1. King Nebuchadnezzar had a large army made up of people from every kingdom in his empire. He and his army were attacking Jerusalem and all the nearby towns, when the LORD told me

2. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాడు నీవు వెళ్లి యూదారాజైన సిద్కియాతో ఈలాగు చెప్పుము యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను ఈ పట్టణమును బబులోను రాజుచేతికి అప్పగించు చున్నాను, అతడు మంటపెట్టి దాని కాల్చివేయును.

2. to say to King Zedekiah: I am the LORD, and I am going to let Nebuchadnezzar capture this city and burn it down.

3. నీవు అతని చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనజాలక నిశ్చయ ముగా పట్టబడి అతనిచేతి కప్పగింపబడెదవు. బబులోను రాజును నీవు కన్నులార చూచెదవు, అతడు నీతో ముఖా ముఖిగా మాటలాడును, నీవు బబులోనునకు పోవుదువు.

3. You will be taken prisoner and brought to Nebuchadnezzar, and he will speak with you face to face. Then you will be led away to Babylonia.

4. Zedekiah, I promise that you won't die in battle.

5. నీకంటె ముందుగానుండిన పూర్వరాజులైన నీ పితరులకొరకు ధూపద్రవ్యములు కాల్చినట్లు అయ్యో నా యేలినవాడా, అని నిన్ను గూర్చి అంగలార్చుచు జనులు నీకొరకును ధూపద్రవ్యము కాల్చుదురు; ఆలాగు కావలెనని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చినవాడను నేనే అని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

5. You will die a peaceful death. People will mourn when you die, and they will light bonfires in your honor, just as they did for your ancestors, the kings who ruled before you.

6. యూదా పట్టణములలో లాకీషును అజేకాయును ప్రాకారములుగల పట్టణములుగా మిగిలి యున్నవి,

6. I went to Zedekiah and told him what the LORD had said.

7. బబులోనురాజు దండు యెరూషలేముమీదను మిగిలిన యూదా పట్టణములన్నిటిమీదను యుద్ధము చేయుచుండగా ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా యెరూషలేములో యూదా రాజైన సిద్కియాకు ఈ మాటలన్నిటిని ప్రకటించుచు వచ్చెను.

7. Meanwhile, the king of Babylonia was trying to break through the walls of Lachish, Azekah, and Jerusalem, the only three towns of Judah that had not been captured.

8. యూదులచేత యూదులు కొలువు చేయించుకొనక తమ దాస్యములోనున్న హెబ్రీయులనుగాని హెబ్రీయు రాండ్రనుగాని అందరిని విడిపించునట్లు విడుదలచాటింప

8. King Zedekiah, his officials, and everyone else in Jerusalem made an agreement to free all Hebrew men and women who were slaves. No Jew would keep another as a slave. And so, all the Jewish slaves were given their freedom.

9. వలెనని రాజైన సిద్కియా యెరూషలేములోనున్న సమస్త ప్రజలతో నిబంధన చేసిన తరువాత యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన వాక్కు

11. అయితే పిమ్మట వారు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని, తాము స్వతంత్రులుగా పోనిచ్చిన దాస దాసీజనులను మరల దాసులుగాను దాసీలుగాను లోపరచు కొనిరి.

11. But those slave owners changed their minds and forced their former slaves back into slavery.

12. కావున యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి వాక్కు యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

12. That's when the LORD told me to say to the people:

13. ఇశ్రా యేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చునదేమనగా దాసుల గృహమైన ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి నేను మీ పితరులను రప్పించిన దినమున వారితో ఈ నిబంధన చేసితిని.

13. I am the LORD God of Israel, and I made an agreement with your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt, where they had been slaves.

14. నీకు అమ్మబడి ఆరు సంవత్సరములు కొలువుచేసిన హెబ్రీయులగు మీ సహోదరులను ఏడు సంవత్సరములు తీరిన తరువాత మీరు విడిపింపవలెను; అయితే మీ పితరులు తమ చెవియొగ్గక నా మాట అంగీకరింపక పోయిరి.

14. As part of this agreement, you must let a Hebrew slave go free after six years of service. Your ancestors did not obey me,

15. మీరైతే ఇప్పుడు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని యొక్కొక్కడు తన పొరుగు వానికి విడుదల చాటింతమని చెప్పి, నా పేరు పెట్టబడిన యీ మందిరమందు నా సన్నిధిని నిబంధన చేసితిరి, నా దృష్టికి యుక్తమైనది చేసితిరి.

15. but you decided to obey me and do the right thing by setting your Hebrew slaves completely free. You even went to my temple, and in my name you made an agreement to set them free. But you have abused my name, because you broke your agreement and forced your former slaves back into slavery.

16. పిమ్మట మీరు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని నా నామమును అపవిత్రపరచితిరి వారి ఇచ్ఛానుసారముగా తిరుగునట్లు వారిని స్వతంత్రు లుగా పోనిచ్చిన తరువాత, అందరును తమ దాసదాసీలను మరల పట్టుకొని తమకు దాసులుగాను దాసీలుగాను ఉండుటకై వారిని లోపరచుకొంటిరి

17. కాబట్టి యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఒక్కొక్కడు తన సహోదరులకును తన పొరుగువారికిని విడుదల ప్రకటింపవలెనని నేను చెప్పిన మాట మీరు వినకపోతిరే; ఆలోచించుడి, విడుదల కావలెనని నేనే చాటించుచున్నాను, అది ఖడ్గ క్షామసంకటముల పాలగుటకైన విడుదలయే; భూరాజ్యము లన్నిటిలోను ఇటు అటు చెదరగొట్టుటకు మిమ్ము నప్పగించుచున్నాను.

17. You have disobeyed me by not giving your slaves their freedom. So I will give you freedom--the freedom to die in battle or from disease or hunger. I will make you disgusting to all other nations on earth.

18. మరియు నా సన్నిధిని తాము చేసిన నిబంధన మాటలు నెరవేర్చక దాని నతిక్రమించువారిని, తాము రెండు భాగములుగా కోసి వాటిమధ్య నడిచిన దూడతో సమానులుగా చేయుచున్నాను;

18. You asked me to be a witness when you made the agreement to set your slaves free. And as part of the ceremony you cut a calf into two parts, then walked between the parts. But you people of Jerusalem have broken that agreement as well as my agreement with Israel. So I will do to you what you did to that calf.

19. అనగా యూదా అధిపతులను యెరూషలేము అధిపతులను రాజ పరివారములోని వారిని యాజకులను దేశజనులనందరిని ఆ దూడయొక్క రెండు భాగముల మధ్య నడచినవారినందరిని ఆ దూడతో సమానులుగా చేయుచున్నాను.

19. I will let your enemies take all of you prisoner, including the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the royal officials, the priests, and everyone else who walked between the two parts of the calf. These enemies will kill you and leave your bodies lying on the ground as food for birds and wild animals.

20. వారి శత్రువుల చేతికిని వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచువారి చేతికిని వారి నప్పగించుచున్నాను, వారి కళేబరములు ఆకాశ పక్షులకును భూమృగములకును ఆహారముగా నుండును.

21. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియాను అతని అధిపతులను వారి శత్రువులచేతికిని వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచువారిచేతికిని మీయొద్దనుండి వెళ్ళిపోయిన బబులోనురాజు దండు చేతికిని అప్పగించుచున్నాను.

21. These enemies are King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia and his army. They have stopped attacking Jerusalem, but they want to kill King Zedekiah and his high officials. So I will command them to return and attack again. This time they will conquer the city and burn it down, and they will capture Zedekiah and his officials. I will also let them destroy the towns of Judah, so that no one can live there any longer.

22. యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదేనేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి యీ పట్టణమునకు వారిని మరల రప్పించు చున్నాను, వారు దానిమీద యుద్ధముచేసి దాని పట్టుకొని మంటపెట్టి దాని కాల్చివేసెదరు; మరియు యూదా పట్టణములను పాడుగాను నిర్జనముగాను చేయుదును.
