1. యెహోవాయొద్దనుండి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన వాక్కు

1. The LORD told me to stand by the gate of the temple and to tell the people who were going in that the LORD All-Powerful, the God of Israel, had said: Pay attention, people of Judah! Change your ways and start living right, then I will let you keep on living in your own country.

2. నీవు యెహోవా మందిర ద్వారమున నిలువ బడి ఈ మాట అచ్చటనే ప్రకటింపుము యెహోవాకు నమస్కారముచేయుటకై యీ ద్వారములలో బడి ప్రవేశించు యూదావారలారా, యెహోవా మాట వినుడి.

3. సైన్యములకధిపతియు ఇశ్రాయేలుయొక్క దేవుడునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను ఈ స్థలమున మిమ్మును నివసింపజేయునట్లు మీ మార్గములను మీ క్రియలను దిద్దుకొనుడి

4. ఈ స్థలము యెహోవా ఆలయము, ఈ స్థలము యెహోవా ఆలయము, ఈ స్థలము యెహోవా ఆలయము అని మీరు చెప్పుకొనుచున్నారే; యీ మోసకరమైన మాటలు ఆధారము చేసికొనకుడి.

4. Don't fool yourselves! My temple is here in Jerusalem, but that doesn't mean I will protect you.

5. ఆలాగనక, మీ మార్గములను మీ క్రియలను మీరు యథార్థముగా చక్కపరచుకొని, ప్రతివాడు తన పొరుగు వానియెడల తప్పక న్యాయము జరిగించి.

5. I will keep you safe only if you change your ways. Be fair and honest with each other.

6. పరదేశులను తండ్రిలేని వారిని విధవరాండ్రను బాధింపకయు ఈ చోట నిర్దోషిరక్తము చిందింపకయు, మీకు కీడు కలుగజేయు అన్యదేవతలను అనుసరింపకయు నుండినయెడల

6. Stop taking advantage of foreigners, orphans, and widows. Don't kill innocent people. And stop worshiping other gods.

7. ఈ స్థలమున తమకు నిత్యముగా నుండుటకై పూర్వకాలమున నేను మీ పితరులకిచ్చిన దేశమున మిమ్మును కాపురముంచుదును.

7. Then I will let you enjoy a long life in this land I gave your ancestors.

8. ఇదిగో అబద్ధపుమాటలను మీరు నమ్ముకొను చున్నారు. అవి మీకు నిష్‌ప్రయోజనములు.

8. But just look at what is happening! You put your trust in worthless lies.

9. ఇదేమి? మీరు జారచోర క్రియలను నరహత్యను చేయుచు

9. You steal and murder; you lie in court and are unfaithful in marriage. You worship idols and offer incense to Baal, when these gods have never done anything for you.

10. అబద్ధసాక్ష్యము పలుకుచు బయలునకు ధూపమువేయుచు మీరెరుగని దేవతలను అనుసరించుచున్నారే; అయినను నా నామము పెట్టబడిన యీ మందిరములోనికి వచ్చి నా సన్నిధిని నిలుచుచు విడుదలనొందియున్నామని మీరు చెప్పుదురు; ఈ హేయక్రియలన్నియు జరిగించుటకేనా మీరు విడుదలనొందితిరి?

10. And then you come into my temple and worship me! Do you think I will protect you so that you can go on sinning?

11. నాదని చాటబడిన యీ మంది రము మీ దృష్టికి దొంగలగుహయైనదా? ఆలోచించుడి, నేనే యీ సంగతి కనుగొనుచున్నాను. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

11. You are thieves, and you have made my temple your hideout. But I've seen everything you have done.

12. పూర్వమున నేను నా నామము నిలిపిన షిలోహునందున్న నా స్థలమునకు పోయి విచారణ చేయుడి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులైన నా జనుల దుష్టత్వమును బట్టి నేను దానికి చేసిన కార్యము చూడుడి; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

12. Go to Shiloh, where my sacred tent once stood. Take a look at what I did there. My people Israel sinned, and so I destroyed Shiloh!

13. నేను మీతో మాటలాడినను పెందలకడ లేచి మీతో మాటలాడినను మీరు వినకయు, మిమ్మును పిలిచినను మీరు ఉత్తరమియ్యకయు నుండినవారై యీ క్రియలన్నిటిని చేసితిరి గనుక

13. While you have been sinning, I have been trying to talk to you, but you refuse to listen.

14. నేను షిలోహునకు చేసినట్లు మీకు ఆశ్రయమై నా నామముపెట్టబడిన యీ మందిరమునకును మీకును మీ తండ్రులకును నేనిచ్చిన స్థలమునకును నేను ఆలాగే చేయుదును.

14. Don't think this temple will protect you. Long ago I told your ancestors to build it and worship me here, but now I have decided to tear it down, just as I destroyed Shiloh.

15. ఎఫ్రాయిము సంతానమగు మీ సహోదరులనందరిని నేను వెళ్లగొట్టినట్లు మిమ్మును నా సన్నిధినుండి వెళ్లగొట్టుదును.

15. And as for you, people of Judah, I'm going to send you away from my land, just as I sent away the people of Ephraim and the other northern tribes.

16. కాబట్టి నీవు ఈ జనము కొరకు ప్రార్థనచేయకుము, వారికొరకు మొఱ్ఱ నైనను ప్రార్థననైనను చేయకుము, నన్ను బతిమాలుకొనకుము, నేను నీ మాట వినను.

16. Jeremiah, don't pray for these people! I, the LORD, would refuse to listen.

17. యూదాపట్టణములలోను యెరూషలేము వీధులలోను వారు చేయుచున్న క్రియలను నీవు చూచుచున్నావు గదా.

17. Do you see what the people of Judah are doing in their towns and in the streets of Jerusalem?

18. నాకు కోపము పుట్టించునట్లు ఆకాశరాణి దేవతకు పిండివంటలు చేయవలెననియు, అన్య దేవతలకు పానార్పణములు పోయవలెననియు పిల్లలు కట్టెలు ఏరుచున్నారు తండ్రులు అగ్ని రాజ బెట్టుచున్నారు స్త్రీలు పిండి పిసుకుచున్నారు.

18. Children gather firewood, their fathers build fires, and their mothers mix dough to bake bread for the goddess they call the Queen of Heaven. They even offer wine sacrifices to other gods, just to insult me.

19. నాకే కోపము పుట్టించునంతగా వారు దాని చేయుచున్నారా? తమకే అవమానము కలుగు నంతగా చేయుచున్నారు గదా, యిదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

19. But they are not only insulting me; they are also insulting themselves by doing these shameful things.

20. అందువలన ప్రభువగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఈ స్థలముమీదను నరులమీదను జంతువులమీదను పొలముల చెట్లమీదను భూమిపంట మీదను నా కోపమును నా ఉగ్రతను కుమ్మరించెదను, ఆర్పశక్యము కాకుండ అది మండును.

20. And now, I, the LORD All-Powerful, will flood Judah with my fiery anger until nothing is left--no people or animals, no trees or crops.

21. సైన్యములకధిపతియు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీ దహన బలులను మీ బలులను కలిపి మాంసము భక్షించుడి.

21. The LORD told me to say to the people of Judah: I am the LORD All-Powerful, the God of Israel, but I won't accept sacrifices from you. So don't even bother bringing them to me. You might as well just cook the meat for yourselves.

22. నేను ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి మీ పితరులను రప్పించిన దినమున దహనబలులనుగూర్చిగాని బలులనుగూర్చిగాని నేను వారితో చెప్పలేదు, అట్టి వాటినిగూర్చి నేను ఏ ఆజ్ఞయు ఇయ్యలేదు, ఈ ఆజ్ఞను మాత్రమే నేను వానికిచ్చి తిని

22. At the time I brought your ancestors out of Egypt, I didn't command them to offer sacrifices to me.

23. ఏదనగానా మాటలు మీరు అంగీకరించినయెడల నేను మీకు దేవుడనై యుందును మీరు నాకు జనులై యుందురు; మీకు క్షేమము కలుగునట్లు నేను మీకాజ్ఞా పించుచున్న మార్గమంతటియందు మీరు నడుచుకొనుడి.

23. Instead, I told them, 'If you listen to me and do what I tell you, I will be your God, you will be my people, and all will go well for you.'

24. అయితే వారు వినకపోయిరి, చెవియొగ్గకుండిరి, ముందుకు సాగక వెనుకదీయుచు తమ ఆలోచనలనుబట్టి తమ దుష్ట హృదయకాఠిన్యము ననుసరించి నడుచుచు వచ్చిరి.

24. But your ancestors refused to listen. They were stubborn, and whenever I wanted them to go one way, they always went the other.

25. మీ పితరులు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చిన దినము మొదలుకొని నేటివరకు మీరు వెనుకదీయుచు వచ్చిన వారే; నేను అనుదినము పెందలకడ లేచి ప్రవక్తలైన నా సేవకులనందరిని మీ యొద్దకు పంపుచు వచ్చితిని.

25. Ever since your ancestors left Egypt, I have been sending my servants the prophets to speak for me.

26. వారు నా మాట వినకయున్నారు చెవియొగ్గకయున్నారు తమ మెడను వంచక మనస్సును కఠినపరచుకొనుచున్నారు; వారు తమ పితరులకంటె మరి దుష్టులైరి.

26. But you have ignored me and become even more stubborn and sinful than your ancestors ever were!

27. నీవు ఈ మాటలన్నియు వారితో చెప్పినను వారు నీ మాటలంగీకరింపరు, నీవు వారిని పిలిచినను వారు నీకుత్తరమియ్యరు

27. Jeremiah, no matter what you do, the people won't listen.

28. గనుక నీవు వారితో ఈలాగు చెప్పుము - వీరు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాట విననివారు, శిక్షకు లోబడనొల్లనివారు, కాబట్టి నమ్మకము వారిలోనుండి తొలగిపోయియున్నది, అది వారి నోట నుండకుండ కొట్టి వేయబడియున్నది.

28. So you must say to them: People of Judah, I am the LORD your God, but you have refused to obey me, and you didn't change when I punished you. And now, you no longer even pretend to be faithful to me.

29. తనకు కోపము తెప్పించు తరమువారిని యెహోవా విసర్జించి వెళ్లగొట్టుచున్నాడు; సీయోనూ నీ తలవెండ్రు కలను కత్తిరించుకొనుము, వాటిని పారవేయుము, చెట్లులేని మెట్టలమీద ప్రలాపవాక్య మెత్తుము.

29. Shave your head bald and throw away the hair. Sing a funeral song on top of a barren hill. You people have made me angry, and I have abandoned you.

30. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుయూదా వారు నా దృష్టికి చెడ్డక్రియలు చేయుచున్నారు, నా నామముపెట్టబడిన మందిరము అపవిత్రపడునట్లు వారు దానిలో హేయ వస్తువులను ఉంచియున్నారు.

30. You have disobeyed me by putting your disgusting idols in my temple, and now the temple itself is disgusting to me.

31. నేనాజ్ఞాపించని క్రియను నాకు తోచని క్రియను వారు చేసియున్నారు, అగ్నిలో తమ కుమారులను తమ కుమార్తెలను దహించుటకు బెన్‌ హిన్నోము లోయలోనున్న తోఫెతునందు బలిపీఠములను కట్టుకొనియున్నారు.

31. At Topheth in Hinnom Valley you have built altars where you kill your children and burn them as sacrifices to other gods. I would never think of telling you to do this.

32. కాలము సమీపించుచున్నది; అప్పుడు అది తోఫెతు అనియైనను బెన్‌హిన్నోము లోయ అనియైనను అనబడక వధలోయ అనబడును; పాతిపెట్టు టకు స్థలము లేకపోవువరకు తోఫెతులో శవములు పాతి పెట్టబడును; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

32. So watch out! Someday that place will no longer be called Topheth or Hinnom Valley. It will be called Slaughter Valley, because you will bury your dead there until you run out of room,

33. ఈ జనుల శవములు ఆకాశపక్షులకును భూజంతువులకును ఆహారమగును, వాటిని తోలివేయువాడు లేకపోవును.

33. and then bodies will lie scattered on the ground. Birds and wild animals will come and eat, and no one will be around to scare them off.

34. ఉల్లాస ధ్వనియు ఆనందధ్వనియు పెండ్లికుమారుని స్వరమును పెండ్లికుమార్తె స్వరమును యూదా పట్టణములలోను యెరూషలేము వీధులలోను లేకుండచేసెదను; ఈ దేశము తప్పక పాడైపోవును.

34. When I am finished with your land, there will be deathly silence in the empty ruins of Jerusalem and the towns of Judah--no happy voices, no sounds of parties or wedding celebrations.
