1. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజముతో ఇట్లు చెప్పుము.

1. And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

2. Speak to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them, You are holy, for I am holy, Jehovah your God.

3. మీలో ప్రతివాడు తన తల్లికి తన తండ్రికి భయపడవలెను. నేను నియమించిన విశ్రాంతిదినములను ఆచరింపవలెను; నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను.

3. Each man of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My sabbaths; I am Jehovah your God.

4. మీరు వ్యర్థమైన దేవతలతట్టు తిరుగకూడదు. మీరు పోతవిగ్రహములను చేసికొనకూడదు. నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను

4. Do not turn to the idols; and you shall not make molten gods for yourselves; I am Jehovah your God.

5. మీరు యెహోవాకు సమాధానబలి అర్పించునప్పుడు అది అంగీ కరింపబడునట్లుగా అర్పింపవలెను.

5. And if you sacrifice a sacrifice of peace offerings to Jehovah, you shall sacrifice it of your free will;

6. మీరు బలినర్పించునాడైనను మరునాడైనను దాని తినవలెను. మూడవ నాటివరకు మిగిలియున్న దానిని అగ్నితో కాల్చివేయవలెను.

6. it shall be eaten in the day of your sacrificing it, and on the morrow, and that which is left on the third day shall be burned with fire.

7. మూడవనాడు దానిలో కొంచె మైనను తినినయెడల అది హేయమగును; అది అంగీకరింపబడదు.

7. And if it is at all eaten on the third day, it is unclean; it shall not be accepted.

8. దానిని తినువాడు తన దోషశిక్షను భరించును. వాడు యెహోవాకు పరిశుద్ధమైన దానిని అపవిత్రపరచెను. వాడు ప్రజలలోనుండి కొట్టివేయబడును.

8. And he who eats it, he shall bear his iniquity; for he has polluted the holy thing of Jehovah, and that person shall be cut off from his people.

9. మీరు మీ భూమి పంటను కోయునప్పుడు నీ పొలము యొక్క ఓరలను పూర్తిగా కోయకూడదు; నీ కోతలో పరిగెను ఏరుకొనకూడదు; నీ ఫలవృక్షముల తోట పరిగెను కూర్చుకొనకూడదు;

9. And as you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not completely reap the corner of your field; and you shall not gather the gleaning of your harvest;

10. నీ ఫలవృక్షముల తోటలో రాలిన పండ్లను ఏరుకొనకూడదు, బీదలకును పరదేశులకును వాటిని విడిచిపెట్టవలెను;

10. and you shall not glean your vineyard, and you shall not gather the leavings of your vineyard; you shall leave them to the poor and to the alien; I am Jehovah your God.

11. నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను. మీరు దొంగిలింపకూడదు, బొంకకూడదు, ఒకనితో ఒకడు అబద్ధమాడకూడదు;

11. You shall not steal nor lie, nor deceive to one another.

12. నా నామమునుబట్టి అబద్ధప్రమా ణము చేయకూడదు; నీ దేవుని నామమును అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు; నేను యెహోవాను.

12. And you shall not swear by My name to a falsehood; nor shall you pollute the name of your God; I am Jehovah.

13. నీ పొరుగువాని హింసింపకూడదు, వాని దోచుకొనకూడదు, కూలి వాని కూలి మరునాటి వరకు నీయొద్ద ఉంచుకొనకూడదు;

13. You shall not extort your neighbor, nor rob; you shall not allow the wages of one hired to remain with you until morning.

14. చెవిటివాని తిట్టకూడదు, గ్రుడ్డివానియెదుట అడ్డమువేయకూడదు; నీ దేవునికి భయపడవలెను, నేను యెహోవాను.

14. You shall not revile the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind; for you shall revere your God. I am Jehovah.

15. అన్యాయపు తీర్పు తీర్చకూడదు, బీదవాడని పక్ష పాతము చేయకూడదు, గొప్పవాడని అభిమానము చూపకూడదు; న్యాయమునుబట్టి నీ పొరుగువానికి తీర్పు తీర్చవలెను.

15. You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment; you shall not respect the person of the poor, nor favor the person of the mighty; but in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

16. నీ ప్రజలలో కొండెములాడుచు ఇంటింటికి తిరుగకూడదు, నీ సహోదరునికి ప్రాణ హానిచేయ చూడకూడదు, నేను యెహోవాను.

16. You shall not go as a slanderer among your people; you shall not stand up against the blood of your neighbor; I am Jehovah.

17. నీ హృదయములో నీ సహోదరుని మీద పగపట్టకూడదు, నీ పొరుగువాని పాపము నీ మీదికి రాకుండునట్లు నీవు తప్పక వానిని గద్దింపవలెను.

17. You shall not hate your brother in your heart; you shall certainly reprove your neighbor, and not allow sin on him.

18. కీడుకు ప్రతికీడు చేయకూడదు, నీ ప్రజలమీద కోపముంచుకొనక నిన్నువలె నీ పొరుగు వానిని ప్రేమింపవలెను; నేను యెహోవాను.

18. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am Jehovah.

19. మీరు నాకట్టడలను ఆచరింపవలెను; నీ జంతువులను ఇతర జాతిజంతువులను కలియ నీయకూడదు; నీ పొలములో వేరు వేరు జాతుల విత్తనములు చల్లకూడదు; బొచ్చును నారయు కలిసిన బట్ట వేసికొనకూడదు.

19. You shall keep my statutes; you shall not cause your livestock to breed with different kinds; you shall not sow two kinds in your field; and you shall not allow a garment mixed of linen and wool to come upon you.

20. ఒకనికి ప్రధానము చేయబడిన దాసి, వెలయిచ్చి విమోచింపబడకుండగానేమి ఊరక విడిపింపబడకుండగానేమి ఒకడు దానితో శయనించి వీర్యస్ఖలనము చేసినయెడల వారిని శిక్షింపవలెను. అది విడిపింపబడలేదు గనుక వారికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపకూడదు.

20. And when a man lies with a woman with semen, and she is a slave-girl, betrothed to a man, and not truly redeemed, and freedom not having been given to her, there shall be an inquest; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

21. అతడు అపరాధ పరిహారార్ధబలిని, అనగా అపరాధపరిహారార్థబలియగు పొట్టేలును ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునకు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి తీసికొనిరావలెను.

21. And he shall bring in his guilt offering to Jehovah, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, a ram for a guilt offering.

22. అప్పుడు యాజకుడు అతడు చేసిన పాపమునుబట్టి పాపపరిహారార్థబలియగు పొట్టేలువలన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని అతని నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయవలెను. దీనివలన అతడు చేసిన పాపము విషయమై అతనికి క్షమాపణ కలుగును.

22. And the priest shall atone for him with the ram of the guilt offering before Jehovah for his sin which he has sinned; and it shall be forgiven him because of his sin he has sinned.

23. మీరు ఆ దేశమునకు వచ్చి ఆహారమునకై నానా విధములైన చెట్లను నాటినప్పుడు వాటి పండ్లను అపవిత్రముగా ఎంచవలెను. వాటి కాపు మీకు ఎక్కువగా ఉండునట్లు అవి మూడు సంవత్సరములవరకు మీకు అపవిత్రముగా ఉండవలెను, వాటిని తినకూడదు.

23. And when you come into the land and have planted all of the food trees, then you shall expose its foreskin, its fruit, it shall be as uncircumcised for you three years; it shall not be eaten.

24. నాలుగవ సంవత్సరమున వాటి ఫలములన్నియు యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన స్తుతియాగ ద్రవ్యములగును; అయిదవ సంవత్సరమున వాటి ఫలములను తినవచ్చును;

24. And in the fourth year all its fruit is holy; it is for praises for Jehovah.

25. నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను.

25. And in the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, that it may yield to you its increase; I am Jehovah your God.

26. రక్తము కూడినదేదియు తినకూడదు, శకునములు చూడకూడదు, మంత్రయోగములు చేయకూడదు,

26. You shall not eat with the blood; you shall not divine, nor conjure spirits.

27. మీ నుదుటి వెండ్రుకలను గుండ్రముగా కత్తిరింపకూడదు, నీ గడ్డపు ప్రక్కలను గొరగకూడదు,

27. You shall not round the edge of your head, nor mar the edge of your beard.

28. చచ్చినవారికొరకు మీ దేహమును చీరుకొనకూడదు, పచ్చబొట్లు మీ దేహమునకు పొడుచుకొనకూడదు; నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను.

28. And you shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead; and you shall not put on yourself any etched mark; I am Jehovah.

29. మీ దేశము వ్యభిచరింపకయు దుష్కామ ప్రవర్తనతోనిండకయు ఉండునట్లు నీ కుమార్తె వ్యభిచారిణియగుటకై ఆమెను వేశ్యగా చేయకూడదు.

29. You shall not pollute your daughter, to cause her to be a prostitute, that the land may not go whoring, and the land become full of wickedness.

30. నేను నియమించిన విశ్రాంతి దినములను మీరు ఆచరింపవలెను నా పరిశుద్ధస్థలమును మన్నింపవలెను; నేను యెహోవాను.

30. You shall keep My sabbaths; and you shall revere My sanctuary. I am Jehovah.

31. కర్ణపిశాచిగలవారి దగ్గరకుపోకూడదు, సోదెగాండ్రను వెదకి వారివలన అపవిత్రత కలుగజేసికొనకూడదు; నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను.

31. You shall not turn to mediums, and you shall not seek to spirit-knowers to be defiled by them; I am Jehovah your God.

32. తల నెరసినవాని యెదుట లేచి ముసలివాని ముఖమును ఘనపరచి నీ దేవునికి భయపడవలెను; నేను యెహోవాను.

32. You shall rise up in the face of gray hair; and you shall honor the face of an old man; and be afraid of your God. I am Jehovah.

33. మీ దేశమందు పరదేశి నీ మధ్య నివసించునప్పుడు వానిని బాధింపకూడదు,

33. And when an alien lives with you in your land, you shall not oppress him;

34. మీ మధ్య నివసించు పరదేశిని మీలో పుట్టినవానివలె ఎంచవలెను, నిన్నువలె వానిని ప్రేమింప వలెను, ఐగుప్తుదేశములో మీరు పరదేశులై యుంటిరి; నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను.

34. as the native among you, so shall be the alien who is staying with you; and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am Jehovah your God.

35. తీర్పు తీర్చునప్పుడు కొలతలోగాని తూనికెలోగాని పరిమాణములోగాని మీరు అన్యాయము చేయకూడదు.

35. You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures and weights, or in quantity.

36. న్యాయమైన త్రాసులు న్యాయమైన గుండ్లు న్యాయమైన తూము న్యాయమైన పడి మీకుండవలెను; నేను ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించిన మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను.

36. You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin. I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt;

37. కాగా మీరు నా కట్టడలన్నిటిని నా విధులన్నిటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనవలెను; నేను యెహోవాను.

37. and you shall observe all My statutes, and all My judgments and shall do them; I am Jehovah.
