2. ఐగుప్తునుగూర్చిన మాట, అనగా యోషీయా కుమారుడును యూదారాజునైన యెహోయాకీము ఏలుబడియందు నాలుగవ సంవత్సరమున నెబుకద్రెజరు కర్కెమీషులో యూఫ్రటీసునదిదగ్గర ఓడించిన ఫరోనెకో దండును గూర్చిన మాట.

4. Harness the horses! Up in the saddles! Battle formation! Helmets on, spears sharpened, armor in place!'

13. The Message that GOD gave to the prophet Jeremiah when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon was on his way to attack Egypt:

14. ఐగుప్తులో తెలియజేయుడి మిగ్దోలులో ప్రకటింపుడి నొపులోను తహపనేసులోను ప్రకటనచేయుడి ఏమనగాఖడ్గము నీ చుట్టునున్న ప్రదేశములను మింగివేయుచున్నది మీరు లేచి ధైర్యము తెచ్చుకొనుడి.

14. 'Tell Egypt, alert Migdol, post warnings in Noph and Tahpanhes: 'Wake up! Be prepared! War's coming!'

19. So pack your bags for exile, you coddled daughters of Egypt, For Memphis will soon be nothing, a vacant lot grown over with weeds.

20. ఐగుప్తు అందమైన పెయ్య ఉత్తరదిక్కుననుండి జోరీగ వచ్చుచున్నది వచ్చే యున్నది.

22. 'Egypt will slither and hiss like a snake as the enemy army comes in force. They will rush in, swinging axes like lumberjacks cutting down trees.

23. లెక్కలేనివారై మిడతలకన్న విస్తరింతురు చొర శక్యముకాని ఆమె అరణ్యమును నరికివేయు దురు.

23. They'll level the country'--GOD's Decree--'nothing and no one standing for as far as you can see. The invaders will be a swarm of locusts, innumerable, past counting.

27. నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబూ, భయపడకుము ఇశ్రాయేలూ, జడియకుము దూరములోనుండి నిన్ను రక్షించుచున్నాను వారున్న చెరలోనుండి నీ సంతతివారిని రక్షించుచున్నాను ఎవరి భయమును లేకుండ యాకోబు తిరిగివచ్చును అతడు నిమ్మళించి నెమ్మదినొందును.

27. 'But you, dear Jacob my servant, you have nothing to fear. Israel, there's no need to worry. Look up! I'll save you from that far country, I'll get your children out of the land of exile. Things are going to be normal again for Jacob, safe and secure, smooth sailing.

28. నా సేవకుడవైన యాకోబు, నేను నీకు తోడై యున్నాను భయపడకుము నేనెక్కడికి నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టితినో ఆ సమస్త దేశప్రజలను సమూల నాశనము చేసెదను అయితే నిన్ను సమూల నాశనము చేయను నిన్ను శిక్షింపక విడువను గాని న్యాయమునుబట్టి నిన్ను శిక్షించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

28. Yes, dear Jacob my servant, you have nothing to fear. Depend on it, I'm on your side. I'll finish off all the godless nations among which I've scattered you, But I won't finish you off. I have more work left to do on you. I'll punish you, but fairly. No, I'm not finished with you yet.'
