1. బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరును అతని సమస్త సేనయు అతని అధికారము క్రిందనున్న భూరాజ్యములన్నియు జనములన్నియు కూడి యెరూషలేముమీదను దాని పురము లన్నిటిమీదను యుద్ధము చేయుచుండగా యెహోవా యొద్దనుండి యిర్మీయాకు దర్శనమైన వాక్కు.

1. This word came to Yirmeyahu from ADONAI when N'vukhadretzar king of Bavel, his whole army, all his vassal kingdoms and all the peoples fought against Yerushalayim and all its cities:

2. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాడు నీవు వెళ్లి యూదారాజైన సిద్కియాతో ఈలాగు చెప్పుము యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను ఈ పట్టణమును బబులోను రాజుచేతికి అప్పగించు చున్నాను, అతడు మంటపెట్టి దాని కాల్చివేయును.

2. 'ADONAI the God of Isra'el says to go and speak to Tzidkiyahu king of Y'hudah. Tell him that ADONAI says: 'I am going to hand this city over to the king of Bavel, and he will burn it to the ground.

3. నీవు అతని చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనజాలక నిశ్చయ ముగా పట్టబడి అతనిచేతి కప్పగింపబడెదవు. బబులోను రాజును నీవు కన్నులార చూచెదవు, అతడు నీతో ముఖా ముఖిగా మాటలాడును, నీవు బబులోనునకు పోవుదువు.

3. You will not escape but will surely be captured and handed over to him; your eyes will see the eyes of the king of Bavel, he will speak with you face to face, and you will go to Bavel.'

4. యూదా రాజవైన సిద్కియా, యెహోవా మాట వినుము నిన్నుగూర్చి యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నీవు ఖడ్గమువలన మృతిబొందక నెమ్మదిగానే మృతి బొందెదవు.

4. Nevertheless, Tzidkiyahu king of Y'hudah, hear the word of ADONAI. ADONAI says this about you: 'You will not be put to the sword

5. నీకంటె ముందుగానుండిన పూర్వరాజులైన నీ పితరులకొరకు ధూపద్రవ్యములు కాల్చినట్లు అయ్యో నా యేలినవాడా, అని నిన్ను గూర్చి అంగలార్చుచు జనులు నీకొరకును ధూపద్రవ్యము కాల్చుదురు; ఆలాగు కావలెనని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చినవాడను నేనే అని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

5. but will die peacefully; and just as they burned spices for your ancestors, the earlier kings who preceded you, so they will burn spices for you and mourn you, 'Oh! Master!' For I have spoken the word,' says ADONAI.'

6. యూదా పట్టణములలో లాకీషును అజేకాయును ప్రాకారములుగల పట్టణములుగా మిగిలి యున్నవి,

6. Yirmeyahu the prophet said all these words to Tzidkiyahu king of Y'hudah in Yerushalayim

7. బబులోనురాజు దండు యెరూషలేముమీదను మిగిలిన యూదా పట్టణములన్నిటిమీదను యుద్ధము చేయుచుండగా ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా యెరూషలేములో యూదా రాజైన సిద్కియాకు ఈ మాటలన్నిటిని ప్రకటించుచు వచ్చెను.

7. at the time when the king of Bavel's army was fighting against Yerushalayim and against all the cities of Y'hudah that were left- that is, against Lakhish and 'Azekah, since only these remained of the fortified cities of Y'hudah.

8. యూదులచేత యూదులు కొలువు చేయించుకొనక తమ దాస్యములోనున్న హెబ్రీయులనుగాని హెబ్రీయు రాండ్రనుగాని అందరిని విడిపించునట్లు విడుదలచాటింప

8. This word came to Yirmeyahu from ADONAI after King Tzidkiyahu had made a covenant with all the people in Yerushalayim to emancipate them.

9. వలెనని రాజైన సిద్కియా యెరూషలేములోనున్న సమస్త ప్రజలతో నిబంధన చేసిన తరువాత యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన వాక్కు

9. Everyone who had a male or female slave who was Hebrew was to let him go free; none was to keep as his slave a fellow Jew.

10. ఆ నిబంధననుబట్టి అందరును తమకు దాస దాసీజనముగా నున్న వారిని విడిపించుదుమనియు, ఇకమీదట ఎవరును వారిచేత కొలువు చేయించుకొనమనియు, ఒప్పుకొని, ఆ నిబంధనలో చేరిన ప్రధానులందరును ప్రజలందరును విధేయులై వారిని విడిపించిరి.

10. All the leaders and all the people listened who had entered into the covenant, wherein everyone was to free his male and female slaves and not keep them in bondage any longer. They listened, and they let them go.

11. అయితే పిమ్మట వారు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని, తాము స్వతంత్రులుగా పోనిచ్చిన దాస దాసీజనులను మరల దాసులుగాను దాసీలుగాను లోపరచు కొనిరి.

11. But afterwards, they changed their minds; they made the male and female slaves, whom they had freed, return; and they brought them back into subjection as slaves.

12. కావున యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి వాక్కు యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

12. Therefore this word of ADONAI came to Yirmeyahu from ADONAI:

13. ఇశ్రా యేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చునదేమనగా దాసుల గృహమైన ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి నేను మీ పితరులను రప్పించిన దినమున వారితో ఈ నిబంధన చేసితిని.

13. 'Here is what ADONAI the God of Isra'el says: 'When I brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt, where they lived as slaves, I made this covenant with them:

14. నీకు అమ్మబడి ఆరు సంవత్సరములు కొలువుచేసిన హెబ్రీయులగు మీ సహోదరులను ఏడు సంవత్సరములు తీరిన తరువాత మీరు విడిపింపవలెను; అయితే మీ పితరులు తమ చెవియొగ్గక నా మాట అంగీకరింపక పోయిరి.

14. 'At the end of seven years every one of you is to set free his brother Hebrew who has been sold to you and has served you six years. You are to let him go free from you.' But your ancestors did not listen to me or pay any attention.

15. మీరైతే ఇప్పుడు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని యొక్కొక్కడు తన పొరుగు వానికి విడుదల చాటింతమని చెప్పి, నా పేరు పెట్టబడిన యీ మందిరమందు నా సన్నిధిని నిబంధన చేసితిరి, నా దృష్టికి యుక్తమైనది చేసితిరి.

15. Now you repented, you did what is right from my viewpoint when each of you proclaimed freedom to his fellow; and you made a covenant before me in the house bearing my name.

16. పిమ్మట మీరు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని నా నామమును అపవిత్రపరచితిరి వారి ఇచ్ఛానుసారముగా తిరుగునట్లు వారిని స్వతంత్రు లుగా పోనిచ్చిన తరువాత, అందరును తమ దాసదాసీలను మరల పట్టుకొని తమకు దాసులుగాను దాసీలుగాను ఉండుటకై వారిని లోపరచుకొంటిరి

16. But then you changed your minds. You profaned my name when each of you took back his male and female slaves, whom you had set free to live as they wished, and brought them back into subjection as your slaves.'

17. కాబట్టి యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఒక్కొక్కడు తన సహోదరులకును తన పొరుగువారికిని విడుదల ప్రకటింపవలెనని నేను చెప్పిన మాట మీరు వినకపోతిరే; ఆలోచించుడి, విడుదల కావలెనని నేనే చాటించుచున్నాను, అది ఖడ్గ క్షామసంకటముల పాలగుటకైన విడుదలయే; భూరాజ్యము లన్నిటిలోను ఇటు అటు చెదరగొట్టుటకు మిమ్ము నప్పగించుచున్నాను.

17. Therefore here is what ADONAI says: 'You did not heed me and proclaim freedom, each to his brother and each to his neighbor; so now I proclaim for you a freedom,' says ADONAI, 'for sword, plague and famine. I will make you an object of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.

18. మరియు నా సన్నిధిని తాము చేసిన నిబంధన మాటలు నెరవేర్చక దాని నతిక్రమించువారిని, తాము రెండు భాగములుగా కోసి వాటిమధ్య నడిచిన దూడతో సమానులుగా చేయుచున్నాను;

18. As for the men who violated my covenant by not living up to the conditions of the covenant which they made in my presence when they cut the calf in two and passed between its parts-

19. అనగా యూదా అధిపతులను యెరూషలేము అధిపతులను రాజ పరివారములోని వారిని యాజకులను దేశజనులనందరిని ఆ దూడయొక్క రెండు భాగముల మధ్య నడచినవారినందరిని ఆ దూడతో సమానులుగా చేయుచున్నాను.

19. the leaders of Y'hudah, the leaders of Yerushalayim, the officials, the [cohanim] and all the people of the land who passed between the parts of the calf;

20. వారి శత్రువుల చేతికిని వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచువారి చేతికిని వారి నప్పగించుచున్నాను, వారి కళేబరములు ఆకాశ పక్షులకును భూమృగములకును ఆహారముగా నుండును.

20. I will hand them over to their enemies, hand them over to those who seek their lives; and their corpses will become food for birds in the air and wild animals.

21. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియాను అతని అధిపతులను వారి శత్రువులచేతికిని వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచువారిచేతికిని మీయొద్దనుండి వెళ్ళిపోయిన బబులోనురాజు దండు చేతికిని అప్పగించుచున్నాను.

21. Tzidkiyahu king of Y'hudah and his officials I will hand over to their enemies, to those who seek their lives and to the army of the king of Bavel, which has withdrawn.

22. యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదేనేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి యీ పట్టణమునకు వారిని మరల రప్పించు చున్నాను, వారు దానిమీద యుద్ధముచేసి దాని పట్టుకొని మంటపెట్టి దాని కాల్చివేసెదరు; మరియు యూదా పట్టణములను పాడుగాను నిర్జనముగాను చేయుదును.

22. I will give the order,' says ADONAI, 'and cause them to return to this city. They will attack it, capture it and burn it to the ground; and I will make the cities of Y'hudah desolate and uninhabited.''
