1. The Word of the Lord came to me saying,

2. 'Son of man, speak in My name and say, 'This is what the Lord God says: 'Cry in a loud voice, 'It is bad for that day!'

3. యెహోవా దినము వచ్చెను, అది దుర్దినము, అన్యజనులు శిక్షనొందు దినము.

3. For the day is near. The day of the Lord is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of trouble for the nations.

4. ఖడ్గము ఐగుప్తు దేశముమీద పడును, ఐగుప్తీయులలో హతులు కూలగా కూషుదేశస్థులు వ్యాకులపడుదురు, శత్రువులు ఐగుప్తీయుల ఆస్తిని పట్టుకొని దేశపు పునాదులను పడగొట్టు దురు.

4. A sword will come against Egypt, and Ethiopia will be very troubled. When the people are killed in Egypt, her riches will be taken away, and her country destroyed.

5. కూషీయులును పూతీయులును లూదీయులును కూబీయులును నిబంధన దేశపువారును మిశ్రిత జనులంద రును ఖడ్గముచేత కూలుదురు.

5. Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all of Arabia, Libya, and the people of Israel living there, all who have an agreement with Egypt will be killed by the sword.' ' '

6. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ఐగుప్తును ఉద్ధరించు వారు కూలుదురు, దాని బలగర్వము అణగిపోవును, మిగ్దోలు మొదలుకొని సెవేనేవరకు జనులు ఖడ్గముచేత కూలుదురు.

6. 'The Lord says, 'Those who help Egypt will be killed in battle. The pride of her power will come down. From Migdol to Syene they will be killed by the sword,' says the Lord God.

7. పాడైపోయిన దేశముల మధ్య ఐగుప్తీయులు దిక్కులేనివారుగా నుందురు, నలుదిక్కుల పాడైపోయిన పట్టణములమధ్య వారి పట్టణము లుండును.

7. 'They will be a waste among the lands that are laid waste. And her cities will be among the destroyed cities.

8. ఐగుప్తుదేశములో అగ్ని రగులబెట్టి నేను దానికి సహాయకులు లేకుండ చేయగా నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

8. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I start a fire in Egypt and all those who help her are destroyed.

9. ఆ దినమందు దూతలు నా యెదుట నుండి బయలుదేరి ఓడలెక్కి నిర్విచారులైన కూషీయులను భయపెట్టుదురు, ఐగుప్తునకు విమర్శకలిగిన దినమున జరిగి నట్టు వారికి భయభ్రాంతులు పుట్టును, అదిగో అది వచ్చే యున్నది.

9. On that day I will send men in ships to bring fear to Ethiopians who think they are safe. They will be troubled and afraid as when Egypt is destroyed, for their day is coming!'

10. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ఐగుప్తీయులు చేయు అల్లరి బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరుచేత నేను మాన్పించెదను.

10. The Lord God says, 'I will put an end to Egypt's riches by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

11. జనములలో భయంకరులగు తన జనులను తోడుకొని ఆ దేశమును లయపరుచుటకు అతడు వచ్చును, ఐగుప్తీయులను చంపుటకై వారు తమ ఖడ్గములను ఒరదీసి హతమైన వారితో దేశమును నింపెదరు.

11. He and his people show the least pity of all the nations, and they will be brought in to destroy the land. They will use their swords against Egypt and fill the land with dead bodies.

12. నైలునదిని ఎండిపోజేసి నేనా దేశమును దుర్జనులకు అమ్మి వేసెదను, పరదేశులచేత నేను ఆ దేశమును దానిలోనున్న సమస్తమును పాడుచేయించెదను, యెహోవానైన నేను మాట యిచ్చియున్నాను

12. And I will dry up the Nile River and sell the land to sinful men. I will destroy the land and everything in it, by the hand of strangers. I, the Lord, have spoken.'

13. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెల విచ్చుచున్నాడు విగ్రహములను నిర్మూలముచేసి, నొపులో ఒక బొమ్మలేకుండ చేసెదను, ఇక ఐగుప్తుదేశములో అధిపతిగా ఉండుట కెవడును లేకపోవును, ఐగుప్తుదేశములో భయము పుట్టించెదను.

13. 'The Lord God says, 'I will also destroy the false gods and put an end to the objects of worship in Memphis. There will no longer be a leader in the land of Egypt, so I will put fear in the land.

14. పత్రోసును పాడుచేసెదను. సోయనులో అగ్నియుంచెదను, నోలో తీర్పులు చేసెదను.

14. I will destroy Pathros, start a fire in Zoan, and punish Thebes.

15. ఐగుప్తునకు కోటగా నున్న సీనుమీద నా క్రోధము కుమ్మరించెదను, నోలోని జనసమూహమును నిర్మూలము చేసెదను

15. I will be angry with Pelusium, the strong city of Egypt. And I will destroy the riches of Thebes.

16. ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నేను అగ్నియుంచగా సీనునకు మెండుగ నొప్పిపట్టును, నోపురము పడగొట్టబడును, పగటివేళ శత్రువులు వచ్చి నొపుమీద పడుదురు.

16. I will start a fire in Egypt. Pelusium will suffer much. Thebes will be broken open. And Memphis will not have rest from troubles and fear.

17. ఓనువారిలోను పిబేసెతు వారిలోను ¸యౌవనులు ఖడ్గము చేత కూలుదురు. ఆ పట్టణస్థులు చెరలోనికి పోవుదురు.

17. The young men of On and Pi-beseth will be killed in battle, and the women will be taken away.

18. ఐగుప్తు పెట్టిన కాండ్లను నేను తహపనేసులో విరుచు దినమున చీకటికమ్మును, ఐగుప్తీయుల బలగర్వము అణచబడును, మబ్బు ఐగుప్తును కమ్మును, దాని కుమార్తెలు చెర లోనికి పోవుదురు.

18. At Tehaphnehes the day will be dark when I break the power of Egypt. The pride of her strength will come to an end. A cloud will cover her, and her daughters will be taken away.

19. నేను ఐగుప్తీయులకు శిక్ష విధింపగా నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

19. So I will punish Egypt, and they will know that I am the Lord.' '

20. పదకొండవ సంవత్సరము మొదటి నెల యేడవ దినమున యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

20. On the seventh day of the first month in the eleventh year, the Word of the Lord came to me saying,

21. నరపుత్రుడా, నేను ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరో బాహువును విరిచితిని, అది బాగవుటకు ఎవరును దానికి కట్టుకట్టరు, అది కుదర్చబడి ఖడ్గము పట్టుకొనులాగున ఎవరును దానికి బద్దకట్టరు; కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా

21. 'Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt. And it has not been wrapped so that it could heal and be strong enough to hold the sword.

22. నేను ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరోకు విరోధినైయున్నాను, బాగుగా ఉన్న దానిని విరిగిపోయిన దానిని అతని రెండు చేతులను విరిచి, అతని చేతిలోనుండి ఖడ్గము జారిపడజేసెదను.

22. So the Lord God says, 'I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt and will break his arms, both the strong one and the one already broken. And I will make the sword fall from his hand.

23. ఐగుప్తీయులను జనములలోనికి చెదరగొట్టుదును, ఆ యా దేశములకు వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టుదును.

23. I will divide the Egyptians among the nations and spread them out among the lands.

24. మరియు బబులోను రాజుయొక్క చేతులను బలపరచి నా ఖడ్గము అతని చేతికిచ్చెదను, ఫరోయొక్క చేతులను నేను విరిచినందున బబులోనురాజు చూచుచుండగా ఫరో చావు దెబ్బతినిన వాడై మూల్గులిడును.

24. For I will give strength to the arms of the king of Babylon and put My sword in his hand, and I will break the arms of Pharaoh, so that he will cry in pain in front of him like a dying man in battle.

25. బబులోను రాజుయొక్క చేతులను బలపరచి ఫరో చేతులను ఎత్తకుండచేసి, ఐగుప్తుదేశముమీద చాపుటకై నేను నా ఖడ్గమును బబులోనురాజు చేతికియ్యగా నేను యెహోవానైయున్నానని ఐగుప్తీయులు తెలిసికొందురు.

25. I will give strength to the arms of the king of Babylon, but Pharaoh's arms will fall. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I give My sword to the king of Babylon and he uses it against the land of Egypt.

26. నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నేను ఐగుప్తీయులను జనములలోనికి చెదరగొట్టి ఆ యా దేశములకు వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టుదును.

26. I will make the Egyptians go to the different nations and spread them out among the lands. Then they will know that I am the Lord.' '
