1. And the Word of Jehovah was to me, saying,

2. నరపుత్రుడా, ప్రవచించుచున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రవక్తలకు విరోధముగా ప్రవచించి, మనస్సు వచ్చినట్లు ప్రవచించువారితో నీవీలాగు చెప్పుము యెహోవా మాట ఆలకించుడి.

2. Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy. And say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear the Word of Jehovah:

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా దర్శనమేమియు కలుగకున్నను స్వబుద్ధి ననుసరించు అవివేక ప్రవక్తలకు శ్రమ.

3. So says the Lord Jehovah, Woe to the foolish prophets who walk after their own spirit and have seen nothing!

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీ ప్రవక్తలు పాడైన స్థలములలో నుండు నక్కలతో సాటిగా ఉన్నారు.

4. O Israel, your prophets are like foxes in the deserts.

5. యెహోవా దినమున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యుద్ధమందు స్థిరముగా నిలుచు నట్లు మీరు గోడలలోనున్న బీటల దగ్గర నిలువరు, ప్రాకారమును దిట్టపరచరు.

5. You have not gone up into the breaks, nor built a wall around the house of Israel, that it might stand in the battle, in the day of Jehovah.

6. వారు వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు చూచి, అబద్ధపు సోదె చూచి యెహోవా తమ్మును పంపక పోయినను, తాము చెప్పినమాట స్థిరమని నమ్మునట్లు ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు అని చెప్పుదురు.

6. They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, Jehovah declares! And Jehovah has not sent them, but they hoped to lift their word.

7. నేను సెలవియ్యకపోయినను ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు అని మీరు చెప్పిన యెడల మీరు కనినది వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనముగదా? మీరు నమ్మదగని సోదెగాండ్రయితిరి గదా?

7. Did you not see a vain vision and speak a lying divination? Yet you say, Jehovah declares, though I have not spoken.

8. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీరు వ్యర్థమైన మాటలు పలుకుచు నిరర్థకమైన దర్శనములు కనుచున్నారు గనుక నేను మీకు విరోధిని; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

8. So the Lord Jehovah says this: Because you have spoken vanity and have seen a lie, therefore, behold, I am against you, declares the Lord Jehovah.

9. వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు, నమ్మదగని సోదెగాండ్రయిన ప్రవక్తలకు నేను పగవాడను, వారు నా జనుల సభలోనికి రారు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సంఖ్యలో చేరినవారు కాక పోదురు, వారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేశములోనికి తిరిగి రారు, అప్పుడు నేను ప్రభువైన యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

9. And My hand shall be against the prophets who see vanity, and who divine a lie. They shall not be in the assembly of My people, and they shall not be written in the writing of the house of Israel, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.

10. సమాధానమేమియు లేకపోయినను వారు సమాధానమని చెప్పి నా జనులను మోసపుచ్చు చున్నారు; నా జనులు మంటిగోడను కట్టగా వారు వచ్చి దానిమీద గచ్చుపూత పూసెదరు.

10. Because, even because they made My people go astray, saying, Peace! and there was no peace. And he builds a wall, and, behold, others daubed it with lime.

11. ఇందువలననే పూయుచున్న వారితో నీ విట్లనుము వర్షము ప్రవాహముగా కురియును, గొప్ప వడగండ్లు పడును, తుపాను దాని పడగొట్టగా అది పడిపోవును.

11. Say to those daubing with lime, Yea, it will fall. There will be a flooding rain; and you, O hailstones, shall fall, and a tempestuous wind shall break.

12. ఆ గోడ పడగా జనులు మిమ్మును చూచి మీరు పూసిన పూత యేమాయెనని అడుగుదురు గదా?

12. And, behold, when the wall has fallen, it shall not be said to you, Where is the daubing with which you have daubed?

13. ఇందుకు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను రౌద్రము తెచ్చుకొని తుపానుచేత దానిని పడగొట్టుదును, నా కోపమునుబట్టి వర్షము ప్రవాహముగా కురియును, నా రౌద్రమునుబట్టి గొప్ప వడగండ్లు పడి దానిని లయపరచును,

13. So the Lord Jehovah says this: I will even break in My fury with a tempestuous wind. And there shall be a flooding rain in My anger, and hailstones in fury, to consume it.

14. దాని పునాది కనబడునట్లు మీరు గచ్చుపూత పూసిన గోడను నేను నేలతో సమముగా కూల్చెదను, అది పడిపోగా దానిక్రింద మీరును నాశనమగుదురు, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

14. And I will break down the wall that you have daubed with lime and bring it down to the ground; yea, I will bare its base. And it shall fall, and you will be consumed in its midst. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

15. ఈలాగున ఆ గోడమీదను దానిమీద గచ్చుపూత పూసినవారిమీదను నా కోపము నేను తీర్చుకొని, ఆ గోడకును దానికి పూత పూసినవారికిని పని తీరెనని మీతో చెప్పుదును.

15. And I will complete My wrath in the wall, and in those who daubed it with lime. And I will say to you, The wall is not; and, Those who daubed are not.

16. యెరూషలేమునకు సమాధానము లేకపోయినను ఆ పూత పూయువారు సమాధానార్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు ప్రవచించువారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రవక్తలే; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

16. The prophets of Israel who are prophesying concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, even there is no peace, declares the Lord Jehovah.

17. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా, మనస్సునకు వచ్చినట్టు ప్రవచించు నీ జనుల కుమార్తెలమీద కఠినదృష్టియుంచి వారికి విరోధముగా ఈలాగు ప్రవచింపుము

17. And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their heart, and prophesy against them,

18. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మనుష్యులను వేటాడ వలెనని చేతుల కీళ్లన్నిటికిని గుడ్డలుకుట్టి, యెవరి యెత్తు చొప్పున వారి తలలకు ముసుకులుచేయు స్త్రీలారా, మీకు శ్రమ; మీరు నా జనులను వేటాడి మిమ్మును రక్షించుకొందురు.

18. and say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Woe to those sewing amulets to all joints of my hands, and make long veils for the head of every man of stature, to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of My people, and will you save alive the souls for yourselves?

19. అబద్ధపు మాటల నంగీకరించు నా జనులతో అబద్ధఫు మాటలు చెప్పుచు, చేరెడు యవలకును రొట్టెముక్కలకును ఆశపడి మరణమునకు పాత్రులు కాని వారిని చంపుచు, బ్రదుకుటకు అపాత్రులైన వారిని బ్రదికించుచు నా జనులలో మీరు నన్ను దూషించెదరు.

19. And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley, and for bits of bread, to cause to die the souls that should not die, and to save alive the souls that should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies?

20. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు నేను దుఃఖపరచని నీతిమంతుని మనస్సును అబద్ధములచేత మీరు దుఃఖింపజేయుదురు, దుర్మార్గులు తమ దుష్‌ప్రవర్తన విడిచి తమ ప్రాణములను రక్షించుకొనకుండ మీరు వారిని ధైర్యపరతురు గనుక

20. So the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, I am against your amulets with which you are hunting the souls there, to make them fly. And I will tear them from your arms, and will send out the souls, souls which you are hunting, to make them fly.

21. మనుష్యులను వేటాడుటకై మీరు కుట్టు గుడ్డలకు నేను విరోధినై వారిని విడిపించెదను, మీ కౌగిటిలోనుండి వారిని ఊడ బెరికి, మీరు వేటాడు మనుష్యులను నేను విడిపించి తప్పించుకొననిచ్చెదను.

21. Also I will tear your long veils and deliver My people out of your hand. And they shall not again be in your hand to be hunted. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

22. మరియు నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు మీరు వేసిన ముసుకులను నేను చింపి మీ చేతిలోనుండి నా జనులను విడిపించెదను, వేటాడుటకు వారికను మీ వశమున ఉండరు.

22. Because you have saddened the heart of the righteous with lies, and I have not pained him, and you have made the hands of the wicked strong, so that he should not turn from his evil way, to keep him alive.

23. మీరికను వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనకయుందురు, సోదె చెప్పక యుందురు; నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నా జనులను మీ వశమునుండి విడిపించెదను.

23. So you shall not see vanity, and you shall not divine any divination. And I will deliver My people out of your hand. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.
