1. బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరును అతని సమస్త సేనయు అతని అధికారము క్రిందనున్న భూరాజ్యములన్నియు జనములన్నియు కూడి యెరూషలేముమీదను దాని పురము లన్నిటిమీదను యుద్ధము చేయుచుండగా యెహోవా యొద్దనుండి యిర్మీయాకు దర్శనమైన వాక్కు.

1. The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord (now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the country of his dominion, were fighting against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah), saying,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాడు నీవు వెళ్లి యూదారాజైన సిద్కియాతో ఈలాగు చెప్పుము యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను ఈ పట్టణమును బబులోను రాజుచేతికి అప్పగించు చున్నాను, అతడు మంటపెట్టి దాని కాల్చివేయును.

2. Thus says the Lord: Go to Zedekiah king of Judah, and you shall say to him, Thus says the Lord: This city shall certainly be delivered into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it, and shall burn it with fire.

3. నీవు అతని చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనజాలక నిశ్చయ ముగా పట్టబడి అతనిచేతి కప్పగింపబడెదవు. బబులోను రాజును నీవు కన్నులార చూచెదవు, అతడు నీతో ముఖా ముఖిగా మాటలాడును, నీవు బబులోనునకు పోవుదువు.

3. And you shall not escape out of his hand, but shall certainly be taken, and shall be given into his hands; and your eyes shall see his eyes, and you shall enter into Babylon.

4. యూదా రాజవైన సిద్కియా, యెహోవా మాట వినుము నిన్నుగూర్చి యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నీవు ఖడ్గమువలన మృతిబొందక నెమ్మదిగానే మృతి బొందెదవు.

4. But hear the word of the Lord, O Zedekiah king of Judah: Thus says the Lord:

5. నీకంటె ముందుగానుండిన పూర్వరాజులైన నీ పితరులకొరకు ధూపద్రవ్యములు కాల్చినట్లు అయ్యో నా యేలినవాడా, అని నిన్ను గూర్చి అంగలార్చుచు జనులు నీకొరకును ధూపద్రవ్యము కాల్చుదురు; ఆలాగు కావలెనని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చినవాడను నేనే అని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

5. You shall die in peace; and as they wept for your fathers that reigned before you, so shall they weep for you, [saying], Alas, lord! And they shall lament for you down to the grave; for I have spoken the word, says the Lord.

6. యూదా పట్టణములలో లాకీషును అజేకాయును ప్రాకారములుగల పట్టణములుగా మిగిలి యున్నవి,

6. And Jeremiah spoke to King Zedekiah all these words in Jerusalem.

7. బబులోనురాజు దండు యెరూషలేముమీదను మిగిలిన యూదా పట్టణములన్నిటిమీదను యుద్ధము చేయుచుండగా ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా యెరూషలేములో యూదా రాజైన సిద్కియాకు ఈ మాటలన్నిటిని ప్రకటించుచు వచ్చెను.

7. And the army of the king of Babylon fought against Jerusalem, and against the cities of Judah, and against Lachish, and against Azekah; for these fortified cities were left among the cities of Judah.

8. యూదులచేత యూదులు కొలువు చేయించుకొనక తమ దాస్యములోనున్న హెబ్రీయులనుగాని హెబ్రీయు రాండ్రనుగాని అందరిని విడిపించునట్లు విడుదలచాటింప

8. [This is] the word that came from the Lord to Jeremiah, after King Zedekiah had made a covenant with the people, to proclaim a release:

9. వలెనని రాజైన సిద్కియా యెరూషలేములోనున్న సమస్త ప్రజలతో నిబంధన చేసిన తరువాత యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన వాక్కు

9. That every man should set his servant free, and every man his maidservant, the Hebrew man and Hebrew woman, that no one from Judah should be in bondage.

10. ఆ నిబంధననుబట్టి అందరును తమకు దాస దాసీజనముగా నున్న వారిని విడిపించుదుమనియు, ఇకమీదట ఎవరును వారిచేత కొలువు చేయించుకొనమనియు, ఒప్పుకొని, ఆ నిబంధనలో చేరిన ప్రధానులందరును ప్రజలందరును విధేయులై వారిని విడిపించిరి.

10. Then all the nobles, and all the people who had entered into the covenant, [engaging] to set free everyone of his male and female slaves, [changed their minds],

11. అయితే పిమ్మట వారు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని, తాము స్వతంత్రులుగా పోనిచ్చిన దాస దాసీజనులను మరల దాసులుగాను దాసీలుగాను లోపరచు కొనిరి.

11. and gave them over to be male and female slaves.

12. కావున యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి వాక్కు యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

12. And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

13. ఇశ్రా యేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చునదేమనగా దాసుల గృహమైన ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి నేను మీ పితరులను రప్పించిన దినమున వారితో ఈ నిబంధన చేసితిని.

13. Thus says the Lord: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,

14. నీకు అమ్మబడి ఆరు సంవత్సరములు కొలువుచేసిన హెబ్రీయులగు మీ సహోదరులను ఏడు సంవత్సరములు తీరిన తరువాత మీరు విడిపింపవలెను; అయితే మీ పితరులు తమ చెవియొగ్గక నా మాట అంగీకరింపక పోయిరి.

14. When six years are accomplished, you shall set free your brother the Hebrew, who shall be sold to you; for he shall serve you six years, and [then] you shall let him go free. But they hearkened not to Me, and inclined not their ear.

15. మీరైతే ఇప్పుడు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని యొక్కొక్కడు తన పొరుగు వానికి విడుదల చాటింతమని చెప్పి, నా పేరు పెట్టబడిన యీ మందిరమందు నా సన్నిధిని నిబంధన చేసితిరి, నా దృష్టికి యుక్తమైనది చేసితిరి.

15. And this day they turned to do that which was right in My sight, to proclaim everyone the release of his neighbor; and they had made a covenant before Me, in the house which is called by My name.

16. పిమ్మట మీరు మనస్సు మార్చుకొని నా నామమును అపవిత్రపరచితిరి వారి ఇచ్ఛానుసారముగా తిరుగునట్లు వారిని స్వతంత్రు లుగా పోనిచ్చిన తరువాత, అందరును తమ దాసదాసీలను మరల పట్టుకొని తమకు దాసులుగాను దాసీలుగాను ఉండుటకై వారిని లోపరచుకొంటిరి

16. But you turned and profaned My name, to bring back everyone his servant, and everyone his handmaid, whom you had set free [and] at their own disposal, to be to you male and female slaves.

17. కాబట్టి యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఒక్కొక్కడు తన సహోదరులకును తన పొరుగువారికిని విడుదల ప్రకటింపవలెనని నేను చెప్పిన మాట మీరు వినకపోతిరే; ఆలోచించుడి, విడుదల కావలెనని నేనే చాటించుచున్నాను, అది ఖడ్గ క్షామసంకటముల పాలగుటకైన విడుదలయే; భూరాజ్యము లన్నిటిలోను ఇటు అటు చెదరగొట్టుటకు మిమ్ము నప్పగించుచున్నాను.

17. Therefore thus said the Lord: You have not hearkened to Me, to proclaim a release everyone to his neighbor. Behold, I proclaim a release to you, to the sword, and to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will give you up to dispersion [among] all the kingdoms of the earth.

18. మరియు నా సన్నిధిని తాము చేసిన నిబంధన మాటలు నెరవేర్చక దాని నతిక్రమించువారిని, తాము రెండు భాగములుగా కోసి వాటిమధ్య నడిచిన దూడతో సమానులుగా చేయుచున్నాను;

18. And I will give the men that have transgressed My covenant, who have not kept My covenant, which they made before Me, the calf which they prepared to sacrifice with it,

19. అనగా యూదా అధిపతులను యెరూషలేము అధిపతులను రాజ పరివారములోని వారిని యాజకులను దేశజనులనందరిని ఆ దూడయొక్క రెండు భాగముల మధ్య నడచినవారినందరిని ఆ దూడతో సమానులుగా చేయుచున్నాను.

19. the princes of Judah, and the men in power, and the priests, and the people.

20. వారి శత్రువుల చేతికిని వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచువారి చేతికిని వారి నప్పగించుచున్నాను, వారి కళేబరములు ఆకాశ పక్షులకును భూమృగములకును ఆహారముగా నుండును.

20. I will even give them to their enemies, and their carcasses shall be food for the birds of the sky and for the wild beasts of the earth.

21. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియాను అతని అధిపతులను వారి శత్రువులచేతికిని వారి ప్రాణము తీయజూచువారిచేతికిని మీయొద్దనుండి వెళ్ళిపోయిన బబులోనురాజు దండు చేతికిని అప్పగించుచున్నాను.

21. And I will give Zedekiah king of Judah, and their princes, into the hands of their enemies, and the host of the king of Babylon [shall come upon] them that run away from them.

22. యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదేనేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి యీ పట్టణమునకు వారిని మరల రప్పించు చున్నాను, వారు దానిమీద యుద్ధముచేసి దాని పట్టుకొని మంటపెట్టి దాని కాల్చివేసెదరు; మరియు యూదా పట్టణములను పాడుగాను నిర్జనముగాను చేయుదును.

22. Behold, I [will] give command, says the Lord, and will bring them back to this land; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire, and the cities of Judah; and I will make them desolate without inhabitants.
