1. రాజగు నెబుకద్నెజరు లోకమంతట నివసించు సకల జనులకును దేశస్థులకును ఆ యా భాషలు మాటలాడు వారికిని ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీకు క్షేమాభి వృద్ధి కలుగునుగాక.

1. 'Nebuchadnezzar the king to all peoples, nations, and languages, who are dwelling in all the earth: Your peace be great!

2. మహోన్నతుడగు దేవుడు నా యెడల చేసిన అద్భుతములను సూచక క్రియలను మీకు తెలియజేయుటకు నాకు మనస్సు కలిగెను.
యోహాను 4:48

2. The signs and wonders that God Most High hath done with me, it is good before me to shew.

3. ఆయన సూచక క్రియలు ఎంతో బ్రహ్మాండమైనవి; ఆయన అద్భుతములు ఎంతో ఘనమైనవి, ఆయన రాజ్యము శాశ్వత రాజ్యము; ఆయన ఆధిపత్యము తరతరములు నిలుచుచున్నది.

3. His signs how great! and His wonders how mighty! His kingdom [is] a kingdom age-during, and His rule [is] with generation and generation.

4. నెబుకద్నెజరను నేను నా యింట విశ్రాంతియు నా నగరమందు క్షేమమును గలవాడనైయుండి యొక కల కంటిని; అది నాకు భయము కలుగజేసెను.

4. 'I, Nebuchadnezzar, have been at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace:

5. నేను నా పడకమీద పరుండియుండగా నా మనస్సున పుట్టిన తలంపులు నన్ను కలతపెట్టెను.

5. a dream I have seen, and it maketh me afraid, and the conceptions on my bed, and the visions of my head, do trouble me.

6. కావున ఆ స్వప్నభావము నాకు తెలియజేయుటకై బబులోను జ్ఞానులనందరిని నా యెదుటికి పిలువనంపవలెనని ఆజ్ఞ నేనిచ్చితిని.

6. And by me a decree is made, to cause all the wise men of Babylon to come up before me, that the interpretation of the dream they may cause me to know.

7. శకున గాండ్రును గారడీవిద్యగలవారును కల్దీయులును జ్యోతిష్యులును నా సన్నిధికి రాగా నేను కనిన కలను వారితో చెప్పితిని గాని వారు దాని భావమును నాకు తెలుపలేక పోయిరి.

7. Then coming up are the scribes, the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers, and the dream I have told before them, and its interpretation they are not making known to me.

8. కడపట బెల్తెషాజరను నా దేవత పేరునుబట్టి బిరుదుపొందిన దానియేలను వాడు నా యెదుటికి వచ్చెను; పరిశుద్ధ దేవతల ఆత్మ అతనియందుండెను, కావున నేనతనికి నా కలను చెప్పితిని.

8. And at last come up before me hath Daniel, whose name [is] Belteshazzar -- according to the name of my god -- and in whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods, and the dream before him I have told:

9. ఎట్లనగా శకునగాండ్ర అధిపతి యగు బెల్తెషాజరూ, పరిశుద్ధ దేవతల ఆత్మ నీయందున్న దనియు, ఏ మర్మము నిన్ను కలతపెట్టదనియు నేనెరుగుదును గనుక నేను కనిన కలయు దాని భావమును నాకు తెలియ జెప్పుము.

9. 'O Belteshazzar, master of the scribes, as I have known that the spirit of the holy gods [is] in thee, and no secret doth press thee, the visions of my dream that I have seen, and its interpretation, tell.

10. నేను నా పడకమీద పరుండియుండగా నాకు ఈ దర్శనములు కలిగెను; నేను చూడగా భూమిమధ్యను మిగుల ఎత్తుగల యొక చెట్టు కనబడెను.

10. As to the visions of my head on my bed, I was looking, and lo, a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height [is] great:

11. ఆ చెట్టు వృద్ధి పొంది బ్రహ్మాండమైనదాయెను; దాని పైకొమ్మలు ఆకా శమునకంటునంత ఎత్తుగాను దాని ఆకారము భూతలమంత విశాలముగాను ఉండెను.

11. become great hath the tree, yea, strong, and its height doth reach to the heavens, and its vision to the end of the whole land;

12. దాని ఆకులు సొగసుగాను దాని పండ్లు విస్తారముగాను కనబడెను. అందులో సమస్త జీవకోట్లకు చాలునంత ఆహారముండెను; దాని నీడను అడవిజంతువులు పండుకొనెను, దాని కొమ్మలలో ఆకాశ పక్షులు కూర్చుండెను; సకల మనుష్యులకు చాలునంత ఆహారము దానియందుండెను.

12. its leaves [are] fair, and its budding great, and food for all [is] in it: under it take shade doth the beast of the field, and in its boughs dwell do the birds of the heavens, and of it fed are all flesh.

13. మరియు నేను నా పడక మీద పండుకొనియుండి నా మనస్సునకు కలిగిన దర్శనము లను చూచుచుండగా,

13. 'I was looking, in the visions of my head on my bed, and lo, a sifter, even a holy one, from the heavens is coming down.

14. జాగరూకుడగు ఒక పరిశుద్ధుడు ఆకాశమునుండి దిగి వచ్చి ఈలాగు బిగ్గరగా ప్రకటించెను ఈ చెట్టును నరికి దాని కొమ్మలను కొట్టి దాని ఆకులను తీసివేసి దాని పండ్లను పారవేయుడి; పశువులను దాని నీడనుండి తోలివేయుడి; పక్షులను దాని కొమ్మలనుండి ఎగురగొట్టుడి.

14. He is calling mightily, and thus hath said, Cut down the tree, and cut off its branches, shake off its leaves, and scatter its budding, move away let the beast from under it, and the birds from off its branches;

15. అయితే అది మంచునకు తడిసి పశువుల వలె పచ్చికలో నివసించునట్లు దాని మొద్దును ఇనుము ఇత్తడి కలిసిన కట్టుతో కట్టించి, పొలములోని గడ్డిపాలగు నట్లు దానిని భూమిలో విడువుడి.

15. but the stump of its roots leave in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field, and with the dew of the heavens is it wet, and with the beasts [is] his portion in the herb of the earth;

16. ఏడు కాలములు గడచువరకు వానికున్న మానవమనస్సునకు బదులుగా పశువు మనస్సు వానికి కలుగును.

16. his heart from man's is changed, and the heart of a beast is given to him, and seven times pass over him;

17. ఈ ఆజ్ఞ జాగరూకులగు దేవదూతల ప్రకటన ననుసరించి జరుగును, నిర్ణయ మైన పరిశుద్ధుల ప్రకటన ననుసరించి సంభవించును. మహోన్నతుడగు దేవుడు మానవుల రాజ్యముపైని అధికారియైయుండి, తానెవరికి అనుగ్రహింప నిచ్ఛయించునో వారికనుగ్రహించుననియు, ఆ యా రాజ్యము పైన అత్యల్ప మనుష్యులను ఆయన నియమించుచున్నాడనియు మనుష్యులందరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు ఈలాగు జరు గును.

17. by the decree of the sifters [is] the sentence, and by the saying of the holy ones the requirement, to the intent that the living may know that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and to whom He willeth He giveth it, and the lowest of men He doth raise up over it.

18. బెల్తెషాజరూ, నెబుకద్నెజరను నాకు కలిగిన దర్శనము ఇదే; నీవు తప్ప నా రాజ్యములో మరి ఏ జ్ఞానియు దాని భావము నాకు చెప్ప నేరడు. నీయందు పరిశుద్ధ దేవతల ఆత్మయున్నది గనుక నీవేదానిని చెప్ప సమర్థుడ వంటిని.

18. 'This dream I have seen, I king Nebuchadnezzar; and thou, O Belteshazzar, the interpretation tell, because that all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to cause me to know the interpretation, and thou [art] able, for the spirit of the holy gods [is] in thee.

19. అందుకు బెల్తెషాజరను దానియేలు ఒక గంటసేపు అతి విస్మయమునొంది మనస్సునందు కలవరపడగా, రాజు - బెల్తెషాజరూ, యీ దర్శనమువలన గాని దాని భావము వలన గాని నీవు కలవరపడకుము అనెను. అంతట బెల్తెషాజరు నా యేలినవాడా, యీ దర్శనఫలము తమరిని ద్వేషించు వారికి కలుగునుగాక, దాని భావము తమరి శత్రువులకు చెందునుగాక,

19. 'Then Daniel, whose name [is] Belteshazzar, hath been astonished about one hour, and his thoughts do trouble him; the king hath answered and said, O Belteshazzar, let not the dream and its interpretation trouble thee. Belteshazzar hath answered and said, My lord, the dream -- to those hating thee, and its interpretation -- to thine enemies!

20. తాము చూచిన చెట్టు వృద్ధి నొంది బ్రహ్మాండమైనదాయెను; దాని పైకొమ్మలు ఆకాశమునకంటునంత ఎత్తుగాను దాని ఆకారము భూతలమంత విశాలముగాను ఉండెను.

20. The tree that thou hast seen, that hath become great and strong, and its height doth reach to the heavens, and its vision to all the land,

21. దాని ఆకులు సొగసుగాను దాని పండ్లు విస్తారములుగాను కనబడెను, అందులో సమస్త జీవకోట్లకు చాలినంత ఆహారముండెను, దాని నీడను అడవిజంతువులు పండుకొనెను, దాని కొమ్మలలో ఆకాశపక్షులు కూర్చుండెనుగదా

21. and its leaves [are] fair, and its budding great, and food for all [is] in it, under it dwell doth the beast of the field, and on its boughs sit do the birds of the heavens.

22. రాజా, ఆ చెట్టు నిన్ను సూచించుచున్నది; నీవు వృద్ధిపొంది మహా బలముగలవాడ వైతివి; నీ ప్రభావము వృద్ధినొంది ఆకాశమంత ఎత్తాయెను; నీ ప్రభుత్వము లోకమంతట వ్యాపించియున్నది.

22. 'Thou it [is], O king, for thou hast become great and mighty, and thy greatness hath become great, and hath reached to the heavens, and thy dominion to the end of the earth;

23. చెట్టును నరుకుము, దాని నాశనము చేయుము గాని దాని మొద్దును భూమిలో ఉండనిమ్ము; ఇనుము ఇత్తిడి కలిసిన కట్టుతో ఏడు కాలములు గడచువరకు పొలములోని పచ్చికలో దాని కట్టించి, ఆకాశపుమంచుకు తడవనిచ్చి పశువులతో పాలుపొందనిమ్మని జాగరూకుడగు ఒక పరిశుద్ధుడు పరలోకమునుండి దిగివచ్చి ప్రకటించుట నీవు వింటివి గదా.

23. and that which the king hath seen -- a sifter, even a holy one, coming down from the heavens, and he hath said, Cut down the tree, and destroy it; but the stump of its roots leave in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field, and with the dew of the heavens it is wet, and with the beast of the field [is] his portion, till that seven times pass over him.

24. రాజా, యీ దర్శనభావమేదనగా, సర్వోన్నతుడగు దేవుడు రాజగు నా యేలినవానిగూర్చి చేసిన తీర్మానమేదనగా

24. 'This [is] the interpretation, O king, and the decree of the Most High it [is] that hath come against my lord the king:

25. తమయొద్ద నుండకుండ మనుష్యులు నిన్ను తరుముదురు, నీవు అడవి జంతువుల మధ్య నివాసము చేయుచు పశువులవలె గడ్డి తినెదవు; ఆకాశపు మంచు నీమీదపడి నిన్ను తడుపును; సర్వోన్నతుడగు దేవుడు మానవుల రాజ్యముపైన అధికారియై యున్నాడ నియు, తానెవనికి దాని ననుగ్రహింప నిచ్ఛయించునో వానికి అనుగ్రహించుననియు నీవు తెలిసికొనువరకు ఏడు కాల ములు నీకీలాగు జరుగును.

25. and they are driving thee away from men, and with the beast of the field is thy dwelling, and the herb as oxen they do cause thee to eat, and by the dew of the heavens they are wetting thee, and seven times do pass over thee, till that thou knowest that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and to whom He willeth He giveth it.

26. చెట్టుయొక్క మొద్దునుండ నియ్యుడని వారు చెప్పిరిగదా దానివలన సర్వోన్నతుడు అధికారియని నీవు తెలిసికొనిన మీదట నీ రాజ్యము నీకు మరల ఖాయముగ వచ్చునని తెలిసికొమ్ము.

26. And that which they said -- to leave the stump of the roots of the tree; thy kingdom for thee abideth, after that thou knowest that the heavens are ruling.

27. రాజా, నా యోచన నీ దృష్టికి అంగీకారమగును గాక; ఒకవేళ నీవు నీ పాపములుమాని నీతి న్యాయముల ననుసరించి, నీవు బాధపెట్టిన వారియందు కరుణ చూపినయెడల నీకున్న క్షేమము నీకికమీదట నుండునని దానియేలు ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చెను.

27. 'Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and thy sins by righteousness break off, and thy perversity by pitying the poor, lo, it is a lengthening of thine ease.

28. పైన జెప్పినదంతయు రాజగు నెబుకద్నెజరునకు సంభవించెను.

28. 'All -- hath come on Nebuchadnezzar the king.

29. పండ్రెండు నెలలు గడచిన పిమ్మట అతడు తన రాజధానియగు బబులోనులోని నగరునందు సంచరించుచుండగా

29. 'At the end of twelve months, on the palace of the kingdom of Babylon he hath been walking;

30. రాజుబబులోనను ఈ మహా విశాలపట్టణము నా బలాధికారమును నా ప్రభావఘనతను కనపరచుటకై నా రాజధాని నగరముగా నేను కట్టించినది కాదా అని తనలో తాననుకొనెను.

30. the king hath answered and said, Is not this that great Babylon that I have built, for the house of the kingdom, in the might of my strength, and for the glory of mine honour?

31. రాజు నోట ఈ మాట యుండగా ఆకాశమునుండి యొక శబ్దము వచ్చెను, ఏదనగా రాజగు నెబుకద్నెజరూ, యిదే నీకు ప్రకటన నీ రాజ్యము నీయొద్దనుండి తొలగిపోయెను.

31. 'While the word is [in] the king's mouth a voice from the heavens hath fallen: To thee they are saying: O Nebuchadnezzar the king, the kingdom hath passed from thee,

32. తమయొద్ద నుండి మనుష్యులు నిన్ను తరిమెదరు; నీవు అడవిజంతువుల మధ్య నివాసము చేయుచు పశువులవలె గడ్డి మేసెదవు; సర్వోన్నతుడగు దేవుడు మానవుల రాజ్యముపైన అధికారి యైయుండి, తానెవనికి దాని అనుగ్రహింప నిశ్చయిం చునో వానికి అనుగ్రహించునని నీవు తెలిసికొనువరకు ఏడు కాలములు నీకీలాగు జరుగునని చెప్పెను.

32. and from men they are driving thee away, and with the beast of the field [is] thy dwelling, the herb as oxen they do cause thee to eat, and seven times do pass over thee, till that thou knowest that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and to whom He willeth He giveth it.

33. ఆ గడియలోనే ఆలాగున నెబుకద్నెజరునకు సంభ వించెను; మానవులలోనుండి అతని తరిమిరి, అతడు పశువులవలె గడ్డిమేసెను, ఆకాశపుమంచు అతని దేహమును తడపగా అతని తలవెండ్రుకలు పక్షిరాజు రెక్కల ఈకెలవంటివియు అతని గోళ్లు పక్షుల గోళ్లవంటివియు నాయెను.

33. 'In that hour the thing hath been fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar, and from men he is driven, and the herb as oxen he eateth, and by the dew of the heavens his body is wet, till that his hair as eagles' hath become great, and his nails as birds.'

34. ఆ కాలము గడచిన పిమ్మట నెబుకద్నె జరను నేను మరల మానవబుద్ధిగలవాడనై నా కండ్లు ఆకాశము తట్టు ఎత్తి, చిరంజీవియు సర్వోన్నతుడునగు దేవుని స్తోత్రముచేసి ఘనపరచి స్తుతించితిని; ఆయన ఆధిపత్యము చిరకాలమువరకు ఆయన రాజ్యము తరతరములకు నున్నవి.

34. 'And at the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, mine eyes to the heavens have lifted up, and mine understanding unto me returneth, and the Most High I have blessed, and the Age-during Living One I have praised and honoured, whose dominion [is] a dominion age-during, and His kingdom with generation and generation;

35. భూనివాసులందరు ఆయన దృష్టికి ఎన్నికకు రానివారు; ఆయన పరలోక సేనయెడలను భూనివాసులయెడలను తన చిత్తము చొప్పున జరిగించువాడు; ఆయన చేయి పట్టుకొని నీవేమి చేయుచున్నావని ఆయనతో చెప్పుటకు ఎవడును సమర్థుడుకాడు.

35. and all who are dwelling on the earth as nothing are reckoned, and according to his will He is doing among the forces of the heavens and those dwelling on the earth, and there is none that doth clap with his hand, and saith to Him, What hast Thou done?

36. ఆ సమయమందు నా బుద్ధి మరల నాకు వచ్చెను, రాజ్య సంబంధమగు ప్రభావమును నా ఘనతయు నా తేజస్సును నాకు కలిగెను; నా మంత్రులును నా క్రిందియధిపతులును నాయొద్ద ఆలోచన చేయ వచ్చిరి. నా రాజ్యము నాకు స్థిరపడగా నేను మరి ఎక్కువ ఘనత నొందితిని.

36. 'At that time my understanding doth return unto me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honour and my brightness doth return unto me, and to me my counsellors and my great men do seek, and over my kingdom I have been made right, and abundant greatness hath been added to me.

37. ఈలాగు నెబుకద్నెజరను నేను పరలోకపు రాజుయొక్క కార్యములన్నియు సత్యములును, ఆయన మార్గములు న్యాయములునై యున్న వనియు, గర్వముతో నటించు వారిని ఆయన అణపశక్తు డనియు, ఆయనను స్తుతించుచు కొనియాడుచు ఘన పరచుచు నున్నాను.

37. 'Now, I, Nebuchadnezzar, am praising and exalting and honouring the King of the heavens, for all His works [are] truth, and His paths judgment, and those walking in pride He is able to humble.'
