1. Agayne, the worde off the LORDE came vnto me, sayenge:

2. నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు నీ జనులకు సమాచారము ప్రకటించి వారితో ఇట్లనుము నేను ఒకానొక దేశముమీదికి ఖడ్గమును రప్పింపగా ఆ జనులు తమలో ఒకనిని ఏర్పరచుకొని కావలిగా నిర్ణయించిన యెడల

2. Thou sonne off man, Speake to the childre of thy people, and tell them: When I sende a swearde vpon a londe, yf the people off the londe take a man off their countre, and set him to be their watchman:

3. అతడు దేశముమీదికి ఖడ్గము వచ్చుట చూచి, బాకా ఊది జనులను హెచ్చరిక చేసిన సమయమున

3. ye same man (wha he seyth the swearde come vpon the londe) shall blowe the trompet, and warne the people.

4. ఎవడైనను బాకానాదము వినియును జాగ్రత్తపడనందున ఖడ్గమువచ్చి వాని ప్రాణము తీసినయెడల వాడు తన ప్రాణమునకు తానే ఉత్తరవాది

4. Yff a man now heare the noyse off the trompet & will not be warned, and the swearde come ad take him awaye: his bloude shall be vpo his owne heade:

5. బాకానాదము విని యును వాడు జాగ్రత్తపడకపోయెను గనుక తన ప్రాణమునకు తానే ఉత్తరవాది; ఏలయనగా వాడు జాగ్రత్తపడిన యెడల తనప్రాణమును రక్షించుకొనును.

5. For he herde the soude of the trompet, and wolde not take hede, therfore his bloude be vpon him. But yff he will receaue warnynge, he shal saue his life.

6. అయితే కావలి వాడు ఖడ్గము వచ్చుట చూచియు, బాకా ఊదనందు చేత జనులు అజాగ్రత్తగా ఉండుటయు, ఖడ్గము వచ్చి వారిలో ఒకని ప్రాణము తీయుటయు తటస్థించిన యెడల వాడు తన దోషమును బట్టి పట్టబడినను, నేను కావలివానియొద్ద వాని ప్రాణమునుగూర్చి విచారణచేయు దును.

6. Agayne, yf the watch man se the swerde come, and shewe it not with the trompet, so yt the people is not warned: yff the swearde come then, and take eny man from amoge the: the same shall be taken awaye in his owne synne, but his bloude will I requyre off the watchmans honde.

7. నరపుత్రుడా, నేను నిన్ను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు కావలివానిగా నియమించియున్నాను గనుక నీవు నా నోటిమాటను విని నాకు ప్రతిగా వారిని హెచ్చరిక చేయవలెను.

7. And now (O thou sonne of man) I haue made the a watchman vnto the house of Israel: that where as thou hearest eny thinge out of my mouth, thou mayest warne them on my behalfe.

8. దుర్మార్గుడా, నీవు నిశ్చయముగా మరణము నొందుదువు అని దుర్మార్గునికి నేను సెలవియ్యగా, అతడు తన దుర్మార్గతను విడిచి జాగ్రత్తపడునట్లు నీవు ఆ దుర్మార్గునికి నా మాట తెలియజేయని యెడల ఆ దుర్మార్గుడు తన దోషమునుబట్టి మరణము నొందును గాని అతని ప్రాణమునుగూర్చి నిన్ను విచారణచేయుదును.

8. Yff I saye vnto the wicked: thou wicked, thou shalt surely dye: and thou geuest him not warnynge, that he maye bewarre off his vngodly waye: then shall the wicked dye in his owne synne, but his bloude will I requyre of thy honde.

9. అయితే ఆ దుర్మార్గుడు తన దుర్మార్గతను విడువవలెనని నీవు అతనిని హెచ్చరిక చేయగా అతడు తన దుర్మార్గతను విడువనియెడల అతడు తన దోషమునుబట్టి మరణము నొందును గాని నీవు నీ ప్రాణము దక్కించుకొందువు.

9. Neuertheles yf thou warne the wicked off his waye, to turne from it, where as he yet wil not be turned from it: then shal he dye because off his synne, but thou hast delyuered thy soule.

10. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఈ మాట ప్రకటింపుము మా పాపదోషములు మామీద పడియున్నవి, వాటివలన మేము క్షీణించుచున్నాము, మనమెట్లు బ్రదకుదుమని మీరు చెప్పుకొనుమాట నిజమే.

10. Therfore (O thou sonne off man) speake vnto the house off Israel, Ye saye thus: Oure offences and synnes lye vpon vs, and we be corrupte in them: how shulde we then be restored vnto life?

11. కాగా వారితో ఇట్లనుము నా జీవముతోడు దుర్మార్గుడు మరణము నొందుటవలన నాకు సంతోషము లేదు; దుర్మార్గుడు తన దుర్మార్గతనుండి మరలి బ్రదుకుటవలన నాకు సంతోషము కలుగును. కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మనస్సు త్రిప్పుకొనుడి, మీ దుర్మార్గతనుండి మరలి మనస్సు త్రిప్పు కొనుడి, మీరెందుకు మరణము నొందుదురు? ఇదే ప్రభు వగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

11. Tell them: As truly as I lyue (saieth the LORDE God) I haue no pleasure in the death off the wicked, but moch rather that the wicked turne from his waye and lyue. Turne you, turne you from yor vngodly wayes, o ye off the house off Israel. Oh, wherfore will ye dye?

12. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు నీ జనులకు ఈ మాట తెలియజేయుము నీతిమంతుడు పాపము చేసిన దినమున అదివరకు అతడు అనుసరించిన నీతి అతని విడిపింపదు. దుష్టుడు చెడుతనము విడిచి మనస్సు త్రిప్పుకొనిన దినమున తాను చేసియున్న చెడు తనమునుబట్టి వాడు పడిపోడు, ఆలాగుననే నీతిమంతుడు పాపముచేసిన దినమున తన నీతినిబట్టి అతడు బ్రదుక జాలడు.

12. Thou sonne off man, tell the children off thy people: The rightuousnes of the rightuous shall not saue him, whan so euer he turneth awaye vnfaithfully: Agayne, the wickednesse of the wicked shal not hurte him, whan so euer he conuerteth from his vngodlynesse: And ye rightuousnesse of the rightuous shal not saue his life, when so euer he synneth.

13. నీతిమంతుడు నిజముగా బ్రదుకునని నేను చెప్పినందున అతడు తన నీతిని ఆధారముచేసికొని పాపము చేసినయెడల అతని నీతి క్రియలన్నిటిలో ఏదియు జ్ఞాపకమునకు తేబడదు, తాను చేసిన పాపమునుబట్టి యతడు మరణము నొందును.

13. Yff I saye vnto the rightuous, that he shall surely lyue, and so he trust to his owne rightuousnesse, and do synne: then shall his rightuousnesse be nomore thought vpon, but in the wickednesse that he hath done, he shall dye.

14. మరియు నిజముగా మరణము నొందుదువని దుర్మార్గునికి నేను సెలవియ్యగా అతడు తన పాపము విడిచి, నీతి న్యాయములను అనుస రించుచు

14. Agayne, yff I saye to the wicked: thou shalt surely dye: and so he turne fro his synnes, and do the thinge that is laufull and right:

15. కుదువసొమ్మును మరల అప్పగించుచు, తాను దొంగిలినదానిని మరల ఇచ్చివేసి పాపము జరిగింపక యుండి, జీవాధారములగు కట్టడలను అనుసరించినయెడల అతడు మరణము నొందక అవశ్యముగా బ్రదుకును.

15. In so moch that the same wicked ma geueth the pledge agayne, restoreth that he had taken awaye by robbery, walketh in the comaundementes off life, and doth no wroge: Then shall he surely lyue, and not dye.

16. అతడు చేసిన పాపములలో ఏదియు అతని విషయమై జ్ఞాపకమునకు తేబడదు, అతడు నీతిన్యాయములను అనుసరించెను గనుక నిశ్చయముగా అతడు బ్రదుకును.

16. Yee the synnes that he had done, shal neuer be thought vpon: For in so moch as he doth now the thynge that is laufull and right, he shall lyue.

17. అయినను నీ జనులు యెహోవా మార్గము న్యాయము కాదని యనుకొందురు; అయితే వారి ప్రవర్తనయే గదా అన్యాయ మైనది?

17. And yet the children off thy people saye: Tush, the waye of the LORDE is not right, where as their owne waye is rather vnright.

18. నీతిమంతుడు తన నీతిని విడిచి, పాపము చేసిన యెడల ఆ పాపమునుబట్టి అతడు మరణము నొందును.

18. When the rightuous turneth from his rightuousnesse, and doeth the thynge that is wicked, he shall dye therfore.

19. మరియు దుర్మార్గుడు తన దుర్మార్గతను విడిచి నీతిన్యాయములను అనుసరించినయెడల వాటినిబట్టి అతడు బ్రదుకును.

19. But yf the wicked turne from his wickednesse, doinge the thinge that is laufull and right, he shall lyue therfore.

20. యెహోవా మార్గము న్యాయము కాదని మీరనుకొనుచున్నారే; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీలో ఎవని ప్రవర్తననుబట్టి వానికి శిక్ష విధించెదను.

20. Yet ye saye: the waye of ye LORDE is not equall. O ye house of Israel, I wil iudge euery one of you after his wayes.

21. మనము చెరలోనికి వచ్చిన పండ్రెండవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల అయిదవ దినమున ఒకడు యెరూషలేములో నుండి తప్పించుకొని నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి పట్టణము కొల్ల పెట్టబడెనని తెలియజేసెను.

21. In the xij. yeare, the v. daye of the x. Moneth of oure captyuyte, it happened, that one which was fled out of Ierusalem, came vnto me, and sayde: ye cite is destroyed.

22. తప్పించుకొనినవాడు వచ్చిన వెనుకటి సాయంత్రమున యెహోవా హస్తము నామీదికి వచ్చెను; ఉదయమున అతడు నాయొద్దకు రాకమునుపే యెహోవా నా నోరు తెరవగా పలుకుటకు నాకు శక్తి కలిగెను, అప్పటినుండి నేను మౌనిని కాకయుంటిని.

22. Now the honde of the LORDE had bene vpon me the euenynge, afore this man (which was escaped) came vnto me, and had opened my mouth, vntyll the mornynge that he came to me: Yee he opened my mouth, so yt I was nomore domme.

23. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

23. Then came the worde of ye LORDE vnto me, and sayde:

24. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశములో పాడైపోయిన ఆ యా చోట్లను కాపురమున్న వారు అబ్రాహాము ఒంటరియై యీ దేశమును స్వాస్థ్యముగా పొందెను గదా; అనేకులమైన మనకును ఈ దేశము స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇయ్యబడదా అని అనుకొనుచున్నారు.

24. Thou sonne off man, these that dwell in the waisted londe of Israel, saye: Abraham was but one man, ad he had the londe in possessio: now are we many, and the londe is geuen vs to possesse also

25. కాబట్టి వారికీ మాట ప్రకటనచేయుము ప్రభువగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా రక్తము ఓడ్చి వేయక మాంసము భుజించు మీరు, మీ విగ్రహముల వైపు దృష్టియుంచు మీరు, నరహత్యచేయు మీరు, ఈ దేశమును స్వతంత్రించుకొందురా?

25. And therfore tell them: Thus saieth the LORDE: In the bloude haue ye eaten, youre eyes haue ye lift vp to Idols, and haue shed bloude: shal ye then haue the londe in possession?

26. మీరు ఖడ్గము నాధారము చేసికొను వారు, హేయక్రియలు జరిగించు వారు, పొరుగువాని భార్యను చెరుపువారు; మీవంటి వారు దేశమును స్వతంత్రించుకొందురా? నీవీలాగున వారికి చెప్పుము ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా

26. Ye leane vpon youre sweardes, ye worke abhominacions, euery one defyleth his neghbours wife: and shal ye then possesse the londe?

27. నా జీవముతోడు పాడైపోయిన స్థలములలో ఉండువారు ఖడ్గముచేత కూలుదురు, బయట పొలములో ఉండు వారిని నేను మృగములకు ఆహారముగా ఇచ్చెదను, కోటలలోనివారును గుహలలోనివారును తెగులుచేత చచ్చెదరు.

27. Saye thou these wordes vnto the: Thus saieth the LORDE God: As truly as I lyue, all ye that dwell in this wildernesse, shall be slayne wt the swearde: what so is vpon the felde, will I geue vnto the beestes to be deuoured: those that be in stronge holdes and dennes, shall dye off the pestilece.

28. ఆ దేశమును నిర్జనముగాను పాడుగానుచేసి దాని బలాతిశయమును మాన్పించెదను, ఎవరును వాటిలో సంచరింపకుండ ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మన్యములు పాడవును.

28. For I wil make the londe desolate and waist, and ye pope off hir strength shall come to an ende. The mountaynes in Israel shalbe so waiste that no man shall trauayle therby.

29. వారు చేసిన హేయక్రియలన్నిటినిబట్టి వారి దేశమును పాడుగాను నిర్జనముగాను నేను చేయగా నేనే యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

29. Then shall they lerne to knowe, that I am the LORDE, whe I make the lode waist and desolate, because off all their abhominacions, that they haue wrought.

30. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా; నీ జనుల గోడదగ్గరను ఇంటి ద్వారము లందును నిలువబడి నిన్ను గూర్చి మాటలాడుదురు, ఒకరి నొకరు చూచిపోదము రండి, యెహోవాయొద్దనుండి బయలుదేరు మాట యెట్టిదో చూతము రండి అని చెప్పు కొనుచున్నారు.

30. And thou sonne off man, the children off thy people yt talke of the, by the walles ad in the dores of their houses, sayenge one to another: come, let vs heare, what worde is gone forth from the LORDE:

31. నా జనులు రాదగిన విధముగా వారు నీయొద్దకు వచ్చి, నా జనులైనట్టుగా నీ యెదుట కూర్చుండి నీ మాటలు విందురు గాని వాటి ననుసరించి ప్రవర్తింపరు, వారు నోటితో ఎంతో ప్రేమ కనుపరచుదురు గాని వారి హృదయము లాభమును అపేక్షించు చున్నది.

31. These come vnto the, after ye maner of a greate people: yee my people syt downe before the, and heare thy wordes, but they do not therafter: For in their mouthes they shewe themselues, as though they were feruent, but their herte goeth after their owne couetous lucre.

32. నీవు వారికి వాద్యము బాగుగా వాయించుచు మంచి స్వరము కలిగిన గాయకుడవుగా ఉన్నావు, వారు నీ మాటలు విందురు గాని వాటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనరు.

32. And as a balet yt hath a swete tune, ad is pleasaut to synge, so shalt thou be vnto them: thy wordes shal they heare, but they will not do therafter.

33. అయినను ఆ మాట నెరవేరును, అది నెరవేరగా ప్రవక్త యొకడు తమ మధ్యనుండెనని వారు తెలిసికొందురు.

33. Whe this commeth to passe (for lo, it cometh in dede) then shal they knowe, that there hath bene a prophet amonge them.
