1. యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి వచ్చి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన వాక్కు.

1. The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు

2. Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Write all the words which I have spoken to you in a book.

3. రాబోవు దినములలో నేను ఇశ్రాయేలువారును యూదావారునగు నా ప్రజలను చెరలోనుండి విడిపించి, వారి పితరులకు నేనిచ్చిన దేశమును వారు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనునట్లు వారిని తిరిగి రప్పించెదనని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు. కావున నేను నీతో చెప్పిన మాటలన్నిటిని ఒక పుస్తకములో వ్రాసియుంచుకొనుము.

3. For behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will bring back the captivity of My people Israel and Judah; and I will bring them back to the land which I gave to their fathers, and they shall be masters over it, says the Lord.

4. యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని గూర్చియు యూదా వారినిగూర్చియు సెలవిచ్చినమాటలివి.

4. And these are the words which the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah:

5. యెహోవా యిట్లనెను సమాధానములేని కాలమున భీతిచేతను దిగులు చేతను జనులు కేకవేయగా వినుచున్నాము.

5. Thus said the Lord: You shall hear a sound of fear- fear, and not peace.

6. మీరు విచారించి తెలిసికొనుడి; పురుషులు ప్రసూతి వేదనతో పిల్లలను కందురా? ప్రసవవేదనపడు స్త్రీలవలె పురుషులందరును నడుముమీద చేతులుంచుకొనుటయు, వారి ముఖములు తెల్లబారుటయు నాకు కనబడుచున్నదేమి?

6. Ask, and see if a male has ever born a child? And [ask] concerning the fear, why they shall hold their loins, and [look for] safety; for I have seen every man, and his hands are on his loins; [their] faces are turned to paleness.

7. అయ్యో, యెంత భయంకరమైన దినము! అట్టి దినము మరియొకటి రాదు; అది యాకోబు సంతతివారికి ఆపద తెచ్చుదినము; అయినను వారు దానిలో పడకుండ రక్షింపబడుదురు.

7. For that day is great, and there is none like it; and it is a time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.

8. సెన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు నీకున్న కాడి నీ మెడనుండకుండ ఆ దినమున నేను దాని విరిచి నీ కట్లను తెంపెదను; ఇకను అన్యులు యాకోబు సంతతివారిచేత దాస్యము చేయించుకొనరు గాని

8. In that day, said the Lord, I will break the yoke off their neck, and will burst their bonds, and they shall no longer serve strangers.

9. వారు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నగు నేను వారిమీద రాజుగా నియమించు దావీదును సేవించుదురు.

9. But they shall serve the Lord their God; and I will raise up to them David their king.

10. మరియు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబూ, భయపడకుము; ఇశ్రాయేలూ, విస్మయమొందకుము, నేను దూరముననుండు నిన్నును, చెర లోనికి పోయిన దేశముననుండు నీ సంతానపువారిని రక్షించుచున్నాను; బెదరించువాడు లేకుండ యాకోబు సంతతి తిరిగి వచ్చి నిమ్మళించి నెమ్మది పొందును.

11. యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదేనిన్ను రక్షించుటకు నేను నీకు తోడైయున్నాను, నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టిన జనములన్నిటిని నేను సమూలనాశనము చేసెదను గాని నిన్ను సమూల నాశనము చేయను, అయితే ఏమాత్రమును నిర్దోషినిగా ఎంచకుండనే నిన్ను మితముగా శిక్షించుదును.

12. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడునీ వ్యాధి ఘోరమైనది, నీ గాయము బాధకరమైనది;

12. Thus says the Lord: I have brought on [you] destruction. Your stroke is painful.

13. నీ పాపములు విస్తరింపగా శత్రువు కొట్టినట్లు నీ గొప్ప దోషమును బట్టి నేను నీకు కఠినశిక్షచేసి నిన్ను గాయపరచియున్నాను; కాగా నీ పక్షమున వ్యాజ్యెమాడువాడెవడును లేడు, నీ గాయములకు చికిత్స చేయదగిన మందు నీకు లేదు.

13. There is none to judge your cause; you have been painfully treated for healing, there is no help for you.

14. నీ స్నేహితులందరు నిన్ను మరచియున్నారు, వారు నిన్ను గూర్చి విచారింపరు.

14. All your friends have forgotten you; they shall not ask [about you] at all, for I have smitten you with the stroke of the enemy, [even] severe correction. Your sins have abounded above all your iniquity.

15. నీ గాయముచేత నీవు అరచెదవేమి? నీకు కలిగిన నొప్పి నివారణ కాదు; నీ పాపములు విస్తరించినందున నీ దోషములనుబట్టి నేను నిన్ను ఈలాగు చేయుచున్నాను.

15. Your sins have abounded beyond the multitude of your iniquities, [therefore] they have done these things to you.

16. నిన్ను మింగువారందరు మింగి వేయబడుదురు, నిన్ను బాధించువారందరు ఎవడును తప్పకుండ చెరలోనికి పోవుదురు, నిన్ను దోచుకొనువారు దోపుడు సొమ్మగుదురు, నిన్ను అపహరించువారినందరిని దోపుడు సొమ్ముగా అప్పగించెదను.

16. Therefore all that devour you shall be eaten, and all your enemies shall eat all their [own] flesh. And they that spoil you shall become a spoil, and I will give up to be plundered all that have plundered you.

17. వారుఎవరును లక్ష్యపెట్టని సీయోననియు వెలివేయబడినదనియు నీకు పేరుపెట్టుచున్నారు; అయితే నేను నీకు ఆరోగ్యము కలుగజేసెదను నీ గాయములను మాన్పెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

17. For I will bring about your healing, I will heal you of your grievous wound, says the Lord; for you are called Dispersed: she is your prey, for no one seeks after her.

18. యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుయాకోబు నివాసస్థలములను కరుణించి వాని గుడారములను నేను చెరలోనుండి రప్పింతును; అప్పుడు పట్టణము దాని కొండమీద కట్టబడును, నగరియు యథాప్రకారము నివాసులుగలదగును.

18. Thus said the Lord: Behold, I will turn the captivity of Jacob, and will have pity upon his prisoners; and the city shall be built upon her hill, and the people shall settle after their manner.

19. వాటిలో కృతజ్ఞతాస్తోత్రములను సంభ్రమ పడువారి స్వరమును వినబడును, జనులు తక్కువ మంది కాకుండ నేను వారిని విస్తరింపజేసెదను, అల్పులు కాకుండ నేను వారిని ఘనులుగా జేసెదను.

19. And there shall go forth from them singers, [even] the sound of men making merry, and I will multiply them, and they shall by no means be diminished.

20. వారి కుమా రులు మునుపటివలెనుందురు, వారి సమాజము నా యెదుట స్థాపింపబడును, వారిని బాధపరచువారి నందరిని శిక్షించెదను.

20. And their sons shall go in as before, and their testimonies shall be established before Me, and I will visit those that afflict them.

21. వారిలో పుట్టినవాడు వారికి రాజుగా ఉండును, వారి మధ్యను పుట్టినవాడొకడు వారి నేలును, నా సమీపమునకు వచ్చుటకు ధైర్యము తెచ్చుకొనువాడెవడు? నా సన్నిధికి వచ్చునట్లుగా నేను వానిని చేరదీసెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

21. And their mighty ones shall be over them, and their prince shall proceed of themselves; and I will gather them, and they shall return to Me; for who is this that has set his heart to return to Me? Says the Lord.

22. అప్పుడు మీరు నాకు ప్రజలై యుందురు నేను మీకు దేవుడనై యుందును.

23. ఇదిగో యెహోవా మహోగ్రతయను పెనుగాలి బయలుదేరుచున్నది, అది గిరగిర తిరుగు సుడిగాలి, అది దుష్టులమీద పెళ్లున దిగును.

23. For the wrathful anger of the Lord has gone forth, [even] a whirlwind of anger has gone forth: it shall come upon the ungodly.

24. తన కార్యము ముగించు వరకు తన హృదయాలోచనలను నెరవేర్చువరకు యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని చల్లారదు, అంత్యదినములలో మీరీ సంగతిని గ్రహింతురు.

24. The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until He shall execute [it], and until He shall establish the purpose of His heart. In the latter days you shall know these things.
