1. A message came to me from the Lord. He said,

2. 'Son of man, are you going to judge Jerusalem? Will you judge this city that has so many murderers in it? Then tell its people they have done many evil things. I hate those things.

3. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నీ కాలము వచ్చునట్లు నరహత్యలు చేయు పట్టణమా, నిన్ను అపవిత్రపరచుకొనునట్లు విగ్రహములు పెట్టుకొను పట్టణమా, నీవు చేసిన నరహత్యలచేత నీకు నీవే నేరస్థాపన చేసి కొంటివి, నీవు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహములచేత నిన్ను నీవే అపవిత్రపరచుకొంటివి,

3. Tell them, 'The Lord and King says, 'Your city brings death on itself. You spill blood inside its walls. You pollute yourselves by making statues of gods.

4. నీకు నీవే శిక్ష తెప్పించు కొంటివి, శిక్షా సంవత్సరములు వచ్చుటకు నీవే కారణ మైతివి. కాబట్టి అన్యజనములలో నిందాస్పదముగాను, సకలదేశములలో అపహాస్యాస్పదముగాను నిన్ను నియ మించుచున్నాను.

4. You are guilty of spilling blood. The statues you have made have polluted you. ' ' 'You have brought your days to a close. The end of your years has come. So the nations will make fun of you. All of the countries will laugh at you.

5. సమీపస్థులేమి దూరస్థులేమి అందరును అపకీర్తి పొందినదానవనియు అల్లరితో నిండినదాన వనియు నిన్ను అపహసింతురు.

5. Those who are near you will tell jokes about you. So will those who are far away. Trouble fills the streets of your sinful city.

6. నీలోని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ప్రధానులందరును తమ శక్తికొలది నరహత్యచేయుదురు,

6. ' ' 'The princes of Israel are in your city. All of them use their power to spill blood.

7. నీలో తలిదండ్రులు అవమానమొందుదురు, నీ మధ్యనున్న పరదేశులు దౌర్జన్యము నొందుదురు, నీలో తండ్రిలేని వారును విధవరాండ్రును హింసింపబడుదురు,

7. They have made fun of fathers and mothers alike. They have crushed outsiders. They have treated badly the children whose fathers have died. They have done the same thing to widows.

8. నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువులను నీవు తృణీకరించుచున్నావు, నా విశ్రాంతిదినములను నీవు అపవిత్రపరచుచున్నావు.

8. ' ' 'You have looked down on the holy things that were set apart to me. You have misused my Sabbath days.

9. కొండెములు చెప్పి నరహత్య చేయువారు నీలో కాపురమున్నారు, పర్వతములమీద భోజనము చేయువారు నీ మధ్య నివసించుచున్నారు, నీలో కామ వికార చేష్టలు జరుగుచున్నవి.

9. You have spread lies about others so you can spill someone's blood. You eat at the mountain temples. You commit impure acts.

10. తమ తండ్రి మానాచ్ఛాదనము తీయు వారు నీలో నున్నారు, అశుచియై బహిష్టియైన స్త్రీని చెరుపువారు నీలో కాపురమున్నారు.

10. ' ' 'You bring shame on your fathers by having sex with their wives. You have sex with women during their monthly period. That is when they are 'unclean.'

11. One of you has sex with another man's wife. I hate that sin. Another brings shame on his daughter-in-law by having sex with her. Still another has sex with his sister, even though she is his own father's daughter.

12. నన్ను మరచిపోయి నరహత్యకై లంచము పుచ్చుకొనువారు నీలో నున్నారు, అప్పిచ్చి వడ్డి పుచ్చుకొని నీ పొరుగువారిని బాధించుచు నీవు బలవంతముగా వారిని దోచుకొనుచున్నావు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

12. ' ' 'You accept money from people who want special favors. You do it to spill someone's blood. You charge too much interest when you lend money. You get rich by cheating your neighbors. And you have forgotten me,' announces the Lord and King.

13. నీవు పుచ్చుకొనిన అన్యాయ లాభమును, నీవు చేసిన నరహత్యలను నేను చూచి నా చేతులు చరచుకొనుచున్నాను.

13. ' ' 'I will clap my hands because I am so angry. You got rich by cheating others. You spilled blood inside the walls of your city.

14. నేను నీకు శిక్ష విధింప బోవుకాలమున ఓర్చుకొనుటకు చాలినంత ధైర్యము నీ హృదయమునకు కలదా? సహించునంత బలము నీ కుండునా? యెహోవానగు నేనే మాట ఇచ్చియున్నాను, దానిని నేను నెరవేర్తును, నీ అపవిత్రతను బొత్తిగా తీసి వేయుటకై

14. Will you be brave on the day I deal with you? Will you be strong at that time? I have spoken. I will do it. I am the Lord.

15. అన్యజనులలో నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టుదును, ఇతర దేశములకు నిన్ను వెళ్లగొట్టుదును.

15. ' ' 'I will scatter you among the nations. I will send you to other countries. I will put an end to your 'uncleanness.'

16. అచ్చట అన్యజనుల ఎదుటనే నీ అంతట నీవే భ్రష్ఠుడవై నేను యెహోవానని నీవు తెలిసికొందువు.

16. You will be polluted in the sight of the nations. Then you will know that I am the Lord.' ' '

17. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

17. A message came to me from the Lord. He said,

18. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నా దృష్టికి మష్టువంటివారైరి, అందరును కొలిమి లోని ఇత్తడియు తగరమును ఇనుమును సీసము నైరి, వారు వెండి మష్టువంటివారైరి.

18. 'Son of man, the people of Israel have become like scum to me. All of them are like the copper, tin, iron and lead that are left inside a furnace. They are only the scum that is removed from silver.'

19. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా మీరందరును మష్టు వంటివారైతిరి. నేను మిమ్మును యెరూషలేము మధ్యను పోగుచేసెదను, ఒకడు వెండియు ఇత్తడియు ఇనుమును సీసమును తగరమును పోగుచేసి కొలిమిలో వేసి దానిమీద అగ్ని ఊది కరిగించినట్లు

19. So the Lord and King says, 'People of Israel, all of you have become like scum. So I will gather you together in Jerusalem.

20. నా కోపము చేతను రౌద్రముచేతను మిమ్మును పోగుచేసి అక్కడ మిమ్మును కరిగింతును.

20. Men put silver, copper, iron, lead and tin into a furnace. They melt it with a blazing fire. In the same way, I will gather you. I will pour out my burning anger on you. I will put you inside the city and melt you.

21. మిమ్మును పోగుచేసి నా కోపాగ్నిని మీమీద ఊదగా నిశ్చయముగా మీరు దానిలో కరిగిపోవుదురు.

21. I will gather you together. My burning anger will blaze out at you. And you will be melted inside Jerusalem.

22. కొలి మిలో వెండి కరుగునట్లు మీరు దానిలో కరిగిపోవుదురు, అప్పుడు యెహోవానైన నేను నా క్రోధమును మీమీద కుమ్మరించితినని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు.

22. Silver is melted in a furnace. And you will be melted inside the city. Then you will know that I have poured out my burning anger on you. I am the Lord.'

23. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

23. Another message came to me from the Lord. He said,

24. నరపుత్రుడా, యెరూషలేమునకు నీవీమాట ప్రకటింపుము నీవు పవిత్రము కాని దేశమువై యున్నావు

24. 'Son of man, speak to the land. Tell it, 'You have not had any rain or showers. That is because I am angry with you.'

25. ఉగ్రత దినమందు నీకు వర్షము రాదు, అందులో ప్రవక్తలు కుట్రచేయుదురు, గర్జించు చుండు సింహము వేటను చీల్చునట్లు వారు మనుష్యులను భక్షింతురు. సొత్తులను ద్రవ్యమును వారు పట్టుకొందురు, దానిలో చాలామందిని వారు విధవరాండ్రుగా చేయుదురు,

25. Ezekiel, the princes of the land are like a roaring lion that tears its food apart. They eat people up. They take treasures and other valuable things. They cause many women in the land to become widows.

26. దాని యాజకులు నా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును నిరాక రించుదురు, నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువులను అపవిత్ర పరచుదురు, ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానికిని సాధారణమైనదానికిని భేదమెంచరు, పవిత్రమేదో అపవిత్రమేదో తెలిసికొను టకు జనులకు నేర్పరు, నేను విధించిన విశ్రాంతిదినములను ఆచరింపరు, వారి మధ్య నేను దూషింపబడుచున్నాను.

26. 'Its priests break my law. They treat things that are set apart to me as if they were not holy. They treat holy and common things as if they were the same. They teach that there is no difference between things that are 'clean' and things that are not. They refuse to keep my Sabbath days. So they treat me as if I were not holy.

27. దానిలో అధిపతులు లాభము సంపాదించుటకై నరహత్య చేయుటలోను మనుష్యులను నశింపజేయుటలోను వేటను చీల్చు తోడేళ్లవలె ఉన్నారు.

27. 'The officials in the land are like wolves that tear their food apart. They spill blood and kill people to get rich.

28. మరియు దాని ప్రవక్తలు వ్యర్థమైన దర్శనములు కనుచు, యెహోవా ఏమియు సెలవియ్యనప్పుడు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పుచు, వట్టిసోదెగాండ్రయి జనులు కట్టిన మంటిగోడకు గచ్చుపూతపూయువారై యున్నారు.

28. The prophets cover up those acts for them. The visions of those prophets are false. They use magic to try to find out what is going to happen. But their magic tricks are lies. They say, 'The Lord and King says,' But I have not spoken to them.

29. 'The people of the land get rich by cheating others. They steal. They crush those who are poor and in need. They treat outsiders badly. They refuse to be fair to them.

30. నేను దేశమును పాడుచేయకుండునట్లు ప్రాకారమును దిట్టపరచుటకును, బద్దలైన సందులలో నిలుచుటకును, తగిన వాడెవడని నేను ఎంత విచారించినను ఒకడైనను కనబడ లేదు.

30. 'I looked for a man among them who would stand up for Jerusalem. I tried to find someone who would pray to me for the land. Then I would not have to destroy it. But I could not find anyone who would pray for it.

31. కావున నేను నా క్రోధమును వారిమీద కుమ్మరింతును, వారి ప్రవర్తన ఫలము వారిమీదికి రప్పించి నా ఉగ్రతాగ్నిచేత వారిని దహింతును; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

31. So I will pour out my anger on its people. I will destroy them because my anger burns against them. And anything that happens to them will be their own fault,' announces the Lord and King.
