1. అతడు ప్రజలకందరికి ప్రకటింపవలెనని దేవుడైన యెహోవా పంపిన ప్రకారము యిర్మీయా వారి దేవుడగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాటలన్నిటిని వారికి ప్రకటించి చాలింపగా

1. And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of Yahweh their God, with which Yahweh their God had sent him unto them, even all these words,

2. హోషేయా కుమారుడైన అజర్యాయును కారేహ కుమారుడైన యోహానానును గర్విష్ఠులందరును యిర్మీయాతో ఇట్లనిరి నీవు అబద్ధము పలుకుచున్నావు ఐగుప్తులో కాపురముండుటకు మీరు అక్కడికి వెళ్లకూడదని ప్రకటించుటకై మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను పంపలేదు.

2. then spake Azariah son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah Falsely, art thou speaking, Yahweh our God hath not sent thee to say, Ye shall not enter Egypt to sojourn there;

3. మమ్మును చంపుటకును, బబులోనునకు చెర పట్టుకొని పోవుటకును, కల్దీయులచేతికి మమ్మును అప్పగింప వలెనని నేరీయా కుమారుడైన బారూకు మాకు విరోధముగా రేపుచున్నాడు. (అని చెప్పిరి)

3. but Baruch son of Neriah, is goading thee on against us, that he may deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, to put us to death, or take us away captive to Babylon.

4. కాగా కారేహ కుమారుడైన యోహానానును సేనలయధిపతులందరును ప్రజలందురును యూదాదేశములో కాపురముండవలెనన్న యెహోవా మాట వినకపోయిరి.

4. So Johanan son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces and all the people, hearkened not, unto the voice of Yahweh, by remaining in the land of Judah;

5. మరియు కారేహ కుమారుడైన యోహానానును సేనల యధిపతులందరును యెహోవా మాట విననివారై, యూదాదేశములో నివసించుటకు తాము తరిమి వేయబడిన ఆయా ప్రదేశములనుండి తిరిగి వచ్చిన యూదుల శేషమును,

5. but Johanan son of Kareah and all the captains of the forces took all the remnant of Judah, who had returned, out of all the nations whither they had been driven to sojourn in the land of Judah:

6. అనగా రాజ దేహసంరక్షకులకధిపతియగు నెబూజరదాను షాఫాను కుమారుడైన అహీకాము కుమారుడగు గెదల్యాకు అప్పగించిన పురుషులను స్త్రీలను పిల్లలను రాజకుమార్తెలను ప్రవక్తయగు యిర్మీయాను నేరీయా కుమారుడగు బారూకును తోడుకొనిపోయి

6. both the men and the women and the children, and the daughters of the king, and every soul that Nebuzaradan chief of the royal executioners had left, with Gedaliah son of Ahikam son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch son of Neriah;

7. ఐగుప్తుదేశములో ప్రవేశించిరి. వారు తహపనేసుకు రాగా

7. and entered the land of Egypt, for they hearkened not unto the voice of Yahweh, yea entered as far as Tahpanhes.

8. యెహోవా వాక్కు తహపనేసులో యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యిలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

8. Then came the word of Yahweh unto Jeremiah, in Tahpanhes, saying:

9. నీవు పెద్ద రాళ్లను చేత పట్టుకొని, యూదా మనుష్యులు చూచుచుండగా తహపనేసులో నున్న ఫరో నగరు ద్వారముననున్న శిలావరణములోని సున్నములో వాటిని పాతిపెట్టి జనులకీమాట ప్రకటింపుము

9. Take in thy hand great stones and hide them in the mortar that is in the brickyard which is at the entrance of the house of Pharaoh in Tahpanhes, before the eyes of the men of Judah.

10. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ఇదిగో నా దాసుడగు బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరును నేను పిలువనంపించి తీసికొనివచ్చి, నేను పాతిపెట్టిన యీ రాళ్లమీద అతని సింహాసనము ఉంచెదను, అతడు రత్నకంబళిని వాటిమీదనే వేయించును.

10. Then shalt thou say unto them Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel Behold me! sending and fetching Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, my servant, and I will set his throne over these stones which I have hid, and he shall spread his canopy over them.

11. అతడువచ్చి తెగులునకు నిర్ణయమైన వారిని తెగులునకును, చెరకు నిర్ణయమైనవారిని చెరకును, ఖడ్గమునకు నిర్ణయమైనవారిని ఖడ్గమునకును అప్పగించుచు ఐగుప్తీయులను హతముచేయును.

11. And when he entereth, then will he smite the land of Egypt and deliver Him who is for death to death and Him who is for captivity to captivity, and Him who is for the sword to the sword.

12. ఐగుప్తు దేవతల గుళ్లలో నేను అగ్ని రాజ బెట్టుచున్నాను, వాటిని నెబుకద్రెజరు కాల్చి వేయును, ఆ దేవతలను చెరగొనిపోవును, గొఱ్ఱెలకాపరి తన వస్త్రమును చుట్టుకొనునట్లు అతడు ఐగుప్తుదేశమును తనకు చుట్టుకొని నిరాటంకముగా అక్కడనుండి సాగి పోవును.

12. So will I kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn them and carry them away Captive, and shall wrap the land of Egypt about him, just as a shepherd, wrappeth about, him his garment, and shall go forth from thence in peace;

13. అతడు ఐగుప్తులోనున్న సూర్యదేవతాపట్టణము లోని సూర్యప్రతిమలను విరుగగొట్టి ఐగుప్తు దేవతల గుళ్లను అగ్నిచేత కాల్చివేయును.

13. And he shall break in pieces the pillars of Beth-shemesh, which is in the land of Egypt, And the houses of the gods of Egypt, shall he burn with fire.
