1. అప్పుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. The LORD spoke to me.

2. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేము తట్టు నీ ముఖము త్రిప్పుకొని, పరిశుద్ధ స్థలములనుబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులదేశమును గూర్చి ప్రవచించి ఇట్లనుము

2. 'Mortal man,' he said, 'denounce Jerusalem. Denounce the places where people worship. Warn the land of Israel

3. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నేను నీకు విరోధినై తిని. నీతిపరులనేమి దుష్టులనేమి నీలో ఎవరు నుండకుండ అందరిని నిర్మూలము చేయుటకై నా ఖడ్గము ఒరదూసి యున్నాను.

3. that I, the LORD, am saying: I am your enemy. I will draw my sword and kill all of you, good and evil alike.

4. నీతిపరులేమి దుష్టులేమి యెవరును మీలో ఉండకుండ దక్షిణదిక్కు మొదలుకొని ఉత్తరదిక్కువరకు అందరిని నిర్మూలము చేయుటకై నా ఖడ్గము దాని ఒరలో నుండి బయలుదేరియున్నది.

4. I will use my sword against everyone from south to north.

5. యెహోవానైన నేను నా ఖడ్గము మరల ఒరలోపడకుండ దాని దూసియున్నానని జనులందరు తెలిసికొందురు.

5. Everyone will know that I, the LORD, have drawn my sword and that I will not put it away.

6. కావున నరపుత్రుడా, నిట్టూర్పు విడువుము, వారు చూచుచుండగా నీ నడుము బద్దలగునట్లు మనోదుఃఖముతో నిట్టూర్పు విడువుము.

6. 'Mortal man, groan as if your heart is breaking with despair. Groan in sorrow where everyone can watch you.

7. నీవు నిట్టూర్పు విడిచెదవేమని వారు నిన్నడుగగా నీవుశ్రమదినము వచ్చుచున్నదను దుర్వార్త నాకు వినబడినది, అందరి గుండెలు కరిగిపోవును, అందరి చేతులు బల హీనమవును, అందరి మనస్సులు అధైర్యపడును, అందరి మోకాళ్లు నీరవును, ఇంతగా కీడు వచ్చుచున్నది; అది వచ్చేయున్నది అని చెప్పుము; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

7. When they ask you why you are groaning, tell them it is because of the news that is coming. When it comes, their hearts will be filled with fear, their hands will hang limp, their courage will fail, and their knees will tremble. The time has come; it is here.' The Sovereign LORD has spoken.

8. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

8. The LORD said to me,

9. నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు ఈ మాటలు ప్రకటనచేసి ఇట్లనుము యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా అదిగో ఖడ్గము ఖడ్గమే కనబడుచున్నది, అది పదునుగలదై మెరుగుపెట్టియున్నది.

9. 'Mortal man, prophesy. Tell the people what I, the Lord, am saying: A sword, a sword is sharpened and polished.

10. అది గొప్ప వధ చేయుటకై పదును పెట్టియున్నది, తళతళలాడునట్లు అది మెరుగుపెట్టియున్నది; ఇట్లుండగా నా కుమారుని దండము ఇతర దండములన్నిటిని తృణీకరించునది అని చెప్పి మనము సంతోషించెదమా?

10. It is sharpened to kill, polished to flash like lightning. There can be no rejoicing, for my people have disregarded every warning and punishment.

11. మరియు దూయుటకు సిద్ధమగునట్లు అది మెరుగుపెట్టువానియొద్ద నుంచ బడియుండెను, హతము చేయువాడు పట్టుకొనునట్లుగా అది పదునుగలదై మెరుగు పెట్టబడియున్నది.

11. The sword is being polished, to make it ready for use. It is sharpened and polished, to be put in the hands of a killer.

12. నరపుత్రుడా అంగలార్చుము, కేకలువేయుము, అది నా జనులమీదికిని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రధానులమీదికిని వచ్చుచున్నది, ఖడ్గభయము నా జనులకు తటస్థించినది గనుక నీ తొడను చరచుకొనుము.

12. Howl in grief, mortal man; this sword is meant for my people and for all the leaders of Israel. They are going to be killed with all the rest of my people. Beat your breast in despair!

13. శోధనకలిగెను, తృణీకరించు దండము రాకపోయిననేమి? ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

13. I am testing my people, and if they refuse to repent, all these things will happen to them.

14. నరపుత్రుడా, చేతులు చరచుకొనుచు సమాచారము ప్రవచింపుము, ఖడ్గము ముమ్మారు రెట్టింపబడినదై జనులను హతముచేయునదై యున్నది, అది గొప్పవాని అంతఃపురము చొచ్చి వాని హతము చేయునది.

14. 'Now, mortal man, prophesy. Clap your hands, and the sword will strike again and again. It is a sword that kills, a sword that terrifies and slaughters.

15. వారి గుండెలు కరిగిపోవునట్లును, పడద్రోయు అడ్డములు అధికములగునట్లును, వారి గుమ్మములలో నేను ఖడ్గము దూసెదను; అయ్యయ్యో అది తళతళలాడుచున్నది, హతము చేయుటకై అది దూయబడియున్నది.

15. It makes my people lose courage and stumble. I am threatening their city with a sword that flashes like lightning and is ready to kill.

16. ఖడ్గమా, సిద్ధపడియుండుము; కుడివైపు చూడుము, ఎడమవైపు తిరుగుము, ఎక్కడ నీకు పని యుండునో అక్కడికి తిరుగుము

16. Cut to the right and the left, you sharp sword! Cut wherever you turn.

17. నేనుకూడ నా చేతులు చరచుకొని నా క్రోధము తీర్చుకొందును; యెహోవా నగు నేనే మాట ఇచ్చి యున్నాను.

17. I also will clap my hands, and my anger will be over. I, the LORD, have spoken.'

18. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

18. The LORD spoke to me.

19. నరపుత్రుడా, బబులోను రాజు ఖడ్గమువచ్చుటకు రెండు మార్గములను ఏర్పరచుము. ఆరెండును ఒక దేశములోనుండి వచ్చునట్లు సూచించుటకై యొక హస్తరూపము గీయుము, పట్టణపు వీధి కొనను దాని గీయుము.

19. 'Mortal man,' he said, 'mark out two roads by which the king of Babylonia can come with his sword. Both of them are to start in the same country. Put up a signpost where the roads fork.

20. ఖడ్గమునకు అమ్మోనీయుల పట్టణమగు రబ్బాకు ఒక మార్గమును, యూదాదేశమందున్న ప్రాకారములు గల పట్టణమగు యెరూషలేమునకు ఒక మార్గమును ఏర్పరచుము.

20. One will show the king the way to the Ammonite city of Rabbah, and the other the way to Judah, to the fortified city, Jerusalem.

21. బాటలు చీలుచోట రెండు మార్గములు చీలు స్థలమున శకునము తెలిసికొనుటకు బబులోను రాజు నిలుచుచున్నాడు; అతడు బాణములను ఇటు అటు ఆడించుచు, విగ్రహములచేత విచారణ చేయుచు, కార్యమునుబట్టి శకునము చూచుచున్నాడు.

21. The king of Babylonia stands by the signpost at the fork of the road. To discover which way to go, he shakes the arrows; he consults his idols; he examines the liver of a sacrificed animal.

22. యెరూషలేము ఎదుట గుమ్మములను పడగొట్టు యంత్ర ములు పెట్టుమనియు, హతముచేయుదమనియు, ధ్వని ఎత్తుమనియు, జయధ్వని బిగ్గరగా ఎత్తుమనియు, గుమ్మ ములకు ఎదురుగా పడగొట్టు యంత్రములు ఉంచు మనియు, దిబ్బలు వేయుమనియు, ముట్టడి దిబ్బలు కట్టు మనియు యెరూషలేమునుగూర్చి తన కుడితట్టున శకునము కనబడెను.

22. Now! His right hand holds the arrow marked 'Jerusalem'! It tells him to go and set up battering rams, to shout the battle cry, to place battering rams against the gates, to throw up earthworks, and to dig trenches.

23. ప్రమాణములు చేసికొనిన వారికి ఈ శకునము వ్యర్థముగా కనబడును; అయితే వారు పట్టబడునట్లు వారు చేసికొనిన పాపమును అతడు వారి జ్ఞాపకమునకు తెప్పించును.

23. The people of Jerusalem won't believe this because of the treaties they have made. But this prediction is to remind them of their sins and to warn them that they will be captured.

24. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడుమీ అతిక్రమములు బయలుపడుటవలన మీ సమస్త క్రియలలోనుండి మీ పాపములు అగుపడునట్లు మీ దోషము మీరు మనస్సునకు తెచ్చుకొనినందునను, నేను మిమ్మును జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనినందునను మీరు చెయ్యి చిక్కియున్నారు.

24. This then is what I, the Sovereign LORD, am saying: Your sins are exposed. Everyone knows how guilty you are. You show your sins in your every action. You stand condemned, and I will hand you over to your enemies.

25. గాయపడినవాడా, దుష్టుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు అధిపతీ, దోషసమాప్తికాలమున నీకు తీర్పువచ్చియున్నది.

25. 'You wicked, unholy ruler of Israel, your day, the day of your final punishment, is coming.

26. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుతలాటమును తీసివేయుము కిరీట మును ఎత్తుము, ఇది యికను ఇట్లుండదు. ఇకమీదట నీచుని ఘనునిగాను ఘనుని నీచునిగాను చేయుము.

26. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken. Take off your crown and your turban. Nothing will be the same again. Raise the poor to power! Bring down those who are ruling!

27. నేను దానిని పడద్రోయుదును పడద్రోయుదును పడ ద్రోయుదును; దాని స్వాస్థ్యకర్త వచ్చువరకు అదియు నిలువదు, అప్పుడు నేను దానిని అతనికిచ్చెదను.

27. Ruin, ruin! Yes, I will make the city a ruin. But this will not happen until the one comes whom I have chosen to punish the city. To him I will give it.

28. 'Mortal man, prophesy. Announce what I, the Sovereign LORD, am saying to the Ammonites, who are insulting Israel. Say to them: 'A sword is ready to destroy; It is polished to kill, to flash like lightning.

29. శకునగాండ్రు నీకొరకు మాయా దర్శనములు చూచుచుండగను, వారు వ్యర్థమైన వాటిని మీకు చెప్పుచుండగను, దోషసమాప్తి కాలమున శిక్షనొంది హతులైన దుర్మార్గుల మెడల ప్రక్కన అది నిన్ను పడ వేయును.

29. The visions that you see are false, and the predictions you make are lies. You are wicked and evil, and your day is coming, the day of your final punishment. The sword is going to fall on your necks.

30. ఖడ్గమును ఒరలోవేయుము; నీవు సృష్టింప బడిన స్థలములోనే నీవు పుట్టిన దేశములోనే నేను నీకు శిక్ష విధింతును.

30. 'Put up the sword! I will judge you in the place where you were created, in the land where you were born.

31. అచ్చటనే నా రౌద్రమును నీమీద కుమ్మరించెదను, నా ఉగ్రతాగ్నిని నీమీద రగుల బెట్టెదను, నాశనము చేయుటయందు నేర్పరులైన క్రూరులకు నిన్ను అప్పగించెదను.

31. You will feel my anger when I turn it loose on you like a blazing fire. And I will hand you over to brutal men, experts at destruction.

32. అగ్ని నిన్ను మింగును, నీ రక్తము దేశములో కారును, నీ వెన్నటికిని జ్ఞాపకమునకు రాకయుందువు; యెహోవానగు నేనే మాట ఇచ్చి యున్నాను.

32. You will be destroyed by fire. Your blood will be shed in your own country, and no one will remember you any more.' ' The LORD has spoken.
