1. మరియు నరపుత్రుడా, నీవు మంగలకత్తివంటి వాడిగల కత్తియొకటి తీసికొని నీ తలను గడ్డమును క్షౌరముచేసికొని, త్రాసు తీసికొని ఆ వెండ్రుకలను తూచి భాగములు చేయుము.

1. And you, son of man, take a sword sharper than a barber's razor; you shall procure it for yourself, and shall bring it upon your head, and upon your beard; and you shall take a pair of scales, and shall separate the hair.

2. పట్టణమును ముట్టడి వేసిన దినములు సంపూర్ణమైనప్పుడు నీవు పట్టణములో వాటి మూడవ భాగమును కాల్చి, రెండవ భాగమును తీసి ఖడ్గముచేత హతముచేయు రీతిగా దానిని చుట్టు విసిరికొట్టి మిగిలిన భాగము గాలికి ఎగిరిపోనిమ్ము; నేను ఖడ్గముదూసి వాటిని తరుముదును.

2. A fourth part you shall burn in the fire in the midst of the city, at the fulfillment of the days of the siege. And you shall take a fourth part, and burn it up in the midst of it. And a fourth part you shall cut with a sword round about it. And a fourth part you shall scatter to the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

3. అయితే వాటిలో కొన్నిటిని తీసికొని నీ చెంగున కట్టుకొనుము;

3. And you shall take a few of them, and wrap them in the fold of your garment.

4. పిమ్మట వాటిలో కొన్నిటిని మరల తీసి అగ్నిలోవేసి కాల్చుము; దానినుండి అగ్ని బయలుదేరి ఇశ్రాయేలు వారినందరిని తగులబెట్టును.

4. And you shall take of these again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them up with fire. From there shall come forth fire, and you shall say to the whole house of Israel,

5. మరియు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను ఇది యెరూషలేమే గదా, అన్యజనులమధ్య నేను దాని నుంచితిని, దానిచుట్టు రాజ్యములున్నవి.

5. Thus says the Lord: This is Jerusalem: I have set her and the countries round about her in the midst of the nations.

6. అయితే వారు నా విధులను తృణీకరించి, నా కట్టడల ననుసరింపక దుర్మార్గత ననుసరించుచు, నా విధులను కట్టడలను త్రోసి వేసి తమ చుట్టునున్న అన్యజనుల కంటెను దేశస్థులకంటెను మరి యధికముగా దుర్మార్గులైరి

6. And you shall declare My ordinances to the lawless one from out of the nations; and My statutes [to the sinful one] of the countries round about her, because they have rejected My ordinances, and have not walked in My statutes.

7. కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నా కట్టడల ననుసరింపకయు నా విధులను గైకొనకయు నుండువారై, మీ చుట్టునున్న అన్యజనులకు కలిగియున్న విధులనైనను అనుసరింపక, మీరు మీ చుట్టునున్న దేశస్థులకంటె మరి యధికముగా కఠినహృదయులైతిరి.

7. Therefore thus says the Lord: Because your occasion [for sin has been taken] from the nations round about you, and you have not walked in My statutes, nor kept My ordinances, no, you have not even done according to the ordinances of the nations round about you; therefore thus says the Lord:

8. కావున ప్రభువైన యెహోవానగు నేను నీకు విరోధినైతిని, అన్యజనులు చూచుచుండగా నీకు శిక్ష విధింతును.

8. Behold, I am against you, and I will execute judgment in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.

9. నీ హేయ కృత్యములను బట్టి పూర్వమందు నేను చేయనికార్యమును, ఇక మీదట నేను చేయబూనుకొనని కార్యమును నీ మధ్య జరిగింతును.

9. And I will do in you things which I have not done, and the like of which I will not do again, for all your abominations.

10. కావున నీ మధ్య తండ్రులు తమ కుమారులను భక్షింతురు, కుమారులు తమ తండ్రులను భక్షింతురు, ఈ ప్రకారము నేను నీకు శిక్ష విధించి నీలో శేషించిన వారిని నలుదిశల చెదరగొట్టుదును.

10. Therefore the fathers shall eat [their] children in the midst of you, and children shall eat [their] fathers; and I will execute judgments in you, and I will scatter all that are left of you to the four winds.

11. నీ హేయదేవత లన్నిటిని పూజించి నీవు చేసిన హేయమైన క్రియలన్నిటి చేత నా పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును అపవిత్ర పరచితివి గనుక కరుణా దృష్టియైనను జాలియైనను లేక నేను నిన్ను క్షీణింప జేసెదనని నా జీవముతోడు ప్రమాణము చేయుచున్నాను; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు

11. Therefore, [as] I live, says the Lord; surely, because you have defiled My holy things with all your abominations, I also will reject you; My eye shall not spare, and I will have no mercy.

12. కరవు వచ్చి యుండగా నీలో మూడవ భాగము తెగులుచేత మరణ మవును, మూడవ భాగము ఖడ్గముచేత నీ చుట్టు కూలును, నేను కత్తి దూసిి మిగిలిన భాగమును నలుదిశల చెదరగొట్టి తరుముదును.

12. A fourth part of you shall be cut off by pestilence, and a fourth part of you shall be consumed in the midst of you with famine; and [as for another] fourth part of you, I will scatter them to all the winds; and a fourth part of you shall fall by the sword round about you, and I will draw out a sword after them.

13. నా కోపము తీరును, వారిమీద నా ఉగ్రత తీర్చుకొని నన్ను ఓదార్చుకొందును, నేను వారి మీద నా ఉగ్రత తీర్చుకొనుకాలమున యెహోవానైన నేను ఆసక్తిగలవాడనై ఆలాగు సెలవిచ్చితినని వారు తెలిసి కొందురు

13. And My wrath and My anger shall be accomplished upon them: and you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken in My jealousy, when I have accomplished My anger upon them.

14. ఆలాగు నీ చుట్టునున్న అన్యజనులలో నిన్ను చూచు వారందరి దృష్టికి పాడుగాను నిందాస్పదముగాను నేను నిన్ను చేయుదును.

14. And I will make you desolate, and your daughters round about you, in the sight of everyone that passes through.

15. కావున నీ పోషణాధారము తీసివేసి, నీమీదికి నేను మహా క్షామము రప్పించి, నీవారు క్షయమగునట్లుగా వారిని క్షయపరచు మహాక్షామమును పంపించి, కోపముచేతను క్రోధముచేతను కఠినమైన గద్దింపులచేతను నేను నిన్ను శిక్షింపగా

15. And you shall be mourned over and miserable among the nations round about you, when I have executed judgments in you in the vengeance of My wrath. I, the Lord, have spoken.

16. నీ చుట్టునున్న అన్య జనులకు నీవు నిందకును ఎగతాళికిని హెచ్చరికకును విస్మయ మునకును ఆస్పదముగా ఉందువు; యెహోవానగు నేనే ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియున్నాను.

16. And when I have sent against them shafts of famine, then they shall be consumed, and I will break the strength of your bread.

17. ఈ ప్రకారము నేను నీమీదికి క్షామమును దుష్టమృగములను పంపుదును, అవి నీకు పుత్ర హీనత కలుగజేయును, తెగులును ప్రాణహానియు నీకు కలుగును, మరియు నీమీదికి ఖడ్గమును రప్పించెదను; యెహోవానగు నేనే యీలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాను.

17. So I will send forth against you famine and evil beasts, and I will take vengeance upon you; and pestilence and blood shall pass through upon you; and I will bring a sword upon you round about. I, the Lord, have spoken.
