1. నరపుత్రుడా, పెంకు ఒకటి తీసికొనివచ్చి నీ ముందర ఉంచుకొని యెరూషలేము పట్టణపు రూపమును దాని మీద వ్రాయుము.

1. And you, son of man, take a brick, and set it before your face, and portray on it the city, [even] Jerusalem.

2. మరియు అది ముట్టడి వేయబడి నట్లును దానియెదుట బురుజులను కట్టినట్లును దిబ్బ వేసి నట్లును దాని చుట్టునున్న ప్రాకారములను కూలగొట్టు యంత్రములున్నట్లును నీవు వ్రాయుము.

2. And you shall besiege it, and build works against it, and throw up a mound round about it, and pitch camps against it, and set up engines round about.

3. మరియు ఇనుపరేకొకటి తెచ్చి, నీకును పట్టణమునకును మధ్య ఇనుప గోడగా దానిని నిలువబెట్టి, నీ ముఖ దృష్టిని పట్టణము మీద ఉంచుకొనుము; పట్టణము ముట్టడి వేయబడినట్లుగా ఉండును, నీవు దానిని ముట్టడివేయువాడవుగా ఉందువు; అది ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు సూచనగా ఉండును.

3. And take to yourself an iron pan, and you shall set it [for] an iron wall between you and the city. And you shall set your face against it, and it shall be in a siege, and you shall besiege it. This is a sign to the children of Israel.

4. మరియు నీ యెడమప్రక్కను పండుకొనియుండి ఇశ్రాయేలువారి దోషమును దానిమీద మోపవలెను; ఎన్ని దినములు నీవు ఆ తట్టు పండుకొందువో అన్ని దినములు నీవు వారి దోషమును భరింతువు.

4. And you shall lie upon your left side, and lay the iniquities of the house of Israel upon it, according to the number of the hundred and fifty days [during] which you shall lie upon it; and you shall bear their iniquities.

5. ఇశ్రాయేలు వారి దోషమును నీవు భరించునట్లుగా వారు దోషము చేసిన సంవత్సరముల లెక్కచొప్పున నీకు మూడువందల తొంబది దినములు నిర్ణయించియున్నాను.

5. For I have appointed you their iniquities for a number of days, for a hundred and ninety days: so you shall bear the iniquities of the house of Israel.

6. ఆ దినములు గడచిన తరువాత కుడిప్రక్కను పండుకొనియుండి నలువది దినములు యూదావారి దోషమును భరింపవలెను, సంవత్సర మొకటింటికి ఒక దినము చొప్పున నేను నిర్ణయించి యున్నాను.

6. And you shall accomplish this, and [then] you shall lie on your right side, and shall bear the iniquities of the house of Judah for forty days: I have appointed you a day for a year.

7. ఈలాగు నీవుండగా యెరూషలేము ముట్టడివేయబడినట్లు తేరిచూచుచు, చొక్కాయిని తీసివేసిన బాహువు చాపి దానినిగూర్చి ప్రకటింపవలెను.

7. So you shall set your face to the siege of Jerusalem, and shall strengthen your arm, and shall prophesy against it.

8. పట్టణము ముట్టడివేయబడినట్లుండు దినములు నీవు రెండవ ప్రక్కను తిరుగక అదేపాటున ఉండునట్లు నిన్నుకట్లతో బంధింతును.

8. And behold, I have prepared bonds for you, and you may not turn from your one side to the other, until the days of your siege shall be accomplished.

9. మరియు నీవు గోధుమలును యవలును కాయధాన్యములును చోళ్లును సజ్జలును తెల్ల జిలకరను తెచ్చుకొని, యొక పాత్రలో ఉంచి, నీవు ఆ ప్రక్కమీద పండుకొను దినముల లెక్కచొప్పున రొట్టెలు కాల్చుకొనవలెను, మూడువందల తొంబది దినములు నీవు ఈలాగున భోజనము చేయుచు రావలెను;

9. Take also wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and grain; and you shall cast them into one earthen vessel, and shall make them into loaves for yourself; and you shall eat them a hundred and ninety days, according to the number of the days which you sleep on your side.

10. నీవు తూనికె ప్రకారము, అనగా దినమొకటింటికి ఇరువది తులముల యెత్తుచొప్పున భుజింపవలెను, వేళవేళకు తినవలెను,

10. And you shall eat your food by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shall you eat them.

11. నీళ్లు కొలప్రకారము అరపడిచొప్పున ప్రతిదినము త్రాగ వలెను, వేళవేళకు త్రాగవలెను;

11. And you shall drink water by measure, even from time to time you shall drink the sixth part of a hin.

12. యవల అప్పములు చేసి వారు చూచుచుండగా దానిని మనుష్య మలముతో కాల్చి భుజింపవలెను;

12. And you shall eat them [as] a barley cake; you shall bake them before their eyes in man's dung.

13. నేను వారిని తోలివేయు జనము లలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఈ ప్రకారము అపవిత్రమైన ఆహారమును భుజింతురని యెహోవా నాకు సెలవిచ్చెను.

13. And you shall say, Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Thus shall the children of Israel eat unclean things among the Gentiles.

14. అందుకు అయ్యో, ప్రభువా, యెహోవా, నేనెన్నడును అపవిత్రత నొందినవాడను కానే, బాల్యమునుండి నేటి వరకును చచ్చినదానినైనను మృగములు చీల్చినదానినైనను నేను తినినవాడను కానే, నిషిద్ధమైన మాంసము నా నోట ఎన్నడును పడలేదే అని నేననగా

14. Then I said, By no means, Lord God of Israel! Surely my soul has not been defiled with uncleanness, nor have I eaten that which has died of itself, or was torn by beasts from my birth until now; neither has any corrupt flesh entered into my mouth.

15. ఆయనచూడుము, మనుష్య మలమునకు మారుగా నీకు గోమలము నేను నిర్ణయించి యున్నాను; దీనితో నీవు నీ భోజనము సిద్ధ పరుచుకొనుమని సెలవిచ్చి

15. And He said to me, Behold, I have given you dung of oxen instead of man's dung, and you shall prepare your loaves upon it.

16. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇదిగో యెరూషలేములో రొట్టెయను ఆధారమును నేను లేకుండ చేసినందున వారు తూనికె ప్రకారముగా బహు చింతతో రొట్టె భుజింతురు, నీళ్లు కొలచొప్పున త్రాగుచు విస్మయ మొందుదురు.

16. And He said to me, Son of man, behold, I break the support of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight and in poverty, and shall drink water by measure, and in a state of ruin;

17. అన్నపానములు లేకపోయినందున వారు శ్రమనొంది విభ్రాంతిపడి యొకనినొకడు చూచుచు తాము కలుగజేసికొనిన దోషమువలన నశించిపోవుదురు.

17. that they may want bread and water; and a man and his brother shall be brought to ruin, and they shall pine away in their iniquities.
