1. బబులోనునుగూర్చియు కల్దీయుల దేశమునుగూర్చియు ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా ద్వారా యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన వాక్కు

1. The word which the Lord spoke about Babylon, the land of the Babylonians, through Jeremiah the man of God:

2. జనములలో ప్రకటించుడి సమాచారము తెలియ జేయుడి ధ్వజమునెత్తి మరుగుచేయక చాటించుడి బబులోను పట్టబడును బేలు అవమానము నొందును మెరోదకు నేల పడవేయబడును బబులోను విగ్రహములు అవమానము నొందును దాని బొమ్మలు బోర్లద్రోయబడును

2. 'Make it known among the nations. Lift up a flag and make it known. Do not hide it, but say, 'Babylon has been taken. Bel has been put to shame. Marduk has been broken down. Her objects of worship have been put to shame. Her false gods have been broken down.'

3. ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండి దానిమీదికి ఒక జనము వచ్చు చున్నది ఏ నివాసియు లేకుండ అది దాని దేశమును పాడు చేయును మనుష్యులేమి పశువులేమి అందరును పారిపోవుదురు అందరును తర్లిపోవుదురు.

3. For a nation has come up against her from the north. It will make her land an empty waste, and no one will live in it. Both man and animal will run away.

4. ఆ కాలమున ఆనాటికి ఇశ్రాయేలువారును యూదా వారును కూడి వచ్చెదరు ఏడ్చుచు సాగుచు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవాయొద్ద విచారించుటకై వచ్చెదరు

4. 'In those days and at that time,' says the Lord, 'the sons of Israel will come, together with the sons of Judah. They will cry as they come, and will be looking for the Lord their God.

5. ఎన్నటికిని మరువబడని నిత్యనిబంధన చేసికొని యెహోవాను కలిసికొందము రండని చెప్పుకొనుచు సీయోనుతట్టు అభిముఖులై ఆచ్చటికి వెళ్లు మార్గము ఏదని అడుగుచు వచ్చెదరు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

5. They will ask the way to Zion, with faces turned toward it, saying, 'Come, let us join ourselves to the Lord in an agreement that lasts forever, one that will never be forgotten.'

6. నా ప్రజలు త్రోవతప్పిన గొఱ్ఱెలుగా ఉన్నారు వారి కాపరులు కొండలమీదికి వారిని తోలుకొని పోయి వారిని త్రోవ తప్పించిరి జనులు కొండకొండకు వెళ్లుచు తాము దిగవలసిన చోటు మరచిపోయిరి.

6. 'My people have become lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them the wrong way. They have made them turn away on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill and have forgotten their resting place.

7. కనుగొనినవారందరు వారిని భక్షించుచు వచ్చిరి వారి శత్రువులు మేము అపరాధులము కాము వీరు న్యాయమునకు నివాసమును తమ పితరులకు నిరీక్షణాధారమునగు యెహోవామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేసినందున ఇది వారికి సంభవించెనని చెప్పుదురు.

7. All who found them have destroyed them. Those who hate them have said, 'We are not guilty, for they have sinned against the Lord, their true resting place Who is right and good, the hope of their fathers.'

8. బబులోనులోనుండి పారిపోవుడి కల్దీయులదేశములోనుండి బయలువెళ్లుడి మందలకు ముందు మేకపోతులు నడుచునట్లు ముందర నడువుడి.

8. Run out of Babylon. Go from the land of the Babylonians. Be like male goats that go before the flock.

9. ఉత్తరదేశమునుండి మహాజనముల సమూహమును నేను రేపుచున్నాను బబులోనునకు విరోధముగా దానిని రప్పించుచున్నాను ఆ జనులు దానిమీదికి యుద్ధపంక్తులు తీర్చుచున్నారు వారి మధ్యనుండియే ఆమె పట్టబడును ప్రజ్ఞగల బలాఢ్యులు దోపుడుసొమ్ము పట్టుకొనక మరలని రీతిగా వారి బాణములు అమోఘములై తిరిగి రాకుండును.

9. For I am going to raise up and bring against Babylon a group of great nations from the land of the north. They will come ready for battle against her, and she will be taken. Their arrows will be like an able soldier who does not return with empty hands.

10. కల్దీయుల దేశము దోపుడుసొమ్మగును దాని దోచుకొను వారందరు సంతుష్టి నొందెదరు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

10. Babylon will become a prize of war. All who take things from her will have enough,' says the Lord.

11. నా స్వాస్థ్యమును దోచుకొనువారలారా, సంతోషించుచు ఉత్సహించుచు నురిపిడిచేయుచు పెయ్యవలె గంతులువేయుచు బలమైన గుఱ్ఱములవలె మీరు సకిలించుచున్నారే?

11. 'You are glad and full of joy, O you who take what belongs to My people. You play around like a young cow in grain, and sound like strong horses. Because of this,

12. మీ తల్లి బహుగా సిగ్గుపడును మిమ్మును కన్నది తెల్లబోవును ఇదిగో అది జనములన్నిటిలో అతినీచ జనమగును అది యెడారియు ఎండినభూమియు అడవియు నగును.

12. your mother will be very ashamed. She who gave birth to you will be put to shame. She will be the least of the nations, a place where no people live, a waste, and a desert.

13. యెహోవా రౌద్రమునుబట్టి అది నిర్జనమగును అది కేవలము పాడైపోవును బబులోను మార్గమున పోవువారందరు ఆశ్చర్యపడి దాని తెగుళ్లన్నియు చూచి ఆహా నీకీగతి పట్టినదా? అందురు

13. Because of the Lord's anger no people will live there. She will be left with no people. Everyone who passes by Babylon will be surprised, and will make fun of her because of her sores.

14. ఆమె యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా పాపముచేసినది. విల్లు త్రొక్కువారలారా, మీరందరు బబులోనునకు విరోధముగా దాని చుట్టు యుద్ధపంక్తులు తీర్చుడి ఎడతెగక దానిమీద బాణములు వేయుడి

14. Come up for battle against Babylon on every side, all you who use the bow. Shoot at her. Do not save any of your arrows, for she has sinned against the Lord.

15. చుట్టు కూడి దానిని బట్టి కేకలువేయుడి అది లోబడ నొప్పుకొనుచున్నది దాని బురుజులు పడిపోవుచున్నవి దాని ప్రాకారములు విరుగగొట్టబడుచున్నవి ఇది యెహోవా చేయు ప్రతికారము. దానిమీద పగతీర్చుకొనుడి అది చేసినట్టే దానికి చేయుడి.

15. Raise your battle cry against her on every side. She has given herself up. Her strong pillars have fallen. Her walls have been torn down. Since this is the punishment of the Lord, punish her. Do to her as she has done to others.

16. బబులోనులో నుండకుండ విత్తువారిని నిర్మూలము చేయుడి కోతకాలమున కొడవలి పట్టుకొనువారిని నిర్మూలము చేయుడి క్రూరమైన ఖడ్గమునకు భయపడి వారందరు తమ ప్రజలయొద్దకు వెళ్లుచున్నారు తమ తమ దేశములకు పారిపోవుచున్నారు.

16. Cut off from Babylon the one who plants seeds and the one who cuts the grain at gathering time. Because of the sword of the one who makes it hard for them, everyone will return to his own people. Each one will run to his own land.

17. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు చెదిరిపోయిన గొఱ్ఱెలు సింహములు వారిని తొలగగొట్టెను మొదట అష్షూరురాజు వారిని భక్షించెను కడపట బబులోను రాజైన యీ నెబుకద్రెజరు వారి యెముకలను నలుగగొట్టుచున్నాడు.

17. 'Israel is like sheep sent everywhere, driven away by lions. The first one who destroyed Israel was the king of Assyria. And the last one who has broken his bones is Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

18. కావున ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు అష్షూరు రాజును నేను దండించినట్లు బబులోనురాజును అతని దేశమును దండించెదను.

18. So the Lord of All, the God of Israel, says: 'I am going to punish the king of Babylon and his land, just as I punished the king of Assyria.

19. ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని తమ మేతస్థలమునకు నేను తిరిగి రప్పించెదను వారు కర్మెలుమీదను బాషానుమీదను మేయుదురు ఎఫ్రాయిము కొండలమీదను గిలాదులోను మేయుచు సంతుష్టినొందును.

19. I will return Israel to his field, and he will feed on Carmel and Bashan. And his desire will be filled in the hill country of Ephraim and Gilead.

20. ఆ కాలమున ఆ నాటికి ఇశ్రాయేలు దోషమును వెదకినను అది కనబడకుండును. యూదా పాపములు వెదకిను అవి దొరుకవు శేషింపజేసినవారిని నేను క్షమించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

20. In those days and at that time,' says the Lord, 'sin will be looked for in Israel, but there will be none. And sin will be looked for in Judah, but it will not be found. For I will forgive those whom I allow to return.'

21. దండెత్తి మెరాతయీయుల దేశముమీదికి పొమ్ము పెకోదీయుల దేశముమీదికి పొమ్ము వారిని హతముచేయుము వారు శాపగ్రస్తులని ప్రకటించుము నేను మీకిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞ అంతటినిబట్టి చేయుము.

21. 'Go up against the land of Merathaim, and against the people of Pekod. Kill and destroy all of them,' says the Lord, 'and do all that I have told you.

22. ఆలకించుడి, దేశములో యుద్ధధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది అధిక నాశనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది

22. The noise of battle is in the land, and much is destroyed.

23. సర్వభూమిని కొట్టుచున్న సమ్మెట తెగి బొత్తిగా విరుగ గొట్టబడెను అన్యజనులలో బబులోను బొత్తిగా పాడైపోయెను.

23. How the strong one of the whole earth has been cut off and broken! Babylon has become a complete waste among the nations!

24. బబులోనూ, నిన్ను పట్టుకొనుటకై బోను పెట్టి యున్నాను తెలియకయే నీవు పట్టబడియున్నావు యెహోవాతో నీవు యుద్ధముచేయ బూనుకొంటివి నీవు చిక్కుపడి పట్టబడియున్నావు.

24. I set a trap for you, and you were caught, O Babylon, and you did not know it. You have been found and caught, because you have fought against the Lord.'

25. కల్దీయులదేశములో ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవాకు పనియున్నది యెహోవా తన ఆయుధశాలను తెరచి కోపముతీర్చు తన ఆయుధములను వెలుపలికి తెచ్చు చున్నాడు.

25. The Lord has opened His store-house and has brought out the swords of His anger. For the Lord, the God of All, has work to do in the land of the Babylonians.

26. నలుదిక్కులనుండి వచ్చి దానిమీద పడుడి దాని ధాన్యపుకొట్లను విప్పుడి కసవు కుప్పలువేసినట్లు దానిని కుప్పలువేయుడి శేషమేమియు లేకుండ నాశనము చేయుడి

26. Come to her from the farthest land. Open her store-houses. Gather her up like grain, and destroy all of her. Let nothing be left of her.

27. దాని యెడ్లన్నిటిని వధించుడి అవి వధకు పోవలెను అయ్యో, వారికి శ్రమ వారి దినము ఆసన్నమాయెను వారి దండనకాలము వచ్చెను.

27. Kill all her young bulls. Let them go down to be killed. It is bad for them, for their day has come, the time of their punishment.

28. ఆలకించుడి, పారిపోయి బబులోను దేశములోనుండి తప్పించుకొని వచ్చుచున్నవారి శబ్దము వినబడు చున్నది మన దేవుడగు యెహోవా చేయు ప్రతికార సమా చారమును తన ఆలయము విషయమై ఆయన చేయు ప్రతికార సమాచారమును సీయోనులో ప్రకటించుడి. వారు వచ్చుచున్నారు.

28. Listen! They are running from the land of Babylon to tell in Zion about the punishment of the Lord our God. They are telling how the Lord punishes those who destroyed His house of worship.

29. బబులోనునకు రండని విలుకాండ్రమ పిలువుడి విల్లు త్రొక్కువారలారా, మీరందరు దానిచుట్టు దిగుడి. అది యెహోవామీద గర్వపడినది ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధునిమీద గర్వపడినది దానిలో నొకడును తప్పించుకొనకూడదు దాని క్రియలనుబట్టి దానికి ప్రతికారము చేయుడి అది చేసిన పనియంతటినిబట్టి దానికి ప్రతికారము చేయుడి.

29. 'Call all those who use the bow to fight against Babylon. Gather around her on every side. Let no one get away. Pay her back for what she did. Do to her all that she has done. For she has been proud against the Lord, against the Holy One of Israel.

30. కావున ఆ దినమున దాని ¸యౌవనస్థులు దాని వీధులలో కూలుదురు దాని యోధులందరు తుడిచివేయబడుదురు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

30. So her young men will fall in her streets. And all her men of war will be made quiet in that day,' says the Lord.

31. ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే గర్విష్ఠుడా, నేను నీకు విరోధినై యున్నాను నీ దినము వచ్చుచున్నది నేను నిన్ను శిక్షించుకాలము వచ్చుచున్నది

31. 'See, I am against you, O proud one,' says the Lord God of All. 'For your day has come, the time when I will punish you.

32. గర్విష్ఠుడు తొట్రిల్లి కూలును అతని లేవనెత్తువాడెవడును లేకపోవును నేనతని పురములలో అగ్ని రాజబెట్టెదను అది అతని చుట్టుపట్టులన్నిటిని కాల్చివేయును.

32. The proud one will trip and fall with no one to help him up. I will set fire to his cities, and it will burn up all that is around him.'

33. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఒకడును తప్పకుండ ఇశ్రాయేలువారును యూదా వారును బాధింపబడిరి వారిని చెరపెట్టినవారందరు వారిని గట్టిగా పట్టుకొను చున్నారు వారిని పోనిచ్చుటకు సమ్మతింపరు.

33. The Lord of All says, 'The sons of Israel and the sons of Judah are troubled and are held under a bad power. All who took them away in chains have held on to them. They have not been willing to let them go.

34. వారి విమోచకుడు బలవంతుడు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అని ఆయనకు పేరు భూమికి విశ్రాంతి కలుగజేయుటకును బబులోను నివాసులను కలవరపరచుటకును ఆయన బాగుగా వాదించి వారి వ్యాజ్యెమును కడ ముట్టించును.

34. The One Who saves and makes them free is strong. The Lord of All is His name. He will work hard for their cause, so that He may give rest to the land. But He will not give rest to the people of Babylon.

35. యెహోవా మాట యిదే కల్దీయులును బబులోను నివాసులును దాని అధిపతులును జ్ఞానులును కత్తిపాలగుదురు

35. A sword is against the Babylonians,' says the Lord, 'and against the people of Babylon, and against her leaders and her wise men!

36. ప్రగల్భములు పలుకువారు ఖడ్గవశులై పిచ్చివాండ్రగుదురు. బలాఢ్యులు నిర్మూలమగువరకు ఖడ్గము వారిమీద పడును

36. A sword is against her religious leaders who are false and lie. They will become fools! A sword is against her strong men, and they will be filled with fear!

37. ఖడ్గము వారి గుఱ్ఱములమీద పడును వారి రథముల మీద పడును ఖడ్గము వారిమీదికి దిగుటచేత దానిలోనున్న పరదేశులు స్త్రీలవంటివారగుదురు అది దాని నిధులమీద పడగా అవి దోచుకొనబడును.

37. A sword is against her horses and warwagons, and against all the soldiers from other lands who are with her! They will become like women! A sword is against her riches, and they will be taken!

38. నీళ్లకు ఎద్దడి తగులును అవి ఇంకిపోవును అది చెక్కబడిన విగ్రహములుగల దేశము జనులు భీకరప్రతిమలనుబట్టి పిచ్చిచేష్టలు చేయుదురు.

38. A time of no rain and her waters will be dried up! For it is a land of false gods. They are wild over false gods.

39. అందుచేతను అడవిపిల్లులును నక్కలును అక్కడ నివసించును నిప్పుకోళ్లును దానిలో నివాసముచేయును ఇకమీదట అది ఎన్నడును నివాసస్థలము కాకపోవును తరతరములు దానిలో ఎవరును కాపురముండరు.

39. So the desert animals will live there together with the wild dogs. And ostriches also will live in it. Never again will people live there.

40. యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే సొదొమను గొమొఱ్ఱాను వాటి సమీప పట్టణములను దేవుడు నాశనము చేసినప్పుడు జరిగిన రీతిగా ఎవడును అక్కడ కాపురముండకపోవును ఏ నరుడును దానిలో బసచేయడు.

40. As when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities,' says the Lord, 'no man will live there. And no man will stay there.

41. జనులు ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండి వచ్చుచున్నారు మహాజనమును అనేక రాజులును భూదిగంతములనుండి రేపబడెదరు.

41. 'See, a nation is coming from the north. A great nation and many kings are moving from the farthest parts of the earth.

42. వారు వింటిని ఈటెను పట్టుకొని వచ్చెదరు వారు క్రూరులు జాలిపడనివారు వారి స్వరము సముద్రఘోషవలె ఉన్నది వారు గుఱ్ఱములను ఎక్కువారు బబులోను కుమారీ, ఒకడు యుద్ధపంక్తులు తీర్చు రీతిగా వారందరు నీమీద పంక్తులు తీర్చుచున్నారు.

42. They take hold of their bow and spear. They fight without pity. Their voice sounds like the sea. And they ride on horses, dressed ready for battle against you, O people of Babylon.

43. బబులోనురాజు వారి సమాచారము విని దుర్బలు డాయెను అతనికి బాధ కలిగెను ప్రసవ స్త్రీ వేదనవంటి వేదన అతనికి సంభవించెను.

43. The king of Babylon has heard the news about them, and his hands hang without strength. Suffering has taken hold of him, like the pain of a woman giving birth.

44. చిరకాల నివాసమును పట్టుకొనవలెనని శత్రువులు యొర్దాను ప్రవాహములో నుండి సింహము వలె వచ్చుచున్నారు నిమిషములోనే నేను వారిని దానియొద్దనుండి తోలి వేయుదును నేనెవని ఏర్పరతునో వానిని దానిమీద నియమించెదనునన్ను పోలియున్నవాడై నన్ను ఆక్షేపణచేయువాడేడి?నన్ను ఎదిరింపగల కాపరి ఏడి?

44. 'One will come up like a lion from the trees by the Jordan to rich grass fields. All at once I will make the people run away from Babylon. And I will make whoever I choose to rule over it. For who is like Me? Who will call Me into court? What shepherd can stand before Me?'

45. బబులోనునుగూర్చి యెహోవా చేసిన ఆలోచన వినుడి కల్దీయుల దేశమునుగూర్చి ఆయన ఉద్దేశించినది వినుడి నిశ్చయముగా మందలోని అల్పులైనవారిని వారు లాగు దురు నిశ్చయముగా వారినిబట్టి వారి నివాసస్థలము విస్మయ మొందును.

45. So hear the plan which the Lord has made against Babylon. Listen to His plans which He has made against the land of the Babylonians. Even the little ones of the flock will be taken away. He will make their fields an empty waste because of them.

46. బబులోను పట్టబడుచున్నదను సమాచారము విని భూమి కంపించుచున్నది జనములలో అంగలార్పు వినబడుచున్నది.

46. At the cry, 'Babylon has been taken!' the earth will shake, and the cry will be heard among the nations.
