1. నరపుత్రుడా, పెంకు ఒకటి తీసికొనివచ్చి నీ ముందర ఉంచుకొని యెరూషలేము పట్టణపు రూపమును దాని మీద వ్రాయుము.

1. Thou also, son of man, take a tile and lay it before thee and portray upon it the city of Jerusalem

2. మరియు అది ముట్టడి వేయబడి నట్లును దానియెదుట బురుజులను కట్టినట్లును దిబ్బ వేసి నట్లును దాని చుట్టునున్న ప్రాకారములను కూలగొట్టు యంత్రములున్నట్లును నీవు వ్రాయుము.

2. and lay siege against it and build a fort against it and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set [battering] rams against it round about.

3. మరియు ఇనుపరేకొకటి తెచ్చి, నీకును పట్టణమునకును మధ్య ఇనుప గోడగా దానిని నిలువబెట్టి, నీ ముఖ దృష్టిని పట్టణము మీద ఉంచుకొనుము; పట్టణము ముట్టడి వేయబడినట్లుగా ఉండును, నీవు దానిని ముట్టడివేయువాడవుగా ఉందువు; అది ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సూచనగా ఉండును.

3. And take an iron pan and set it [for] a wall of iron between thee and the city; and set thy face against it and it shall be for an encompassment, and thou shalt lay siege against the [city]. This [shall be] a sign to the house of Israel.

4. మరియు నీ యెడమప్రక్కను పండుకొనియుండి ఇశ్రాయేలువారి దోషమును దానిమీద మోపవలెను; ఎన్ని దినములు నీవు ఆ తట్టు పండుకొందువో అన్ని దినములు నీవు వారి దోషమును భరింతువు.

4. Thou shalt sleep upon thy left side and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it; [according] to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity.

5. ఇశ్రాయేలు వారి దోషమును నీవు భరించునట్లుగా వారు దోషము చేసిన సంవత్సరముల లెక్కచొప్పున నీకు మూడువందల తొంబది దినములు నిర్ణయించియున్నాను.

5. For I have summed up [for] thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days; so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6. ఆ దినములు గడచిన తరువాత కుడిప్రక్కను పండుకొనియుండి నలువది దినములు యూదావారి దోషమును భరింపవలెను, సంవత్సర మొకటింటికి ఒక దినము చొప్పున నేను నిర్ణయించి యున్నాను.

6. And when thou hast accomplished them, thou shalt sleep on thy right side [this] second time, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: [a] day for [a] year; I have appointed thee [each] day for [a] year.

7. ఈలాగు నీవుండగా యెరూషలేము ముట్టడివేయబడినట్లు తేరిచూచుచు, చొక్కాయిని తీసివేసిన బాహువు చాపి దానినిగూర్చి ప్రకటింపవలెను.

7. Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm [shall be] uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against her.

8. పట్టణము ముట్టడివేయబడినట్లుండు దినములు నీవు రెండవ ప్రక్కను తిరుగక అదేపాటున ఉండునట్లు నిన్నుకట్లతో బంధింతును.

8. And, behold, I laced bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn from one side to another until thou hast ended the days [appointed thee] upon thy sides.

9. మరియు నీవు గోధుమలును యవలును కాయధాన్యములును చోళ్లును సజ్జలును తెల్ల జిలకరను తెచ్చుకొని, యొక పాత్రలో ఉంచి, నీవు ఆ ప్రక్కమీద పండుకొను దినముల లెక్కచొప్పున రొట్టెలు కాల్చుకొనవలెను, మూడువందల తొంబది దినములు నీవు ఈలాగున భోజనము చేయుచు రావలెను;

9. Take also unto thee wheat and barley and beans and lentils and millet and fitches and put them in one vessel and make thee bread thereof, [according] to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.

10. నీవు తూనికె ప్రకారము, అనగా దినమొకటింటికి ఇరువది తులముల యెత్తుచొప్పున భుజింపవలెను, వేళవేళకు తినవలెను,

10. And thy food which thou shalt eat [shall be] by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time shalt thou eat it.

11. నీళ్లు కొలప్రకారము అరపడిచొప్పున ప్రతిదినము త్రాగ వలెను, వేళవేళకు త్రాగవలెను;

11. Thou shalt also drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin; from time to time shalt thou drink.

12. యవల అప్పములు చేసి వారు చూచుచుండగా దానిని మనుష్య మలముతో కాల్చి భుజింపవలెను;

12. And thou shalt eat barley cakes baked under the ashes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight.

13. నేను వారిని తోలివేయు జనము లలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఈ ప్రకారము అపవిత్రమైన ఆహారమును భుజింతురని యెహోవా నాకు సెలవిచ్చెను.

13. And the LORD said, Even thus shall the sons of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.

14. అందుకు అయ్యో, ప్రభువా, యెహోవా, నేనెన్నడును అపవిత్రత నొందినవాడను కానే, బాల్యమునుండి నేటి వరకును చచ్చినదానినైనను మృగములు చీల్చినదానినైనను నేను తినినవాడను కానే, నిషిద్ధమైన మాంసము నా నోట ఎన్నడును పడలేదే అని నేననగా

14. Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul is not defiled: for from my youth up even until now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither has abominable flesh come into my mouth.

15. ఆయనచూడుము, మనుష్య మలమునకు మారుగా నీకు గోమలము నేను నిర్ణయించి యున్నాను; దీనితో నీవు నీ భోజనము సిద్ధ పరుచుకొనుమని సెలవిచ్చి

15. Then he said unto me, Behold, I give thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread with it.

16. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇదిగో యెరూషలేములో రొట్టెయను ఆధారమును నేను లేకుండ చేసినందున వారు తూనికె ప్రకారముగా బహు చింతతో రొట్టె భుజింతురు, నీళ్లు కొలచొప్పున త్రాగుచు విస్మయ మొందుదురు.

16. Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I break the sustenance of bread in Jerusalem; and they shall eat bread by weight, and with anguish; and they shall drink water by measure, and with terror.

17. అన్నపానములు లేకపోయినందున వారు శ్రమనొంది విభ్రాంతిపడి యొకనినొకడు చూచుచు తాము కలుగజేసికొనిన దోషమువలన నశించిపోవుదురు.

17. For they shall lack bread and water, and terrorize one another, and faint because of their iniquity.:
