1. మోయాబును గూర్చినది. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు. నెబోకు శ్రమ, అది పాడైపోవుచున్నది. కిర్యతాయిము పట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఎత్తయిన కోట పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఇకను మోయాబునకు ప్రసిద్ధియుండదు.

1. Of Moab, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts God of Israel, Alas for Nebo, for it is laid waste, put to shame captured, is Kiriathaim, put to shame is Misgab, and dismayed.

2. హెష్బోనులో వారు అది ఇకను జనము కాకపోవునట్లు దాని కొట్టివేయుదము రండని చెప్పుకొనుచు దానికి కీడు చేయ నుద్దేశించుచున్నారు మద్మేనా, నీవును ఏమియు చేయలేకపోతివి. ఖడ్గము నిన్ను తరుముచున్నది.

2. No more, is the praise of Moab, In Heshbon, have they devised against her, calamity, Come, and let us cut her off from being a nation, Even thou, Madmen also, shalt be silenced, After thee, shall march the sword.

3. ఆలకించుడి, హొరొనయీమునుండి రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది దోపుడు జరుగుచున్నది మహాపజయము సంభవించు చున్నది.

3. A voice of outcry, from Horonaim, Wasting and great destruction!

4. మోయాబు రాజ్యము లయమై పోయెను దాని బిడ్డల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది.

4. Moab is broken: Her little ones, have caused to be heard an outcry.

5. హొరొనయీము దిగుదలలో పరాజితుల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది జనులు లూహీతు నెక్కుచు ఏడ్చుచున్నారు ఏడ్చుచు ఎక్కుచున్నారు.

5. For the ascent of Luhith, with weeping, one ascendeth with weeping, For in the descent of Horonaim, the distress of the outcry of destruction, have they heard:

6. పారిపోవుడి మీ ప్రాణములను దక్కించుకొనుడి అరణ్యములోని అరుహవృక్షమువలె ఉండుడి.

6. Flee deliver your own lives, Then shall the women be as a shrub in the desert.

7. నీవు నీ క్రియలను ఆశ్రయించితివి నీ నిధులను నమ్ము కొంటివి నీవును పట్టుకొనబడెదవు, కెమోషుదేవత చెరలోనికి పోవును ఒకడు తప్పకుండ వాని యాజకులును అధిపతులును చెరలోనికి పోవుదురు.

7. For seeing thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, Thou too, shalt be captured, Then shall Chemosh go forth into captivity, His priests and his princes together.

8. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునట్లు సంహారకుడు ప్రతి పట్టణముమీదికి వచ్చును ఏ పట్టణమును తప్పించుకొనజాలదు లోయకూడ నశించును మైదానము పాడైపోవును.

8. And the spoiler shall enter into every city, And not, a city, shall escape, Then shall perish the vale Then be destroyed the table-land, As Yahweh hath said.

9. మోయాబునకు రెక్కలు పెట్టుడి అది వేగిరముగా బయలుదేరి పోవలెను. నివాసి యెవడును లేకుండ దాని పట్టణములు పాడగును.

9. Give wing to Moab, For she must, fly away; And her cities To desolation, shall be turned, With no inhabitant therein.

10. యెహోవా కార్యమును అశ్రద్ధగా చేయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక రక్తము ఓడ్చకుండ ఖడ్డము దూయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక.

10. Accursed be he that doeth the business of Yahweh carelessly; And, accursed be he that withholdeth his sword, from blood!

11. మోయాబు తన బాల్యమునుండి నెమ్మది నొందెను ఈ కుండలోనుండి ఆ కుండలోనికి కుమ్మరింపబడకుండ అది మడ్డిమీద నిలిచెను అదెన్నడును చెరలోనికి పోయినది కాదు అందుచేత దాని సారము దానిలో నిలిచియున్నది దాని వాసన ఎప్పటివలెనే నిలుచుచున్నది.

11. Moab, hath been at ease from his youth, And settled is he upon his lees, And hath not been poured out from vessel to vessel, Nor into captivity, hath gone, For this cause, hath his flavour stood still within him, And his scent is unchanged.

12. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు రాగల దినములలో నేను దానియొద్దకు కుమ్మరించు వారిని పంపెదను. వారు దాని కుమ్మరించి దాని పాత్రలను వెలితిచేసివారి జాడీలను పగులగొట్టెదరు.

12. Therefore, lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, When I will send to him tilters and they shall tilt him, And his vessels, shall they empty, And their jars, shall they dash in pieces.

13. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు తామాశ్రయించిన బేతేలునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడినట్లు మోయాబీయులును కెమోషునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడుచున్నారు

13. Then shall Moab, be ashamed, of, Chemosh, Just as, the sons of Israel, were ashamed of Bethel their confidence.

14. మేము బలాఢ్యులమనియు యుద్ధశూరులమనియు మీరెట్లు చెప్పుకొందురు?

14. How can ye say, Heroes, are we? and Men of might for the war?

15. మోయాబు పాడైపోవుచున్నది శత్రువులు దాని పట్టణములలో చొరబడుచున్నారు వారి యౌవనులలో శ్రేష్ఠులు వధకు పోవుచున్నారు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అను పేరుగల రాజు సెలవిచ్చినమాట యిదే.

15. Spoiled is Moab And her cities, hath he ascended, And the choice of his young men, have gone down to the slaughter, Declareth The King, Yahweh of hosts, is his Name.

16. మోయాబునకు సమూలనాశనము సమీపించుచున్నది దానికి సంభవించు దుఃఖము త్వరపడి వచ్చుచున్నది.

16. Near is the doom of Moab, to come, And, his calamity, hasteth greatly.

17. దానిచుట్టునున్న మీరందరు దానినిగూర్చి అంగలార్చుడి దాని కీర్తినిగూర్చి విననివారలారా, అంగలార్చుడి బలమైన రాజదండము ప్రభావముగల రాజదండము విరిగిపోయెనే యని చెప్పుకొనుడి.

17. Lament ye for him All that are round about him, and All that know his name, Say, How is broken The staff of strength! The rod of beauty!

18. దేబోనులో ఆసీనురాలై యుండుదానా, మోయాబును పాడుచేసినవాడు నీ మీదికి వచ్చు చున్నాడు. నీ కోటలను నశింపజేయుచున్నాడు. నీ గొప్పతనము విడిచి దిగిరమ్ముఎండినదేశములో కూర్చుండుము.

18. Come down from glory, and sit in thirst, O inhabitress daughter of Dibon; For the spoiler of Moab, hath come up against thee, He hath laid in ruins thy strongholds.

19. ఆరోయేరు నివాసీ, త్రోవలో నిలిచి కనిపెట్టుము పారిపోవుచున్న వారియొద్ద విచారించుము తప్పించుకొనిపోవుచున్నవారిని అడుగుము ఏమి జరిగినదో వారివలన తెలిసికొనుము.

19. Near the way, take thy stand and keep outlook, O inhabitress of Aroer: Ask him that fleeth, and Her that hath escaped, Say, What hath happened?

20. మోయాబు పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొంది యున్నది గోలయెత్తి కేకలువేయుము మోయాబు అపజయము నొందెను. అర్నోనులో ఈ సంగతి తెలియజెప్పుడి

20. Confounded is Moab! For it is broken down! Howl and make outcry, Tell ye in Arnon, That Moab is spoiled;

21. మైదానములోని దేశమునకు శిక్ష విధింపబడియున్నది హోలోనునకును యాహసునకును మేఫాతునకును దీబోనుకును

21. And, judgment, hath come Upon the country of the table-land, Upon Holon, and Upon Jazer and Upon Mephaath;

22. నెబోకును బేత్‌దిబ్లాతయీమునకును కిర్యతాయిమున కును బేత్గామూలునకును

22. and Upon Dibon, and Upon Nebo, and Upon Beth-diblathaim;

23. బేత్మెయోనునకును కెరీయోతునకును బొస్రాకును దూరమైనట్టియు సమీపమైనట్టియు

23. and Upon Kiriathaim, and Upon Beth-gamul, and Upon Beth-meon;

24. మోయాబుదేశ పురములన్నిటికిని శిక్ష విధింపబడి యున్నది.

24. and Upon Kerioth, and Upon Bozrah, Yea, upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far and near.

25. మోయాబు శృంగము నరికివేయబడియున్నది దాని బాహువు విరువబడియున్నది యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే.

25. Cut off is the horn of Moab, Yea, his arm, is broken, Declareth Yahweh.

26. మోయాబు యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా తన్ను తాను గొప్పచేసికొనెను దాని మత్తిల్లజేయుడి మోయాబు తన వమనములో పొర్లుచున్నది అది అపహాస్యమునొందును.

26. Make ye him drunken, Because against Yahweh, hath he magnified himself; So shall, Moab, stagger, into his own vomit, And shall become a derision, even he!

27. ఇశ్రాయేలును నీవు అపహాస్యాస్పదముగా ఎంచలేదా? అతడు దొంగలకు జతగాడైనట్టుగా నీవు అతనిగూర్చి పలుకునప్పుడెల్ల తల ఆడించుచు వచ్చితివి

27. And was it not, a derision, that Israel became to thee? And was it not among thieves, he was found? For, as often as thou didst speak of him, thou didst wag the head!

28. మోయాబు నివాసులారా, పట్టణములు విడువుడి కొండపేటు సందులలో గూడు కట్టుకొను గువ్వలవలె కొండలో కాపురముండుడి.

28. Leave ye the cities and dwell in the cliff, Ye inhabitants of Moab; And become ye as a dove, that maketh her nest in the further-side of the fissure mouth.

29. మోయోబీయుల గర్వమునుగూర్చి వింటిమి, వారు బహు గర్వపోతులు వారి అతిశయమునుగూర్చియు గర్వమునుగూర్చియు

29. We have heard the arrogance of Moab proud exceedingly: His loftiness and his arrogance and his majesty, and his elevation of heart!

30. అహంకారమునుగూర్చియు పొగరునుగూర్చియు మాకు సమాచారము వచ్చెను వారి తామసమును వచించరాని వారి ప్రగల్భములును నాకు తెలిసేయున్నవి చేయదగని క్రియలు వారు బహుగా చేయుచున్నారు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు

30. I know Declareth Yahweh His passion that 'tis Unjust! His boastings, that Untrue have they made them !

31. కాబట్టి మోయాబు నిమిత్తము నేను అంగలార్చు చున్నాను మోయాబు అంతటిని చూచి కేకలు వేయుచున్నాను వారు కీర్హరెశు జనులు లేకపోయిరని మొఱ్ఱపెట్టుచున్నారు.

31. For this cause over Moab, will I howl, And for all Moab, will I make outcry, For the men of Kir-heres, must one moan!

32. సిబ్మా ద్రాక్షవల్లీ, యాజెరునుగూర్చిన యేడ్పును మించునట్లు నేను నిన్నుగూర్చి యేడ్చుచున్నాను నీ తీగెలు ఈ సముద్రమును దాటి వ్యాపించెను అవి యాజెరుసముద్రమువరకు వ్యాపించెను నీ వేసవికాల ఫలములమీదను ద్రాక్షగెలలమీదను పాడుచేయువాడు పడెను.

32. Beyond the weeping of Jazer, will I weep for thee O vine of Sibmah, Thy tendrils, have gone over the sea, Unto the sea of Jazer, have they reached, Upon thy summer fruits And upon thy vintage, the spoiler, hath fallen.

33. ఫలభరితమైన పొలములోనుండియు మోయాబు దేశములోనుండియు ఆనందమును సంతోషమును తొలగిపోయెను ద్రాక్షగానుగలలో ద్రాక్షారసమును లేకుండ చేయు చున్నాను జనులు సంతోషించుచు త్రొక్కరు సంతోషము నిస్సంతోషమాయెను.

33. So shall be withdrawn gladness and exultation From the fruitful field and From the land of Moab, And wine from the vats, have I caused to fail, They shall not treed with shouting, The shouting shall be no shouting!

34. నిమీములో నీళ్లు సహితము ఎండిపోయెను హెష్బోను మొదలుకొని ఏలాలేవరకును యాహసు వరకును సోయరు మొదలుకొని హొరొనయీమువరకును ఎగ్లాత్షాలిషావరకును జనులు కేకలువేయుచున్నారు.

34. From the outcry of Heshbon, Even unto Elealeh Even unto Jahaz, have they given forth their voice, From Zoar even unto Horonaim, the third Eglath, For, even the waters of Nimrim, to utter desolation, have been turned:

35. ఉన్నతస్థలమున బలులు అర్పించువారిని దేవతలకు ధూపమువేయువారిని మోయాబులో లేకుండజేసెను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

35. Then will I cause to cease, from Moab, Declareth Yahweh, him that offereth at a high-place, and him that burneth incense to his gods.

36. వారు సంపాదించినదానిలో శేషించినది నశించి పోయెను మోయాబునుగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె నాదము చేయుచున్నది కీర్హరెశువారినిగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె వాగు చున్నది.

36. For this cause, my heart, for Moab, like flutes, shall make plaintive sounds, Yea my heart for the men of Kir-heres! like flutes, shall make plaintive sounds, Because, the abundance he hath gotten is lost!

37. నిశ్చయముగా ప్రతి తల బోడియాయెను ప్రతి గడ్డము గొరిగింపబడెను చేతులన్నిటిమీద నరుకులును నడుములమీద గోనెపట్టయు నున్నవి.

37. For, every head, is baldness, And every beard, clipped: Upon all hands, are gashes, And upon the loins, sackcloth

38. మోయాబు ఇంటి పైకప్పులన్నిటిమీదను దాని వీధులలోను అంగలార్పు వినబడుచున్నది ఒకడు పనికిమాలిన ఘటమును పగులగొట్టునట్లు నేను మోయాబును పగులగొట్టుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

38. Upon all the housetops of Moab And in her broadways, it is all lamentation, For I have broken Moab Like a vessel wherein is no pleasure Declareth Yahweh.

39. అంగలార్చుడి మోయాబు సమూలధ్వంసమాయెను మోయాబూ, నీవు వెనుకకు తిరిగితివే, సిగ్గుపడుము. మోయాబు తన చుట్టునున్న వారికందరికి అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను భయకారణముగాను ఉండును.

39. How it is broken down! They have howled, How hath Moab turned the back, for shame, So shall Moab become a derision and a terror to all round about him.

40. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా పక్షిరాజు ఎగురునట్లు ఎగిరి అది మోయాబు మీద తన రెక్కలను చాపుచున్నది.

40. For, thus, saith Yahweh, Lo! as an eagle, shall one dart along, And shall spread out his wings towards Moab.

41. కోటలు పడగొట్టబడియున్నవి దుర్గములు పట్టబడి యున్నవి. ఆ దినమున మోయాబు శూరుల హృదయము ప్రసవించు స్త్రీ హృదయమువలె ఉండును.

41. Captured is Kerioth, And the fortresses, are seized, Then shall the heart of the heroes of Moab become in that day, As the heart of a woman in her pains.

42. మోయాబు యెహోవాకంటె గొప్పవాడనని అతిశయపడగా అది జనము కాకుండ నిర్మూలమాయెను.

42. Then shall, Moab, be destroyed from being a people, Because against Yahweh, hath he magnified himself.

43. మోయాబు నివాసీ, భయమును గుంటయు ఉరియు నీమీదికి వచ్చియున్నవి

43. Terror and pit and snare are upon thee O inhabitant of Moab Declareth Yahweh:

44. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. భయము తప్పించుకొనుటకై పారిపోవువారు గుంటలో పడుదురు గుంటలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనువారు ఉరిలో చిక్కు కొందురు మోయాబుమీదికి విమర్శ సంవత్సరమును నేను రప్పించుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. దేశ పరిత్యాగులగువారు బలహీనులై హెష్బోనునీడలో నిలిచియున్నారు.

44. He that fleeth from the face of the terror, Shall fall into the pit, And, he that getteth up out of the pit, Shall be captured by the snare, For I will bring against her against Moab, The year of their visitation, Declareth Yahweh.

45. హెష్బోనులోనుండి అగ్నియు సీహోను మధ్యనుండి జ్వాలలును బయలుదేరి

45. In the shadow of Heshbon, stand strengthless, the fugitives, For, a fire, hath gone forth out of Heshbon And shall flame out of the midst of Sihon, And shall devour the beard of Moab, And the crown of the head of the proudly tumultuous.

46. మోయాబు శిరస్సును, సందడిచేయువారి నడినెత్తిని కాల్చివేయుచున్నవి. మోయాబూ, నీకు శ్రమ కెమోషుజనులు నశించియున్నారు నీ కుమారులు చెరపట్టబడిరి చెరపట్టబడినవారిలో నీ కుమార్తెలున్నారు.

46. Woe to thee Moab! Lost are the people of Chemosh, For thy sons have been taken, into captivity, And thy daughters into captivity.

47. అయితే అంత్యదినములలో చెరపట్టబడిన మోయాబు వారిని నేను తిరిగి రప్పించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. ఇంతటితో మోయాబునుగూర్చిన శిక్షావిధి ముగిసెను.

47. Yet will I bring back the captivity of Moab, In the afterpart of the days, Declareth Yahweh, Thus far, is the sentence of Moab.
