1. Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah, of Libnah.

4. అతని యేలుబడియందు తొమ్మిదవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల పదియవ దినమున బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు తన సైన్యమంతటితో యెరూషలేముమీదికి వచ్చి, దానికి ఎదురుగా దండు దిగినప్పుడు పట్టణమునకు చుట్టు కోటలు కట్టిరి.

4. And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the ninth month, on the tenth day of the month, [that] Nebuchadnezzr king of Babylon came, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and they made a rampart round it, and built a wall round about it with large stones.

5. ఆలాగు జరుగగా సిద్కియా యేలుబడియందు పదకొండవ సంవ త్సరమువరకు పట్టణము ముట్టడిలో నుంచబడెను.

5. So the city was besieged, until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah,

6. నాల్గవ నెల తొమ్మిదవ దినమున క్షామము పట్టణములో హెచ్చుగా నున్నప్పుడు దేశ ప్రజలకు ఆహారము లేకపోయెను.

6. on the ninth day of the month, and [then] the famine was severe in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.

7. పట్టణప్రాకారములు పడగొట్టబడగా సైనికులందరు పారి పోయి రాజుతోటకు దాపైన రెండు గోడల మధ్యనున్న ద్వారపు మార్గమున రాత్రియందు పట్టణములోనుండి బయలు వెళ్లిరి; కల్దీయులు పట్టణమును చుట్టుకొని యుండగా సైనికులు యొర్దానునది మార్గముగా తర్లిపోయిరి.

7. And the city was broken up, and all the men of war went out by night by the way of the gate, between the wall and the outworks, which were by the king's garden. And the Chaldeans were by the city round about; and they went by the way [leading] to the wilderness.

8. కల్దీయుల దండు సిద్కియా రాజును తరిమి యెరికో మైదానములో అతని కలిసికొనగా అతని దండంతయు అతనియొద్దనుండి చెదరిపోయెను.

8. But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook him beyond Jericho. And all his servants were dispersed.

9. వారు రాజును పట్టు కొని హమాతు దేశమునందలి రిబ్లాపట్టణమున నున్న బబు లోను రాజునొద్దకు అతని తీసికొనిపోగా అతడు అచ్చటనే సిద్కియా రాజునకు శిక్షవిధించెను.

9. And they took the king, and brought him to the king of Babylon to Riblah, and he judged him.

10. And the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes; and he killed all the princes of Judah in Riblah.

11. And he put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in fetters. And the king of Babylon brought him to Babylon, and put him into the grinding-house, until the day when he died.

12. And in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nabuzaradan the captain of the guard, who waited on the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem;

13. అతడు యెహోవా మందిరమును రాజునగరును యెరూషలేములోని గొప్పవారి యిండ్లనన్నిటిని కాల్చి వేసెను.

13. and he burned the house of the Lord, and the king's house, and all the houses of the city, and every great house he burned with fire.

14. మరియు రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతితోకూడ నుండిన కల్దీ యుల సేనాసంబంధులందరు యెరూషలేము చుట్టునున్న ప్రాకారములన్నిటిని పడగొట్టిరి

14. And the army of the Chaldeans that was with the captain of the guard pulled down all the wall of Jerusalem round about.

15. మరియు రాజ దేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియైన నెబూజరదాను ప్రజ లలో కడుబీదలైన కొందరిని, పట్టణములో శేషించిన కొదువ ప్రజలను, బబులోనురాజు పక్షము చేరినవారిని, గట్టి పనివారిలో శేషించినవారిని చెరగొని పోయెను.

16. అయితే రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియైన నెబూజర దాను ద్రాక్షావనములను చక్కపరచుటకును సేద్యము చేయుటకును కడుబీదలలో కొందరిని ఉండనిచ్చెను.

16. But the captain of the guard left the remnant of the people to be vinedressers and farmers.

17. మరియు యెహోవా మందిరములోనుండిన ఇత్తడి స్తంభ ములను మందిరములోనుండిన మట్లను ఇత్తడి సముద్రమును కల్దీయులు తునకలుగా కొట్టి ఆ ఇత్తడి అంతయు బబు లోనునకు గొనిపోయిరి.

17. And the Chaldeans broke in pieces the bronze pillars that were in the house of the Lord, and the bases, and the bronze sea that was in the house of the Lord, and they took the brass thereof, and carried it away to Babylon.

18. అదియుగాక వారు బిందెలను కుండలను కత్తెరలను గిన్నెలను గరిటెలను యాజకులు సేవ చేయు ఇత్తడి ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని గొనిపోయిరి.

18. Also the rim, and the bowls, and the flesh-hooks, and all the bronze vessels, which they ministered with;

19. మరియు పళ్లెములను ధూపార్తులను గిన్నెలను పాత్రలను, బంగారు వాటిని బంగారునకును వెండివాటిని వెండికిని చేర్చుకొని రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతి గొనిపోయెను.

19. and the basins, and the snuffers, and the oil-funnels, and the lampstands, and the censers, and the cups, and whatever [was] solid gold, and the silver, and whatever [was] of solid silver, the captain of the guard took away.

20. రాజైన సొలొమోను యెహోవా మందిరమునకు చేయించిన రెండు స్తంభములను సముద్రమును మట్లక్రిందనుండిన పండ్రెండు ఇత్తడి వృషభములను గొనిపోయెను. వీటి కన్నిటికున్న ఇత్తడి యెత్తువేయుటకు అసాధ్యము.

20. And the two pillars, and the one sea, and the twelve bronze oxen under the sea, which [things] King Solomon made for the house of the Lord; the brass of which was without weight.

21. వాటిలో ఒక్కొక్క స్తంభము పదునెనిమిది మూరల యెత్తుగలది, పండ్రెండు మూరల నూలు దాని చుట్టు తిరుగును, దాని దళసరి నాలుగు వ్రేళ్లు; అది గుల్లది.

21. And as for the pillars, the height of one pillar was thirty-five cubits; and a line of twelve cubits compassed it round; and the thickness of it [all] round was four fingers.

22. దానిమీద ఇత్తడి పైపీట యుండెను; ఒక్క పైపీట అయి దేసి మూరల ఎత్తుగలది, పైపీటకు చుట్టు అల్లిన వల అల్లి కయు దానిమ్మ పండ్లును ఉండెను; అవి యన్నియు ఇత్త డివి. ఈ స్తంభమునకును ఆ స్తంభమునకును ఆలాగుననే దానిమ్మ పండ్లుండెను.

22. And [there was] a bronze chapiter upon them, and the length was five cubits, [even] the height of one chapiter; and [there was] on the chapiter round about network and pomegranates, all of brass. And correspondingly the second pillar [had] eight pomegranates to a cubit for the twelve cubits.

23. ప్రక్కలయందు తొంబదియారు దానిమ్మపండ్లుండెను; చుట్టు ఉండిన వల అల్లికమీద దానిమ్మపండ్లన్నియు నూరు.

23. And the pomegranates were ninety-six on a side; and all the pomegranates on the network round about were a hundred.

24. మరియు రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతి ప్రధానయాజకుడైన శెరాయాను రెండవ యాజకుడైన జెఫన్యాను ముగ్గురు ద్వారపాలకులను పట్టు కొనెను.

24. And the captain of the guard took the chief priest, and the second priest, and those that kept the way;

25. అతడు పట్టణములోనుండి యోధులమీద నియ మింపబడిన యొక ఉద్యోగస్ధుని, పట్టణములో దొరికిన రాజసన్నిధిలో నిలుచు ఏడుగురు మనుష్యులను, దేశ సైన్యాధిపతియగు వానియొక్క లేఖరిని, పట్టణపు మధ్యను దొరికిన అరువదిమంది దేశప్రజలను పట్టుకొనెను.

25. and one eunuch, who was over the men of war, and seven men of renown, who were in the king's presence that were found in the city; and the scribe of the forces, who did the part of a scribe to the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land, who were found in the midst of the city.

26. రాజ దేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియైన నెబూజరదాను వీరిని పట్టు కొని రిబ్లాలో నుండిన బబులోనురాజు నొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చెను.

26. And Nabuzaradan the captain of the king's guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.

27. బబులోనురాజు హమాతుదేశమందలి రిబ్లాలో వారిని కొట్టించి చంపించి యూదా వారిని తమ దేశములో నుండి చెరగొనిపోయెను.

27. And the king of Babylon struck them in Riblah, in the land of Hamath.

28. నెబుకద్రెజరు తన యేలుబడి యందు ఏడవ సంవత్సరమున మూడువేల ఇరువది ముగ్గురు యూదులను చెరగొనిపోయెను

31. యూదారాజైన యెహోయాకీను చెరపట్టబడిన ముప్పది యేడవ సంవత్సరమున పండ్రెండవ నెల యిరువదియైదవ దినమున బబులోనురాజైన ఎవీల్మెరోదకు తన యేలుబడి యందు మొదటి సంవత్సరమున యూదారాజైన యెహో యాకీనునకు దయచూపి, బందీగృహములోనుండి అతని తెప్పించి

31. And it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year after that Jehoiakim king of Judah had been carried away captive, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fourth [day] of the month, [that] Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the year in which he began to reign, raised the head of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and shaved him, and brought him out of the house where he was kept,

32. అతనితో దయగా మాటలాడి అతనితోకూడ బబులోనులోనుండు రాజుల సింహాసనముకంటె ఎత్తయిన సింహాసనము అతనికి నియమించెను.

32. and spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the kings that were with him in Babylon,

33. and changed his prison garments. And he ate bread continually before him all the days that he lived.

34. And his appointed portion was given him continually by the king of Babylon from day to day, until the day that he died.
