1. ఏడవ సంవత్సరము అయిదవ నెల పదియవ దినమున ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలలో కొందరు యెహోవా యొద్ద విచారణచేయుటకై నా యొద్దకు వచ్చి నా యెదుట కూర్చుండియుండగా

1. In the seuenth yere the tenth day of the fift moneth, certayne of the elders of Israel came for to aske counsayle at the Lorde, and sate downe before me.

2. యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

2. Then came the worde of the Lorde vnto me, saying:

3. నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలతో ఇట్లనుము ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నా యొద్ద విచారణ చేయుటకు మీరు వచ్చుచున్నారే. నా జీవముతోడు నావలన ఏ ఆలోచనయైనను మీకు దొరకదు; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

3. Thou sonne of man, speake vnto the elders of Israel, and say vnto them, thus saith the Lorde God, Are ye come to enquire of me? As truely as I liue I wyll not be sought of you, saith the Lorde God.

4. వారికి న్యాయము తీర్చుదువా? నరపుత్రుడా, వారికి న్యాయము తీర్చుదువా? వారి పితరులు చేసిన హేయకృత్యములను వారికి తెలియ జేయుము.

4. Wylt thou not iudge them sonne of man, wylt thou not iudge [them?] cause them to vnderstande the abhominations of their fathers.

5. ఎట్లనగా ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను ఇశ్రాయేలును ఏర్పరచుకొనిన నాడును, యాకోబు సంతతికి ప్రమాణముచేసిన నాడును, ఐగుప్తుదేశమందు నన్ను వారికి ప్రత్యక్ష పరచుకొని ప్రమాణముచేసి నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవానని నేను ప్రకటించిన కాలమున

5. And tell them, thus saith the Lorde God, In the day when I chose Israel, and lift vp mine hande vpon the seede of the house of Iacob, and was knowen vnto them in the lande of Egypt, yea when I lift vp mine hande ouer them, and sayde, I am the Lorde your God:

6. వారిని ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి రప్పించి వారికొరకు నేను విచారించినదియు, పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించునదియు, సకల దేశములకు ఆభరణమైనదియునైన దేశములోనికి తోడుకొని పోయెదనని చెప్పిన కాలముననే నేను ప్రమాణము చేసితిని.

6. Euen in the day that I lift vp mine hande vnto them, to bryng them out of the lande of Egypt into a lande that I had prouided for them, which floweth with mylke and hony, and is pleasaunt among all other landes:

7. అప్పుడు నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను, మీలో ప్రతివాడు తన కిష్టమైన హేయకృత్యములను విడిచిపెట్టవలెను, ఐగుప్తీయుల విగ్రహములను పూజించుటచేత మిమ్మును మీరు అపవిత్రపరచు కొనకుండవలెను అని నేను ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని.

7. The said I vnto them, Cast away euery man the abhominations of his eyes, & defile not your selues with the idols of Egypt: for I am the Lorde your God.

8. అయితే వారు నా మాట విననొల్లక నామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేసి, తమకిష్టమైన హేయకృత్యములు చేయుట మాన లేదు, ఐగుప్తీయుల విగ్రహములను పూజించుట మానలేదు గనుక వారు ఐగుప్తీయుల దేశములో ఉండగానే నేను నా రౌద్రము వారిమీద కుమ్మరించి నా కోపము వారి మీద తీర్చుకొందునని యనుకొంటిని.

8. But they rebelled against me, and woulde not hearken vnto me, they dyd not cast away euery man the abhominations of his eyes, neither dyd they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said I woulde powre out mine indignation ouer them, and accomplishe my wrath vpon them, yea euen in the middest of the lande of Egypt.

9. అయితే ఏ అన్య జనులయెదుట నన్ను నేను బయలు పరచుకొంటినో, యే అన్యజనులమధ్య వారుండిరో ఆ అన్యజనులలో వారున్న అన్యజనుల యెదుట వారికి నన్ను బయలుపరచుకొంటిని, నా నామమునకు దూషణ కలుగకుండుటకై ఆలాగు చేయుటమాని, ఆ జనులు చూచుచుండగా నా నామ ఘనతకొరకు నేను వారిని ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి రప్పించి తిని.

9. And I wrought for my names sake that it shoulde not be polluted before the heathen among whom they were, to whom I was manifestly knowen, in bryngyng them foorth of the lande of Egypt.

10. వారిని ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి రప్పించి అరణ్యము లోనికి తోడుకొని వచ్చి

10. Nowe when I had caused them to go out of the lande of Egypt, and brought them into the wildernesse:

11. వారికి నా కట్టడలను నియమించి నా విధులను వారికి తెలియజేసితిని. ఎవడైన వాటి ననుసరించినయెడల వాటినిబట్టి బ్రదుకును.

11. I gaue them my statutes, and shewed them my iudgementes: which whoso doeth, shall lyue in them.

12. మరియు యెహోవానగు నేనే వారిని పవిత్రపరచువాడనని వారు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నాకును వారికిని మధ్య విశ్రాంతి దినము లను వారికి సూచనగా నేను నియమించితిని.

12. I gaue them also my Sabbath dayes to be a token betwixt me and them, and therby to knowe that I am the Lorde which halowe them.

13. అయితే అరణ్యమందు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేసి నా కట్టడల ననుసరింపక, తాము అనుసరించి బ్రదుకవలెనని నేనిచ్చిన విధులను తృణీకరించి, నేను నియమించిన విశ్రాంతిదినములను అపవిత్రపరచగా, అరణ్య మందు నా రౌద్రాగ్ని వారిమీద కుమ్మరించి వారిని నిర్మూ లము చేయుదునను కొంటిని.

13. And yet the house of Israel rebelled agaynst me in the wildernesse, they woulde not walke in my statutes, they haue cast away my iudgementes, which whoso doth shall lyue in them, and my Sabbath dayes haue they greatly polluted: then I sayde, I woulde powre out mine indignation vpon them, and consume them in the wildernesse.

14. అయితే నేను వారిని రప్పింపగా ఏ అన్య జనులు చూచిరో యే అన్యజనులలో నుండి నేను వారిని రప్పించితినో వారి యెదుట నా నామ మునకు దూషణ కలుగకుండునట్లు నేననుకొనిన ప్రకారము చేయక మానితిని.

14. And I wrought for my names sake, lest it shoulde be defiled before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

15. మరియు తమకిష్టమైన విగ్రహముల ననుసరింపవలెనని కోరి, వారు నా విధులను తృణీకరించి నా కట్టడల ననుసరింపక నేను నియమించిన విశ్రాంతి దినములను అపవిత్రపరచగా

15. Yet neuerthelesse I lift vp my hande vnto them in the wildernesse, that I woulde not bring them into the lande which I gaue them, that floweth with mylke and hony, and is a pleasure of all landes:

16. ఇచ్చెదనని నేను సెలవిచ్చి నట్టియు, పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించునట్టియునైన సకల దేశములకు ఆభరణమగు దేశములోనికి వారిని రప్పింపనని వారు అరణ్యములో ఉండగానే నేను ప్రమాణము చేసితిని.

16. And that because they cast away my iudgementes and walked not in my statutes: but haue defiled my Sabbathes: for their heart was gone after their idols.

17. అయినను వారు నశించి పోకుండునట్లు వారియందు కనికరించి, అరణ్యములో నేను వారిని నిర్మూలము చేయక పోతిని.

17. Neuerthelesse mine eye spared them, so that I woulde not destroy them, nor consume them in the wildernesse.

18. వారు అరణ్యములో ఉండగానే వారి పిల్లలతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చితినిమీరు మీ తండ్రుల ఆచారము లను అనుసరింపకయు, వారి పద్ధతులనుబట్టి ప్రవర్తింప కయు, వారు పెట్టుకొనిన దేవతలను పూజించి మిమ్మును మీరు అపవిత్రపరచుకొనకయు నుండుడి.

18. Moreouer, I sayde vnto their sonnes in the wildernesse, Walke not in the statutes of your fathers, kepe not their iudgementes, and defile not your selues with their idols.

19. మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను నేనే గనుక నా కట్టడల ననుసరించి నా విధులను గైకొని నేను నియమించిన విశ్రాంతిదినములను ఆచరించుడి.

19. I am the Lord your God, walke in my statutes, kepe my iudgementes, & do the.

20. నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవా నని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు ఆ విశ్రాంతిదినములు నాకును మీకును మధ్యను సూచనగా ఉండును.

20. Halowe my Sabbathes, for they are a token betwixt me and you: that ye may knowe howe that I am the Lord your God.

21. అయినను ఆ జనులు సహా నా మీద తిరుగబడి, తామనుసరించి బ్రదుకవలెనని నేనిచ్చిన నా కట్టడలను అనుసరింపకయు, నా విధులను గైకొనకయు, నేను నియమించిన విశ్రాంతి దినములను అపవిత్రపరచిరి గనుక, వారు అరణ్యములో ఉండగానే నేను నా రౌద్రాగ్ని వారిమీద కుమ్మరించి నా కోపము వారిమీద తీర్చుకొందునని యనుకొంటిని.

21. Notwithstandyng, their sonnes rebelled agaynst me also, they walked not in my statutes, they kept not my iudgementes to fulfyll them, which he that doth shall liue in them, they prophaned my Sabbath dayes: and I sayde, I woulde powre out mine indignation ouer them, and accomplishe my wrath vpon them in the wildernesse.

22. అయితే నేను ప్రత్యక్షమైన అన్యజనుల మధ్య నా నామమునకు దూషణ కలుగకుండునట్లు ఏ జనులలోనుండి వారిని రప్పించితినో ఆ జనులు చూచుచుండగా నా హస్తము వెనుకకు తీసి నా వాగ్దానము నెరవేర్చితిని.

22. Neuerthelesse, I withdrewe my hand and wrought for my names sake, lest it shoulde be defiled in the sight of the heathen, before whom I had brought them foorth.

23. మరియు వారు నా విధుల ననుసరింపక నా కట్టడలను తృణీకరించి, నేను విధించిన విశ్రాంతిదినములను అపవిత్ర పరచి,

23. I lift vp my hande to them also in the wildernesse, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and strawe them among the nations:

24. తమ పితరులు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహములను పూజింప గోరగా, అన్యజనులలో వారిని చెదరగొట్టి సకలదేశముల లోనికి వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టుదునని ప్రమాణము చేసితిని.

24. Because they had not kept my iudgementes, but cast aside my statutes and broken my Sabbathes, and their eyes were after their fathers idols.

25. నేను యెహోవానని వారు తెలిసికొనునట్లు వారిని విస్మ యము నొందింపవలెనని అనుకూలము కాని కట్టడలను తాము బ్రదుకుటకు ప్రయోజనకరములు కాని విధులను వారికిచ్చితిని.

25. Wherfore I gaue them also statutes that were not good, and iudgementes wherin they shoulde not lyue.

26. తొలిచూలిని అగ్నిగుండము దాటించి బలి దానముల నిచ్చుటచేత తమ్మును తాము అపవిత్రపరచు కొననిచ్చితిని.

26. And I defiled them in their owne giftes, in that they caused all that openeth the wombe to passe, that I might destroy them, that they might knowe howe that I am the Lorde.

27. కాబట్టి నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో మాటలాడి ఇట్లు ప్రకటింపుము ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మీ పితరులు నాయెడల అతిక్రమముచేసి నన్ను దూషించి

27. Therfore speake vnto the house of Israel thou sonne of man, and thou shalt say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God: yet in this also your fathers haue blasphemed me, and greeuously transgressed agaynst me:

28. వారికిచ్చెదనని నేను ప్రమాణ పూర్వక ముగా చెప్పిన దేశములోనికి నేను వారిని రప్పించిన తరు వాత, ఎత్తయిన యొక కొండనేగాని, దట్టమైన యొక వృక్షమునేగాని తాము చూచినప్పుడెల్లను బలులు అర్పిం చుచు, అర్పణలను అర్పించుచు, అక్కడ పరిమళ ధూపము ప్రతిష్ఠించుచు, పానార్పణములు చేయుచు నాకు కోపము పుట్టించిరి.

28. For after I had brought them into the lande, for the which I lifted vp my hande to geue it vnto them, when they sawe euery hie hil, & all thicke trees, they offered there their sacrifices, & there they presented their offering of anger, there also they made their sweete sauours, and powred out their wine offerynges.

29. మీరు పోవుచున్న ఉన్నత స్థలములేమిటని నేనడిగితిని; కాబట్టి ఉన్నతస్థలమను పేరు నేటివరకు వాడుకలో నున్నది.

29. And I sayde vnto them, What is that hye place whervnto ye resort? and the name of it is called Bamah vnto this day.

30. కావున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుముప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చున దేమనగామీ పితరుల రీతిని మీరును అపవిత్రులైతిరే వారు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహములను అనుసరించుచు మీరును వ్యభిచారులైతిరే;

30. Wherfore speake vnto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lorde God, Are ye not defiled in the waies of your fathers, and commit ye not whoredome after their abhominations?

31. నేటివరకును మీరు అర్పణలను అర్పించి మీ కుమారులను అగ్నిగుండ దాటించునప్పుడు, మీరు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహములన్నిటికి పూజజేసి అపవిత్రులగు చున్నారే; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, నాయొద్ద మీరు విచారణ చేయుదురా? నా జీవముతోడు నావలన ఆలోచన మీకు దొరుకదు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు

31. For when ye offer your giftes, & make your sonnes to passe through the fire, you are polluted with all your idols vnto this day: shall I aunswere you when I am asked, O house of Israel? As I liue saith the Lorde God, I wyll not be sought of you.

32. అన్యజనులేమి భూమిమీది యే జనులేమి చేయునట్లు మేమును కొయ్యలకును రాళ్లకును పూజచేతుమని మీరనుకొనుచున్నారే. మీరు ఇచ్ఛయించినదాని ప్రకారమెన్నటికిని జరుగదు.

32. And [that which] commeth into your mynde shall not be at all, which you say, We wyll be as the gentiles, as the kinredes of countreis, to serue wood and stone.

33. నా జీవముతోడు నా రౌద్రము కుమ్మరించుచు, బాహుబలముతోను చాచిన చేతితోను నేను మీపైన అధికారము చేసెదను.
2 కోరింథీయులకు 6:17

33. As truely as I lyue saith the Lorde God, I my selfe wyll rule you with a mightie hande, with a stretched out arme, and with indignation powred out ouer you.

34. మరియు నేను రౌద్రము కుమ్మరించుచు, బాహుబలముతోను చాచిన చేతితోను మిమ్మును చెదరగొట్టిన ఆయా దేశములలోనుండియు జనులలోనుండియు నేను మిమ్మును సమ కూర్చి

34. And I wyll bryng you from the people, and gather you out of the countreis wherin ye are scattered, with a mightie hande, with a stretched out arme, and with indignation powred out.

35. జనములున్న అరణ్యములోనికి మిమ్మును రప్పించి, అక్కడ ముఖాముఖిగా మీతో వ్యాజ్యెమాడెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

35. And I wyll bryng you into the wildernesse of the people, & there I wyll be iudged with you face to face.

36. ఐగుప్తీయులదేశపు అరణ్యములో నేను మీ పితరులతో వ్యాజ్యెమాడినట్టు మీతోను వ్యాజ్యె మాడెదను; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

36. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wildernesse of Egypt: so wyll I pleade with you also, saith the Lorde God.

37. చేతి కఱ్ఱక్రింద మిమ్మును దాటించి నిబంధనకు లోపరచెదను.

37. I wyll cause you to passe vnder the rodde, and I wyll bryng you into the bonde of the couenaunt.

38. మరియు నామీద తిరుగబడువారిని దోషము చేయువారిని మీలో ఉండకుండ ప్రత్యేకించెదను, తాము కాపురమున్న దేశములోనుండి వారిని రప్పించెదను గాని నేను యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు వారు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశములో ప్రవేశించరు.

38. And I wyll purge out of you the rebelles, & them that transgresse against me, and bryng them out of the lande of their habitation: as for the lande of Israel they shall not come in it, that you may knowe howe that I am the Lord.

39. ఇశ్రాయేలు యింటివార లారా, మీరు నామాట వినని యెడల మీరు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహములను, మీ కిష్టమైనట్టుగా పూజించుకొనుడి, గాని మీ అర్పణలచేతను మీ విగ్రహములచేతను నా పరిశుద్ధనామమును అపవిత్రపరచకుడి అని ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

39. As for you O house of Israel, thus saith the Lorde God, Go you and serue euery man his idols, seyng that ye obey not me: and pollute no more my holy name with your giftes and your idols.

40. నిజముగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ఉన్నతమైన కొండయగు నా పరిశుద్ధ పర్వతమందు దేశములోనున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును నాకు సేవచేయుదురు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు. అచ్చటనే నేను వారిని అంగీకరించెదను. అచ్చటనే మీ ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన యర్పణలను, మీ ప్రథమ ఫలదానములను, ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు మీ కానుకలనన్నిటిని నేనంగీకరించెదను.

40. For vpon my holy hyll, euen vpon the hye hyll of Israel saith the Lord God, shall all the house of Israel, and all that is in the lande worship me: and in the same place wyll I fauour them, & there wyll I require your heaue offerynges, and the firstlinges of your oblations, with all your holy thinges.

41. జనములలోనుండి నేను మిమ్మును రప్పించునప్పుడును, మిమ్మును చెదరగొట్టిన ఆ యా దేశము లలోనుండి మిమ్మును సమకూర్చునప్పుడును, పరిమళధూపముగా మిమ్మును అంగీకరించెదను, అన్యజనులయెదుటను మీ మధ్యను నన్ను నేను పరిశుద్ధపరచుకొందును.

41. I wyll accept your sweete sauour, when I bryng you from the nations, & gather you together out of the landes wherin ye haue ben scattered, that I may be halowed in you before the heathen.

42. మీ పితరులకిచ్చెదనని నేను ప్రమాణ పూర్వకముగా చెప్పిన దేశమునకు, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేశమునకు నేను మిమ్మును రప్పించునప్పుడు నేనే యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

42. And ye shall knowe that I am the Lorde, when I shall bring you into the lande of Israel, into the lande for the which I lift vp my hande to geue it vnto your fathers.

43. అచ్చట చేరి మీ ప్రవర్తనను, మిమ్మును మీరు అపవిత్ర పరచుకొనిన మీ క్రియలన్నిటిని మనస్సు నకు తెచ్చుకొని, మీరు చేసిన దుష్‌క్రియలనుబట్టి మిమ్మును మీరే అసహ్యించుకొందురు.

43. There shall ye call to rembraunce your owne wayes, and all your workes wherin ye haue ben defiled, and ye shalbe cut of in your owne sight for all your wickednesse that ye haue done.

44. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీ దుర్మార్గతనుబట్టియు మీ కాని చేష్టలనుబట్టియు కాక నా నామమునుబట్టియే నేను మీ కీలాగున చేయగా నేనే యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

44. And ye shall knowe that I am the Lorde, when I deale with you for my names sake, and not after your wicked wayes, nor accordyng to your corrupt workes O ye house of Israel, saith the Lorde God.

45. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

45. Moreouer, the worde of the Lorde came vnto me, saying:

46. నరపుత్రుడా, నీ ముఖము దక్షిణపుతట్టు త్రిప్పుకొని దక్షిణదేశమునకు ప్రకటింపుము, దక్షిణదేశపు అరణ్య మునుగూర్చి ప్రవచించి ఇట్లనుము

46. Thou sonne of man, set thy face towarde the way of Themanah, and drop [thy worde] towarde the south, and prophecie towarde the forest of the south fielde.

47. దక్షిణదేశమా, యెహోవా మాట ఆలకించుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను నీలో అగ్ని రాజబెట్టెదను, అది నీలోనున్న పచ్చని చెట్లన్నిటిని ఎండిన చెట్లన్నిటిని దహించును, అది ఆరిపోకుండనుండును, దక్షిణదిక్కు మొదలుకొని ఉత్తరదిక్కువరకు భూముఖమంతయు దాని చేత కాల్చబడును.

47. And say to the forest of the south, Heare the worde of the Lord, thus saith the Lorde God, Beholde I wyll kindle a fire in thee, that shall consume all the greene trees, with all the dry: the continuall flambe shall not be quenched, and euery face from the south to the north shalbe burnt therin.

48. అది ఆరిపోకుండ యెహోవానైన నేను దానిని రాజబెట్టితినని సమస్తమైన జనులకు తెలియబడును.

48. And all fleshe shall see that I the Lorde haue kindled it, and it shall not be quenched.

49. అయ్యో ప్రభువా యెహోవా వీడు గూఢ మైన మాటలు పలుకువాడు కాడా అని వారు నన్ను గూర్చి చెప్పుదురని నేనంటిని.

49. Then sayde I, Ah Lorde God, they say of me, Doth not he speake parables?
