1. The word of the Lord came to me. He said,

2. Son of man, will you judge the city of murderers? Will you tell her about all the terrible things she has done?

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నీ కాలము వచ్చునట్లు నరహత్యలు చేయు పట్టణమా, నిన్ను అపవిత్రపరచుకొనునట్లు విగ్రహములు పెట్టుకొను పట్టణమా, నీవు చేసిన నరహత్యలచేత నీకు నీవే నేరస్థాపన చేసి కొంటివి, నీవు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహములచేత నిన్ను నీవే అపవిత్రపరచుకొంటివి,

3. You must say, 'This is what the Lord God says: The city is full of murderers, so her time of punishment will come. She made filthy idols for herself, and those idols made her filthy!

4. నీకు నీవే శిక్ష తెప్పించు కొంటివి, శిక్షా సంవత్సరములు వచ్చుటకు నీవే కారణ మైతివి. కాబట్టి అన్యజనములలో నిందాస్పదముగాను, సకలదేశములలో అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను నిన్ను నియ మించుచున్నాను.

4. ''People of Jerusalem, you killed many people. You made filthy idols. You are guilty, and the time has come to punish you. Your end has come. Other nations will make fun of you and laugh at you.

5. సమీపస్థులేమి దూరస్థులేమి అందరును అపకీర్తి పొందినదానవనియు అల్లరితో నిండినదాన వనియు నిన్ను అపహసింతురు.

5. People far and near will make fun of you. You have ruined your name. You are filled with confusion.

6. నీలోని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రధానులందరును తమ శక్తికొలది నరహత్యచేయుదురు,

6. 'Look, all the leaders in Israel are using their strength just to kill other people.

7. నీలో తలిదండ్రులు అవమానమొందుదురు, నీ మధ్యనున్న పరదేశులు దౌర్జన్యము నొందుదురు, నీలో తండ్రిలేని వారును విధవరాండ్రును హింసింపబడుదురు,

7. And the people in Jerusalem don't respect their parents. There in the city, they abuse the foreigners. They cheat orphans and widows in that place.

8. నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువులను నీవు తృణీకరించుచున్నావు, నా విశ్రాంతిదినములను నీవు అపవిత్రపరచుచున్నావు.

8. You hate all that I consider holy. You treat my special days of rest as if they are not important.

9. కొండెములు చెప్పి నరహత్య చేయువారు నీలో కాపురమున్నారు, పర్వతములమీద భోజనము చేయువారు నీ మధ్య నివసించుచున్నారు, నీలో కామ వికార చేష్టలు జరుగుచున్నవి.

9. In Jerusalem, people tell lies in order to kill innocent people. They go to the mountains to worship false gods and then come back to Jerusalem to eat their fellowship meals. ''In Jerusalem, people commit many sexual sins.

10. తమ తండ్రి మానాచ్ఛాదనము తీయు వారు నీలో నున్నారు, అశుచియై బహిష్టియైన స్త్రీని చెరుపువారు నీలో కాపురమున్నారు.

10. There men commit sexual sins with their father's wife. There the men rape women�even during their monthly time of bleeding.

11. ఒకడు తన పొరుగువాని భార్యను కూడి హేయక్రియలు చేయును, మరియొకడు కామాతురుడై తన కోడలిని అపవిత్రపరచును, నీలో జనులు తండ్రి కుమార్తెయగు తమ సహోదరిని చెరుపుదురు.

11. One man commits a terrible sin against his own neighbor's wife. Another man has sex with his daughter-in-law and makes her unclean. Another man rapes his father's daughter� his very own sister.

12. నన్ను మరచిపోయి నరహత్యకై లంచము పుచ్చుకొనువారు నీలో నున్నారు, అప్పిచ్చి వడ్డి పుచ్చుకొని నీ పొరుగువారిని బాధించుచు నీవు బలవంతముగా వారిని దోచుకొనుచున్నావు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

12. There men accept bribes to kill people. You lend money and charge interest on the loans. You cheat your neighbors just to make a little money. You have even forgotten me.' This is what the Lord God said.

13. నీవు పుచ్చుకొనిన అన్యాయ లాభమును, నీవు చేసిన నరహత్యలను నేను చూచి నా చేతులు చరచుకొనుచున్నాను.

13. ''Now look! I will slam my hand down and stop you! I will punish you for cheating and killing people.

14. నేను నీకు శిక్ష విధింప బోవుకాలమున ఓర్చుకొనుటకు చాలినంత ధైర్యము నీ హృదయమునకు కలదా? సహించునంత బలము నీ కుండునా? యెహోవానగు నేనే మాట ఇచ్చియున్నాను, దానిని నేను నెరవేర్తును, నీ అపవిత్రతను బొత్తిగా తీసి వేయుటకై

14. Will you be brave then? Will you be strong at the time I come to punish you? No! I am the Lord. I have spoken, and I will do what I said!

15. అన్యజనులలో నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టుదును, ఇతర దేశములకు నిన్ను వెళ్లగొట్టుదును.

15. I will scatter you among the nations. I will force you to go to many countries. I will completely destroy the filthy things in this city.

16. అచ్చట అన్యజనుల ఎదుటనే నీ అంతట నీవే భ్రష్ఠుడవై నేను యెహోవానని నీవు తెలిసికొందువు.

16. But Jerusalem, you will become unclean. And the other nations will see all these things happen. Then you will know that I am the Lord.''

17. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

17. The word of the Lord came to me. He said,

18. Son of man, bronze, iron, lead, and tin are important metals, but when a worker melts silver to make it pure, those metals are poured off as waste. Israel has become like that waste to me.

19. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మీరందరును మష్టు వంటివారైతిరి. నేను మిమ్మును యెరూషలేము మధ్యను పోగుచేసెదను, ఒకడు వెండియు ఇత్తడియు ఇనుమును సీసమును తగరమును పోగుచేసి కొలిమిలో వేసి దానిమీద అగ్ని ఊది కరిగించినట్లు

19. So this is what the Lord God says: 'All of you have become like worthless waste. So I will gather you into Jerusalem.

20. నా కోపము చేతను రౌద్రముచేతను మిమ్మును పోగుచేసి అక్కడ మిమ్మును కరిగింతును.

20. Workers put silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into a fire. They blow on the fire to make it hotter. Then the metals begin to melt. In the same way I will put you in my fire and melt you. That fire is my hot anger.

21. మిమ్మును పోగుచేసి నా కోపాగ్నిని మీమీద ఊదగా నిశ్చయముగా మీరు దానిలో కరిగిపోవుదురు.

21. I will put you in my fire of anger and blow on it, and you will begin to melt.

22. కొలి మిలో వెండి కరుగునట్లు మీరు దానిలో కరిగిపోవుదురు, అప్పుడు యెహోవానైన నేను నా క్రోధమును మీమీద కుమ్మరించితినని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

22. In that city, you will be like silver melting in a fire. Then you will know that I am the Lord, and that I poured out my anger on you.''

23. The word of the Lord came to me. He said,

24. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేమునకు నీవీమాట ప్రకటింపుము నీవు పవిత్రము కాని దేశమువై యున్నావు

24. 'Son of man, speak to Israel. Tell her that she is not pure. I am angry at that country, so that country has not received its rain.

25. ఉగ్రత దినమందు నీకు వర్షము రాదు, అందులో ప్రవక్తలు కుట్రచేయుదురు, గర్జించు చుండు సింహము వేటను చీల్చునట్లు వారు మనుష్యులను భక్షింతురు. సొత్తులను ద్రవ్యమును వారు పట్టుకొందురు, దానిలో చాలామందిని వారు విధవరాండ్రుగా చేయుదురు,

25. The prophets in Jerusalem are making evil plans. They are like a lion�it roars when it begins to eat the animal it caught. They have destroyed many lives. They have taken many valuable things and made widows of many of the women in Jerusalem.

26. 'The priests have really hurt my teachings. They don't treat my holy things right�they don't show they are important. They treat holy things the same as things that are not holy. They treat clean things like things that are unclean. They don't teach the people about these things. They refuse to respect my special days of rest. They treat me as though I am not important.

27. దానిలో అధిపతులు లాభము సంపాదించుటకై నరహత్య చేయుటలోను మనుష్యులను నశింపజేయుటలోను వేటను చీల్చు తోడేళ్లవలె ఉన్నారు.

27. The leaders in Jerusalem are like a wolf eating the animal it has caught. They attack people and kill them just to get rich.

28. మరియు దాని ప్రవక్తలు వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు, యెహోవా ఏమియు సెలవియ్యనప్పుడు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పుచు, వట్టిసోదెగాండ్రయి జనులు కట్టిన మంటిగోడకు గచ్చుపూతపూయువారై యున్నారు.

28. The prophets don't warn the people� they cover up the truth. They are like workers who don't really repair a wall� they only put plaster over the holes. They only see lies. They do their magic to learn the future, but they only tell lies. They say, 'This is what the Lord God said.' But they are only lying�the Lord did not speak to them!

29. 'The common people take advantage of each other. They cheat and steal from each other. They get rich by taking advantage of poor, helpless beggars, and they really cheat the foreigners. They are not fair to them at all!

30. నేను దేశమును పాడుచేయకుండునట్లు ప్రాకారమును దిట్టపరచుటకును, బద్దలైన సందులలో నిలుచుటకును, తగిన వాడెవడని నేను ఎంత విచారించినను ఒకడైనను కనబడ లేదు.

30. I asked the people to {change their lives and} protect their country. I asked people to fix the walls. I wanted them to stand by those holes in the wall and fight to protect their city. But no one came to help!

31. కావున నేను నా క్రోధమును వారిమీద కుమ్మరింతును, వారి ప్రవర్తన ఫలము వారిమీదికి రప్పించి నా ఉగ్రతాగ్నిచేత వారిని దహింతును; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

31. So I will show them my anger�I will completely destroy them. I will punish them for the evil things they have done. It is all their fault.' This is what the Lord God said.
