1. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. ADONAI said to Moshe,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించువాటి వలన అహరోనును అతని కుమారులును నా పరిశుద్ధనామమును అపవిత్రపరచకుండునట్లు వారు ఆ పరిశుద్ధమైనవాటిని ప్రతిష్ఠితములుగా ఎంచవలెనని వారితో చెప్పుము; నేను యెహోవాను.

2. 'Tell Aharon and his sons to separate themselves from the holy things of the people of Isra'el which they set apart as holy for me, so that they will not profane my holy name; I am ADONAI.

3. నీవు వారితో ఇట్లనుముమీ తర తరములకు మీ సమస్త సంతానములలో ఒకడు అపవిత్రత గలవాడై, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు వాటిని సమీపించినయెడల అట్టివాడు నా సన్నిధిని ఉండకుండ కొట్టివేయబడును; నేను యెహోవాను.

3. Tell them, 'Any descendant of yours through all your generations who approaches the holy things that the people of Isra'el consecrate to ADONAI and is unclean will be cut off from before me; I am ADONAI.

4. అహరోను సంతానములో ఒకనికి కుష్ఠయినను స్రావమైనను కలిగినయెడల అట్టివాడు పవిత్రత పొందువరకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిలో దేనిని తినకూడదు. శవమువలని అపవిత్రతగల దేనినైనను ముట్టువాడును స్ఖలితవీర్యుడును,

4. ''Any descendant of Aharon with [tzara'at] or a discharge is not to eat the holy things until he is clean. Anyone who has touched a person made unclean by a dead body, or who has had a seminal emission,

5. అపవిత్రమైన పురుగునేమి యేదో ఒక అపవిత్రతవలన అపవిత్రుడైన మనుష్యునినేమి ముట్టువాడును, అట్టి అపవిత్రత తగిలినవాడును సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును.

5. or who has touched a reptile or insect that can make him unclean, or a man who is unclean for any reason and who can transmit to him his uncleanness-

6. అతడు నీళ్లతో తన దేహమును కడుగుకొను వరకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినకూడదు.

6. the person who touches any of these will be unclean until evening and is not to eat the holy things unless he bathes his body in water.

7. సూర్యుడు అస్తమించినప్పుడు అతడు పవిత్రుడగును; తరువాత అతడు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినవచ్చును, అవి వానికి ఆహారమే గదా.

7. After sunset he will be clean; and afterwards, he may eat the holy things; because they are his food.

8. అతడు కళేబరమునైనను చీల్చ బడినదానినైనను తిని దానివలన అపవిత్రపరచుకొనకూడదు; నేను యెహోవాను.

8. But he is not to eat anything that dies naturally or is torn to death by wild animals and thereby make himself unclean; I am ADONAI.

9. కాబట్టి నేను విధించిన విధిని అపవిత్రపరచి, దాని పాపభారమును మోసికొని దానివలన చావకుండునట్లు ఈ విధిని ఆచరించవలెను; నేను వారిని పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను.

9. The [cohanim] must observe this charge of mine; otherwise, if they profane it, they will bear the consequences of their sin for doing so and die in it; I am ADONAI, who makes them holy.

10. అన్యుడు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినకూడదు, యాజకునియింట నివసించు అన్యుడేగాని జీతగాడేగాని ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినకూడదు,

10. 'No one who is not a [cohen] may eat anything holy, nor may a tenant or employee of a [cohen] eat anything holy.

11. అయితే యాజకుడు క్రయధనమిచ్చి కొనినవాడును అతని యింట పుట్టినవాడును అతడు తిను ఆహారమును తినవచ్చును.

11. But if a [cohen] acquires a slave, either through purchase or through his being born in his household, he may share his food.

12. యాజకుని కుమార్తె అన్యుని కియ్యబడినయెడల ఆమె ప్రతిష్ఠితమైన వాటిలో ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణమును తినకూడదు.

12. If the daughter of a [cohen] is married to a man who is not a [cohen], she is not to have a share of the food set aside from the holy things.

13. యాజకుని కుమార్తెలలో విధవరాలేకాని విడనాడబడినదే కాని సంతానము లేనియెడల ఆమె తన బాల్యమందువలె తన తండ్రి యింటికి తిరిగి చేరి తన తండ్రి ఆహారమును తినవచ్చును గాని అన్యుడెవడును దాని తినకూడదు.

13. But if the daughter of a [cohen] is a widow or divorcee and has no child, and she is sent back to her father's house as when she was young, she may share in her father's food; but no one not a [cohen] is to share in it.

14. ఒకడు పొరబాటున ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిని తినినయెడల వాడు ఆ ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనదానిలో అయిదవవంతు కలిపి దానితో యాజకునికియ్యవలెను.

14. If a person eats holy food by mistake, he must add one-fifth to it and give the holy food to the [cohen.]

15. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రతిష్ఠితమైనవాటిని తినుటవలన అపరాధమును భరింపకుండునట్లు తాము యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠించు పరిశుద్ధ ద్రవ్యములను అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు.

15. They are not to profane the holy things of the people of Isra'el that they have set apart for ADONAI

16. నేను వాటిని పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవానని చెప్పుము.

16. and thus cause them to bear guilt requiring a guilt offering, by eating their holy things; because I am ADONAI, who makes them holy.''

17. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

17. ADONAI said to Moshe,

18. నీవు అహరోనుతోను అతని కుమారులతోను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరితోను ఇట్లు చెప్పుము ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యింటివారిలోనేగాని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో నివసించు పరదేశులలోనేగాని యెవడు యెహోవాకు దహన బలిగా స్వేచ్ఛార్పణములనైనను మ్రొక్కు బళ్లనైనను అర్పించునొ

18. 'Speak to Aharon and his sons and to the entire people of Isra'el; tell them: 'When anyone, whether a member of the house of Isra'el or a foreigner living in Isra'el, brings his offering, either in connection with a vow or as a voluntary offering, and brings it to ADONAI as a burnt offering,

19. వాడు అంగీకరింపబడినట్లు, గోవులలోనుండి యైనను గొఱ్ఱెమేకలలో నుండియైనను దోషములేని మగదానిని అర్పింప వలెను.

19. in order for you to be accepted, you must bring a male without defect from the cattle, the sheep or the goats.

20. దేనికి కళంకముండునో దానిని అర్పింపకూడదు; అది మీ పక్షముగా అంగీకరింపబడదు.

20. You are not to bring anything with a defect, because it will not be accepted from you.

21. ఒకడు మ్రొక్కుబడిని చెల్లించుటకేగాని స్వేచ్ఛార్పణము అర్పించుటకేగాని సమాధానబలిరూపముగా గోవునైనను గొఱ్ఱెనైనను మేకనైనను యెహోవాకు తెచ్చినప్పుడు అది అంగీకరింపబడునట్లు దోషము లేనిదై యుండవలెను; దానిలో కళంకమేదియు నుండకూడదు.

21. Whoever brings a sacrifice of peace offerings to ADONAI in fulfillment of a vow or as a voluntary offering, whether it come from the herd or from the flock, it must be unblemished and without defect in order to be accepted.

22. గ్రుడ్డిదేమి కుంటిదేమి కొరతగలదేమి గడ్డగలదేమి గజ్జిరోగముగలదేమి చిరుగుడుగలదేమి అట్టివాటిని యెహోవాకు అర్పింపకూడదు; వాటిలో దేనిని బలిపీఠముమీద యెహోవాకు హోమము చేయకూడదు.

22. If it is blind, injured, mutilated, has an abnormal growth or has festering or running sores, you are not to offer it to ADONAI or make such an offering by fire on the altar to ADONAI.

23. కురూపియైన కోడెనైనను గొఱ్ఱె మేకల మందలోని దానినైనను స్వేచ్ఛార్పణముగా అర్పింపవచ్చును గాని అది మ్రొక్కుబడిగా అంగీకరింపబడదు.

23. If a bull or lamb has a limb which is too long or short, you may offer it as a voluntary offering; but for a vow it will not be accepted.

24. విత్తులు నులిపిన దానినేగాని విరిగినదానినేగాని చితికినదానినేగాని కోయబడినదానినేగాని యెహోవాకు అర్పింపకూడదు; మీ దేశములో అట్టికార్యము చేయకూడదు;

24. An animal with bruised, crushed, torn or cut genitals you are not to offer to ADONAI. You are not to do these things in your land,

25. పరదేశి చేతినుండి అట్టివాటిలో దేనిని తీసికొని మీ దేవునికి ఆహారముగా అర్పింపకూడదు; అవి లోపము గలవి, వాటికి కళంకములుండును, అవి మీ పక్షముగా అంగీకరింపబడవని చెప్పుము.

25. and you are not to receive any of these from a foreigner for you to offer as bread for your God, because their deformity is a defect in them- they will not be accepted from you.''

26. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

26. ADONAI said to Moshe,

27. దూడయేగాని, గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లయేగాని, మేకపిల్లయేగాని, పుట్టినప్పుడు అది యేడు దినములు దాని తల్లితో నుండవలెను. ఎనిమిదవనాడు మొదలుకొని అది యెహోవాకు హోమముగా అంగీకరింప తగును.

27. 'When a bull, sheep or goat is born, it is to stay with its mother for seven days; but from the eighth day on, it may be accepted for an offering made by fire to ADONAI.

28. అయితే అది ఆవైనను గొఱ్ఱె మేకలలోనిదైనను మీరు దానిని దానిపిల్లను ఒక్క నాడే వధింపకూడదు.

28. However, no animal is to be slaughtered together with its young on the same day, neither cow nor ewe.

29. మీరు కృతజ్ఞతాబలియగు పశువును వధించినప్పుడు అది మీకొరకు అంగీకరింపబడునట్లుగా దానిని అర్పింపవలెను.

29. 'When you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to ADONAI, you must do it in a way such that you will be accepted.

30. ఆనాడే దాని తినివేయవలెను; మరునాటి వరకు దానిలో కొంచెమైనను మిగిలింపకూడదు; నేను యెహోవాను.

30. It must be eaten on the same day it is offered; leave none of it till morning; I am ADONAI.

31. మీరు నా ఆజ్ఞలననుసరించి వాటి ప్రకారము నడుచుకొనవలెను; నేను యెహోవాను.

31. 'You are to keep my [mitzvot] and obey them; I am ADONAI.

32. నా పరిశుద్ధనామమును అపవిత్రపరచకూడదు, నేను ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో నన్ను పరిశుద్ధునిగా చేసికొందును;

32. You are not to profane my holy name; on the contrary, I am to be regarded as holy among the people of Isra'el; I am ADONAI, who makes you holy,

33. నేను మిమ్మును పరిశుద్ధపరచు యెహోవాను. నేను మీకు దేవుడనై యుండునట్లు ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించిన యెహోవానని చెప్పుము.

33. who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God; I am ADONAI.'
