1. అహరోను కుమారులైన నాదాబు అబీహులు తమ తమ ధూపార్తులను తీసికొని వాటిలో నిప్పులుంచి వాటి మీద ధూపద్రవ్యమువేసి, యెహోవా తమ కాజ్ఞాపింపని వేరొక అగ్నిని ఆయన సన్నిధికి తేగా

1. And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took each of them his censer and put fire therein and put incense thereon and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he had never commanded them.

2. యెహోవా సన్నిధి నుండి అగ్ని బయలుదేరి వారిని కాల్చివేసెను; వారు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మృతి బొందిరి.

2. And there went out fire from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

3. అప్పుడు మోషే అహరోనుతో ఇట్లనెను ఇది యెహోవా చెప్పిన మాట నాయొద్దనుండు వారియందు నేను నన్ను పరిశుద్ధపరచుకొందును; ప్రజలందరియెదుట నన్ను మహిమపరచుకొందును;

3. Then Moses said unto Aaron, This [is] what the LORD spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in those that come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron was silent.

4. అహరోను మౌనముగానుండగా మోషే అహరోను పిన తండ్రియైన ఉజ్జీయేలు కుమారులైన మీషా యేలును ఎల్సాఫానును పిలిపించిమీరు సమీపించి పరిశుద్ధస్థలము నెదుటనుండి పాళెము వెలుపలికి మీ సహోదరుల శవములను మోసికొని పోవుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.

4. And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.

5. మోషే చెప్పినట్లు వారు సమీపించి చొక్కాయిలను తీయకయే పాళెము వెలుపలికి వారిని మోసికొని పోయిరి.

5. So they went near and carried them in their coats out of the camp, as Moses had said.

6. అప్పుడు మోషే అహరోనును అతని కుమారులైన ఎలియాజరు ఈతామారును వారితో మీరు చావకుండునట్లును యెహోవా ఈ సర్వసమాజముమీద ఆగ్రహపడకుండునట్లును, మీరు తల విరియబోసికొనకూడదు; బట్టలను చింపుకొనకూడదు కాని, యెహోవా వారిని కాల్చినందుకు మీ సహోదరు లైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యింటివారందరు ఏడవ వచ్చును.

6. Then Moses said unto Aaron and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Do not uncover your heads, neither rend your clothes lest ye die and lest wrath come upon the whole congregation; but your brethren, the whole house of Israel, shall lament the burning which the LORD has done.

7. యెహోవా అభిషేకతైలము మీ మీద నున్నది గనుక మీరు చావకుండునట్లు మీరు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారములోనుండి బయలు వెళ్లకూడదనెను. వారు మోషే చెప్పిన మాట చొప్పున చేసిరి.

7. And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, lest ye die; for the anointing oil of the LORD [is] upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

8. మరియు యెహోవా అహరోనుతో ఇట్లనెను మీరు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారములోనికి వచ్చునప్పుడు

8. And the LORD spoke unto Aaron, saying,

9. మీరు చావకుండునట్లు నీవును నీ కుమారులును ద్రాక్షారసమునేగాని మద్యమునేగాని త్రాగకూడదు.

9. Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee when ye go into the tabernacle of the testimony, lest ye die; [it shall be] a perpetual statute throughout your generations;

10. మీరు ప్రతిష్ఠింపబడిన దానినుండి లౌకికమైనదానిని, అపవిత్రమైనదానినుండి పవిత్రమైనదానిని వేరుచేయుటకును,

10. and [this is] that ye may discern between the holy and the profane and between the unclean and the clean

11. యెహోవా మోషేచేత ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన సమస్త విధులను మీరు వారికి బోధించుటకును ఇది మీ తరతరములకు నిత్యమైనకట్టడ.

11. and that ye may teach the sons of Israel all the statutes which the LORD has spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

12. అప్పుడు మోషే అహరోనుతోను మిగిలిన అతని కుమారులైన ఎలియాజరు ఈతామారులతోను ఇట్లనెనుమీరు యెహోవా హోమద్రవ్యములలో మిగిలిన నైవేద్యమును తీసికొని అది పొంగకుండ బలిపీఠము దగ్గర తినుడి; అది అతిపరిశుద్ధము. యెహోవా హోమద్రవ్యములో నుండి అది నీకును నీ కుమారులకును నియమింపబడినవంతు.

12. And Moses spoke unto Aaron and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the present that remains of the offerings on fire unto the LORD and eat it without leaven beside the altar; for it [is] most holy:

13. కావున మీరు పరిశుద్ధ స్థలములో దానిని తినవలెను; నేను అట్టి ఆజ్ఞను పొందితిని.

13. Ye must, therefore, eat it in the holy place, because it [is] thy due and thy sons' due of the offerings of the LORD on fire; for so I am commanded.

14. మరియు అల్లాడించు బోరను ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన జబ్బను మీరు, అనగా నీవును నీతోపాటు నీ కుమారులును నీ కుమార్తెలును పవిత్రస్థలములో తినవలెను. ఏలయనగా అవి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అర్పించు సమాధానబలులలో నుండి నీకును నీ కుమారులకును నియ మింపబడిన వంతులు.

14. And the waved breast and elevated shoulder shall ye likewise eat in a clean place, thou and thy sons and thy daughters with thee; for [they are] thy due and thy sons' due, [which] are given out of the sacrifices of the peace of the sons of Israel.

15. హోమద్రవ్య రూపమైన క్రొవ్వును గాక యెహోవా సన్నిధిని అల్లాడింపబడిన దానిగా దానిని అల్లాడించునట్లు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన జబ్బను అల్లాడించు బోరను తీసికొని రావలెను. నిత్యమైన కట్టడచొప్పున అవి నీకును నీ కుమారులకును చెందును. అట్లు యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

15. With the offerings of the fat which are to be lit on fire, they shall bring the shoulder which is to be elevated and the breast which shall be waved as a wave [offering] before the LORD; and it shall be thine and thy sons' with thee by a perpetual statute, as the LORD has commanded.

16. అప్పుడు మోషే పాపపరిహారార్థబలియగు మేకను కనుగొనవలెనని జాగ్రత్తగా వెదకినప్పుడు అది కాలిపోయి యుండెను. అతడు అహరోను కుమారులలో మిగిలిన ఎలియాజరు ఈతామారను వారిమీద ఆగ్రహపడి

16. And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin, and, behold, it was burnt up, and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron [who were] left [alive], saying,

17. మీరు పరిశుద్ధస్థలములో ఆ పాపపరిహారార్థబలిపశువును ఏల తినలేదు? అది అతిపరిశుద్ధముగదా. సమాజము యొక్క దోషశిక్షను భరించి యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వారి నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయుటకై ఆయన దానిని మీకిచ్చెను గదా.

17. Why have ye not eaten of the [atonement for] sin in the holy place? For it [is] most holy, and [God] has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, that they may be reconciled before the LORD.

18. ఇదిగో దాని రక్తమును పరిశుద్ధస్థలములోనికి తేవలెను గదా. నేను ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు నిశ్చయముగా పరిశుద్ధస్థలములో దానిని తినవలెనని చెప్పెను.

18. Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the inner sanctuary; ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy [place], as I commanded.

19. అందుకు అహరోను మోషేతో ఇదిగో నేడు పాప పరిహారార్థ బలిపశువును దహనబలిద్రవ్యమును యెహోవా సన్నిధికి వారు తేగా ఇట్టి ఆపదలు నాకు సంభవించెను. నేను పాపపరిహారార్థమైన బలిద్రవ్యమును నేడు తినిన యెడల అది యెహోవా దృష్టికి మంచిదగునా అనెను.

19. And Aaron replied unto Moses, Behold, today they have offered their sin and their burnt offering before the LORD; with all this, these things have befallen me; therefore [if] I had eaten of the [atonement for] sin today, would it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?

20. మోషే ఆ మాట విని ఒప్పుకొనెను.

20. And when Moses heard [that], he was content.:
