పుచ్చుకొనుటకు నీవు విందు శాలలో ప్రవేశింపకూడదు.

8. And the house of banqueting, shall thou not enter To sit with them, To eat and to drink.

9. సైన్యములకధిపతియు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడునైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు మీ కన్నుల ఎదుటనే మీ దినములలోనే సంతోషధ్వనిని ఆనందధ్వనిని పెండ్లికుమారుని స్వరమును పెండ్లికుమార్తె స్వరమును ఈ చోట వినబడకుండ మాన్పించెదను.

9. For, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, Behold me! causing to cease out of this place, Before your eyes, And in your days, The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, The voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride,

10. నీవు ఈ మాటలన్నియు ఈ ప్రజలకు తెలియ జెప్పిన తరువాత వారుదేనిబట్టి యెహోవా మాకు ఈ ఘోరబాధ అంతయు నియమించెను? మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా మా దోషమేమి? మాపాప మేమి? అని నిన్నడుగగా

10. And it shall be when thou shalt declare to this people, all these words, and they shall say unto thee For what reason, hath Yahweh pronounced against us all this great calamity? Or what is our iniquity, or what our sin, which we have sinned against Yahweh our God?

11. నీవు వారితో ఇట్లనుము యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీ పితరులు నన్ను విడిచి అన్య దేవతలను అనుసరించి పూజించి వాటికి నమస్కారము చేయుటను బట్టియే గదా వారు నా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును గైకొనక నన్ను విసర్జించిరి.

11. Then shalt thou say unto them, For that your fathers forsook, me, Declareth Yahweh, And walked after other gods, and served them, and bowed down to them, Whereas me, they forsook And my law, kept they not;

12. ఆలకించుడి; మీరందరు నా మాట వినకుండ కఠినమైన మీ దుష్ట హృదయ కాఠిన్యము చొప్పున నడుచుకొనుచున్నారు; మీరు మీ పితరులకంటె విస్తారముగా చెడుతనము చేసి యున్నారు.

12. And, ye, have done more wickedly than your fathers, for look at you! walking every man after the stubbornness of his wicked heart, so as not to hearken unto me,

13. కాబట్టి నేను మీయందు ఏమాత్రమును దయయుంచక, యీ దేశమునుండి మీరైనను మీ పితరు లైనను ఎరుగని దేశమునకు మిమ్మును వెళ్లగొట్టుచున్నాను; అక్కడ మీరు దివారాత్రము అన్యదేవతలను కొలుచుదురు.

13. Therefore will I hurl you forth, from off this land, unto a land which ye have not known, ye, nor your fathers, and ye can serve there other gods day and night, in that I will grant you no favour.

14. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు మాట ఏదనగా నేను వారి పితరులకిచ్చిన దేశమునకు వారిని మరల రప్పించెదను గనుక రాబోవు దినములలో ఐగుప్తు దేశములో నుండి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను రప్పించిన యెహోవా జీవముతోడని ఇకమీదట

14. Therefore lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, When it shall be said no more By the life of Yahweh, who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt; but

15. అనక ఉత్తరదేశములో నుండియు ఆయన వారిని తరిమిన దేశములన్నిటిలో నుండియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను రప్పించిన యెహోవా జీవముతోడని జనులు ప్రమాణము చేయుదురు.

15. By the life of Yahweh, who hath brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of the North, and out of all the lands whither he had driven them, So will I bring them back upon their own soil, which I gave to their fathers.

16. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు వారిని పట్టుకొనుటకు నేను చాల మంది జాలరులను పిలిపించెదను. తరువాత ప్రతి పర్వతముమీదనుండియు ప్రతి కొండమీద నుండియు మెట్టల సందులలోనుండియు వారిని వేటాడి తోలివేయుటకై అనేకులైన వేటగాండ్రను పిలిపించెదను.

16. Behold me! sending for many fishers Declareth Yahweh, And they shall catch them, and thereafter will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from off every mountain and from off every hill, and out of the clefts of the crags.

17. ఏలయనగా వారు పోయిన త్రోవలన్నిటి మీద దృష్టి యుంచితిని, ఏదియు నా కన్నులకు మరుగు కాలేదు, వారి దోషమును నాకు మరుగైయుండదు.

17. For mine own eyes are upon all their ways, they have not been hid from my face neither hath their iniquity been concealed from being straight before mine eyes.

18. వారు తమ హేయదేవతల కళేబరములచేత నా దేశమును అపవిత్ర పరచియున్నారు, తమ హేయక్రియలతో నా స్వాస్థ్యమును నింపియున్నారు గనుక నేను మొదట వారి దోషమును బట్టియు వారి పాపమును బట్టియు రెండంతలుగా వారికి ప్రతికారము చేసెదను.

18. Thus will I recompense, first, twofold, their iniquity and their sin, because of their profaning my land, with the carcase of their disgusting and detestable things, have they filled mine inheritance.

19. యెహోవా, నా బలమా, నా దుర్గమా, ఆపత్కాలమందు నా ఆశ్రయమా, భూదిగంతములనుండి జనములు నీ యొద్దకు వచ్చిమా పితరులు వ్యర్థమును మాయా రూపమును నిష్‌ప్రయో జనమునగు వాటిని మాత్రము స్వతంత్రించుకొనిరని చెప్పుదురు.

19. O Yahweh, my strength, and my refuge, and my place to fly to, in the day of distress, Unto thee, shall nations come in, out of the ends of the earth, that they may say Surely! Falsehood, did our fathers inherit, Vanity, among whom is none that can profit:

20. నరులు తమకు దేవతలను కల్పించుకొందురా? అయినను అవి దైవములు కావు.

20. Shall a son of earth, make for himself gods, Seeing that, they, are no-gods?

21. కాబట్టి నా నామము యెహోవా అని వారు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నేను ఈ సారి వారికి అనుభవము కలుగజేతును, నా బలమును నా శౌర్యమును ఎంతటివో వారికి తెలియజేతును.

21. Therefore behold me! causing them to know, by this stroke, I will cause them to know my hand and my might, That they may know that my name, is Yahweh!
