1. మోయాబును గూర్చినది. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు. నెబోకు శ్రమ, అది పాడైపోవుచున్నది. కిర్యతాయిము పట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఎత్తయిన కోట పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొందుచున్నది ఇకను మోయాబునకు ప్రసిద్ధియుండదు.

1. This is what the LORD Almighty said about Moab: 'Pity the people of Nebo--- their town is destroyed! Kiriathaim is captured, its mighty fortress torn down, and its people put to shame;

2. హెష్బోనులో వారు అది ఇకను జనము కాకపోవునట్లు దాని కొట్టివేయుదము రండని చెప్పుకొనుచు దానికి కీడు చేయ నుద్దేశించుచున్నారు మద్మేనా, నీవును ఏమియు చేయలేకపోతివి. ఖడ్గము నిన్ను తరుముచున్నది.

2. the splendor of Moab is gone. The enemy have captured Heshbon and plot to destroy the nation of Moab. The town of Madmen will be silenced; armies will march against it.

3. ఆలకించుడి, హొరొనయీమునుండి రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది దోపుడు జరుగుచున్నది మహాపజయము సంభవించు చున్నది.

3. The people of Horonaim cry out, 'Violence! Destruction!'

4. 'Moab has been destroyed; listen to the children crying.

5. హొరొనయీము దిగుదలలో పరాజితుల రోదనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది జనులు లూహీతు నెక్కుచు ఏడ్చుచున్నారు ఏడ్చుచు ఎక్కుచున్నారు.

5. Hear the sound of their sobs along the road up to Luhith, the cries of distress on the way down to Horonaim.

6. పారిపోవుడి మీ ప్రాణములను దక్కించుకొనుడి అరణ్యములోని అరుహవృక్షమువలె ఉండుడి.

6. 'Quick, run for your lives!' they say. 'Run like a wild desert donkey!'

7. నీవు నీ క్రియలను ఆశ్రయించితివి నీ నిధులను నమ్ము కొంటివి నీవును పట్టుకొనబడెదవు, కెమోషుదేవత చెరలోనికి పోవును ఒకడు తప్పకుండ వాని యాజకులును అధిపతులును చెరలోనికి పోవుదురు.

7. 'Moab, you trusted in your strength and your wealth, but now even you will be conquered; your god Chemosh will go into exile, along with his princes and priests.

8. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునట్లు సంహారకుడు ప్రతి పట్టణముమీదికి వచ్చును ఏ పట్టణమును తప్పించుకొనజాలదు లోయకూడ నశించును మైదానము పాడైపోవును.

8. Not a town will escape the destruction; both valley and plain will be ruined. I, the LORD, have spoken.

9. మోయాబునకు రెక్కలు పెట్టుడి అది వేగిరముగా బయలుదేరి పోవలెను. నివాసి యెవడును లేకుండ దాని పట్టణములు పాడగును.

9. Set up a tombstone for Moab; it will soon be destroyed. Its towns will be left in ruins, and no one will live there again.'

10. యెహోవా కార్యమును అశ్రద్ధగా చేయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక రక్తము ఓడ్చకుండ ఖడ్డము దూయువాడు శాపగ్రస్తు డగును గాక.

10. (Curse those who do not do the LORD's work with all their heart! Curse those who do not slash and kill!)

11. మోయాబు తన బాల్యమునుండి నెమ్మది నొందెను ఈ కుండలోనుండి ఆ కుండలోనికి కుమ్మరింపబడకుండ అది మడ్డిమీద నిలిచెను అదెన్నడును చెరలోనికి పోయినది కాదు అందుచేత దాని సారము దానిలో నిలిచియున్నది దాని వాసన ఎప్పటివలెనే నిలుచుచున్నది.

11. The LORD said, 'Moab has always lived secure and has never been taken into exile. Moab is like wine left to settle undisturbed and never poured from jar to jar. Its flavor has never been ruined, and it tastes as good as ever.

12. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు రాగల దినములలో నేను దానియొద్దకు కుమ్మరించు వారిని పంపెదను. వారు దాని కుమ్మరించి దాని పాత్రలను వెలితిచేసివారి జాడీలను పగులగొట్టెదరు.

12. 'So now, the time is coming when I will send people to pour Moab out like wine. They will empty its wine jars and break them in pieces.

13. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు తామాశ్రయించిన బేతేలునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడినట్లు మోయాబీయులును కెమోషునుబట్టి సిగ్గుపడుచున్నారు

13. Then the Moabites will be disillusioned with their god Chemosh, just as the Israelites were disillusioned with Bethel, a god in whom they trusted.

14. మేము బలాఢ్యులమనియు యుద్ధశూరులమనియు మీరెట్లు చెప్పుకొందురు?

14. 'Men of Moab, why do you claim to be heroes, brave soldiers tested in war?

15. మోయాబు పాడైపోవుచున్నది శత్రువులు దాని పట్టణములలో చొరబడుచున్నారు వారి యౌవనులలో శ్రేష్ఠులు వధకు పోవుచున్నారు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అను పేరుగల రాజు సెలవిచ్చినమాట యిదే.

15. Moab and its cities are destroyed; its finest young men have been slaughtered. I am the king, the LORD Almighty, and I have spoken.

16. మోయాబునకు సమూలనాశనము సమీపించుచున్నది దానికి సంభవించు దుఃఖము త్వరపడి వచ్చుచున్నది.

16. Moab's doom approaches; its ruin is coming soon.

17. దానిచుట్టునున్న మీరందరు దానినిగూర్చి అంగలార్చుడి దాని కీర్తినిగూర్చి విననివారలారా, అంగలార్చుడి బలమైన రాజదండము ప్రభావముగల రాజదండము విరిగిపోయెనే యని చెప్పుకొనుడి.

17. 'Mourn for that nation, you that live nearby, all of you that know its fame. Say, 'Its powerful rule has been broken; its glory and might are no more.'

18. దేబోనులో ఆసీనురాలై యుండుదానా, మోయాబును పాడుచేసినవాడు నీ మీదికి వచ్చు చున్నాడు. నీ కోటలను నశింపజేయుచున్నాడు. నీ గొప్పతనము విడిచి దిగిరమ్ముఎండినదేశములో కూర్చుండుము.

18. You that live in Dibon, come down from your place of honor and sit on the ground in the dust; Moab's destroyer is here and has left its forts in ruins.

19. ఆరోయేరు నివాసీ, త్రోవలో నిలిచి కనిపెట్టుము పారిపోవుచున్న వారియొద్ద విచారించుము తప్పించుకొనిపోవుచున్నవారిని అడుగుము ఏమి జరిగినదో వారివలన తెలిసికొనుము.

19. You that live in Aroer, stand by the road and wait; ask those who are running away, find out from them what has happened.

20. మోయాబు పడగొట్టబడినదై అవమానము నొంది యున్నది గోలయెత్తి కేకలువేయుము మోయాబు అపజయము నొందెను. అర్నోనులో ఈ సంగతి తెలియజెప్పుడి

20. 'Moab has fallen,' they will answer, 'weep for it; it is disgraced. Announce along the Arnon River that Moab is destroyed!'

21. మైదానములోని దేశమునకు శిక్ష విధింపబడియున్నది హోలోనునకును యాహసునకును మేఫాతునకును దీబోనుకును

21. 'Judgment has come on the cities of the plateau: on Holon, Jahzah, Mephaath,

22. నెబోకును బేత్‌దిబ్లాతయీమునకును కిర్యతాయిమున కును బేత్గామూలునకును

22. Dibon, Nebo, Beth Diblathaim,

23. బేత్మెయోనునకును కెరీయోతునకును బొస్రాకును దూరమైనట్టియు సమీపమైనట్టియు

23. Kiriathaim, Bethgamul, Bethmeon,

24. మోయాబుదేశ పురములన్నిటికిని శిక్ష విధింపబడి యున్నది.

24. Kerioth, and Bozrah. Judgment has come on all the cities of Moab, far and near.

25. మోయాబు శృంగము నరికివేయబడియున్నది దాని బాహువు విరువబడియున్నది యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే.

25. Moab's might has been crushed; its power has been destroyed. I, the LORD, have spoken.'

26. మోయాబు యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా తన్ను తాను గొప్పచేసికొనెను దాని మత్తిల్లజేయుడి మోయాబు తన వమనములో పొర్లుచున్నది అది అపహాస్యమునొందును.

26. The LORD said, 'Make Moab drunk, because it has rebelled against me. Moab will roll in its own vomit, and people will laugh.

27. ఇశ్రాయేలును నీవు అపహాస్యాస్పదముగా ఎంచలేదా? అతడు దొంగలకు జతగాడైనట్టుగా నీవు అతనిగూర్చి పలుకునప్పుడెల్ల తల ఆడించుచు వచ్చితివి

27. Moab, remember how you made fun of the people of Israel? You treated them as though they had been caught with a gang of robbers.

28. మోయాబు నివాసులారా, పట్టణములు విడువుడి కొండపేటు సందులలో గూడు కట్టుకొను గువ్వలవలె కొండలో కాపురముండుడి.

28. 'You people who live in Moab, leave your towns! Go and live on the cliffs! Be like the dove that makes its nest in the sides of a ravine.

29. మోయోబీయుల గర్వమునుగూర్చి వింటిమి, వారు బహు గర్వపోతులు వారి అతిశయమునుగూర్చియు గర్వమునుగూర్చియు

29. Moab is very proud! I have heard how proud, arrogant, and conceited the people are, how much they think of themselves.

30. అహంకారమునుగూర్చియు పొగరునుగూర్చియు మాకు సమాచారము వచ్చెను వారి తామసమును వచించరాని వారి ప్రగల్భములును నాకు తెలిసేయున్నవి చేయదగని క్రియలు వారు బహుగా చేయుచున్నారు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు

30. I, the LORD, know of their arrogance. Their boasts amount to nothing, and the things they do will not last.

31. కాబట్టి మోయాబు నిమిత్తము నేను అంగలార్చు చున్నాను మోయాబు అంతటిని చూచి కేకలు వేయుచున్నాను వారు కీర్హరెశు జనులు లేకపోయిరని మొఱ్ఱపెట్టుచున్నారు.

31. And so I will weep for everyone in Moab and for the people of Kir Heres.

32. సిబ్మా ద్రాక్షవల్లీ, యాజెరునుగూర్చిన యేడ్పును మించునట్లు నేను నిన్నుగూర్చి యేడ్చుచున్నాను నీ తీగెలు ఈ సముద్రమును దాటి వ్యాపించెను అవి యాజెరుసముద్రమువరకు వ్యాపించెను నీ వేసవికాల ఫలములమీదను ద్రాక్షగెలలమీదను పాడుచేయువాడు పడెను.

32. I will cry for the people of Sibmah, even more than for the people of Jazer. City of Sibmah, you are like a vine whose branches reach across the Dead Sea and go as far as Jazer. But now your summer fruits and your grapes have been destroyed.

33. ఫలభరితమైన పొలములోనుండియు మోయాబు దేశములోనుండియు ఆనందమును సంతోషమును తొలగిపోయెను ద్రాక్షగానుగలలో ద్రాక్షారసమును లేకుండ చేయు చున్నాను జనులు సంతోషించుచు త్రొక్కరు సంతోషము నిస్సంతోషమాయెను.

33. Happiness and joy have been taken away from the fertile land of Moab. I have made the wine stop flowing from the wine presses; there is no one to make the wine and shout for joy.

34. నిమీములో నీళ్లు సహితము ఎండిపోయెను హెష్బోను మొదలుకొని ఏలాలేవరకును యాహసు వరకును సోయరు మొదలుకొని హొరొనయీమువరకును ఎగ్లాత్షాలిషావరకును జనులు కేకలువేయుచున్నారు.

34. 'The people of Heshbon and Elealeh cry out, and their cry can be heard as far as Jahaz; it can be heard by the people in Zoar, and it is heard as far as Horonaim and Eglath Shelishiyah. Even Nimrim Brook has dried up.

35. ఉన్నతస్థలమున బలులు అర్పించువారిని దేవతలకు ధూపమువేయువారిని మోయాబులో లేకుండజేసెను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

35. I will stop the people of Moab from making burnt offerings at their places of worship and from offering sacrifices to their gods. I, the LORD, have spoken.

36. వారు సంపాదించినదానిలో శేషించినది నశించి పోయెను మోయాబునుగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె నాదము చేయుచున్నది కీర్హరెశువారినిగూర్చి నా గుండె పిల్లనగ్రోవివలె వాగు చున్నది.

36. 'So my heart mourns for Moab and for the people of Kir Heres, like someone playing a funeral song on a flute, because everything they owned is gone.

37. నిశ్చయముగా ప్రతి తల బోడియాయెను ప్రతి గడ్డము గొరిగింపబడెను చేతులన్నిటిమీద నరుకులును నడుములమీద గోనెపట్టయు నున్నవి.

37. All of them have shaved their heads and cut off their beards. They have all made gashes on their hands, and everyone is wearing sackcloth.

38. మోయాబు ఇంటి పైకప్పులన్నిటిమీదను దాని వీధులలోను అంగలార్పు వినబడుచున్నది ఒకడు పనికిమాలిన ఘటమును పగులగొట్టునట్లు నేను మోయాబును పగులగొట్టుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

38. On all the housetops of Moab and in all its public squares there is nothing but mourning, because I have broken Moab like a jar that no one wants.

39. అంగలార్చుడి మోయాబు సమూలధ్వంసమాయెను మోయాబూ, నీవు వెనుకకు తిరిగితివే, సిగ్గుపడుము. మోయాబు తన చుట్టునున్న వారికందరికి అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను భయకారణముగాను ఉండును.

39. Moab has been shattered! Cry out! Moab has been disgraced. It is in ruins, and all the surrounding nations make fun of it. I, the LORD, have spoken.'

40. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా పక్షిరాజు ఎగురునట్లు ఎగిరి అది మోయాబు మీద తన రెక్కలను చాపుచున్నది.

40. The LORD has promised that a nation will swoop down on Moab like an eagle with its outspread wings,

41. కోటలు పడగొట్టబడియున్నవి దుర్గములు పట్టబడి యున్నవి. ఆ దినమున మోయాబు శూరుల హృదయము ప్రసవించు స్త్రీ హృదయమువలె ఉండును.

41. and the towns and fortresses will be captured. On that day Moab's soldiers will be as frightened as a woman in labor.

42. మోయాబు యెహోవాకంటె గొప్పవాడనని అతిశయపడగా అది జనము కాకుండ నిర్మూలమాయెను.

42. Moab will be destroyed and will no longer be a nation, because it rebelled against me.

43. మోయాబు నివాసీ, భయమును గుంటయు ఉరియు నీమీదికి వచ్చియున్నవి

43. Terror, pits, and traps are waiting for the people of Moab. The LORD has spoken.

44. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. భయము తప్పించుకొనుటకై పారిపోవువారు గుంటలో పడుదురు గుంటలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనువారు ఉరిలో చిక్కు కొందురు మోయాబుమీదికి విమర్శ సంవత్సరమును నేను రప్పించుచున్నాను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. దేశ పరిత్యాగులగువారు బలహీనులై హెష్బోనునీడలో నిలిచియున్నారు.

44. Whoever tries to escape the terror will fall into the pits, and whoever climbs out of the pits will be caught in the traps, because the LORD has set the time for Moab's destruction.

45. హెష్బోనులోనుండి అగ్నియు సీహోను మధ్యనుండి జ్వాలలును బయలుదేరి

45. Helpless refugees try to find protection in Heshbon, the city that King Sihon once ruled, but it is in flames. Fire has burned up the frontiers and the mountain heights of the war-loving people of Moab.

46. మోయాబు శిరస్సును, సందడిచేయువారి నడినెత్తిని కాల్చివేయుచున్నవి. మోయాబూ, నీకు శ్రమ కెమోషుజనులు నశించియున్నారు నీ కుమారులు చెరపట్టబడిరి చెరపట్టబడినవారిలో నీ కుమార్తెలున్నారు.

46. Pity the people of Moab! The people who worshiped Chemosh have been destroyed, and their sons and daughters have been taken away as prisoners.

47. అయితే అంత్యదినములలో చెరపట్టబడిన మోయాబు వారిని నేను తిరిగి రప్పించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. ఇంతటితో మోయాబునుగూర్చిన శిక్షావిధి ముగిసెను.

47. But in days to come the LORD will make Moab prosperous again. All of this is what the LORD has said will happen to Moab.
